A bell Rang out. All those not at the assembly were late. The assembly had begun. Inside, one of the teachers was going over the rules, and classes. Outside of the Auditorium(Gym?) was a man in his twenties, watching vigilantly(Or not) A girl and boy were in his line of sight. The girl had the boy pinned.

"Kukuku... Serpent of sin! Your time is through! No longer shall you defile this sacred place!" Armed with not but a six-ringed staff, a young man stood before a towering threat, a colossal reptilian creature. With eight snake-like heads, the creature turned and spoke. "Who are you to sssspeak to me...? I demanded a maiden, those village fools have damned themselves so it sssssseems..." The heads voices each swayed back and forth. The man took another step forward, his grip tightened around his staff. "I am Tenma Torobo, The Black Bolt of Justice! And The only one damned here is you, demon!" The beast let loose a blood curddling roar from all its heads in union. The largest head moved quickly aiming for the man and slammed itself into the ground in an attempt to crush him. The man held is staff horizontally overhead with a single hand blocking the immense blow. "...This power is admirable, hero. Do not die too quickly!" The creature sneered as all its heads struck out at once. "Justice never dies!" Tenma called out. Instantly, a circle of light encircled the demon. The demon halted all movement as the paralyzed and bound it. "KUKUKUKU! Good always prevails! Know your pla-"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tenma was interrupted as a strange sensation filled his body. The sensation of falling, luckily it didn't last long as it was soon replaced with another sensation: pain. When he came to his senses, Tenma found himself on his back looking up at a tree he was sleeping in moments ago. With his dream cut off just as it was getting good, Tenma grumbled loudly and picked himself up to his feet. "Owww... That hurt..." He quietly mumbled to himself What was he doing again? He couldn't remember at all. OH! That's right! He was supposed to make sure the new first years made it to the orientation seminar on time! He was waiting near the bus stop when he fell asleep perched up in a tree. And now he was late.
Doing a direct about face, he immediately saw a girl pinning a boy to the ground. This was a clear violation of rules, perhaps even on multiple levels. He didn't recognize the two, and upon further examination there appeared to be more students making their way up to the school as well. Anybody close enough no doubt would have seen his 'graceful' landing... These must be the new students he concluded. Clearing his throat in an effort to redeem some of the dignity he may have lost from falling like that.
"Ahem. Might I ask what you two are doing?" He stopped to examine the situation further. Where the fighting? No, the girl looked too happy for that... That only means they could be doing That. Tenma blushed heavily at what he thought he was seeing. "Urk...! Acts of um..... Passion... on this level are not permitted on campus. Cease at once!" He demanded rather uncomfortably...
After the two ungracefully landed on the ground, Mary pat Lest on the head. Poor, weak little Earth being. Can't even hold my weight. Mary, like usual, missed a few words as Lest made some comment about being nicer to her. She smiled brightly. He's going to be nicer to me? So this bonding exercise was successful? Alright, mental note made! Lest mentioned something about attacking him, and then claimed that Mary was saying his name wrong. She cocked her head as she tried to listen for the difference. "With a...t? Oh! I am being sorry Lust! I not be making identical mistake again!" As she continued to sit on Lest, Mary heard someone speak nearby. She turned to see a black-haired young man staring at her and Lest. She cocked her head questioningly as the guy began to spout something about passion. Her brow furrowed in concentration. Pashun? What's Pashun? Before Mary could figure out the answer, the man continued, telling them to cease. However, Mary had misunderstood and thought the black-haired youth had said seize. She stood up and grabbed Lest's arms. She then twisted them behind the blonde's back as she stared the newcomer in the eye. "Like this, yes?"
