Dark streets with illuminating lights lined the city. It was the year 2263 when technology was finer than it was 200+ years ago, and the time when the Earth that mankind had once inhabited had started to decay. The world, now known as the Outside world, has fallen to ruins since Mankind had last seen it. After people started to die off in the world, the Government took control of the remaining population and rounded them up, securing them in a Dome. This extremely large dome is what protects and maintains the remaining human population. This population is the future of mankind. With the future, it determines whether mankind is able to replenish the world and fix it; or die off and end the species of Man forever.

Looking around a corner in a dark and narrow alley, a figure stood seeing if the coast was clear for him. He was watching out for the K9's, mechanical dogs that were programed to follow orders from the Government and Police that enforced this city. When he saw none, he slipped out of the shadows and moved around down the Alleyway and towards a metal door. Taking a passcard out, he took ahold of what appeared to be a paper covering, smooth and blended in with the wall and pulled it down a bit, revealing a Card pad and pressed it against the pad on the side that scanned the card, and once complete, the door unlocked itself and he put the paper back over the pad to hide it, then stepped inside. Closing the door behind him, Nemo walked down a narrow hallway and upon entering a dark room, flipped the lights on. This had once been a storage room but now abandoned, Nemo called it his own, in secret. A flapping noise could be heard as well as a screech and Nemo looked to see a Fruitbat hanging upside down on a thin pipe.

He smiled a bit and spoke, "Come here, Ringo" to which the bat obeyed and flapped it's wings, and following the sound of his voice, flied over to land on his shoulder. Nemo dug around into his pocket of his pants and pulled out a strawberry that he handed over to the small bat creature who took it and flew back to where it had been. Looking around the room, you could see light blue painted walls, white carpet flooring. A large map of the city was hung on the wall by thumbtacks. A old Oak bookcase sat next to the map with many books in the bookcase and some lining the floor next to it. To the left of the room was a green couch that could seat at least 3 people and was extremely comfy. Sometimes Nemo would sleep there. On the right of the room was a dresser that had a bunch of things on it and within the drawers.

On the dresser was a couple of books, some paper with sketches of the city, sketches of the K9's and a diagram about them. Alongside on that dresser was a disassembled K9 that he managed to capture and take apart successfully. It was a way for him to see if there was a way to get out of the Dome. He knew of an exit but it was heavily guarded, so there would be little to no guarantee on getting out from there. There had to be another way. To which, Nemo had started on. Behind the dresser was a 2 foot tall and 2 foot wide hole easily hidden by the large dresser. His plan, was to dig his way out of the dome.

Sighing a bit, Nemo walked away from the dresser and decided to leave for now. This was actually a hideout for those who wanted to escape. A secret hideout. Almost everyone in the city had given up on freedom so they see no point in it. But there are a few people who do want freedom, and those few have yet to discover what Nemo Blaylock has in store. Course, he comes up with great ideas, but not every one is bound to work. Upon leaving the hideout, he made sure the door was closed and locked, then, Nemo left, walking out of the alleyway and heading down the street with his hands in his pockets.

He passed by people, and K9's who were patrolling the area. Nemo made it to a park like area with some grass and a couple of trees. There, he sat himself down underneath a tree, and just stared out at the city, watching cars pass by.
