Intrduction!

Yu Yu Hakusho (translated as Yu Yu Hakusho, Ghost Files, Ghost Fighter and/or Poltergeist Report) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who is struck by a car while trying to save a child's life. While in the afterlife, he is named the Spirit Detective by Koenma & Botan, and must investigate cases concerning demons and apparitions. Yusuke travels with his friends Kuwabara, Kurama & Hiei, the other protagonists of the story. As the series progresses, the series strays away from a detective story to a more fighting-oriented story.

In this alternate universe—Of Souls and Blood (YYHSB)—the Reikai enlists multiple Spirit Detectives that act as a police force for cases concerning demons and apparitions in the Ningenkai (mortal realm). The specific setting of this roleplay is a fictional town named Kuchikiroka and rejects the existence of any events that occurred in the original Yu Yu Hakusho as well as characters such as the former protagonist Yusuku and his companion Kuwabara. This alternate universe also hosts several new elements, such as soul resonance, tantei-duos and a more frequent rate of dormant, demonic genes.

TheSouls!
All those that live have souls comprised of life energy whether they are human or demon, but differ in the type of energy they can generate and control. Humans generate Spirit Energy, also known as Reiki; Demons generate Demon Energy, which has no other name. The world is unfair to both humans and demons, however, in that some are born with more life energy than others and thus stronger souls. Humans born with abnormally strong souls may be spiritually aware as they are more capable of sensing the spiritual energy around them generating from residual life energy of dead souls. Although the spiritually aware are common, few are ever recruited to become Spirit Detectives. Those that are recruited have been investigated by a Grim Reaper, then they must die in such a way their body is not severely damaged (often a scenario set up by the aforementioned Grim Reaper) and kept alive temporarily while they exist in limbo and their body rests in a comatose state. While they exist as an apparition, they must pass a series of tests to return to their body and understand what it will mean to be a Spirit Detective.

However, there are rare instances where those that would normally fail an inspection from a Grim Reaper are still chosen to become Spirit Detectives. A rare occurrence called Soul Resonance will often cause the Reikai to take the chance of giving someone normally considered a liability the opportunity to be a Spirit Detective. Soul Resonance is a power phenomenon that occurs when the Life Energy of two souls is on such a perfect wavelength that when trained and brought near each other in the right circumstances, their power grows exponentially. These power couples are called Tantei-Duos and are the largest risks and assets the Reikai has to offer. They are also what this roleplay will be centered around.

TheBlood!
On rare occasion, demons may slip through the spiritual barrier between the Ningenkai (mortal world) and Spiritual World. These demons are rarely of major threat, most being D or C rank at tops, but more importantly introduce demonic genes into the world. Some genes lay dormant for generations upon generations while others can surface in immediate offspring. In either case, these genes have one unique trait that make them important to this roleplay. Those with demonic blood in their veins are often sparked in terms of their own demonic energies by the relatively intense spiritual energies of ghosts, apparitions or even the strong souls of those destined to become Spirit Detectives. Those with demonic blood are naturally attracted to powerful souls of Spiritual Energy and even feed of off it, growing stronger. While this is rarely ever a problem, it does mean that those with demonic heritage are prone to interacting with future Spirit Detectives.

Additionally, those with Demonic Genes have the potential of becoming what are called Fiends. A Fiend is a human whose demonic heritage has taken over as their hunger for Spiritual Energy becomes so great they will kill others to consume parts of their life energy as their soul escapes their body, commit heinous acts or act out of sheer malice. This hunger exists in almost every individual whose demonic energies pick up, and those that learn to control it can become great assets to the Reikai, often to similar degrees as Spirit Detectives. Those that cannot become Fiends, and the more a Fiend consumes, the more powerful they become. This can present an issue win the Ningenkai, and thus is avoided at all costs.

Kuchikirka!
[spacer]The alternate universe of this world takes place in a fictional Japanese city named Kuchikiroka located along a large river that is fed by Mount Kiroka to the East. Kuchikiroka is a town-sized industrial base known previously for its smog problems due to the factories built along it. Production reform has all-but eradicated the thick smog, but the history of the city remains unchanged. The town originally formed to take advantage of the nearby mining operations and easy transportation granted by the Kayaka River, but since grew into a bustling town capable of supporting itself almost a century after its prime of prosperity. Most of the inhabitants of Kuchikiroka are either descendants of the original miners, gang members that use the river for various smuggling operations or white collar criminals that needed an inconspicuous occupation to keep a low-profile.