Hiroki left the building, sighing heavily. It seemed that a few of the new students hadn't made it to the auditorium before the teachers began the welcoming ceremony. A teacher had sent the redhead to go find said students and lead them to the proper location. Hiroki pouted. "Stupid Tenma. This is probably his fault." As the boy neared the gates to the school, he found the stragglers. It was surprising how many of them had gotten left behind. Hiroki exited through the gates and reached the first set of students, a blonde boy with a girl on top of him. Hiroki paused for a moment and simply stared at the two. Next to nothing was more beautiful than the passions between two beings. The only way this scene could have been more perfect would be if Hiroki himself were involved.
It took Tenma's bashful exclamation to snap Hiroki out of his daze. Hiroki frowned as the girl got up and pulled the boy's arms behind his back. Hiroki lightly muttered to himself before jogging up to Tenma. "Stupid Tenma, ruining the fun." Upon reaching Tenma, Hiroki widened his eyes slightly and looked up at the black-haired man. "Tenma~! You were supposed to bring the students to the auditorium." Hiroki's eyes watered slightly. "The...the teacher yelled at me to come fetch you and the students...I was...so scared." Hiroki opened his arms and moved to give Tenma a hug. If the man excepted the hug, Hiroki would nuzzle into his chest lightly for a few moments before moving on to the next group of students. If Tenma rejected him, Hiroki would pout his lips at Tenma for a few moments before moving on to the next group of students.
The next group was a bit bigger, with six people clustered together. Hiroki smiled brightly at the group. So many lovely ladies. And the guys aren't too bad either. The redhead began to speak, his voice as jolly as a voice could be. "Welcome! I'm Hiroki Kaname and I'll be escorting you to the auditorium!" Hiroki opened his arms wide and cocked his head cutely. "Does anyone want a welcome hug before we proceed into the school?" Hiroki's eyes seemed to sparkle as he gave each new student a joyful grin.
"NO! Wait, I take it back, call me Less. It is far better than that..." A man stood before them. Was he... Implying that they... Mary calling Lest Lust just now did not help. "N-No! We most certainly ar--AH!" Lest might be an amazing magician, but his pain tolerance was not exactly high. "I realize some monsters might be able to bend this way, but... Gah... I am not one of them!" So far this day was not going well for Lest at all. To be honest, it could all have been attributed to the girl currently pinning his arm to his back. "What have I done to deserve this..."
Sapphire stopped letting go of the others hands smiling at seeing Mary now pinning Lests arms behind his back, Poor guy....Hearing Tekems question she shrugs "I have no idea, this is the first monster school ive been too". She frowns slightly at a dark haired flustered man staring at the 2 on the ground, I wonder who he is, another student? Sapphire giggles softly at the little red haired boys words toward the dark haired man and then to the group. He was pretty cute but she could sense something....Mischievous about him. Smiling brightly she walks up to him her red/purple eyes friendly "A hug huh? Hmm....Sure why not?" not seeing the harm in it she hugs Hiroki gently.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Soteria decided to just let it go for now as Sapphire grabbed her hand and tugged her toward the school, not wanting to be rude toward the friendly girl she follows a small smile on her lips. Seeing the 2 on the ground she cant help but giggle softly shaking her head at them. Noticing the 2 newcomers she listens to them carefully wanting to pay attention so she didnt miss anything. She had a feeling this school could be dangerous if she didnt pay attention, even if these...People seemed friendly so far. As she hears and sees Sapphires response to Hiroki she smiles and walks up to them. "Me too! Group hug!" She hugs Hikori and Sapphire from the side laughing softly.

