YOUR HERO ACADEMIA
Arc I: The Entrance Exam
It all began in Keikei City in China with the news that a bio-luminescent baby was born! After that, "Exceptional" individuals began popping up all over the world. Japan, United States, England, Brazil, and wherever else there was people. The cause for these appearances was unknown, but after some time "Exceptional" became the new norm. Fantasy became reality, and with 80 percent of the world having superpowers a brand new profession was created. Something that young kids had only dreamed about. Heroes! Jumping from the pages of comic books, films, and games alike, these masked and uniformed individuals inspired hope in people, and in the hearts of children everywhere. With many hoping for the same thing: "One day, I'll be just like them."

Of course nowhere was this more present than near Tokyo, Japan. Within Musutafu, a city not far from there, was one of the most prestigious hero training schools in not just the nation, but the entire world. U. A. High School! Where exceptional Pro Heroes teach, and where the number one hero, All Might, trained! For many aspiring Japanese kids U.A. was the place to go. Their hero program, and even their other courses, were something to be proud of. Which means it's no surprise that they get by far the most students attempting their entrance exams. Although this year proved to be a far more special year, with them accepting more hero course students thanks to the creation of a third Class. Something that the school has not given definite reasoning for as of yet.

Not too long ago the school had sent out their written exams to any hopeful middle school students to try out. Some would even end up going across the world. One of the stranger parts on the written exam was that a waiver was included. This was of course likely for the entrance exam in case they did make it to that point. After a few months the acceptance letters for many students began pouring in. Although most of them were the same blanket statement:

HELLO HOPEFUL FUTURE U.A. STUDENT! YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE WRITTEN U.A. EXAM AND ARE ALLOWED TO PASS INTO THE OFFICIAL ENTRANCE EXAM FOR U.A! YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ARRIVE AT U.A. AT 8:00 IN THE MORNING THE THIRD DAY OF NEXT MONTH FOR THE OFFICIAL BRIEFING ON WHAT THE EXAM WILL CONSIST OF. WE HOPE THAT YOU SHOW UP AND ARE EXCITED TO SEE YOU PARTICIPATE! BEST OF LUCK, U.A. STAFF

At 7:00 of the exam date hardly any students were present outside of the building. After all, they would need to be quite dedicated to get up before the doors even opened. Still there was some students already shown up and waiting. Some who had been given rides by people, and others, such as a fairly energetic blue haired kid wearing glasses, were just that much of a go-getter. The sparse students that had shown up were milling around outside, and some of them had started to talk with each other. It was a good chance to get to know some of their potential classmates, and some of their future rivals. Perhaps some of these people here would make it into the elusive 42 spots that U.A. had open to the public? All of them had already passed the bare minimum, by completing the written test, to even be considered today, and now they would need to be whittled down even further.

The gates to U.A. were open to any of the middle school students coming in, and some were already waiting around the entrance. Toward the front entrance crowded around one of the arches was a group of five students, most of whom were in a fairly animated conversation. There was a girl with silver hair covering one of her eyes who was holding her hands out in front of her, a boy with a wide v-like smile whose very eyes seemed to sparkle, a silent looking girl with long black hair, a kid with spiky red hair and extremely sharp teeth leaning against the arch, and an extremely energetic pink skinned girl with prominent horns adorning her head, ”Whaaaaat? Some students are showing up from completely different countries? That’s crazy Kiri!” She lightly punched the soldier of the grinning red-haired kid.

The silver-haired girl seemed a bit taken aback by the loud voice of the pink girl next to her. She let out a sigh and spoke, ”U.A. is a very well accomplished academy of learning. It only makes sense they desire to be received by the absolute best in the world. Those that would be worthy of their attention get brought in with some privileges.” The pink girl was scratching her head, and although he didn’t speak it the red-haired boy also surprised by the amount that she had spoken. The black-haired girl just nodded along with what she had said.

The blonde sparkly kid’s v-like smile seemed to widen even more. He put his hand to his chest and flipped his hair, ”Of course it would be attended by the best. After all I am going to ma-”

”Wow Yanagi! That’s the most I’ve heard you speak yet!” The blonde kid seemed to deflate slightly at having been suddenly interrupted, but the group was already moving on. The black-haired girl awkwardly tapped the blonde kid’s shoulder in a ‘there, there' motion.

Near the water fountain sitting on the edge was a ginger haired girl and a seemingly floating pair of clothes. Their conversation seemed focused entirely around strategy. Though it was a bit difficult with neither of them really knowing what they were going to be getting into. The ‘floating pair of clothes’ made extremely expressive motions even with only it being visible, ”I plan on hiding for most of the challenge! I don’t think they’ll throw anything at us to fight on the entrance exam already! The ginger-haired girl looked at her with a very unsure expression.

Standing not too far away from them was a girl with vine-like hair in a fairly calm conversation with a kid who had a very noticeable tail. They seemed to just be talking about the day's weather and other fairly tame topics. Finally closer to the doors was a blue hair kid wearing glasses, standing as straight as he possibly could, right nearby a girl who had some large headphones in that were clearly going full volume. She also had strange jacks that seemed to be hanging just below her headphones. Any one of them had the potential to be future students, and even more, future pro heroes!

"Wow! So this is U.A., live and in color?"

With gleaming eyes, both stretched to rival the size of the moon, a young girl gawked at the distinct angles of U.A. High's facade. It loomed above the school grounds, both daunting and awe-inspiring, as with it came all the images of hardships and incredible opportunities one would experience on their way to become a hero.

A real hero.

"It very much is."

A middle-aged woman smiled as she leered at the famous building from her seat at the front of the car. The pristinely polished black exterior of the expansive (and foreign) looking vehicle mirrored a bulbous interpretation of the prestigious school, the driver's hands tapping against the cream-coloured leather seats.

"Excited, Hajō?"

The girl who had remained petrified next to her aunt's car was clad in a billowing white dress, seamless and smooth fabric that, in spite of its youthful and innocent color, seemed too mature for the giddy teen who wore it. Her hair, a long mane cascading down her back, shimmered in the gentle sunlight. With balled fist and a smile stretching from one ear to the other, Hajō turned around and nodded.

"You bet!"

All the doubt and worries that had lined the process of applying at this very school had vanished, and excitement took its place, fueling Hajō's steps to be just a tad more urgent, a tad more springy, and perhaps a tad more clumsy as well. Her eyes scanned the yard that lead into the school's entrance, and now the amazement nearly bubbled out of the girl. Whenever her eyes peeled themselves from the spotless windows that made up the majority of U.A.'s towering structure, she soaked in the sight of students; people who looked so unique and amazing, ranging from unusual skin-tones, to peculiar horns and other such additional body-parts. Some looked confident enough to assume they were quite literally molded to be heroes (she made a mental note to become just like that) and some others looked so ridiculously mundane that Hajō felt relief and appreciation all at once, mixing into a sort of admiration in its own right.

