Haru Fujimoto

profile_picture_by_vocaloidch_vy2-d63w9o5.jpg

Haruhi sat at her school desk, carefully taking notes like a good student while her legs were crossed under the desk. She quickly looked over at the time, waiting for the moment when school would be over and she could leave. She didn’t hate school. In fact, she enjoyed it when she was spending time with friends. However, she didn’t like how many of the teachers acted, and all the rules were really annoying. It sucked she had to hide a lot of her true self as well. And, she couldn’t be with her other friends until after school.

Her other friends…

She sighed. She would have to head home first, and then sneak out of her window after she changed her look before she went to the abandoned house. There, she would most likely find her other gang members meeting up as they always did later in the day.

The bell finally rang, and school was over. Haru placed her things away into her bag and stood up. She watched as others were doing the same thing and heading out to do whatever they were about to do.

Usually, she ended up late to the house, while most of the others were there. She couldn’t help that though, it was just the way it was with school and changing her clothes. After all, she had to pretend to be a guy when she was with her gang members. Luckily, they excused her lateness, usually they assumed it was simply because of school. Some of them were also in high school, while others were already out of school.

Haru headed out of the classroom and started to make her way towards the main entrance to leave.

Name: Jun Hoshigami
Nickname: Jun or Chief
Location:Home -> Cafe -> Gang hideout
interactions: N/a

It was a normal day like any other as Jun awoke to his alarm clock going off in his ear before he would use his hand to reach over and turn it off. Getting out of bed it was a bright morning with sunlight peaking through the widows. Jun slowly started to get ready, taking a shower before throwing on some clothes as he got ready for his morning job. Since the boss was still a student the gang members needed something to do during the weekdays daytime. So to make some extra cash and improve his skills Jun had begun working at a breakfast cafe to occupy his mornings. Most of the gang if not all knew that he worked there and would occasional stop by for food as they were sure Jun would serve them larger portions. He didn't mind having a day job, but he didn't like keeping his manners in check when people would be rude to him or others of the staff.

Right around mid afternoon Jun would be done with his shift and start to make his way to the Gang's hideout, It was a short drive away but having a car was too valuable to leave behind. He also enjoyed driving, something about the power and speed of a car gets him excited when he is behind the wheel. Once he arrived he would enter and see a few of the other members there, mostly the ones who didn't have any place to stay or just didn't want to leave. With a quick wave to some of them he soon found himself sitting in his usually spot, behind the makeshift bar they had, serving drinks and food to whomever wanted something. When he was done serving the others he took a bottle of Whiskey and made himself a drink before sitting down and relaxing himself. Now would be the time they simply waited for the rest to show up.

Name: Law Marumaki or L
Interactions: Jun (@Shitsuji-Carty)
Location(s): Home > School > Gang Hideout

Law awoke that morning to the greeting of a cat laying on his face. Sitting the cat in his lap he rubbed the back of his neck with his left hand. Getting up he poured a cup of cat food in the cat bowl next to his door. Going to the bathroom he took a shower, his muscles ached cause he got into a fight the prior night the cool water felt refreshing as it ran down his body. By the time he was out the cat had finished eating, going to the kitchen Law started to prepare breakfast and lunch for his sisters. He always made them a creative lunch very motherly in a sense. Finishing up he left the breakfast on the table with a note letting them know he'd be out and that their lunches were in the fridge.

He was at his new school making sure that all the papers were in order, but it wasn't the day he was supposed to transfer. Getting all of that settle Law decided to go to the gang spot. By the time he got there he was later than most but the captain still wasn't there. Walking around he somehow found his way over to chief, they talked whenever they happened to see each other but didn't go out of their way to go talk to each other. Not that they had beef or anything, it was more like whatever.

"Hey chief, what's up" he said taking a seat next to the older man cracking his knuckles with his thumbs.

Nickname: Jun or Chief

Location: Gang hideout

Jun had finished pouring his drink and taken a seat a the bar when Law Marumaki had arrived. He was another member of the gang who loved to fight and test his mettle. Chief liked to see that in the others members it meant that they were likely trying to get stronger for some goal they held dear. But back to Law, he was the gangs resident tattoo artist and a good one at that. Another high school similar to the boss in that aspect but Jun never really asked much about their high school lives.