Zero makes his way tot he assembly where he spots his twin with a couple of her friends...he stopped short being shy and didn't want to embarrass himself he made his way around them and took the spot closet to the teacher that was giving out the rules and regulations of the school. he touched his rosary and look around as he stuff it into his dress shirt of his uniform, knowing most of the students they rather fight a S-class when their most vulnerable. he rather not take that chance.

"Erm... That's not what I mea- No! Stop!" Ok. Now it was getting weird... Was pain part of what they were doing? The girl had just called the boy "lust" confirming Tenma's suspicions, but the boy wasn't happy? What was going on? Tenma was completely and utterly perplexed. It was clear the blonde boy was in pain and Tenma supposed that was the foremost issue.

"Ahem." He cleared his throat again. "Do you see you are causing him pain? I am not sure how it is where you come from, but behavior such as that is not tolerated. Get off of him, please." He had seen a lot of odd things at the school, but something like this was unlike anything else he had seen! He really wasn't trained for situations like this and was doing his hardest to resolve the situation in a professional manner.

A teary-eyed Hiroki entered the scene. Tenma's heart melted at the child's plight. Everywhere the child went, others picked on him, teased him, bullied him and worst of all... called him a pervert. Such things couldn't be true, for in Tenma's eyes, he was the model student. "It's alright Hiroki. The teacher had no right to yell at you, you did the right thing as always." Tenma returned the child's embrace and whispered: "Just between you and I, it's my fault..." Releasing the hug, Hiroki got up and introduced himself to the others and offered them a hug. Such sweet, pure innocence... how could anyone every be cruel to such a child? He would make sure the newcomers wouldn't act like so many others. "Hmmm. I trust you all will be very kind to little Hiroki here. He may be small, but he deserves to be here just as much as any of you." Nodding, he continued to make sure everybody got the message. "Don't listen to what others may say about him, he is as kindred as any. All these rumors do nobody any good..."

Tenma had nearly forgotten the situation at hand. Clearing his throat again, he crossed his arms and addressed everyone. "We are late... If you have any questions about the school, ask away and I will do my best to answer them. But we must be off. OH YES! I had nearly forgotten. I am Tenma Torobo, current leader of the Public Safety Commission. Basically I enforce rules, and if I have to, discipline. Buuuuuut, that won't be a problem with such a *Ahem* well behaved a bunch of students." His voice faltered as he went over the well behaved part. Mary was to thank for that.

Murasame had been the closest to blonde when Mary nearly knocked him over in her rush to knock the blonde boy over. As he approached the two now on the ground, a person fell out of a tree! What the hell was going on?! He was too far away to hear the group exchange words, but as he got closer he could hear the blonde boy shout as Mary proceeded to imitate a professional wrestler.

Murasame smiled a bit, he'd like to see how the scene would end up if only out of curiosity. But it would not be the case, the black haired dude seemed to be trying to break it up. It was probably for the best, after all the bell had just rang so they were probably late for something.

By the time he had gotten within earshot, a little red head was introducing himself. The kid seemed nice enough, and the black haired dude had nothing but positive things to say about him. "Hiroki huh? Nice to meet ya little guy. And sure, I'll take a hug." With a smile, Murasame got closer. Something was wrong. It was just like with Sapphire on the bus... He could feel a taint coming off the kid, but it was far different than Sapphire's aura. Hiroki's aura was odd. It wasn't like anything he had felt before, and Murasame didn't like it. It was a lewdness, and it felt almost as if it were rubbing off on him. Murasame couldn't help but shudder. Without a doubt this kid was a demon more powerful than he, Murasame wasn't strong enough to identify the type just by the aura like some of the stronger demons could, but it didn't matter at this point. The kid could probably sense Murasame too.

Nervously, he took a few steps back. As both Sapphire and Soteria hugged the kid, Murasame would probably have thanked God if he were the religious type... "O-On second thought I think I'll pass on that hug... Y-You seem to have your hands full." With a smile, he tried to sound as confident as he could, but this kid frightened him a bit for reasons unknown to him. He was practically shaking, but then again, maybe he was just being paranoid after a rather hectic day. The black haired dude had nothing but praise about the kid...

Murasame was doubting himself for the moment. If Hiroki could feel what was going on with Murasame, it would only take a small amount of extra focus to completely captivate Murasame in his charm for the time being. If that happened, Murasame would likely forget any and all skepticism he had towards the incubus; but should the chance pass, Murasame would very likely be on guard in Hiroki's presence from here on.

Sarah's eyes opened wide in surprise as Mary ran by her, apparently having decided it was a good idea to glomp the guy walking in front of her, causing the both of them to crash into the ground -- and Sarah to come to a grinding halt, scratching the back of her head in confusion. Seriously, what was up with that girl? Something told Sarah that Mary wasn't going to pass the 'Human behaviour' class with flying colours... Ah well, at least she was fun to be around.

All the distractions did have one big side effect though; namely, they took so much time that the school bells rang began before everyone was inside. Well then, late on the very first day. They were sure on to a good start. Meh, whatever, it was not as if they could do anything about it now.
Before Sarah could actually respond to this situation, however, said situation changed, and quite drastically at that. Some guy suddenly fell out of a tree, crashlanding in between the group and the school front doors. What was he doing up in that tree anyway? And, for that matter, who was 'he'? The guy seemed to try to be an authority figure -- something which would make him Sarah's enemy in the long run -- but didn't quite succeed, instead stumbling and muttering something to Mary and the guy she just tackled. Whatever Mister Authority tried to say to Mary, she failed to understand it. At least Sarah assumed that Mister Authority didn't order Mary to pin Blonde Guy's arm behind his back. Right?