Finally, her eyes stuck around when they met the darkened-sclera of a pink-haired girl who had just established her verbal dominance over another student. She waved a quick goodbye, already having crossed the yard halfway before the engine roared and drew a few looks from some rather poor-looking male students.

"Heya!"

She jogged over, bouncing like a pogo-stick, before coming to a sudden halt right in front of the pink-skinned girl and her fiery-looking friend with the sharp teeth. One hand rested inside her others in the small of her back, her digits intertwined firmly, as she rocked back and forth on her heels like a nervous fourth-grader about to ask for a cookie.

""You guys look SO cool! What are your Quirks? I'm Hajō! Hajō Yaoyūzū! Sorry? Ah, but really though, what are your Quirks? Sorry, I'm really excited!"

One disarming smile later, she tilted her head apologetically and nodded at the blonde student with the v-shaped mouth and the other two girls.

"It IS exciting, don't you agree? I think excitement is really, like, a hero thing! Sorry!"

A whirlwind of vague apologies and inquistive leans and blinks later, she finally paused, awaiting her (maybe) future classmates answers.

While the other students began to arrive at 7:00am, one girl was already there.

Emi wore a modest white blouse with a tan skirt, with a pink cardigan wrapped around her for warmth. Not terribly practical clothing for an exam but then she still had time before anything began. She mostly used that time to look at pictures of Osaka Castle, which she hoped to visit sometime in the near future. As other students began to turn up, Emi offered a friendly smile and a wave to new arrivals but was plainly shy and had a little bit of a hard time initiating conversation.

It didn't help that many of the students were visually striking. Emi ran a finger through her strands of blonde hair, aware the unusual color with her even more unusual golden eyes didn't stand out much compared to this crowd. So many of them looked so confident! Could she really compete with them? Could she pursue this dream? What if all of them were just better than her?

Swallowing down a bad case of the nerves, Emi fidgeted, tapped her foot and focused on her phone. She was near enough to the conversation of the main group to listen in, and she couldn't help the wistful expression on her face. Making friends so easily wasn't something she'd ever been very good at. They made it look so easy.

Hajo's appearance coincided with the arrival of an expected car and Emi swallowed a bit of relief that her wait would soon be over. When Hajo started talking a mile a minute, it was such a torrent of pent up energy that she couldn't help but stare in astonishment before bursting out laughing at the 'Sorry, I'm really excited!' remark. She immediately covered her mouth, blushed and looked deeply embarrassed at having made such a spectacle of herself.

"Hey Emi! Thanks for saving my spot!"

Grateful, she turned around to look at herself. The other Emi had turned up wearing a more practical long-sleeved black shirt tucked into a pair of shorts worn over dark leggings. "Anytime, Emi!" The two identical girls hugged each other before the one in the skirt sniffed the one in the shorts. "Did you just get out of the shower? How late did you sleep?"

"Not that late," the just-arrived Emi said, blushing slightly while rubbing the back of her neck self-consciously. "At least I'm rested. And clean!"

"I could use a bit of both," the early bird admitted, and indeed she looked a bit sleepy having gotten up early to run out and make it here in case there was something to miss.

"Well, bring it back in and you can!"

With a grin, the Emi in the skirt hugged her counterpart...and vanished with a faint but audible 'popping' sound, like she'd been a bubble all along. Leaving only the blonde-haired, golden-eyed girl dressed for gym. Who promptly stuck her hands in her pockets and walked over to join the bigger group with the other newly arrived girl. "Excitement is totally a hero thing," she said to Hajo, nodding in amused agreement.

The start of the day for the boy had been a very early one. As he had expected, anxiety and nervousness were getting the better of him the moment he woke up at around 5:30 am, feeling a bit shaky and with even having a bit of a cold sweat. But this was something he had anticipated the days before. Letting out a heavy sigh, the black haired teen got out of the old tatami bed slowly, and got started with the preparations for the day. Preparing a nice breakfast, a quick shower, getting dressed in exercise clothing and packing a bag with water and casual clothes for later, he was ready to leave the apartment. His family was aware the teen would be leaving early and had already wished him luck, all that was left was stepping out the door and going to the bus station. Michi... hesitated for a moment, as many thoughts raced through his mind... he did well enough on the written exam, but now the real challenge was laid in front of the boy: Succeeding in the practical exam of UA. Not knowing what to expect, not having any guarantee that he was ready enough, even questioning if he was good enough to go to such a prestigious school. "No, no! Stop, you'll do fine, you are capable and are as ready you can be" Michi snapped at himself, it was no time for doubt, it was time for action. He renewed his resolve and confidently stepped out the door, ready to tackle this difficult day head-on.

After a relaxed and silent bus trip along a short walk, Michi got his destination: A park about 30 minutes away from UA, along it being 1 hour before 7 am, left him plenty of time to unwind and clear his mind. A light round of jogging, followed by some stretching and then anaerobic exercise made time quickly pass, and by the time he checked his flip phone once again it was already fifteen to seven. The black-haired teen noticed this fact and rushed himself out of the park and towards the school, It may be early but he is not taking even a chance to be late and already felt much better after clearing his head and the exercise. After 25 minutes of quick jogging along small walking breaks the boy had made it and even quicker than he had expected, though a bit winded as a result but at least had made it!

Needing a short break, Michi put his bag onto the floor and bend down a bit, placing his hands on his legs and putting his weight on them. During this time he was finally distracted enough to notice that his injured right eye was hurting again and slightly flinched. "Tch, I should have been more careful while practicing than to hit a wall... I still got a lot to learn" the teen muttered to himself as he took a painkiller pill out of his bag along with his bottle of water and washed it down his throat with the aid of the lukewarm liquid. Only just now the tall 15 years old started looking around and noticed many individuals, some with noticeable quirks, some looking normal, and many speaking in groups. Michi really wanted to join in, try to meet new people and make new friends, but just the idea of this was giving him anxiety already and making the boy feel uncomfortable. Reluctantly he gave up on the idea, let out a heavy sigh, and focused his whole attention on a Tetris phone game that came with his flip-phone, occasionally hearing spikes of noise, like a pretty girl speaking very loudly to another group, another girl laughing out loud just after that. While trying to keep the mind busy, he let time pass.

There are a few things to be learned for those whose first time it was trying to sneak through Japan in the early morning.
One; There are always people wandering around.
Two; Early morning Japan is a bitch to navigate between the aforementioned people and traffic.
Three; and the greatest bitch of them all, is that for all of UA's talk of security and discretion, sneaking in a rather notorious person without drawing attention is like drawing blood from a stone. Sure, SOMEONE on this planet could probably do it, but you'd need to ask yourself- Do you REALLY want to meet that freak?