Kuchikiroka Junior High and High are average Japanese schools with no outstanding profiles or test scores. They are ran by Superintendent Goda and subsequently through the Junior High and High School Principals Fujikawa and Ishida, respectively. It is common knowledge that Goda effectively runs both schools and does so with disregard to the students and strict enforcement of his policies. Rumor is that he worked for a large trade corporation in Tokyo where he laundered enough money for a lifetime and that he only works as a Superintendent to keep cover. He maintains and image to the public as warm, generous man attempting to help the troubled youth of Kuchikiroka when he is anything but. The entire school is split almost down the middle in terms of both grades and behavior. Those with the high test scores often are never hassled with the street life while everyone else is pushed into the hallways where drugs and beatings dealt almost equally. With teachers turning a blind eye to most and keeping a close one on others, the school is anything but fair.

Some notes to remember is that the region is riddled with just as much superstition as it is corruption and pollution. The deaths of hundreds of miners in Mount Kiroka as well as the mysterious and oddly-thick mist that always surrounds its peaks have led to many, many myths and legends being made about it. The Kayaka River is known for turning brilliant hues of red and orange upon sunset, allowing it to turn almost entirely red at certain parts of the year. This has led to it being called the "Red" or "Bloody" river and as it often leads to Mount Kiroka some even believe it becomes an opening to Hell and releases spirits during those times of year. At its most brilliant, the reflection of the river can even cause the fog of Mount Kiroka to glow an ominous crimson color; making it one of the most beautiful and dread events of the year, so much that even school is canceled.[/spacer]
TermstoKnow!

  • Reikai ― Another term for the realm of spirits and/or afterlife, but most specifically refers to a bureaucratic agency under Lord Enma that directs souls down different paths and different realms as well as protects its meta-geographical position and spiritual jurisdiction.
  • Ningenkai ― The mortal realm, but most specifically refers to the jurisdiction of the mortal realm that is overseen by the Reikai.
  • Makai ― The 'demon' world that was sealed off by King Enma. It was originally part of his jurisdiction, but conflict there was so great after the Reikai assimilated Meikei (a former part of the afterlife also called the Netherworld) that King Enma was forced to seal it off to preserve the balance, thus making it a wild territory.
  • Tantei-Kai ― A group of spiritually-aware and most-often spiritually-empowered humans (and their souls) that are generally recruited after death and generally given a second chance at life to put spirits at rest or eliminate their malicious presence in an attempt to keep the balance. Members of the Tantei-Kai rarely know there are others and are generally called Spirit Detectives.
  • Tantei-Duo ― A pair of souls whose soul wavelengths match up perfectly and have been made into Spirit Detectives by the Reikai. Because of a factor called 'soul resonance', a pair of matching souls can create powerful abilities when used on conjunction. A downfall of this resonance is that the more it is relied on, the weaker each individual soul will be apart. The greatest strength and weakness of this ability is that if pushed to its limit, the souls involved can merge into a single one. This singularity creates a large outburst of energy, but ultimately results in the destruction of the soul as it breaks down due to instability. The individuals involved literally fade into nothing once the ability has hit its peak.
  • Reiki ― Also known as spirit energy and is the energy harnessed by all forms of ghosts, apparitions and humans. The most pure form of reiki is found within the soul and most souls have a unique 'wavelength' as well as 'frequency' to the reiki that comprises the soul. Most of the Ningenkai is comprised of reiki with little variation due to barriers setup by Enma in an attempt to preserve balance.
  • Spirit Detective ― Individuals of notably high spiritual awareness and ultimately spiritually-empowered that work for the Reikai to preserve the balance. Most often, these Spirit Detectives attempt to make earthbound spirits pass on and are even given a second chance at life for their assistance. Spirit Detectives are highly-respected in the Reikai and thus hated by any group or affiliate that holds animosity towards the Reikai. More powerful, veteran Spirit Detectives are often demon hunters and some even hunt down the criminals of the Makai underworld and the corrupt parts of the Reikai. Spirit Detectives are all considered part of the Tantei-Kai.
  • Hand ― A hand is normally considered the assistant of a Spirit Detective and are often also spiritually aware. Hands are often skipped over by the Reikai due to conflict with personalities, greater ties to their existing life or an incompatible soul wavelength. Sometimes the Reikai rejects them due to demonic heritage. In history, Hands have been known to surpass their Spirit Detective counterparts in power and become legends themselves, but their methods of doing such are often questionable and result in them being hunted down as criminals. A Hand is often considered vital to a Spirit Detective due to a weaker variant of soul resonance that exists through their bonds of friendship.