Around the same time, another person came out of the school doors; a young boy. Well, at least 'he' looked like a young boy; Sarah knew full well that a monster's human form said nothing about their true form. That being said, he sure acted like a kid, bringing a smile to Sarah's lips, who at this point wasn't paying any attention to Mister Authority's spiel anymore. Personally she liked more adventurous children a bit better; they tend to have more interesting react-.
Sarah's train of thought was abruptly derailed by something the child said. Did he just ask them for a hug? ...Well, the boy seemed nice and social enough -- albeit a bit nervous --, unlike a certain other person. And since several other persons were hugging him too... "Sure, why not," the Sprite exclaimed before entering the group hug -- ending up right next to Soteria, whether by accident or not. "Hey, Mary, get over here," the Sprite called out to, well, Mary. She then turned back towards the young-looking newcomer. He felt so... nice? No, that wasn't quite the right word. Still, there was this thing about him... Whatever it was, Sarah couldn't help but like it.

Waits to be dismissed form the assembly, looking behind him spotting his sister noticing a boy with her, he sighed and shakes his head. this isnt going out the way it he planned. looked to the floor he felt a coldness on his spine, shivering he looks around. who in their right mind would down down the thermostat? he noticed that other students are barely noticing the sudden downsizing of the temperature when he felt a hand pressed into his left shoulder. he jumped as it startled him and quickly looks behind him. he sees a girl with purple hair ad purple pupiless eyes staring at him. he takes a gulp as he look at her* "h-hello...c-can i help you?" he cant help but notice her gorgeous features and notice shes sucking on a lollipop. then she spoke, her voice was calm and smooth as he talked, "Moka-san said she had a twin, she pointed him out, and here he stands," *he blushed at her and nods* "y-yes....i-im Mokas twin...." he stuttered a bit he looks away for a moment then right back at her "w-who are you?" he asked as kindly as possible, "Im Mizore Shirayuki...but you can call me your Snow Bunny," ah yes..the stalker girl Moka mentioned. Thought she had a crush on a boy....what was his name? tyler? kyle? no....more japanese...being away in america was really messing up his origin scenes. Anyways why was she suddenly into someone like him? hes not human....well...half human... "Um...nice to meet you mrs Shirayuki...i-im Zero Akashiya...w-wheres my sister?" "Shes over there, talking with Tsukune-kun and big boob Kurumu," she plainly pointed out as she pointed to them. He bows to her "t-thank you..." and makes haste to hi sister hoping not to be spotted by anyone else.

"We get to see inside now?" Tekem was oblivious; he was staring at the doors of the school, almost bouncing in place. His growing excitement was soon displaced, however, as he noticed another student walk behind the safety man. He didn't know why but he felt an urge to make friends with this child-like creature. The golem joined in the group hug, arms wrapped around the three as far as he could reach. He then continued to lean over into Hiroki, taking a leaf from Mary's book.

Mary blinked in surprise as the black-haired man and Lest yelled at her. With surprise out of the way, Mary's brows furrowed in frustration. "I just be doing what you be asking." However, Mary complied and released Lest's arms. Using her suits strength, Mary lifted Lest from the ground and placed him back on his feet. Mary looked to the ground, digging her toe into the dirt. Interacting with these beings is proving much more difficult than I had first speculated. Feeling completely dejected, Mary only lifted her eyes as a red-haired Earth being jogged up. She watched as the boy and the young man interacted, and her head slowly began to tilt to the side. Wait, why can he touch the male beings and they love him, but when I touch the male beings, they get angry at me? Mary continued to contemplate this question as the boy ran back to the rest of the group. She turned towards them so she could hear them properly and made note of the boy's name. Hiroki...I'll have to go to him for advice. Everyone seems to love him. As the boy spread his arms and the group joined together around him, Mary's face brightened. Oh! Is this what is known as a 'group hug?' Sarah called for Mary to join and the alien zipped to the group in a flash. She took the rear and placed her chin on the boy's head. Mary's antenna twitched after a moment. Strange...everyone within the group hug has a higher temperature....I wonder why... This was one mystery Mary would have to ask Hiroki about. He would probably know.

