Semicolon is a great psion of immense power. He started life as a creature named Sayr, a psychic mammal that walked on all fours and looked like what would happen if humanity evolved from sloths instead of apes. He took the name Semicolon after he began assimilating creatures to extend his life, the symbol of a sentence that should have ended but has kept going. He takes great pains to translate his name into local equivalents and his empire is built on attaining a pleasurable existence for all of his assimilated bodies. All else falls by the wayside. Planets are terraformed to produce only that which is useful to him. All nature that does not please him gets levelled for his mines. Of the spiral galaxy that he occupies, Semicolon has possession of two of the four arms of the galaxy but he has only one of the fractional arms and is moving through resistance territory a lot slower than his rival.