"Alright...Harness is a-go. Dampener working as intended....If it's too uncomfortable just say something. Oh, right." A man sporting an full suit and sunglasses chucked as the teen he faced merely rolled his eyes at the comment. Wasn't the first time. Will certainly not be the last.
They had less issues being conspicuous once they were near the building as just looking in any direction could yield you more distracting people than some overdressed mook and a rather scarred kid.
"Until you are given clearance, your Quirk will not be so easy to use. At least, not when you weigh as much as a bus. So even if you get wise and try something, you're just gonna look even more foolish. Any questions, Trafalgar?"
Trafalgar held one finger up.
"BESIDES if I'm going to give you clearance at the start of the test. I'm not THAT much of an ass...Maybe."
Another roll of the eyes.

"By all means. Keep acting like that. I'm sure you'll probably flop this exam, and when you do, we'll have a nice, cozy cell for you to live in until you're harmless." The man threatened before looking up at the building.
"Either way. I need to make my way inside to get a front row seat of your dismal attempt at mediocrity. Toodles~"
A sigh escaped Trafalgar as the man left him alone finally. This was all a giant hassle. Completely necessary, but still a giant hassle. He looked around at the people all around him. Clearly there were a lot of people hoping to get in-Just like him. He took a few heavy steps to the side to get out of the way of others coming and going. Already he could see various groups of people who stuck out more than others. But, in all fairness, he was hardly paying attention to that.

He found people-watching to be rather relaxing here in Japan. They seemed much more upbeat here than back home. It was a nice change of pace. Trafalgar looked up to a clock to see how much longer he could linger. Still an hour before he would be needed inside...

Kawaguchi Tomomi

When Tomomi received her letter from U.A, she hadn’t exactly been expecting… Well, frankly, she hadn’t been expecting to be accepted. Not that she was accepted, she still had a chance to flunk the entrance exam! Not that she wanted to flunk, but…

Tomo shuddered as she solemnly marched to the exam. She had asked her parents to drop her off a few blocks away. To avoid the traffic, she told them, but mostly to avoid others hearing their embarrassing cheering. Her father had such high hopes for her, and the thought of him finding out her true motivations left an ugly knot in her stomach that made her want to stop in the bushes and puke.

She was so nervous that her skin had turned to gel from all the sweating, but least she was wearing her school swimsuit under her workout clothes. Silver linings. Water shoes, pink sakura-print board shorts, and a plain white t-shirt made her look unfashionable and unprepared next to the others, but they’d be certainly easier to take on and off in the water – even if it was too cold of an outfit for this kind of weather.

The best hero school in Japan – the world, even. And what was she doing here? How could anyone see potential in her? Compared to all these other kids who had such amazing kick-ass quirks and vibrant personalities, she was like limp seaweed. Hopefully she’d fail with grace.

With a hefty sigh, she flipped her watery hair over her shoulder, leaned against the wall around the school, and slid down until she was sitting on the ground, making a squelching noise and leaving a slime-like trail on the wall. She didn’t care though – she was used to it, and she was currently preoccupied with staring morosely into space. Or staring creepily at a guy playing a phone game, depending on how you looked at it.

YOUR HERO ACADEMIA
GM POST
@Epiphany. @sun.
As Hajō moved over to the group the pink skinned girl seemed to smile widely and waved at her, “Hiya!” She waited for Hajō to move a bit closer and speak, but kept on smiling while she did. Similar to Hajō she was bouncing, but it was more in an up-and-down vibration sort of pattern. The red-haired kid looked from Hajō to the pink-skinned girl and let out a chuckle, some form of comparison drawing in his mind. The pink-skinned girl seemed to somehow increase the width of her smile even more at Hajō, “You’re excited?! I’m excited too!! It’s just so cool being at U.A.! My name is Mina! Mina Ashido! Nice to meet you Hajō!”

Mina looked like she could keep talking forever, but the red-haired kid cut in before she spoke again, “Name’s Kirishima. If you couldn’t tell, my quirk is a pretty manly one, considering, well,” Kirishima gestured at himself, “I can harden the outside of my body, like this!” Kirishima struck his fist in the air and turned his entire arm into a more hardened and sharp version of itself. He grinned at himself, taking pride in showing off his ability, “Just like that! You already heard about Mina, she can create acid,” Mina held up her hand and a colorless liquid was floating slightly above it. She let it fall to the ground where it sizzled slightly, “That right there is Kodai!” He pointed out the more silent girl who had longer hair. Noticing attention was drawn to her she waved, “I’m not sure about her power. She doesn’t really talk too much. And tha-”

“This one is more than able to introduce himself☆!” The sparkly-eyed boy placed his hands palms-down under his chin, and Kirishima just shrugged letting him continue, “You have the pleasure of witnessing the most shining☆, sparkling☆, and truly spectacular student that will be admitted to U.A.☆! Aoyama is the name!” He posed. If he had heard Hajō’s comment before he made no notice of it, “And my quirk is-”

“He shoots a laser out of his navel.” The silver haired girl interrupted him. Her tired eyes giving no indication if she did so out of boredom, or because she was tired of hearing the same speech. Aoyama seemed to deflate again, and Kodai once more patted his shoulder awkwardly, “My name is Yanagi. I do this.” She flexed her hand up in a motion that almost seemed to bend it backwards, and a rock from the ground flew up into her grasp, “Some heroes do not get excited. It disrupts their focus.” Yanagi answers Hajō, completely without any emotion present.

Mina clapped at the mild show of her power. She had only just focused back on the group after staring at the interaction between the two Emi’s, “Woaaah that was cool!! Is that your quirk? What are both of your quirks? Hajō and Emi, right? I think that’s what I heard your name was! Also yeah excitement is totally a hero thing...” As Mina kept rambling on, Kodai, who had been staring at the two Emi’s, also seemed to have a fairly interested look on her face. This was evident due to her prior lack of emotion. She stared at Emi with more curiosity than the others, almost as though she was trying to figure something out about her, and even beyond the obvious display of her quirk. The rest of the group hadn’t noticed Emi using her power, but the conversation was very clearly shifting to Hajō and Emi.

@Caracal @BipboopRiri
Across the courtyard Michi may be able to notice, if his attention wasn’t too distracted by his game, that he was being watched by Tomomi who was sitting by the wall. Although it was an unaware stare by Tomomi. None of the other students in the yard seemed too focused on the two of them, apart from the boy with a tail giving a slightly strange look over to Tomomi. As well as the fairly tall student that seemed to be just 'people-watching.' The two very clearly on the outside of the groups in more ways than just where they actually were. It would be up to them to talk to one another.

