We have opened up a new PURELY SCIFI ONGOING-THEMED ROLEPLAY CHAT called TORTUGA STATION.

It is a space station on the Verge of space ran by aliens and filled with all kinds of bad sort of people! You can find more information about this universe by going to the Tortuga Chat Room.

Because it is an ongoing theme room, you can log in at ANY TIME to play and continue the story. Just like people do with the Inn. (And it is open to both teens and adults!) You never need any bios, character sheets, or permission. You can play as many characters as you want! Kidnap friends and play forever!

We are christening this new chat TONIGHT with an improv play date. <3 Show up with a charrie and we'll all play until we pass out. 8D

Will the setting change? It starts at the bazar, but will the camera "shift focus"?

I think that would be cool. Have a different scene setting each week/month, and allow people to play out their parts in it.

Could get a bit messy if you have a restricted setting, like a control room. But that'll be part of the creative challenge.

Also, will there be events? Major plot points that happen on a certain day?

And you could break that initial intro box into 2 parts: left and right. On the left have the general setting/fluff, and on the right have the local setting for the week/month.

I can't do this with the current chat system. >:[ But I could make a gallery folder for the room. O_O That would be a fun idea for these themed rooms.

What most people do for the Inn currently is to just create a character using the Media module, then link to the character if/when people need it.

Creating a folder for characters could be good too.

*plans to bring her Chosen ChaRP character in here since a certain admin and a certain GM seem to have forgotten about it >:[*
 
We haven't forgotten, there are just scheduling conflicts when you have 2 GMs with opposite hours. O__O

by the way this would NOT be the same universe. 8D
 
I'll pull some timey-wimey universe-jumping and/or alternate-universe hocus-pocus to make her fit. ^^
 
Is the "Verge" a place? PROPER NOUNS!