[spacer]Ibuki Kurohana is a fair-skinned boy of average height, weight and build with little outstanding features. He has been doted on for his calm, cool demeanor that adds to his appearance, but alone he is not outstanding. Ibuki tends to prove himself stylish by wearing the one article of clothing allowed over the Kuchikiroka uniform: his signature jacket. During summer, winter, fall and spring, Ibuki is known for wearing his jacket and switches up every year to a new size of similar style. The only time Ibuki is known for removing his jacket is inside the greenhouses of his family businesses were the heat and humidity are often far too high to comfortably wear a jacket.

Although Ibuki tends to be calm and cool on the outside, he has a lot of pent of up rage as one might expect. He is sensitive to the paranormal and feels in most contact with it while working with plants, however this is primarily because his father - never forgetting the son he had left behind - used to contact him through the spiritual veil using the plants he personally planted years ago. Unfortunately, Gurēnue died in the Makai around the age Ibuki was 11, leaving Ibuki with only frustration and the innate ability to feel the spiritual world around him through plants that tapped into his demonic nature. Ibuki has internalized most of his frustration with the hope that if he became successful, his father would return, but in his age essentially realized that would never happen (not because he knew his father was dead; mostly due to a sense of hopelessness). Ibuki is aware that he is a shame to the Kurohana name, and often has tried to be successful to appease them, but has never added up in their eyes. With this, Ibuki is prone to rage-filled outbursts on the streets or in school and is generally kept out of trouble due to the corruption of the school system and his academic as well as athletic status. Quite possibly due to his demonic nature and athletic side, he's considered undefeated on the streets with few people daring to cross him.[/spacer]

[spacer]Ibuki Kurohana is the bastard son of a half-demon named Gurēnue, son of the late Kuronue. The Kurohana household has been the primary producers of plants and flowers ever since they were used for medicines long ago when the town was first founded. Due to the convenient location near a Jigoku no Kuchi (Hell Mouth), the Kurohana greenhouses became the target for all manner of raids from half-demons procuring samples of plants from the Ningenkai (human world) to introduce, hybridize or alter the attributes of demonic plants. However, with the ever-growing superstitious nature of Kuchikiroka, the difficulty of procuring said items became greater for lower-ranking demons.

Gurēnue, the half-demon son of Kuronue - an infamous bat demon thief in the Makai - integrated himself into the Ningenkai on a mission to procure rare and potent herbs to be transplanted into the Makai as per the request of high-ranking demons and dark practitioners. He done this in a manner no demon had attempted before him; seducing a member of the Kurohana family to become part of it, then fleeing upon the next opening of the Jigoku no Kuchi. All in all, his plan worked. Two years of waiting, perfect timing as well as a hollow marriage and the birth of Ibuki ultimately led up to him disappearing randomly into the night, leaving his mother Midori to raise Ibuki by herself.

Ibuki was born as Ibuki Tanaka, but had his name legally reverted to his mother's maiden name afterwards. He also has two step-sisters - both significantly younger than him - after his mother married the husband of her late sister in an attempt to keep the family together, meaning his step-sisters are also his first cousins. Despite this, Ibuki is and his mother are still much considered the black sheeps of their family as Ibuki is a bastard whose only outstanding feature is an innate ability to care for plants while his mother is often referred to as the Kurohana whore, since her husband ran away and she married again.

As one might expect, Ibuki was put through a significant amount of adversity growing up as he was fatherless, detested by a majority of his family and never even truly accepted by his step-father or step-sisters. Where Ibuki excelled, however, was in Junior High and High School. After hitting puberty and his growth spurts, Ibuki became a capable tennis player and a fairly intelligent student - keeping within the top five percent of his class. Although Ibuki was talented in these fields, he never went far enough to actually win awards, meaning his notable talents were generally disregarded by his family.