@Zahzi
Trafalgar had stepped out of the way of the entrance to the gate, and most students passed by him wordlessly. Some were talking to each other, or got involved with groups such as the two girls he had seen from across the courtyard. Occasionally he got a strange look from some of the students entering, or in the case of a blushing girl with shoulder-length brown hair a fairly honest smile directed toward of him. Thankfully most of the students walked around Trafalgar, since he was directly out of the way. That was until one particular student.

A boy with short orange hair, that held a small black highlight in it, stumbled through the entrance and ran right into the back of Trafalgar. Though of course Trafalgar likely wouldn’t be pushed over from the little force the boy had knocked into him with, the boy himself knocked himself to the ground.

The boy picked himself up from the ground, “Woah! Sorry about that!” The boy placed a hand on Trafalgar to slightly steady himself, “Hey! Name’s Kaminari!” As Kaminari looked up at Trafalgar he nearly did a double-take, “Wah, ah definitely sorry about running into you! You look really tough man!” Kaminari playfully punched Trafalgar’s shoulder. Then turned around and tried to hide the fact that it actually hurt his fist more than he expected. He wiped away a tear from the corner of his eye.

“So uh,” Kaminari focused back on Trafalgar, “What’s your name?” Kaminari smiled at him, and seemed to tilt his head, “Don’t tell me cat’s got your tongue! Or, uh, however that expression goes.” He laughed quite a bit for something that wasn’t even much of a joke. It was very clear that Kaminari had no idea that Trafalgar couldn't speak back to him. In fact it seems like he hardly had much sense of anything at all.

Thoughts: He just keeps talking and talking...

Trafalgar stared down at Kaminari as he spoke to him without any hint of emotion. Truth be told, he hadn't even felt the impact- Had he just walked away without saying anything, he would have been none the wiser. Instead. The twink began talking. And talking. And....Talking.
A sigh left his throat as Kaminari asked why he wasn't speaking. He slowly lifted his head and made a cutting motion near his own neck with one hand as the other reached behind himself and into his pack and pulling out a small board with a marker. He looked down at it before glancing back to Kaminari as he began to write down on the board. A few moments later, he turned the board around to show him.

私の名前はトラファルガーです
My name is Trafalgar.

話せない

I cannot speak.

After he held it there for Kaminari to read for a good ten seconds, he flipped it back around and erased the marker with his sleeve. before writing again. Another glance, before flipping the board once again.

It was clear that Trafalgar was fairly adept at calligraphy- A necessity without the use of talking.
He looked down at Kaminari, tilting his head, waiting for his response.

Hajō's smile stretched, the corners of her mouth threatening to touch upon her ears. Craning her neck with one rapid motion, she scanned Emi up and down within a fraction of a second, and nodded affirmatively. "Right?! I'm really glad you think , too. Everyone told me to stay calm, but I deeefinitely can't, it's all way too cool!"

The aspiring hero balled her hands into fists, steadily shaking them up and down at chest height as she listened to each of the other kids' intoductions; it was not discernible whether it was to pump herself up, or to cheer each of her potential fellow classmates on. Her thoughts were definitive, though.

They. Are. All. So. Cool!

"Hardening...So cool! Acid! Laser! Aaah, so strong!" Her wide smile had shrunk down to the size of a quarter, her lips parted in awe. "And... what is that? Some sort of telekenisis?" She nodded as she spoke, almost as if encouraging her own theory, then gently bit down on her bottom lip; she could feel herself get light-headed from the excitement and her nerves fleeing in all direction; now, it was important to stay grounded, to do the right things.

Keep your wits, stay calm, this is the one important moment!

"My Quirk is, uhm..." Hajō's voice trailed off, the permanent pink tint that was etched onto her cheeks flared into a notable blush. With a coy twirl of her fingers, and her feet playfully scraping into the dirt, she fixed her eyes upon the ground, like a bashful maiden out of an old folktale. "I wish I could show it off in such a cool way, like you guys, but it's kind of uncomfortable to use when I'm this overdressed, I hope you can forgive me." Her borderline-flirty bravado culminated in a quick, timid gaze towards Kirishima, before she turned his side to him in a rather deliberate half-twirl.

"It's not nearly as interesting as yours, really, uhm... Emi, right? So you can clone yourself, is that right? That's so fabulous!"

Akira woke up late today. Although usually Akio would wake her up when that happened, Akio stayed up all night playing video game. Usually, apart from when Akio had football match or when Akira had debate competition, the twins would go to school at the same time. For the first time in years, Akira had to go to school while Akio had a day off. The reason, today was UA High Practical Exam for enrollment.

Without anytime to eat breakfast, Akira nibbled on a sandwich on her way to school. She wasn't running, of course. Uncle Francis, as the twin called him, drove her in a blue sedan. When the school gate drew near, Akira nervously adjusted her glasses -- and failed. When her index finger touched air, Akira suddenly remembered she left her glasses home today and wore contact lens instead. She would do practical exam today; that was why she carried casual clothes in a bag instead of wearing them and wore a track suit. While Akira darted her eyes around, a voice brought her back.

"Calm down, " said Francis shortly, his eyes never left the road in front of him. "you can pass this."

For a few moments, Akira only stared at her granduncle blankly. Then she nodded. Her granduncle was never one to talk much, but his calm expression helped Akira to relax her mind. It was another exam she had to face. Even if she failed, she could apply with Akio to another school.

Francis stopped the car a few distance from the school gate; it was too crowded to get closer. Akira walked out of the car and close the door behind her. Akira started walking toward the school, when a familiar voice called her again.

"Akira!"

She turned around. Francis paused slightly, before he shouted forcefully, "good luck!"

He encouraged her. The show of support warmed her heart and let her trust more in herself.

"Thank you!"

She answered with a smile before she headed for the school gate, with more purpose in her steps. Francis watched his grandniece walked away. When Akira was truly out of his sight, he rolled the window up and drove back home with a smile he would never show to anyone in the world.

The courtyard was already filled with other applicants as Akira walked in. Some were still talking to their family, while others had strike up conversation with fellow applicants. Some were showing off their quirks. Akira blinked when a boy with reality defying spiky hair suddenly jumped off into the air and turned into a small bird. The boy flew around for a while, inciting cheers and awe from his peers. Akira's eyes were glued at the boy. Too glued, for a fact, as she didn't notice where she was going and bumped into a boy fiddling with his phone. In a reflex, her hands moved to her nose to stop her glasses from falling, but she didn't wear them. This would take time to get used to.

"Ah, sorry. I wasn't paying attention," she apologised before turning away and started to leave- wait!

Akira stopped herself mid-step in an awkward position where her left foot was in the air and her body half turned. Wasn't this a good moment to introduce herself? And talk? The boy was alone so it wouldn't be likely that she would be ignored in favor of someone else. But she was already starting to leave... ah no, it would be more difficult to find a free person later. Thickening the skin on her face, Akira faced the boy again, stopping her attempt to leave. She opened her mouth, but the words that came out was weaker than a whimper. She gathered her voice and tried again.