As the first lady pulled Hiroki close, a small smirk fell upon his lips. Looks like these first years are going to be easier than I thought. This thought was supported as little by little, the group came together to give Hiroki a hug. Hiroki's body began to heat up lightly as he drew energy from their contact. His skin tingled lightly and he had to refrain from making any noise. It had been a while since he had so many people touching him, in fact, it had been exactly a year ago, when the last batch of first years had come to Yokai Academy. Hiroki gave the ponytail boy an innocent smile as he seemed to inch closer to Hiroki's face. Catching something from the corner of his eye, the incubus noticed a lone boy with a sword holding back. Hiroki could feel the boy resisting, but instead of pulling him in, Hiroki simply stared at the boy. This one looks like he might be fun to play with. I'm in so desperate need of toys. Hiroki made sure no one within the group hug was looking before giving Murasame a devilish grin, followed by a lick of his lips. It didn't matter what Murasame said, Hiroki was confident that at least a few of the group would believe the incubus over the sword boy, especially if Hiroki used a bit of his 'incubus influence'. After tormenting Murasame, Hiroki let out a light laugh. "Yay! Thanks everyone! Now, are you ready to start your life at Yokai Academy?" When everyone released him, Hiroki would move next to Tenma and make a sweeping motion towards the school. I have a feeling this year is going to be interesting.
Murasame took a breath. He was definitely not imagining it; the feeling was real. An unseen force was attempting to envelop everyone nearby. The worst part is that nobody else seemed to feel it at all! He still didn't know exactly what he was dealing with, but what ever it was it made his skin crawl. He was still slowly backing away trying to look casual, but each step he took Murasame found the next was progressively harder and harder take. Whatever force this kid was giving off didn't seem intent on drawing him in, but it certainly didn't want him to leave.

Everyone else gravitated towards him, completely captivated by his charm. Hell, Murasame was nearly there too. The two demons made eye contact. Eyes locked, the boy flashed Murasame a sickening grin, but worse was when he licked his lips. Be damned that, that relatively simple gesture shook Murasame to his core. Whatever facial expression Murasame had on was gone now, fear taking its place. Even after Hiroki broke eye contact, Murasame's gaze remained transfixed on the red head. He tried, but he couldn't move.

Murasame felt cornered, like the only direction he could move was forward. Forward toward Hiroki. And just like that, the man calling himself Tenma stepped between the two instantly breaking what ever power Hiroki had over Murasame. "Ke-Heh! Making new friends already." Tenma spoke to Hiroki pleasantly. It was clear Tenma was oblivious to what ever was going on. "...And you." Tenma said as he turned around to Murasame. "What's with you? Hiroki comes all the way out here to greet and you are not even indulge him in a hug?" His words were voiced with conviction. Almost as if he was genuinely insulted by what Murasame hadn't done. "Ah well. He is small, but he'll grow on ya. I know he will." Tenma started off sounding disappointed, but by the end it seemed like he wasn't even mad in the first place.

Murasame regathered his thoughts and managed to spit out a few words. "A-ah... Yes, I'll take your word on that." He still felt like he was slightly dazed, but he certainly didn't feel himself being drawn in like before. He didn't like this kid at all. He knew this Hiroki would mean trouble, and he knew that he probably had made a target of himself. Maybe it would have been easier if he hadn't resisted... What? Wait... No! Why was he thinking like that?! His head was a mess.

"Well. Hiroki will escort you to where ever you need to go from here. I'm gonna go back to the Crow's Nest and get some rest... I'm going to be patrolling tonight. Remember: No trouble! Understood?" Tenma addressed everyone with a bow. "Oh! Right. Hiroki, were you getting a new room mate tonight? I'll check on you later tonight." With his last words said, Tenma took his leave and headed off.

Murasame nodded in response to Hiroki's words. Murasame would be careful not to let Hiroki get too close from now on.
Please. Tell me nothing else is going to happen today. He silently prayed to himself.

The bell rang, indicating the end of the assembly. Our entourage of monsters all missed it. It was now up to Tenma to fill them in. However, Tenma, being the man he is, left Hiroki in charge of the students, and pointing them to the dorms. School would begin tomorrow.

