Zombie Apocalypse

Wes watched the pinky swear and huffed slightly to himself. "This is all well and good ladies but we should leave soon before anything finds us."
 
Ryder scoffed at the man in disgust "She is is probably scarred for life, the most she needs right now is to trust someone." She said coldly "Okay Mr. I have a house, where is it?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
 
He sighed and nodded. "Whatever. Follow me and stay close." He replied and nodded down the street. His house was just down the road and off to the left. It was a short walk.
 
Hesitantly, Cora wrapped her pinky around Ryder's bigger one, she managed to smile just a little before Wes huffed at them. She moved a little closer to Ryder listening in on the conversation they were having with one another.

Ryder smiled down at the younger girl as she grabbed her hand and followed after Wes. She walked quickly, wanting to get her to safety and to finally be relaxed and off her guard.
 
He lead them down the block and pointed to a white house, the windows boarded up. "That one is mine." He told them with a small smile. They approached the front doors swiftly and he took out a key, unlocking it. Wes ushered them inside and relocked the door. "make yourselves comfortable."
 
Ryder once inside relaxed and went in pursuit of the couch she saw and laid down suddenly so tired "This is amazing...thank you for allowing us here." She said feeling happy she was safe and with other people. She was already nearly asleep when her head his a pillow.
 
Souldat heard the voices of people. She runs to hide with her pistol and bow and arrow by her side. Her robot friend also went to her. Souldat pet her "Good girl Phoenix." She stared watching the people controlling her breathing.
 
A young man at the age of 25 would be walking down a road which was full of homes. He continued down the long road with twin blades in his hands. He had on all black. A black long sleeve shirt and black baggy pants with black leather boots. He then heard a voice nearby and he would glare towards the sound. He took a step back and hid behind a vehicle hoping he wasn't spotted
 
Souldat looked outside making sure their was no more voices and then walked out seeing no one. She saw millions of houses. She made a clicking sound that made Phoenix come to her. On the outside Phoenix looked like a regular wolf. Phoenix sniffed the air and then started to growl very quiet alarming Souldat.
 
Cora herself hadn't slept in a long while, so lacking other things to do, she snuggled up next to Ryder on the couch and dozed off before she knew it... For the first time in countless days, she felt safe enough to rest like this.
 
When the girls had fallen asleep, Wes smiled to himself. He was happy that he could help the two. He tucked them in and fell asleep on the floor after making sure that the doors and windows were locked. He fell into a fitful sleep and woke up early the next morning when it was still dark to look for some food for them all in his cupboards.
 
He would would then quickly turn around and would glare straight ahead has he stood up.. He decided to press forward not hearing anything else. He started to walk down the road. He let out a small sigh " need a place to stay for the night.." he started to look around at the house most of them didn't look so good for shelter
 
When Ryder woke the next morning she smiled. She laid there for a while stroking Coras hair before softly getting up without waking her up. Almost immediatley she heard the sound in the kitchen and walked in to find Wes looking through his cabinets "Goodmorning.." she said leaning in the doorway.
 
Cora stirred, finally awake, and the first thing that she noticed was the smell of food... Her stomach rumbled, reminding her that she hadn't eaten in a while, with a yawn, she got up and followed the smell towards the kitchen where Ryder and Wes were already at.
 
Ryder smilded down at the girl when she walked in "Goodmorning sweetheart, are you hungry?" She asked looking over at Wes to see what he had planned to cook for them, her own stomach growling.
 
Wes looked back at the two and smiled at them. "Good morning ladies." He murmured. "How do you feel about peanut butter and jelly?"
 
Ryder went and sat down at the counter and smiled back at Wes "Sounds delightful, it feels like i haven't ate food in forever." She said looking around the kitchen then looked down at Cora with a smile.
 
Cora's stomach grumbled loudly almost as if in agreement to Ryders statement, when she noticed Ryder was looking at her with a smile... She smiled back at her shyly before looking back at the food Wes was making, practically mesmerized...
 
After finishing the sandwiches Wes handed one to Ryder and then one over to Cora. "Dig in." He murmured and licked some peanut butter off of his thumb. He looked at the peanut butter. "This was some of the last of his food. He had basically ransacked the entire town and looked over at Ryder. "I hate to break this too you both but we may have to move sometime soon. I only have so much food left."