Bringing him back to reality with a quick greeting from Law, Jun responded after a sip from his drink " oh L, welcome back....you want anything to help you relax? A little buzz can takes all your aches away." he said with a smirk as he looked at Law. He then stood up and walked to the other side of the bar, facing L this time. He grabbed a glass and quickly started to wipe it down in preparation for whatever he may want. Most of the stuff displayed behind the bar was booze, but underneath it was a different story. There were juices and some soda for when people didn't feel like drinking as well as bottled water for when people drank too much. Jun did his best to keep their supplies stocked as some members didn't always have another place else to eat or drink. As he waited for Law to pick what he wanted, Jun started to wonder when the rest of the gang would show up.

Haruhi passed by other classmates, waving to a few who she knew fairly well in school though tried her best to make her way out instead of getting stuck talking to anyone she really didn't feel like talking to. She wanted to get to the hideout as soon as possible. It was were she felt the most comfortable.

She finally left the school and headed home. She usually walked home nowadays, but when she was younger and for a long while, her family would send a car to and from school to take her and bring her back. It took forever, but eventually Haru convinced them to let her walk. She used the fact that it was exercise to walk. Really, she just hated the limo that was always so embarrassing.

She walked home and quickly rushed to her room. There, she changed her clothes into her older brothers old clothing he didn't fit anymore. Then, she put her wig and contacts on. She had picked a pink wig in case some of her hair peaks out. In the past she wanted to just cut her hair, but her parents wouldn't let her and thus it stayed as a wig.

Once she was changed, she went out her window and started to make her way to the gangs hideout. The maids always made sure that her parents didn't know she was out.

She arrived at the hideout, pushing the door open with a smile on her face.

"Honey! I'm home," she shouted out, her voice deeper to make her sound like a guy. A few of them had already arrived, like Jun, her second in command and Law, who was exactly what his name was for the gang. She headed over to the two of them.

"Boy, have I missed your faces. What's up?" She always liked to tease her gang members. They would be used to it by now.

Law watched a Jun walked around to the back of the bar. He tried alcohol once but never really liked it. He unzipped his dark blue hoodie vest slightly, and rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt past his elbows before leaning them on the bar. "Can't say I have much of a taste for alcohol" he responded. Sighing he took his hat off, "Man! I start at a new school tomorrow this is gonna suck" he said sort of sarcastically, he was always good in school he just disliked going.

Looking over to the entrance Law saw the captain was back, he chuckled a bit at his remark. Turning back to chief, "I'll take a bottle of creme soda if we still have any" he responded glancing back to the sight of the boss coming towards them. "Hey boss, what's up?" Law asked casually with a smirk.

Jun watched from behind the bar as Law thought about his question for a second before refusing the booze he offered. The younger man then started to complain, saying he wasn't looking forward to going to a new school in the coming days. it simply made Jun chuckle as he recalled his school days full of nothing but him slacking off and goofing around. " ha there are worse things than school." he would say to law. The base seemed rather quiet for the day until Haru arrived for the day with one of his typical silly greetings. Jun wasn't really sure why Haru enjoyed these types of things but he wasn't one to let himself get bothered by these small things. It didn't seem like they had anything planned for the day, but that could always change on one of the boss's whims.

Haru came in his normal way, greeting everyone with a joke as well as a sigh of relief as he seemed glad to be among his people again. It seemed that Haru didn't really enjoy school all that much, in Jun's opinion, or maybe that was just all gang students. Law seemed to feel the same way as well, but he then ordered a cream soda before greeting the boss. Jun would duck under the counter for a second to grab Law a bottle before handing it to him. He would then look towards Haru and speak to him. "Always nice to see your dazzling face as well boss, can i get you anything? food or a drink?" he would ask before starting to polish another glass for use. Jun seemed to perk up a little more once Haru was around, wanting to be ready for any orders or anything else Haru may have wanted.

