It was a noble god who broke the world, cleansed it with a flood of unending tears that burned with anger so hot that it could have only been born from one who had watched their children betray every virtue the god had taught them. When the flames had passed, only emptiness remained. A barren landscape of dead plants and ruined cities.

Ages Passed....

Stirrings of primitive life began to be felt in the deepest places of the sphere, the depths of the earth and ghosts of oceans began to tentatively lay host to the first fragile steps towards repair. Single cell organisms and primitive plants finding succor in the dusty bosoms of the wastes.

Yet no hope could truly be had in a renaissance for the sphere, its dying sun could not offer much more than a crimson ember of light and heat which would not be enough to reach the deep places. In addition the destroyer's tears had boiled away the oceans. Leaving the sphere a dry husk, moisture only remained within the fathomless below. The sphere needed a miracle, yet none of the old gods still dwelt nearby. The gentle deities had been unable to stay, unable to match The Destroyer's maddened strength they fled instead. Unable to watch the suffering of creation but helpless to prevent it. Other Gods of more brutal inclinations travelled to other worlds, grasping for whatever power they could reclaim as a world that had become such a haven for War Deities was consumed in flame.