His peers, however, often felt different. Ibuki tends to be rather introverted due to his lonely upbringing and thus gives off a relatively calm and cool atmosphere around him. Granted he was also involved in academics and sports, his popularity within the school was rather high. Most people within the school know who Ibuki is, whether he is the guy that everyone has chilled with at least once or the girl every girl looked twice at. As this is his graduating year, Ibuki is being offered a spot in the second-most revered university in the region Kuchikiroka is located in and intends to study homeopathic medicines.[/spacer]

    [Gender: M | Age: 21 | Occupation: Garbage man]

    Name: Anton Cooper

Personality: A very calm man and very centered and spiritual person Anton was always considered a nice man by many people. He is not very talkative but has no problem with conversing with people. He prefers to outright speak his mind to someone else rather than keep them in the dark but this doesn't mean he freely tells his secrets. In fact Anton is a very good liar when he wants to be on the rare occasion wants to be. He hates smoking, and drinking considering the acts bad for the mind and the body. He considers everyone who wants to kill themselves with disdain viewing them as weak minded and that they should do as these please. He takes his job as spirit detective very seriously. He absolutely refuses to let those he views as evil walk away unless he knows he can't take them in a fight in which case he gives a modest effort but always is willing to back off. He is not scared of playing dirty with anyone despite his feelings to the contrary. He absolutely loathes the thought of murdering an innocent person in cold blood but if it could save more lives he'd gladly do the deed. He has no real interest in romance and he finds friends as necessary crutches. He is not one to actively seek out a person to help them through trouble unless someone requests him too or it isn't a bother to him.

[spacer]History: Born in America Anton was born to a modest income family down in the suburbs of Connecticut. His dad was a pastor in a local christian church and his mother was a undertaker. His grim family work made him rather few friends in his early childhood. However even as a child Anton was always one to look on the brighter side of things. He loathed fighting people but he learned how to fight in self defense classes when bullies started to bother him in early childhood. His dad was always busy with people around the neighborhood and he his mother was always busy with her work and when she wasn't she was hardly one to talk leaving Anton to grow up on his own for the most part. Despite this however always had a strong attuned to his spiritual side however as when he visited his mother during her work days he'd always feel uneasy and even see spirits in broad day light on occasion. It was an odd experience to say the least and he'd never tell anyone about it. He passed middle school and high school with high grades and notable regards for athletic talents. However he was one of the least popular kids in his school due to his tendency to be dull and boring to other more energetic kids. Undaunted he decided that he'd go into life with his head looking forward but decided college wasn't for him. Deciding that life wasn't for him in the United States Anton decided to migrate around the world in order to find more answers on why his life wasn't like other people.

However before going to Japan Anton used money given to him by his mother to travel to Ireland to learn about the ancient celt people there for a few months. He learned nothing of value there but he grew a respect for the Irish's hard history and met a couple of new friends or at least as close to friends as Anton would likely ever meet. He then traveled to Rome in order to find out more about Christianity. He did not know much Italian so he was forced to get by on a translation book. He came to understand more about himself as a person by learning of the struggles of people like Julius Caesar and the popes of the papacy. He spent more time in Italy and even started to learn the language before he decided that it was time to go to Japan. Arriving in Japan Anton felt that he still had a long way to go and decided he'd stick around as a garbage man, allowing him to work around his modest knowledge of the Japanese language, and allow him to find out more about the Japanese peoples' cultures, religions, and legends.[/spacer]

@VanceXentan When I first made the CS, I apparently "broke" some of the coding. I took the liberty of fixing it real quick; it was just a series of centered lines that were off. I also fixed this problem in the character sheet template. I don't mean to offend if I did. lol There are two vital issues with the character, however. First, I ultimately went back and changed the roleplay to basically replicate my last one because we had no traffic beforehand. This means that the roleplay takes place in the fictional city of Kuchikiroka, Japan... Anton is all the way in the United States. Secondly, the characters are actually meant to 'undergo' the process of becoming a Spirit Detective; I even explained said process in the OP, as it's slightly easier now.

In my old history he had already moved to Japan in order to continue his work somewhere else. In this one I changed it so that he is no longer a spirit detective nor does he have any history with them and he is just there to find answers about himself a soul quest if you will.

I'm not gonna be terribly nit-picky here. The history will work, and his personality is fine. What I would have liked to have seen, maybe, is a better reason to go to Japan specifically. I don't really feel any urgency there. It feels like, as a writer, you just put it there to be for the RP, not really there to allow Anton to make sense. Maybe, he has some Japanese ancestry on his mother's side? ie, maybe his mother used to tell him ghost stories passed down from their family, and he's visiting them to see if they can help him with what he sees and feels?

