You should do it! Deviantart has some people who make F2U (free to use) bases that can be used for that, too. It's really helpful for figuring out anatomy and gaining confidence.

Yes, but I can never find any true incentive to look up these bases, so I've elected to just start taking art classes in school. XDDD