After hugging Hiroki Sapphire felt uneasy, she had a feeling he was more than he let on...Much more. But she just smiled politely and nodded, noticing Mura's reaction to Hiroki she felt even more suspicious of the red haired boy. Suddenly she hears her vamp/demon side speak inside her mind "Dont trust so easily, all of these monsters have dangerous sides. That Hiroki boy is one of the worst though stay on guard. And watch out for Soteria shes not what she seems" . Sapphire looked at her Sword laying against her chest pondering the others words deeply, she would stay on guard but she would give everyone here the benefit of the doubt first before mistrusting anyone. Hearing the bell toll she flinches slightly, uh oh they missed assembly....Great.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soteria smiled brightly at the Hiroki boy but tilted her head slightly at Mura's reaction, it seemed odd she hoped he was alright. Shrugging it off as another one of the many weird events of today she nods at Hiroki's and Tenma's words. "This place sounds fun already!" her voice was upbeat, hearing the bell ring her eyes widen slightly. Well there goes assembly...What now?
As the bells tolled signaling the end of the assembly nobody went to, the group would be able to see a figure dashing towards them from the outer grounds. Some of the more visually acute would be able to see that the figure was female, her school blazer was open and flapping behind her, her shirt wasn't tucked in, and that she had a determined look on her face. Some of the group more sensitive to auras and killing intent would sense it from the figure, although it was not directed at anyone in the group.
As she approached the group, she seemed to register that there were people in her way for the first time. Without slowing down she began shouting, "Move it, move it, move it! I have places to go, things to eat! Outta my way!" This wasn't said in a belligerent manner, but rather in the tone of one who was in a great hurry. It seemed that she was going to plot a course straight through gathered group of truants, when an idea struck her. Why not simply move around the group? This way, no one got run over, and no one had to file any paperwork about reckless behavior causing unnecessary harm! I'm so smart! Why didn't I think of this before?
She changed course slightly, veering to the side of the group, realizing only too late that the side of the group she had chosen contained a sweetly smiling red-haired boy who made her brain go fuzzy. She put on a burst of speed, hoping to blast by him before he could react.
Tess had gotten to the Academy about an hour earlier and the first person she had met was Hiroki. She had been happily tearing the bumpers off of the bus she had arrived on and savoring the distinct tang that rust had given them. He had gotten off the bus after her and saw her. They had made eye contact and she had immediately dropped the bumper and clung to the small boy. All thoughts of the delicious steel bumper surpressed by the desire to simply be as close to the boy as possible. He then offered his hand to the homunculus with a knowing smile and a twinkle in his eye. Then she had felt that it was an unimaginable honor and pleasure hol his hand and follow him anywhere. Now she had no idea why she had felt like that. It wasn't until he had led her far away from the bus, and well into the Academy grounds that he had released her.
Someone that could forcibly make her not think about food was, to her, very scary.
"Ugh..." Groaned an irritated voice. "When is this kid going to feel like showing up..." The voice mumbled to itself. Sitting propped up against a door sat a girl by the name of Sherin patiently waiting for her room mate to show up. "...Fehh. Maybe I'll get lucky and they won't show up... But I'll be damned that I don't have a key..." Sitting beside her lay four suitcases neatly stacked up. Two of them were packed to bursting with nothing but books, books that she wrote herself at some point in her life. Each book contained one chapter in her life ever since she started recording. She was currently reading one about her forty-eighth cycle of life, and it wasn't particularly exciting. It was just about her working on a farm for years and years and years...
She had left the assembly early. Too many people in one area, too much noise to think, read or write. If there was one thing that she could tell everybody in the world, it would be "Quiet." The girl audibly exhaled as she marked her page and she reached into her pocket and pulled out a note. The note just told her who her room mate was as well as who her neighbors were.
"Tekkem" That was her room mate. She didn't know anything other than their name, but she did know she already didn't like them whoever they might be. Her room was at the end of a hall, so she only had two neighboring, one next to her and one directly across the hall. At least that was something... Begrudgingly, she read silently read the names of her neighbors. The ones directly across from her were named Yukiko and Sarah. The two next to her? Lest and Mary. Why'd they give out who their neighbors were? Were they expected to all become friends or something? Ha! All that Sherin gave a damn about is if they were the kind of neighbors who'd be quiet and leave her in peace or not.