"My name is Akira,"
she blurted out. "can I... know... your name...?"

Her voice quavered as she spoke. So awkward! She knew it was awkward to suddenly ask for someone's name after only bumping into him. What was she thinking? Her intention couldn't be more obvious and slightly pathetic this way. Akira was smiling uncertainly on the outside, but if Akio was there, she wanted him to pull her underground and bury her forever.

nameri_michi.png

The boy had been fiddling on his phone for a few minutes now, successfully suppressing his anxiety with the distraction. Things were looking good for the teen, he would only have to stay like this until it was time and just get things over with. He would regret not socializing but was ok with that if the tradeoff was not dealing with the nerve-wracking experience of actually interacting with people.

Unfortunately/fortunately for him, Michi didn't have to make a decision in the end, a girl moved close to the area he was standing around at and sat down fairly close to him, making a weird... gooey noise of something sticky touching the floor. "Probably her quirk acting up." The boy thought after sneaking a look at her in curiosity and seeing that the stranger's whole skin looked a bit odd. The next thing he noticed was that said blue-haired girl was looking... in his direction, almost directly at him... This... this made the tall teen quite nervous, and even caused his social anxiety flare up once again, this time in full force "Why is she looking at me, wait, is she even looking at me? and if she is what does she want? what do I do? what should I do?? what if I'm just misunderstanding something???" His thoughts raced through his mind nonstop for a few moments, making him increasingly more nervous and shaken, until we caught himself again devolving into a mess. "No no no no, Stop Michi Stop!!! You already went through this in the morning... don't, don't let your nerves get the better of you, come on and compose yourself. She.. she probably is just staring into the distance, absent-mindedly, yeah... yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. So, just, just either ignore her or wave at her with a small hello and be done with this whole thing!" Michi was once again able to stop himself from going on a downward spiral, he could only thank his mom for making him aware of some of the bad habits he had.

Taking a deep breath and then slowly exhaling, he nodded to himself softly, then turned around to face the gooey girl, and waved with his hand open at her as to say 'hello' along trying to muster a less abrasive face than his nervous one, which always tended to be a slightly furrowed brown and slightly angry look. the best he was able to achieve was a poker face... "better than nothing... I guess". And just when he was about to speak to her, someone bumped into him, making him lose the concentration and a bit of the resolve he had mustered. The black-haired teen was actually a bit annoyed at the turn of events and was about to complain a bit to the rude person... until he heard them apologize earnestly and awkwardly walk away... wait no, awkwardly turn around to talk to him again? "Oh, oh, I'm, I don't feel ready to talk out of nowhere... oh no... calm down... calm, down!" He was struggling to keep his composure at the unexpected event, and things would have gotten worse if something had been different. But in this situation, he noticed something about the new teen, with her expression and body language "The girl is also very nervous and awkward... a bit like me." Upon this discovery, his expressions softened up from a forced poker face to a normal resting face, and he quickly spoke up to try to calm the brown haired girl down, since he knew first hand how unpleasant feeling like she was at that moment was.

He shook his head side to side (accidentally exposing his black eye, which was hidden behind his hair) while putting up his open hands in front of him, to support his initial words with a gesture of 'No'.
"No, it's fine, I don't mind either you bumping into me or the introduction, so don't, don't sweat it. And , the name is Nameri, Nameri Michi." the boy looked at her with an actually relaxed and calm facial expression. far far more natural than any face he had made in this day towards others and waited for her to respond.

(OOC: @Caracal @Drama Fraud )

The world was still dark when Yoshiaki got up, no alarm needed. Waking up before the sun was a common thing around these parts since most folks had to travel long distances to get to their jobs in the capital, or somewhere by the center of town. Guess where Taki was headed this morning? He was expected to be standing by the entrance of U.A. at 8 AM. Surely, by courtesy, getting there a little earlier would be ideal...And well, he normally sucked with punctuality. NOT because he was bad with it, but more because relying on public transportation to go anywhere was like a box of old trinkets, you can never predict what you're going to get.

Thus, having learned to not put much faith in buses or trains, Taki was up by 5 to guarantee that he would not be late. But, oh jeez, he was becoming his mother like that!! Making all sorts of overcomplicated plans and so on! Though... just once wouldn't hurt, and this was sort of... important. Okay, it was very important. Even if not for the reasons it should.

The teenager raised his futon off of the concrete floor, giving it a couple shakes before the navy thin mattress was rolled up and set on a corner of the room. Yoshi yawned, proceeding with attempting to make his naturally messy hair less of a chaotic mess, and as always failing, doing his best to pass through the door avoiding the kotatsu that was there as if to trick him, as the boy made his way to the kitchen portion of the new room. A recently opened package of... something had caught his eye, peacefully resting by the sink. Hopefully, it was food.
Having gone across the death trap he called (mostly) a living room unscathed, he inspected the spoils of victory: Manjuu. An array of 6 white little buns sit over a foam tray, already half empty. Nearby, the plastic bag with the logo of a convenience store also sat, almost out of sight. Yoshiaki went through it without thinking twice, reading the labels of the products inside to himself out loud:

"Mitarashi-dango, gyooza, daifuku mochi, youkan... Wait, why are most of these sweets?!"

Of course, he knew exactly who the responsible for this was: Naoko. The little girl must have had her way during shopping again. Taki could only sigh and start to hide the exorbitant amount of dessert behind other objects on the high shelves that a toddler would not be able to reach. When his job was done, only the tray of manjuu remained in sight, of which he may or may not have taken 3 of them to eat throughout the day. Hey, his home, his rules. They should have made it clear if it wasn't for sharing!

But he was not done, oh no. Picking up the first pen he saw around the room, Yoshiaki had dashed back, stopping in front of the fridge, scribbling down angrily at a piece of paper:

For fucks' sake, can we stop buying so much candy? No one wants their sister to look like a sumo-wrestling basket balli!! I know it's you old man, you're gonna spoil her full of maggots at this rate.
You're the dad, do your job properly.

Passive-aggressive note (or maybe just aggressive?) written, Taki looked at the fridge door one last time, beaming with pride over a job well done. Popping one of the snatched rice powder cakes into his mouth and letting the strong, yet slightly sweet taste of azuki bean paste wash over him, the teenager stepped back into the bedroom to finish preparing to leave.

Yoshiaki effectively left with the sun barely starting to rise, travelling through the seemingly endless passages downwards back into 'proper society'. His destination? The nearest train station, of course!

He had woken up from the long train trip just before the next station was announced, a robotic yet feminine voice letting Taki now that his wait was nearly over. Finally! Not that it had been unpleasant, if anything he was glad to have entered the line almost at its start, able to claim a seat in the still empty machine, but it took waaay too long! Taking a nap on the train just wasn't what Yoshiaki would consider a productive usage of his time...

