Don't worry, I'll pity you! Even if you don't ask for it! I really like pitying people! It makes me feel superior.

The reason I disappeared from the site for so long is the reason I'm hardly active at the moment...
This week really isn't a good one [spoili](okay, it's good, just not good for roleplaying. Both of my sisters' birthdays are this week. and it's the last of the term)[/spoili]

I don't ask your forgiveness, just your pity understanding..

Thank you for the explanation.
Are you confident that you are capable of participation?

@Crow
Of course, of course! Spring break starts on Monday for at least high school, so I'll have lots more time then. It lasts all week, and then it'll be a new term, so no more exams! I shouldn't have any difficulties participating.

"Spring Break"? Surprised America doesn't call it Easter what with being mainly Christian. Even England calls it Easter and we're 40% Atheist.

America is totally a religious free country. just saying we dont cater to any one religion. *looks away and whistles all innocent like*

*doesn't cater to religion* *like, 90% of the senate believe religion should be involved in politics* *100% of the country's politics actually has religion involved and specifically caters to Christianity*

Nope. Out of the entire senate, only 1 person is openly not religious. Both of the major political parties are afraid to call themselves anything but Christian because it means losing a colossal amount of votes. Only 2.1% of American civilians would feel comfortable with electing an Atheistic president. A blind mouse could easily see that with only 2.1% of people even potentially voting for an Atheist, Christianity is massively tied to American politics. And it is Christianity, not Religion in general, as shown by the fact that just 8.3% would be willing to vote for a Muslim.

1st being religious does not mean your work is religious. (or else there would be no gay marriages allowed) That is why we have separation of church and state. The reason people would prefer Christians in the government is because they think they know the moral code of Christians and thus feel safer as suppose to Muslims which is the primary religion of the terrorist we are at war with.

While that sounds very reasonable, it does not mean "100% of the country's politics actually has religion involved and specifically caters to Christianity"

Now if you say the laws are mostly influence by Christianity, I would agree as that is the moral code to which everything was based around.

Nice convo. Maybe I shoulda just said "a short vacation".

Nonetheless, I was not expecting my spring break to be so busy. Family, family, family, and... surprisingly, homework. Now, before you go "I've seen this before" know that I'm not making an excuse to convince you to wait for me while I go disappear for another few days. This is me realizing I can't reasonably keep up with a thread with multiple people.

Excuse me while I go bury my head in a load of literal dirty laundry in shame for doing this, but I'm dropping out.

...Better now than after we've started, right?

But that's still far more influence than religion should have. Christianity's moral code is abominable. I'd rather move to some backwards African tribe and live without internet for the rest of my life than live in a country run on Christian morals. The morals that most modern Christians have are society's morals, mainly influenced by atheistic Socialism, not morals drawn from religion - otherwise, half of America would be going around kicking merchants because they're not capable of holding a civilised conversation.

1st and for most, I am sorry but I feel a little offended by that statement. I am a christian (granted i am not very religious) and I believe my morals are fine and reasonable.

2nd, As I stated in my last comment, the country is not ran on Christan morals but since you are not listening, I feel it's pointless to further explain.
I mean sure the country has its flaws. (Racism, laziness, arrogance and ignorant people, contradicting ideas like freedom of religion and yet some states passed laws saying stores cannot be open on sunday) but it is nothing compared to countries like the UAE where woman cannot even shake hands with men without getting in trouble (ps that is what you get when you have laws base on religion)

3rd, I would respectfully like for this topic to end because I feel your comments are inappropriate and offensive to both my country and religion.

Thank you and have a good day