Also, this might just be me, but you wrote a little bit about how he skipped out on college, and that's fine. I was actually thinking you could say he tried to attend college where he couldn't make it by, and maybe write the fact out that he couldn't make it in American academia while also somewhat explaining his spiritual visions and his desire to embrace the supernatural? These are really minor tweaks imo, but I think they'd do a world of wonders in making the character make more sense to me.

Not everything needs to be grand and have a reason. Anton just chose to leave the united states to go to a country that is more spiritual to find more out about himself as a person. It's not to embrace his spirituality so much as it is just another part on his life's journey. He is not a very whimsical man by any means and wouldn't just go to a haunted area just because he heard about it. Japan is just one of his stops on the way to other places. After Japan he intends to go to China, and India as well to figure out just how things could be. It just happens Japan will be a place where he himself ends up in this whole ordeal.

What I meant by 'skipping out of college' is that he voluntarily chose not to go as he saw it as something he wasn't interested in. Anton isn't meant to be someone with a lot of history. He's a relatively simple man with not much to him.

I do feel that simplicity. I guess you could say I'm not a fan of raw coincidence, but you do have to forgive me. :P I live in a world where I have to create every little thing to follow a strict pattern of logic and tone so that the entire roleplay will be consistent and make sense. >.< Not everyone has to be like that, I know, but jumping between simple coincidence and complex planning can be difficult. As I said, Anton is acceptable. If he's visiting multiple places, though, could you be so kind to have at least added one stop between America and Japan? I don't really care where, honestly, but it would make me feel significantly better if he had at least one stop while he sojourned as a spiritual vagabond seeking to understand what he does not. >.< You don't even have to flesh it out - Hell, I don't even care if you tell us where. All you have to do is agree to it, and maybe later one while there is character development you can decide where Anton went and what he did to suit the RP and make things interesting. I'm basically offering a free card to go back and edit your character post-acceptance through the IC.

Alright Italy it is then.

Hey Prince. I saw the template. I was just going to let you know that I haven't drawn up pictures of my Yu Yu Hakasho OCs yet. So I can give the descrptions but I can't give a picture just yet if that's alright. I'll have to draw them first. As a matter of fact I thought up another OC for YuYu Hakasho just the other day when I was talking to you. And another one just now. lol ^^

I'll probably only post three of them into this RP though. Cause even though I have five Yu Yu Hakasho OCs, I've only come up with scene plays for 3 of them. And ironicly 2 of the 3 OCs that I've come up with scene plays for are the 2 newer ones I came up with the other day and today.

Jessica, I'm not going to lie to you here, I don't fully follow what you mean when yous say you've come up with scene plays. I'm familiar with drama, theatre, various performance arts and a vast array of literary arts, but I'm not quite for sure what you're referencing. I might also be overthinking it here.

Also, if you're going to have multiple Original Characters, I would suggest choosing a primary one. As the adventures do go on, I can't assure you that several Original Characters will make it into every arc, so I would like to have one a staple.

The only conflict is if you so choose to have a Spirit Detective Character that was part of a Tantei-Duo. I really need those pairs to stick together to some degree, since they'll be a very important forward plot element. Hands, however, can be just as powerful with no inhibitions and may also have demonic heritage.

Hmm..Well I mean I can do a lot of posts now with those specific three yu yu hakasho OCs of mine and I can follow them into the storyline easily, as opposed to the other two yu yu hakasho OCs where I'd have to think up posts for them and it'd probably take me a long time to think posts up for them. Basically I can RP those three Yu Yu hakasho OCs of mine more easily than I can the other two and I wouldn't fall behind in the rp while trying to think up posts.

Alright, here's the thing: it doesn't matter which of your five OC's you can RP better, the roleplay was meant to be a small group of characters and having several later will complicate things. I've also taken the liberty of looking at your regular posting style in the only other roleplay you've been active in and I would prefer, quite sternly actually, you focus on a single character with multiple paragraph posts (2-3) as opposed to single posting from multiple OC's in a single post. Lengthening a post via adding more characters doesn't enhance it.

In the simplest notion I can think of it, there is a social mechanic that will ultimately exist in the group and adding on a multitude of characters as you're suggesting won't work well with that. If you're going to insist on it, I'm going to ask you cease your pursuit of this RP.