Haru let out a chuckle towards his friends along with a toothy smile. "School took forever to end. It was killing me just waiting for when that bell would ring," Haru stated as she took a seat on one of the bar stools and placed one of her elbows onto the table, and her hand against her cheek as she looked over at the two of them.

"Just some water would be fine, Jun," Haru replied after Chief asked if she wanted anything. "Gotta keep this body healthy if I want to continue to rule this city." Their gang had quite a bit of power over the city they lived in. They had already been that way before Haru became the leader, but she had kept that strength and gained more over time.

She was strong and a good fighter, so most were afraid to even defy what she wanted especially those who weren't in her gang. Though, she was pretty easy going to the people in the gang along with her. She yawned a bit. She didn't have anything planned for today and there didn't seem to be anything they needed to focus on either. They hadn't had anyone try to rise against them in a while and the police were being pretty quiet as well for now.

"Looks like today's just gonna be a hang out day. Unless any of you want to head out and see what kind of fun we can get into."

Name: Ryu Senri
Nickname: Kage (Shadow)
Location: Juvenile Correctional Facility -> Small Village -> Gang hideout
interactions: Jun @Shitsuji-Carty , Law @Sasha Bliss , Haru @ScarletNova

There had been a mix of anxiousness and excitement as Ryu sat in his cell, the air inside the facility somewhat dreary despite the crisp breeze outside. It had been a long wait but finally as Ryu had woken that morning, his time had come. Having completed his morning routine of getting up, washing his face and walking in line out to breakfast, scoffing the small bowl of soup and returning to his cell, Ryu now sat awaiting the return of the guard on duty to give him the news he had been waiting for.

It was a long wait indeed but just as Ryu had grown somewhat accustomed to counting the dark grey speckles of dirt on the pale blue linoleum floor the echo of footsteps interrupted him, the clear sound of the guard’s voice prompting a jolt of nervousness down his spine.

“Time to go,” was all the guard had grunted as he unbolted the cell door, swinging it open as Ryu stood up, still dressed in the dark green inmate uniform and slippers they were all issued with. He couldn’t remember the clothes he had come in with and wondered if they still fit considering it had been four long years. There was no objection to the instruction by Ryu who walked out of the cell and in front of the guard to the administration wing of the facility. The other inmates, some of which he had become friends with were all out to classes and the work wings for the day and as such the walk was shrouded in silence, vacant of farewells or the usual hollering of inmates left behind.

The process to be released was much shorter than Ryu had expected. Having arrived at the administration building the guard stood beside him as the booking officers pulled his personal effects from a small locker and slid paperwork out for Ryu to sign. His clothes were presented to him, a half decent pair of black motorbike boots, clean white singlet, a pair of jeans and his favourite biking jacket. Directed to a small holding room, Ryu changed into the clothes before walking back to the booking officer and handing over his correctional uniform. It was by some small miracle that his old clothes still fit him, somewhat looser since he had lost weight and just long enough to not be an issue. As he signed for his personal effects he shoved his wallet into his pocket, thankfully still having enough cash to tide him over for a night. He had a simple chain necklace which he put on, feeling a little less like an inmate already. Another few minutes of paperwork and signatures and Ryu was marched out of the facility, soon left standing alone in the carpark with his hands tucked into the pockets of his jacket and a pair of shades which concealed the stony glare of his eyes. The simple truth was that he was finally back into society and no one was there to greet him. His jaw tightened as memories of the day he’d been arrested flashed through his mind, his father slapping him sharply and the words he had scolded Ryu with. He had lost his family a long time ago and there had been plenty of time to think about that day but it was only now as Ryu stared at the empty carpark that reality had hit him.

Heaving a long sigh Ryu’s hands slipped down to his sides and he stepped off from the pavement, walking away from the correctional facility in the direction of the local village. It took him a good hour to get into the town centre and by the time he had arrived the village was bustling with the lunchtime rush. Stopping at a local payphone Ryu took a few minutes to try and call the one person he knew he could rely on. He knew if needed Kenji would be able to help him get back on his feet, the leader he had held such respect for since meeting him and joining the gang. But to his dismay the phone had rung out and after trying an alternative number he had to hedge his bets on travelling to the clubhouse. He hoped to hell the place was still there, figuring that was no doubt where Kenji would be.