She sighed. Why'd she think coming here was a good idea? She crumpled the note in her right hand and her body began to heat up rapidly. Within moments she released her grip and the note fell to the floor in ashes. Sighing again, she picked her book back up and continued right where she left off, the same irritated expression glued to her face. "...I really hope nobody shows..."
Given the task of leading the group to the dorms by Tenma, Hiroki gave a salute as the young man took his leave. Returning his attention to the group, Hiroki gave his brightest smile. "Alright! Off to the dorms!" As the redhead led the group to their destination, he saw a figure drawing closer. It was the grey-haired girl from earlier. An odd creature, he'd found her chewing on the bumper of the bus they had arrived in. He could tell she had a craving for something, and it brought him utter joy to turn that craving towards him. Seeing that she veered to avoid them, Hiroki smirked before grabbing her arm. The boy had a surprising amount of strength considering he was able to keep his feet planted firmly on the ground as he pulled the homunculus to a complete stop. His smirk quickly morphed into an innocent smile. "Great timing! We're off to our dorm rooms! Let's go! Let's go!" The incubus effortlessly dragged the grey-haired girl along, and soon they came upon a large, eerie building with dead trees and tombstones surrounding the path.
6AjHQ.jpg
Upon entering the building, Hiroki found a clipboard hanging on the wall and flipped through the pages. He gave the group a large smile. "Yay! Everyone is right next to each other! Isn't that great?!" The boy leafed through a group of envelops and picked out his and the groups. He then skipped towards the stairs and pointed up them. "We're on the second floor!" After jumping up the stairs, Hiroki turned to the right and led them down the hall. Sitting at the end of the hallway was a lone girl with a bunch of luggage, and Hiroki waved to her as they approached. "Good morning! Based on where you're sitting, you're either Sherin? Tekkem will be rooming with you!" The boy gave her a cheerful grin before handing her the envelop with her key, then handing Tekkem his envelop. Turning to face the group, he pointed to the door now on his right with two envelops. "Sarah and Yukiko will be staying here." After the girls grabbed their envelops, Hiroki leapt forward and pointed to the right again in the same fashion as before. "Here is Soteria and Tess' room!" He then pointed a foot to the left door. "Mary and Lest will be rooming here." Handing off the appropriate envelops, Hiroki swept his arm to the left door. "This is your room Sapphire! Either your roommate is already in the room, or the person's late." He tossed her the envelop and gave her a thumbs up.
With everyone else busy getting into their rooms, Hiroki held up the last two envelops and gave a creepy smirk to Murasame. His voice was low, with a complete monotone. "Looks like you'll be rooming with meeeeee." A chuckle fell from his lips, one that would send chills down the spine of any lesser being. Hiroki waved Murasame's envelop in the air as he moved towards their room, melting slowly into the shadows as he did so. If Murasame was quick enough, he'd be able to grab the envelop before it too disappeared into a black puddle and slipped under the door. If not, then Murasame would probably have to beg to be let in using a lot of sword innuendos.
The rest of the walk Murasame remained at least four paces behind Hiroki at all times for the rest of the trek. Four paces seemed like the minimum distance that he felt the most comfortable at, with "comfortable" being used as loosely as possible. What ever effect the boy had, it was far less profound now that Murasame was aware that such a thing was being used, just so long as he wasn't caught off guard again he shouldn't be affected nearly as badly as he was previously. Still though, he couldn't shake the feeling that kid wasn't putting his full effort into it and that kept him on edge...
There was some shouting heard and a feminine, silverish haired figured came barreling towards the group at an alarming rate. At least she was until the red headed kid pulled her to a complete stop! 'W-What the hell was that about? He didn't even budge an inch!' Not only did this kid have some weird, bewitching charm about him but he also had that strength? What the hell was Murasame dealing with here? Murasame's left hand ever-so-slightly twitched nervously the rest of the trip.
As they entered the hallway with their rooms, they were 'welcomed' with the sight lone girl sitting at the end of a hall reading a book. She remained silent and gave the group an annoyed look as Hiroki gave her the room key. It was clear there she had little interest in talking to anybody there. With a brisk pace, she begun the task of loading her bags to her room without giving anybody a second glance.