The announcement rang again, indicating that the train would soon be in the desired station and the teenager promptly got up, trying to fit in a spot near the door, though without much avail giving how packed the wagon was. He had to pay attention or the wave of people coming in might move before he had been able to leave, pushing him back into the cramped 'sardine can'. Not a fun time, for sure. Thus when the train stopped, Taki almost glued himself on the line moving outside. Normally he'd be okay with anything, but not today. Nu-uh, time was of the essence. A lot of pushing and squeezing through later, he was out! Wooo!

And now to glance at the TV and read the time...

When embarking, mind the gap between the train and the platform. currenttimelalalalalalalalala7:10 AM

"Dammit! Already past the one hour mark?!!", he had gasped in surprise and exasperation. Too close, this was getting too close for comfort!

Side-hopping to turn around, Yoshiaki bolted for the exit of the station. It was hard to resist the urge to gawk at all the huge buildings, or how organized everything was, or the impressive flux or people coming and going in the sidewalks, the center of the city was really something else, but the calling of having an appointment was constant. Sure, he still stared at this or that things while passing by, just without stopping and literally watching the environment for hours like the first time he had been on the neighborhood... There would be plenty of time to do so on his way back, it's what he had mentally repeated at himself.

Until the environment decided to interact back. Well, less the environment and more a hurried businessman that had rammed into the boy at once:

"Hey! Watch where you're walking!"

Taki was stunned. 'Me?' he had tried to ask and failed. Thing is, if it had been his fault then fine, he guessed it would be okay to get complained at, yet, he had seen the guy and he had stepped out of the way. Or well, so he had thought so. And even so the man had run into him. That, made his blood boil! The coward had just bumped into him despite his best efforts to avoid such impact and now was running away as if nothing had happened!!

"Well...It is not my fault if your barrel-shaped self occupies half of the damn sidewalk!", he had turned around and snapped back automatically, before his brain could even grasp the risk of what he was doing, "I'm sure your hair is receeding in shame and that's why you're currently an unloved bald whale of a person!!"

"Douchebag."

Just as he had uttered the last line under his breath, Yoshiaki realized what he had done. His eyes widened in shock and before even confirming if the man had heard him or not the teenager had booked it, not wanting to risk getting in trouble right before the U.A. exam just for some dude with low self-esteem and probably a job he hated. When the adrenaline and danger of the situation passed though, he couldn't help but laugh at the stupidity of the situation anyway. To be honest, there was something quite satisfying over not letting that man get out with that sort of bullshit, a little taste of karma, perhaps.

Soon the sight of a magnificent building had risen amidst the scenery: U.A. The structure alone was already breath-taking, bringing the sprinting Taki to a full halt by its walls. He couldn't decide what part of it was the most awestrucking, the sheer size, the fact it was basically made of 4 other buildings all stuck together or even just how much glass had been used for building something like that! No idea, it was all really amazing either way. He had stood there with his mouth agape for who knows how long, just... staring at it, the coolest building he had ever seen in his life... That he was supposed to be getting into!

Right, the exam.
Yoshiaki had completely blanked there for a while, get into the academy first... ask for a tour later. If that's possible. He took a step back, breathing deeply. Okay, this was... weird. To be outside his turf like this. Surely everyone else would be better dressed and better educated and what else more... He bet most students had come by car instead of making a similarly painful trip to this place. Butterflies flapped on his stomach just by thinking about it... Just, he really didn't want to be stuck with an annoying preppy girl. Oh, anything but that, please.

With another deep breath and a sigh, Taki took a step forward and went through the gates of U.A.
It was show time:

"Ah! Everyone is still outside, what a relief!"

To beat the unsettling nervousness creeping on him, Yoshiaki had decided to act confident. Having done a bit of a ruckus while stepping in, he had drawn most, if not everyone's, attention to himself, allowing the boy to interact with whoever he wanted to without making things too awkward. When out of your turf, act as if you owned the place all the same.

"A quirk showcase, huh? An interesting way to get to know each other! And the excitement of everyone here? Palpable. It's nice that we're all so full of energy for the test", the teenager had stopped by one of the largest groups, hands inside his jacket's pockets as this was the most casual thing ever, "The ladies outfits are quite precious as well", he finished with a wink directed at the three he would consider the 'epicentre' of the conversation.

He kept walking, uncaring for if he got some replies back or not, simply going with the flow of the moment. This time he didn't stop by the new group, a pair composed of a girl and a boy. Maybe the wrong time and place for romance, but eh, who was him to judge? Not like he was doing any better. When he passed by them, Taki merely chuckled in amusement to himself and shrugged, making his way to the next group.

And ho boy, this one had to take the cake over how curious it was.

"Hooo~", the boy let out in amazement while stopping near other two students, "You've come with a sort of suit on already! Now that's some dedication I can surely appreciate!", and he knocked twice on the piece of technology the taller blonde (pale blonde, more specifically) was wearing, just to see what kind of sound it would make.

"Tall, prepared, he looks quite serious too, daaamn going against him must be difficult, don't you think so too?", Taki spoke without turn, describing one person to the other, while also reaching with his arm behind the second blond, the one he was talking to, and resting it on the other student's shoulder as if they were friends of a long date, which they were not.

"Also add 'grumpy' to the list...", he commented after reading the board the taller blonde had in his hands.

Was Taki afraid of what that dude could do to him? ...Perhaps, a little bit. Did he care? Eh, not really. He was already in too deep into this to change his method of approach now. Might as well go down in style, right?

As each student introduced themselves, Emi beamed and gave a swift bow. So exciting! Obviously, most of her schoolmates growing up had Quirks of their own. But not like this. Not Hero-level Quirks. As each described what they could do, Emi's admiration grew...as did her fear. What could she do against acid? Or indestructible boys, or boys who could shoot lasers out of their...wait, seriously, navel?

"Oh! Yes, I'm Emi. Emi Hayashibara. How do you?" Of course, asking about someone was the opening to a conversation and this one was well underway. Her cheeks colored faintly and she swallowed once before brightening as her brain caught up with the question. "Oh, my Quirk? I suppose it's kind of obvious, isn't it. I Multiply."

A faint but audible 'popping' sound later, and two Emi's stood there side by side. "Double trouble!" said one while the other grinned and slipped an affectionate arm around...er, herself? Both girls appeared identical, from blonde hair to gym clothes.

One of them (the original) gave Hajo a curious look, obviously puzzled by what kind of Quirk was affected by clothing. The other, though, checked her phone. "Hey, when does this get started?"

"Patience, Emi!" said the first, bumping the second with her shoulder.

@sun. @Epiphany.