Heading to the local bus depot Ryu purchased a ticket for Nakasaki, taking a seat on the first bus awaiting departure. He was absolutely dying for a cigarette but his desire to get to somewhere and someone familiar overrode his want for a smoke. Instead he waited a little while longer before the bus departed, travelling to Nakasaki.

***Some hours later***

Most of the place around the clubhouse had not changed with exceptions for a few buildings which had been built over the time he had been away. It was a relief however when Ryu finally reached the clubhouse and it was still there in all its glory, small sounds coming from within which told him it was definitely still in use. For a moment he tried to imagine what he would say and who would be there to speak to but soon he pushed the ‘what ifs’ from his mind and jogged up the steps, not bothering to knock and wait for someone to open the door for him.

Bursting through the door with purpose Ryu walked in to where Jun, Law and Haru were surrounding the bar, his left hand pushing his shades up from his eyes to the top of his head as he expectantly looked between them and searched for his leader, unaware of the change.

“Where is Kenji?” He simply announced, not bothering to introduce himself to someone who wouldn’t have known who he was nor say hello to those that did. He had struggled enough with thinking on what he was going to do once he had been released and suddenly he was here, dealing with it and the change which had occurred.

Haru seemed to chuckle at Jun's comment, before going on to say how much he dreaded waiting for the school bell to end. he even seemed to put on a bored expression as he put one of his elbow's down on the bar to prop his head up. Quickly reaching for some bottled water, Jun filled the glass with some ice before filling it with water and sliding it to Haru. Smirking at his comment about staying healthy Jun started to speak again "heh you can always skip class and come have fun with me...hmpf you don't need to stay healthy if you can already beat everyone with one hand tied behind your back." he said as he sipped from his drink as well. It was a quiet day so far, nothing out of the ordinary happening, even Haru felt the same way saying i could just be a hang out day. Jun didn't mind having a lazy day, but it seemed like they had fallen into a rut and haven't done anything in a while, and right as Jun was about to speak, someone threw open the door and walked right into the mix of them. At first people were a little confused but soon realized the person was an older member who had been away some time.

Jun recognized the man as Kage, or Shadow as he liked to be called, he had been away in Jail for a few years and today must have been the day he was released. Jun wondered if he had anyone to pick him up or if he just made his way here on his own, but it seemed like the man was more concerned with where the old leader Kenji was. Seeing the confused look on his face Jun gave him a wave and motioned him to come closer to them. " oi Kage, long time no see, How was daycare? Did you get the news of the change while you were in there?" he would ask referring to the prison as a child care facility. Humor was his usual way to try and defuse some tension, but at the same time people might not take it that way he did. Jun felt like doing something with his time but without the okay of Haru he would have to wait to get his idea out.

"Tied behind my back? Huh, that might be pretty fun Jun. Wanna try me?" Haru teased just before someone busted through the front door.

Haru was slightly surprised by the arrival of someone she didn't recognize. She about to get up, just in case she needed to defend their turf. However, Haru didn't feel any malice from him, and she was aware that not many other people outside of the gang know this placed was used as their hideout. Plus, he just asked where Kenji was. Kenji was the previous leader.

From the information Jun said out loud, Haru realized that this man was gone for a while and must have been in the gang when Kenji was still the leader. Haru thought about it for a moment, then started to remember a few things that Kenji told her.

"Oh, you must be that one member that Kenji mentioned who was in jail for a while. He said you'd probably come back after a while and look for him. But, Kenji retired now, probably off doing whatever he wants really. He left me in charge. I'm the new boss in town now. Name's Haru," she commented as she stood up again to introduce herself.

Most likely, she looked pretty odd to him considering he would be used to Kenji as their leader. A new leader while he was away at jail would probably be pretty strange and rough to deal with. Plus, Haru looked a lot different than Kenji. She was technically a female, even though they didn't know about it. So, she looked like less of a threat and while she was tall for a girl, she was still a lot shorter than most of the men she was around right now. Though, it would be foolish to misjudge her strength.