One by one, everybody broke up into pairs partnered up around their rooms with Hiroki practically bouncing with excitement. Despite his attempt to hide it, Murasame was still visibly shaken from his earlier encounter. Hell, being in the same room as that Hiroki kid required him to fight off goosebumps. This was nuts, why'd he follow him all this way? The deep down truth is that he really didn't want to leave him... He didn't know why, but he felt compelled just to stay with him a little longer despite all his better judgement. Regardless though, he made it his not to be looking in the red head's general direction.
Before he knew it, all the envelops had been passed out. Everybody had a room but him, and there was only one room left... Was he rooming alone? Hiroki couldn't be a first year, after all that Tenma dude sure seemed to know him. So maybe Hiroki already had a room somewhere else...? For the first time since he stepped foot on school, Murasame breathed a sigh of relief. "Looks like you'll be rooming with meeeeee." A shiver raced down is spine straight to his core. Oh hell no...
In an instant, his heart sank. This wasn't a joke... Murasame was just stunned. He couldn't believe it, was this real? After a long moment of disbelief, Hiroki had already half merged into the floor, Murasame didn't know what was happening until it was too late. The red head had vanished with the keys and slipped under the door. Hell. No.
It took him a minute before he was able to get himself to move, and slowly he shambled his way towards the door. He wanted to yell, but he couldn't for some reason. Shaking, he knocked lightly at the door.
The students started bustling towards the doors, but Tekem had an overwhelming urge to see the cliff again. He wanted to jump; he wanted to play the game they had played earlier. As the focus grew around the new students, he wandered back over to the edge, pieces of rock sliding down its crusted formations.
Tekem glanced over his shoulder to make sure no one was watching, and then, with a guilty smile, shredded his human form, his school uniform bulging over the hulking ice golem. He could hear the crashing waves below, imagining the adrenaline of falling down over the cool water, only to be pulled back onto the cliff. It would be fun, and it would be a great story to tell his room-mate! Maybe he or she would like him better.
He took a couple steps back, grinding a frozen print into the ground, and rushed forward.
The wind blew the spray of water into his face; the salt stung his eyes and, for a moment, all he could see was the bright light reflecting off the waters. In an instant, there was a slap of cold and then black. Ice shards and clothing floated across the red sea. Wisps of blue smoke, magic remnants, rose from the water before the new wind carried it to the northern mountains where, in spirit, the ice golem joined his father amongst the falling snow.
<Sarah>
Sarah had trouble releasing her grip on Hiroki. There was something about him that really made her want to stay around him; she had no idea what it was, but it was definitely there. Either way, whe hadn't much time to think about it, seeing as the group was swiftly redirected to a quite large building. Apparently this would be their dormitory? Personally Sarah preferred buildings that were a bit more colorful, but this'd do. Besides, it wasn't like she couldn't redecorate her room or anything.
So, wait. Everyone was going to be placed right next to eachother? Sarah didn't know a whole lot about math and probability calculation, but she did realize that the odds of something like this randomly happening were extremely small. Well, whatever, it wasn't like she cared. Plus, this would make it a lot easier to play pranks on people. Of course, it would also make it harder to get away with said pranks, but that was something she could worry about later.
"Hey, looks like we'll be roommates, Yukiko!", Sarah chimed as she grabbed the latter's hand. "Shall we go see what our room looks like?"
<Homura>
((This post partially plays in the past due to reasons.))
While the rest of the group had wasted their time by childish things like playing pranks and falling to their deaths, Homura had just walked straight towards the school entrance, not even looking back at the chaos that was slowly building up behind him. He'd rather attend the assembly than mess around with people he knew nothing about.
Some time later, Homura was sitting quietly in his room. Well, 'his', 'his'... Of course he had to share it with someone, but that person wasn't here yet. He just hoped that his soon-to-be-roommate would be a bit calm. He hated hyperactive creatures; they always gave him a headache, even when he was wearing his earmuffs. As might be expected, he'd already received some comments about it, most of which consisted of calling him stupid for wearing earmuffs inside. 'It's not that cold here, you wimp.'. Those kind of things. He didn't care; he knew that it was for the best. Not to mention the fact that, had he not wore them, he'd likely made several enemies already by blurting out their private thoughts for everyone to hear. No, unless someone took them off by force, he was going to keep them on no matter what anyone said.
It was about that time that Homura heard some ruckus from the hallway. Apparently the rest of the new students had arrived. Well then, there went his last minutes of solitude. He turned towards the door to see who would come through it.