Mina watched Hajō’s hands ball up into fists and shake around. She looked down at her own hands which had also been doing the same thing, but then just shrugged it off with a smile as she listened with similar excitement to everybody else talk about their quirks. Her excited rambling and question on what Hajō and Emi’s quirks almost overtook Kirishima speaking again, “Heh, yeah I’ve been told it’s pretty strong.”

Kirishima flexed his hardened arms again and Mina just smiled and shook her head. She lightly punched his shoulder not even caring that it was still hardened up from his quirk still. On the idea that Hajō wasn’t able to show off her power Yanagi tilted her head to the right, “It is not as though I did a truly impressive showcase. What exactly limits you from showing us? Is it something complicated, or perhaps you are worried about appearing weak?” Yanagi crossed her arms over her chest, and Kirishima as well seemed slightly confused by this statement.

“Hey don’t undersell yourself! I’m sure you could show it off pretty well. Though uh, I understand what you mean. My quirk works better without wearing a shirt as well. Maybe we’ll both have to show each other without that limitation.” He smirked at Hajō, and clearly had no idea about how that could be interpreted. Mina gave him a raised eyebrow, wondering if he would catch on to what he actually said. Yanagi just shrugged and whispered something about, ‘Excitable classmates’ to herself.

While Hajō was talking about her power, and Aoyama was mending his currently bruised ego once more, Kodai had her brow furrowed at Emi. Though Kodai wasn’t speaking about it she was clearly still trying to figure something out. That of course was only interrupted by the boy who came around calling her precious, to which she rolled her eyes, suppressing her disgust down to that alone. Mina on the other hand just winked back at the boy, waving as he walked by.

As Kodai was still thinking and Emi began talking, and showing off her own quirk, Mina’s eyes widened once more, “Wowwwww it’s like, I saw that before, but it’s still impressive! You’re… basically two different people!” Yanagi chuckled extremely soft at the excitement of the pink girl, and seemed as though she was going to ask a question when a loud voice cut above them all again.

“Aah, now there is a quirk that I could use well☆!” Aoyama strutted in front of Emi, or one of them at least, “Imagine a world with twice the amount of me~☆!” Yanagi visibly shuddered, and Kirishima seemed to be giving the idea a fair bit of thought. After a few seconds he also then shuddered. Kodai moved over and lightly bumped the elbow of Aoyama, causing him to drop his act for just a moment and glance confused at her. She dragged him back slightly, ushering a few whispers at him. Aoyama nodded at her. When Aoyama came back to the circle he seemed to phrase his next sentence carefully, “Ah, is your quirk just two clones☆? Can they... act separate☆?

@Zahzi @Loveless

Kaminari looked up at the boy still with an eager expression on his face. When Trafalgar made a cutting motion over his throat he blinked. When he brought the board out he blinked again. Even when Trafalgar turned the board around and had wrote down the two sentences Kaminari blinked. After nearly elapsing the entire ten seconds Kaminari had a look of recognition dawn on his face, “Ooohhh hey sorry man! I totally didn’t mean any offense or anything.”

He looked nervously up at Trafalgar patting down on what Trafalgar was wearing slightly at the next thing he wrote, “I mean it hardly scuffed up or anything! Like I weigh nothing compared next to you man, I mean seriously. I’d hardly be worth beating up or anything, y’know?” Kaminari sheepishly smiled at Trafalgar. The whole time he had been talking his hands had been waving back in forth in front of him.

At the sound of Taki’s voice Kaminari turned, but ended up turning the opposite way from where the boy actually was. Which meant the arm that suddenly rested on his shoulder caused the blonde-haired kid to jump slightly. Kaminari let out a smile, completely missing the fact that Taki was not actually being friendly and similarly wrapped his arm around his shoulder, “Yeah! Definitely not strong! Not somebody I would actually try to run into or anything no way!”

Kaminari gave a very nervous smile, and then seemed to realize the situation he was in, “Oh, uh, name’s Kaminari new dude!” He put his other hand, the one not currently around Taki’s shoulder, to the side for a handshake, “That tough guy is Trafalgar! What’s your name? OH, and how cool is it to be here at U.A.!? You think we'll get in? I hope so! I can't believe I got the written exam! Did either of you two start just guessing?”

Thoughts: Now there's two of them. This is getting out of hand.

Trafalgar stared down at the two in front of him, a tired expression fairly apparent in his face. He erased what he had written on the board and began once again, first starting by making a dividing line for the two. He glanced at the two one more time before he began writing. Somehow the screeching of the marker was loud enough to drown out a lot of the noise around them.

筆記試験はかなり煩雑だった。私はあなたが勉強しなかったと思いますか?

The written test was fairly tame. I'm guessing you didn't study?

I hope this next test is more entertaining.

He waited for their responses in the same manner as before, tilting his head to the side.
At this point he was counting down the seconds until the exam would begin. It wasn't that he hated talking to people. Hell, most of the time, people just avoided him. It was more....Well. The kind of people that generally found themselves in front of him. Every. Damn. Time.

Taki had stifled a laugh when he had accidentally caused the shorter blonde to jump. That guy was already so amusing! He could definitely imagine all the sorts of funny and silly shenanigans the other probably experienced daily. He made a note to stick nearby if he passed, it was never a dull day with people like this. Having the arm-wrapping action reciprocated had been a bit odd and did warrant an extra, yet discreet, glance from him. That was... well, new, though not necessarily a bad thing. Passed the initial feeling of strangeness, the boy relaxed again reaching out towards the side-ways handshake when asked about his name:

"Taeken", he shook Kaminari's hand, watching his reactions attentively, "Yeah, I was surprised at the sheer size of the building! It's like a modern glass castle! Never seen anything like it before..."

"Ehhhh?!", Taki had interrupted his own trail of thought, blinking once, legitimately shocked by the other's last few words, "What do you mean 'start guessing'? Did you not study enough?? What kind of hyper lucky bastard are you, hey Kaminari?!"

Bursting into a loud, good-humored laugh, Yoshiaki pulled the blonde closer in a sort of friendly banter. At this point, it was more than clear to him that this was a trustworthy person, a bit slow, perhaps, but an overall cheerful fella with no harmful intentions. He could put his guard down when addressing the dude.

Now Trafalgar...

Please stop talking. Your insecurity is showing.

Trafalgar was something else completely.

If the shorter blond was turning out to be pleasant and fun, this taller one was quickly getting on Yoshiaki's nerves. It had been difficult to not show how much the commentary had affected him, suppressing the urge to either bite his lip or click his tongue. No, no, if he did that he'd just be proving the other right. He had to be smart about it. Maybe... Maybe he could use Kaminari's easy-going stance to his advantage here? For the next minutes, the teenager had remained silent, carefully planning what to say next. He had lost one blonde's reaction to the other, though he could still read the board to assess Trafalgar's side of it.