Okay. So you want to just choose one of my Yu Yu Hakasho OCs.
You mentioned it in your previous post to me and if that's what you want then it is fine. I can choose one of them. And I already have the OC in mind that I really want to do.
You just asked me to explain what I meant by scene plays in my previous post. And so I tried to explain it the best way I knew how to. I didn't mean to annoy you and I'm sorry if the way I explained it did.

But yeah. The picture of the OC I'm going to RP isn't going to be entered right away as I haven't drawn a pic of him yet.
But I'll enter in everything else about him.

Any idea why the other two aren't here yet?

Male / 10yrs / Student

Yuudai Kuwabara is naturally curious as every child is in a sense, but has a calmer nature than most kids his age. For example, Yuudai doesn't jump as quick at things that would make every other 10 yr old child or younger child curious to an aggressive level. Instead Yuudai most of the time tries to keep his head on straight, and if something does make him wonder, while, like every other kid his age or younger, he would pursue it with a passion, Yuudai wouldn't look for an off the wall answer to come out of nowhere, but instead he would look at what's in front of him to work with in order to find the answer which would sometimes work and other times the truth would just end up being unknown.

He's kind most all the time but is very protective to his family members and friends and doesn't take to well at all to people bullying and/or saying hurtful things about them, nor does he take to well to it if it happens on the street. due to this Yuudai wants to get strong enough to where he can protect his loved ones and friends, and even just random passersby that are in some kind of trouble at the time Yuudai runs across them. And Yuudai will take as much action as he needs to on any given basis to assure the safety of his family members, his friends, or others he runs into at any random time that look as if they need help in anyway.

Yuudai is very loyal and respects most anyone.

Yuudai Kuwabara is the youngest in his family, his sister Shizuru Kuwabara being 20 something years older than him and his brother Kazuma Kuwabara 14 years older than him. While his older sister and older brother lived with their mom after their dad split when Yuudai's sister and brother were still very very young, and then later on his brother and sister ending up living in just each other's company, Yuudai lived with his and his brother and sister's father. Yuudai's father had him in a later marriage while his father's new relationship with his second wife was still early. It turned out Yuudai's mother had several past affiliations that made Yuudai's father concerned for his younger son, being that one of the affiliations Yuudai's mother was involved with was an undercover spy network, so Yuudai's parents' relationship got rocky over Yuudai's early childhood years, as the missions his mom was assigned became more and more dangerous.

After Yuudai's father left Yuudai's mom when Yuudai was 9, Yuudai went with his father, seeing as how his mother's work was way to dangerous to raise a child up in, and moved across town from his home town, now being in a town that resides just outside Kuchikiroka, Japan, a town called Tanzikalec. He of course transfered to the elementary school in the town, and then Yuudai enrolled in Piano and Art as extracurricular activities, for after school. He also developed an interest in law, as there was a courthouse next to his new school, and he would go there to wait for his father on days when his father was going to be late picking him up, the Tanzikalec Elementary school being one of those that let out promptly on time, every day, and the fact that his extracuricullar lessons, due to his father not wanting them to interfere with Yuudai's schooling, his piano being on fridays and his art lessons being on the weekends. While at the courthouse, Yuudai ended up meeting the DA while waiting for his father. Sense then the two of them had made friends with one another and the DA would get him refreshments or whatever while Yuudai waited for his father on those days, in between trials on cases, up till the time when Yuudai's father came to get him. And sometimes while waiting for his father, if given the okay by the judge, Yuudai even got to sit in on some of the cases that his DA friend prosecuted.

Yuudai's however senses things around him some of the time, but when he goes to look for whatever he's sensing at the time, there will be nothing there. Yet, even though he's not able to see what he senses, he'll always see the aftermath of the actions taken by the unknown source to what Yuudai's senses are alerting him to. He doesn't yet understand just what's going on, but he knows if it keeps happening that eventually someone is bound to get hurt by the after affects. Yuudai nowadays, due to this, sharpens his focus and concentration whenever these particular feelings come over him, whether they come over him while he's in class at school, in his after school activities art or piano lessons, or in the courthouse while sitting in on the case trials his DA friend prosecutes, or waiting on the bench in the hallway for his DA friend on the days he doesn't get permission from the judge to watch the trial inside the courtroom.