In the initial moments of arriving Ryu had spotted Jun, glad to see at least one familiar face among those present. Another guy who had yet to speak sat to the side of him opposite the bar and Ryu didn’t recognise him, the other somewhat familiar though he struggled to recognise who he was. The effect of having been away for so long had left an anxious feeling in his gut, reminding him that he had been far out of the loop for most of his sentence. Jun motioned for him to draw closer as he added a joke about the correctional facility, the effect falling far short of Ryu as he did not move, instead staring as he waited for Kenji to appear.

The male he had potentially seen at one time or another prior to having been sent to prison stood up again, reintroducing himself as Haru as Ryu looked him up and down. His jaw tensed as Haru explained that Kenji had retired and left Haru in charge. The notion that Kenji had left the gang and not bothered to send word sent a pang of anger through Ryu and he shook his head as he let out a cynical laugh.

“Bullshit...” Ryu replied as he looked between Haru, Jun and the unfamiliar male. He instantly felt screwed, was his own position in the gang still relevant? If not then he had absolutely no where to go. He took a step back as his brow furrowed, his expression darkening as Ryu fought inwardly to understand why Kenji would leave the gang in the hands of someone who had not been around for long let alone the short ass standing in front of him. How in the hell could he come home to a gang with a leader he didn’t know or respect? Surely someone like Jun who had been in for just as long as he had been was a more suitable choice as leader.

With things instantly turning into a heap of shit, Ryu considered his position in the moment, ready to fight if necessary though he had no idea how this supposed new leader worked.

Law had been sipping at his drink for sometime he had never met Ryu but he heard stories. Turning in his chair to fully face the senior member, he shoved his hands in his pockets, as he listened to the conversation, by how it was going it seemed there was going to be a fight. "Here, let me try boss" Law got up out of his chair his hands still in his pockets, he gave off no sense that he was going to attack. "I know how weird it can be you leave, and come back to nothing that you remember" he said pausing for a moment, putting his hand on Ryu's shoulder. "Think about it Kenji the man you trusted the most put him in charge" Law pointed to Haru "Wouldn't that make him a pretty trustworthy guy" he put both of his hands down before putting one forward for a handshake. "The name's Law, nice to meet'cha"

"Thank you! Make sure to come again sometime!"

Hotaru grinned brightly at the cashier waving her out with a bright smile of his own. She skipped out of the convenient store, reaching for one of her pork buns as soon as the doors slid shut. She wasted no time biting into one, humming appreciatively as the food warmed her mouth, exploding over her taste buds. With her buns in her arms, the ginger began on her trek home.

Being by herself meant that her mind was allowed to wander, replaying the day's events in her mind. It didn't take long for her to get lost in her thoughts. She thought about the homework she had to do, and how she missed Haruhi after school. She thought about where Haruhi always headed off to. With her head in the clouds and munching absentmindedly, she didn't realize the, frankly, shady group in front of her. So she was quite surprised when she bumped into one of them, letting out a small 'oof'.

The man she bumped into turned around to face her, scowl clear as day on his face. "You got something to say? Huh?" She was frozen, feet rooted to the ground. Words seem to be failing her for once as she continued at the man looming over her. His buddies were starting to take notice. This was not good. "I asked you a question," the man growled, leaning in closer.

"N-No. I-I'm sorry for, uh, bumping i-into you," Hotaru finally started, hoping they'd accept her apology.

"I think I deserve something." The smirk that she man was sporting sent shivers down Hotaru's spine. "How about one of your pork buns?"

At the mention of her food, the ginger clutched her bag closer to her, shaking her head vehemently. "I can't give you one. I refuse to." That answer only seemed to anger the man as his smirk returned to the earlier scowl, but deeper. I'm going to die because I wanted to save my food. What a way to go, she thought.