Once Kaminari had fallen quiet again, Taki struck:

"Hahahaha, someone got out of the wrong side of their bed today!"

"I just didn't want to be stuck with the girly chat inevitably going over there...", he pointed over his shoulder towards the larger group, "Look, there's nothing to be afraid of. I'm an open book, just looking to make some friends! You can ask me anything, I've got nothing to hide.", the boy half-shrugged and paused as if he was about to finish his turn.

...Yet he did not.

"On the other hand...", Yoshiaki had finally released his arm from Kaminari's shoulder, his tone sounding darker, suspicious, serious, as if he knew something that he wasn't letting the others, -well mostly the shorter blonde- on; "You're pretty far from home, aren't you, Gaijin? (foreigner) And I bet it isn't on vacation. What secrets are you keeping under that fancy tech of yours, huh?"

Akira Hiraku
U. A. High School - Courtyard
Interaction: Nameri Michi

Mention: @Caracal

The boy's amiable response released an anvil Akira didn't know was hanging in her heart. Relieved, the breath she gave out next had more force behind it than necessary. Feeling more at ease, she looked at Nameri favorably and smiled. It was the same smile she showed before, but without the anticipation and worry it held, it felt refreshing and genuine to her.

"Thank you. I was looking at someone flying."

Akira lifted her head to search for the sparrow boy, but the air was only spotless apart from a pair of butterflies fluttering about. The boy she was looking for already landed and was being showered with claps and envious stares from his peers. After all, flying was something considered very hero-esque even before the time of quirks. As she only saw the boy in bird-form, Akira shrugged her shoulder and gave up on looking.

"So... can I ask what your quirk is? I noticed it's a popular topic around here."

This time, she the movement of her head to point around. A girl created an exact copy of herself. An invisible man(?) was moving about by the fountain, creating an amusing sight of floating hat and gloves. Threads of vines flew straight up to the air from the head of a girl with green eyes. Showing off quirks, like Akira said, was quite popular among the potential students.

It was a good topic to talk about, Akira thought to herself. Almost all participants here had a genuine interest to know what quirks the others may had, be it for judging the strength of others or out of pure curiosity. While she asked the question and listened to Nameri's answer, her mind whirred to find something else to talk about. Her own quirk would be the natural flow of conversation. Then maybe guessing the content of the exam, after that... the written test? No, no, it wasn't too entertaining for anyone and Nameri didn't look like he would enjoy comparing answer....

As Akira had fun trying to simulate a conversation in her head, little did she noticed that she was no longer concerned of Nameri turning her away. It was something small, but for Akira who often second-guessed herself, it was a good sign toward the right direction.

Kawaguchi Tomomi
Tomomi continued to stare blankly into space, her head filled with visions of her prince, her senpai, riding a white steed through a horde of faceless undead soldiers, cutting them down with her best guess of how a claymore looked and handled, based on video games and dubbed American movies. Her face slowly flushed pink with such girlish romantic fantasies, her mind lost to the clouds. Now… now that was motivation! To wake up in the morning next to him, holding his hand while enveloped in soft white bedsheets, the morning after –

She shook the lewd thoughts out of her head quite suddenly, her hair splashing over her shoulders. Senpai would never notice her if she stayed in the shadows, afraid to step out into the light! He would never see what she was capable of if she didn’t put her best foot forward! She had to do this. She had to be strong and pass the hero exam – even though she didn’t really want to be a hero, she had to. Plenty of people in fiction had redemption arcs where they grew into their roles. Maybe this would be hers!

“You're going to love me forever and ever and - Oh, hang on, I’m drooling. Ew.”

Tomo wiped her chin, and then looked around as reality came crashing back down on her like her thighs on Senpai's face.

Ah, fuck. People.

Trafalgar smiled as the new kid threw his own insults toward him. Cute. It was a novel attempt, but unfortunately fell on deaf ears with it's target. He had heard far worse from just this morning, regarding his chances of having a window in his cell.
The smile he gave was the closest he could to a genuine one- there was a deranged tone that would be hard to miss. He maintained eye contact with Taki as he once again began writing on his board before revealing it.

Michi was a bit worried that the anxiety was going to overwhelm the girl just like it did to him on many occasions, but much to his surprise, she flashed a genuine smile at him, one that seemed relaxed and pleasant... without realizing it, the boy himself, uncharacteristically of him, also started smiling even if only slightly. "Oh? Someone flying? I hadn't noticed, I was... too focused on distracting myself for a bit." He raised his view while talking to look around for said individual, but didn't see anyone. 'Must have landed already, can't imagine that flying is easy'

His attention went back to Akira, who had asked him a question. His voice carried a hint of confidence and boastfulness that wasn't present before."Oh? My quirk is pretty simple but also pretty effective, I can make most if not all friction around me disappear! Basically, it becomes impossible to move out of a place, but... well, neither can I, unless I was already moving before I activated it. So that's mine, it has its issues, but is pretty good. What is yours? The black-haired teen asked mostly out of curiosity, he didn't exactly grasp why but felt very comfortable idly chatting with the girl, and didn't take much effort at all to talk to her. Just when he was starting to unconsciously smile even more, he heard a girl utter a very strange sentence that completely threw him off.

The boy turned around to face her just in time to see her wipe off drool while looking in his direction... if he was being honest, Michi was doing his absolute best to keep a forced straight face while completely panicking inside once again 'Wait WAIT did DID YOU SAY THAT TO ME??? wait no no no no why would she do that she just met me and we haven't even talked but wait a moment that is not unheard off- AH MICHI, you are doing it again!' He stopped his frenzied thoughts right at this moment, took a deep breath, papped his own face to snap himself out of that weird train of thought he had, and after a about half a minute to a minute of composing himself, started observing the girl once again, this time with a more inquisitive and less expression. 'She... looks like she is looking at me, but definitively is looking into space... is she alright? she seems to have lost a lot of liquid and is obviously very out of it? Ah, that's, not good, maybe she is being affected by dehydration?'

The teen now... had gotten himself worked up for a whole another reason, and finally spoke up, if a bit restrained since his anxiety had started to slightly kick in again "Hey, hey! You there, blue-haired girl. Are you, are you doing alright? You seem, a bit out of it? Do you need water, are you tired? Ah and... sorry, for bothering out of nowhere"

Michi then turned his head slightly towards Akira and attempted to whisper lightly to her "She, may have an issue going on? She seems to be a bit out of it, and in which case, I may need some help? And well, sorry, for interrupting the conversation, I hope we are able to keep talking after this is resolved? I was, actually starting to have fun." His voice sounded slightly apologetic, and at the same time a bit sad that they had to stop talking.

He once again turned towards the blue-haired teen, wearing a difficult to read facial expression that contained a clear hint of concern in it.
