Personality: Gin, in real life, is a quite anti-social. He won't really make the first move to go talk to you except if required. Most likely, you will think of him as some kind of cold hearted guy as a first impression. Fortunately, that isn't truly him. He is cold, yes, but he warms up to people if he didn't categorize you as annoying or too social. Despite him being a bit antipathetic, he does have a sense of humor. Most likely a dark sense of humor, but nonetheless one. Gin can be good in teamwork and does take the lead if he sees everything is spiraling down, but he is most likely the type of guy that would keep order and take more of a second role in charge. Which, you can kind of referee as the 'bad cop' in a good cop, bad cop situation.
Background: Gin has a pretty ordinary life. His father is a very hard working man that brings home a good paycheck. He used to live in the more traditional part of Japan, in Kyoto. His maternal family is very religious and bound to their roots, explaining how they are the ones who take care of one of the biggest temples there.

Outside of school, she normally wears shorts with lots of pockets and a T-shirt but it is not uncommon to see her wear a simple dress or a nice Shirt with a skirt. Though she does get cold easily so expect her to have something with a hood during Fall (Vest, coat, hoody), Winter (Ear muffs and scarf and the only time she wears pants) , and spring (Vest). As for shoes, she wears commonly wears Tennis shoes, Rain boots when it is wet, or designer boots. She only wears sandals to the beach, if she remembers. Unless it is super formal, she does not wear heels (except with boots). She has a collection of more colorful or elegant dresses but rarely wears them because she does not like the attention.
At home, She has a numerous pair of pajamas. She has pajama onesies, Shirts and short shorts, and several slippers. All outfits with different themes ranging from space to bunnies. She also almost always has a blanket with her because she gets cold easily at home.

In real life, Ann is quiet and reserved. She likes to listen to other people however she has a hard time being the center of attention. She gets easily embarrass whenever she gets a complement and is easily overwhelmed in a crowd. She underestimates herself a lot and tries to avoid confrontation. Sometimes she even settles for less if it would prevent an argument.
She also still feels hurt about her mother leaving her when she was little but manages to work through it if only for her father. It is a sore subject and has a hard time holding in the tears when she is reminded of her. Though it was so long ago, she remembers the event as if it just happened a few hours ago. Still, she still loves her mom and will not settle for people making fun of her. She has been known to even yell when defending her.
Ann is considered to be a very nice girl. She never ever is seen getting into a fight, argument, or even saying that she dislikes someone. However these observations are strictly taking from people who seen her at school. On the inside she really is indifferent. Kindness is normally her way of trying to avoid unwanted attention or to get people to stop bothering her. On the inside she does not care for many people. Besides her father and a few close friends, she tends to stay out of other people's lives. She hates people who abuse her quiet nature and she dreads the whiners who just won't shut up. She hides all her true feelings under smile but her friends and father know the truth. How she is not brave enough to lash out at others. How she would give not out of sympathy but irritation. How she listens for fear of explaining why she does not care. Her friends understand all of this and why she acts like this and how behind a mouse and keyboard, she becomes a whole new person.
Background:
Ann is a single child living with her dad. Her mother ran away from home when she was 5 leaving her dad to take care of her alone. Ann took it hard at first. She stopped smiling, stopped laughing, and only spoke when she had to. Her father had to pick up an extra job to support the family which further added to Ann's depression. 2 years later before her 7th birthday, he got a promotion which would allow him to support them on 1 job. With his new free time he tried to spend more time with Ann.
He took her to do different things and despite trying them, she never took interest. He took her to amusement parks, climbing, fishing, but nothing seemed to make her happy. One day after picking up Ann from school, a teacher showed him a phone puzzle game. The father tried to solve it but was just ungodly awful. He asked his daughter to try it. She gave it a try and solved it in an hour. The father had been trying for 3 days. He praised her and for the first time, she smiled.
On her 7th birthday her father bought her another game, this time it was a co-op fantasy game called Towers and Titans. Her and her father would play it together all the time. Slowly Ann began to open up to the world. She made a few friends who not only played Towers and Titans but modded it. This sparked Ann's love for programming and was the bases of her dream to be a video game designer.
Now 8 years later Ann has played and "cracked" a multitude of games. Her goal when playing a new game is to beat it and developed a strategy for her father to beat it (Because her father is just terrible... but he always finds a way to have fun) when he beats the game, she deems it "Cracked." She has her own website where people talk about all types of games, from the old day arcades to the newest game coming out on the market Ziradia Online and guess who just got accepted to test it XD!

After all, she is not a bad person who thinks she is number one. She is arrogant because she worked hard to plan everything out. All the research, testing, debates, and experience gives her the right to have confidence, at least she believes that.