"I don't want to have to get violent with a young lady like yourself. But I will if I need to," the man threatened. Unbeknownst to him, Hotaru wasn't as helpless as she looked. As he looked ready to swing a punch at her, the shorter girl aimed a hard kick at his shin, making him crumble to his knees. Before anyone had time to react, she was bolting past the group, trying to get as far away as possible. She ran, and ran, fishing her phone out of her pocket as she did so. She was glad that she had her Haruhi on speed dial, calling her immediately. Hotaru could only hope and pray that she'd pick up soon.

Haru wasn't surprised when Ryu didn't believe her. She could understand how hard it might be for him, who had been away for a while, and then come back to what most likely was the only thing he considered home, and that home had changed drastically. First, Haru gave Law a chance to talk with him. Hopefully, seeing that he was still welcome by them would help him feel a bit better.

Haru gave him a smile. "Ryu, right? Look, I know this is gonna be weird. Kenji was a much better leader than I can ever be. He gave me a home when I didn't have one. I'm sure he did the same for you. And, while everything else may have changed, that hasn't. You still have a home here. You still have a family, so come join us and at least give us a chance. If you don't like being around here anymore, you can do whatever you want."

"I'm sure if Kenji could have told you about this he would have, but...I mean...a gang leader contacting juvie, doesn't sound like that would have been a good idea, you know."

At that moment she felt her phone vibrating in her pocket. She took a quick glance to see who it was. Hotaru. She could never ignore a call from that girl. "I gotta take this. Jun, why don't you cook up a welcome home meal for this man," she commented then disappeared into her personal room that no one could enter unless they knocked and she let them in. She closed the door and made sure no one could hear.

"Hotaru? What's up?" Haruhi's voice wasn't as deep as she spoke to the girl on the phone.

The expression on Ryu’s face had not changed as the unknown male nearest to him exclaimed to Haru that he would ‘try,” standing and approaching Ryu. Though he seemed quite relaxed and causal about it, Ryu had not eased his attitude in the slightest, a behaviour which had ensured his survival for a long time. However as the gang member placed his hand on Ryu’s shoulder he spoke reasonably, relating to Ryu’s position rather than add further insult. He was right in the fact that Kenji would have had a firm reason to appoint Haru as the new leader though he was not the kind of person who would just throw respect to someone because it was implied that it should be done. In Ryu’s eyes there was little known about Haru and while he would have to gain ground while back in the gang, he expected this new leader to earn his.

Ryu looked back from over the guy’s shoulder who introduced himself as Law, holding out his hand as Ryu glanced down at the offered hand before reluctantly accepting it, firmly shaking Law’s hand.

“Ryu.” He replied as he let go of Law’s hand and looked back to Haru who raised a smile. It seemed to put Ryu at ease as Haru began to clarify that he was still welcome to the place he had once called home. His shoulders dropped as he felt the weight and worry leave him, the idea of still having somewhere to lay his head a hell of a relief. He nodded in silence as Haru finished speaking, giving him the choice to remain or go as he pleased. There was no comment he could offer in reply to the point of Kenji not ringing the correctional facility, after all he had to agree that it would have made sense to keep a distance to protect the rest of the gang members from investigations. Instead he stepped forward, taking up a seat beside Haru and Law at the bar, nodding to Jun.

“I remember you can cook a mean meal,” he uttered whilst Haru stepped away to take a call on his phone.

After Jun's joke didn't get much of a reaction out of Kage, he started to keep quiet as the scene unfolded in front of him. Kage was not aware of the change in leadership and seemed a little more than confused as Law went up to him and introduced himself. Jun was curious to see how he would react to this, but to his surprise Kage shook the man's hand and introduced himself as well, well he said his name at least. It was then Haru started a long winded explanation of what had happened and how things were gonna play out, as well as his status in all of it, He welcomed Kage to stay. Jun was relived when Kage decided to stay and take a seat at the bar, nodding to Jun before he and Haru made a quick comment to him about getting some food. With a smirk on his face Jun put down another glass in front of Kage before filling it with some water " heh if you can still remember one of my old meals, just wait until you taste my improved skills." he said before rounding the corner of the bar and heading into the small Kitchen they had.

It always made Jun happy when some of the other members would ask for something to eat, he enjoyed cooking for them as he knew that he was helping them even after they would leave the hideout. He quickly turned on one of the burners and started to saute some food in a pan, the smell of it soon flowing out from the kitchen. After a short wait Jun would return with a plate full of stir fried rice, green peppers, bacon bits, scrambled eggs and some chicken with choice of a few different sauces to add. With a smile on his face he would place it in front of Kage "Eat up, looks like they didn't feed you too well in there." he would say thinking Kage looked smaller than he used to. Once Kage had his food and started eating Jun would refil his glass as he wondered who could have called Haru that was too important to miss? Were they going to get some action today after all? he questioned himself inside his head.

Hotaru couldn't help her cry of relief when she heard Haruhi's voice on the other end. Slowing down slightly, the ginger took a glance behind her. None of the members seemed to be following her, but she was certain that they'd be on their way soon enough. Breathing heavily, she stopped so that she could catch her breath. Getting her regular breathing pattern, the teen finally responded to Haruhi's question.

"Haruhi, I need your help!" she exclaimed into the phone. "I was on my way home from the convenient store when I accidentally bumped into this group of shady guys. I think they were apart of a gang—Anyways, I kicked one of them cause he wanted my food, and now I'm on the run."

"There she is! Get her!"

Hotaru squealed before taking off once more, pressing the phone up against her ear as she panted into it. "They're chasing me! Could you send help? I'm... uh...," she trailed off as she tried to look for a street sign to see where she was. "I'm on Tsukki Street!" She heard another shout from behind her and picked up speed. "Hurry!"

Haruhi's eyes widen as she listened to her friend on the phone. "What?!" she said. "Kicking them?! Hotaru!" Haru could hear the sound of the men chasing her in the background, the shake of the phone, and then Hotaru's voice again as she cried for help and told her where she was located.

"Just keep running from them Hotaru! I'll get help,"
she muttered and hung up the phone. She couldn't stay on the phone and get there as fast as she could in this situation. She left the room in a hurry to see that Ryu had calmed and was waiting for food from Jun.

"I gotta go...a friend of a friend is in trouble with those damn punks. Tsukki street, if you want to beat up some annoying pathetic runts, that's where you'll find them."

Haru was pissed. That was obvious and the 'man' was already out the door just as she finished talking. She ran as fast as she could, taking a short cut by jumping over fences, walls and private property. She knew she was getting closer when she heard the sound of the same voices she heard on the phone. All that was in the way was one more tall fence.

Running with full speed, Haru jumped over the last fence and landed in between Hotaru and the rival gang's members chasing her.

"If this is how you try to get a woman, you'll never even make it to a first date!"
Haru stated as she straightened herself up after landing. "Get lost before I make your ugly faces worse." While Haru wasn't going to beat these boys in front of Hotaru unless they forced her, Hotaru was Haruhi's best friend and Haru really hoped that her members would do her a favor and teach this idiots a lesson once Haru got Hotaru away.

He had just started to get comfortable again after serving Kage some food, when Haru had left his room and started be lining for the door. He said that a friend of his was in trouble off of some street, and there were some thugs looking to take a beating. That was all Jun needed to hear as he quickly grabbed his blade that was behind the bar and vaulted it before heading out the door after Haru. Following him to the street where Hotaru was being chased. There was a large fence in the way though, Haru simply went over to land in between her friend and the thugs. Jun decided to find another way around to stop the thugs from escaping if they were to try.

Soon finding himself at the other end of the alley way, he was now behind the thugs after Haru had said what he wanted to them. Jun would chuckle under his breath as he thought to himself so, what are you gonna do boss? take the girl and run, or stay and fight with me? he thought to himself as he took a deep breath and held his sword at his hip in case someone came at him. With a quick wave to Haru signaling he was ready to fight, he would continue to wait silently until Haru or the thugs made the first move, he didn't want to give away his element of surprise, while Haru had them all distracted. He was curious as to why their boss would go out of the way for one girl but he could always ask about it later.
