Name
Hi No Kisu/ Ryu(Kiss of Fire)
Age
24
Physical Description
Ryu stands about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with long scarlet hair that ends at his shoulder blades. His body consists of several tattoos. A large dragon tattoo on his back, a small snake on the left of his neck, and one on three of his left hand's knuckles of a demon wolf. Structure of his physique is that of a pro swimmer's build--skinny but built. Ryu is always wearing his casual robes and wraps, occasionally he goes outside without his shirt.
Personality
Growing up, he was always called a spit-fire, charismatic, enthusiastic, and explosive at times. On a good day, he is the perfect paragon. But when encouraged or provoked enough, he can be the deadliest renegade. His border between naughty and nice presents him well to those new to him, leaving his mind open to form a relationship of all kinds. Loyalty finds itself among his most valued of features: a friend on the first day, is his friend for life.
History
Born into a wealthy family, Ryu followed his gracious role as a prodigy to elemental magic. His first mastered element was at the age thirteen when he could finally manipulate, and create, fire on his own. As his parents taught him other elements, he learned to wield them in the streets; for not too long after his fourteenth birthday, his parents were murdered.
Without haven and guidance Hi-No took to the life of a thief, using his power in mischievous ways to escape authorities. He attended underground blood matches to scrape up money, or simply stole it by force. This was an ongoing life cycle for three years until he was taken under the wing of a great, and powerful mage. Her name was Nami. She led Ryu into a life of peace and tranquility, while showing him ways of combat he never imagined. Until he was eighteen, he found himself a home and a mother again until she died of an incurable sickness. Her last words to him were: "Even through the darkest days, this fire burns. Always..."
Since then, Ryu has been on his own taking her saying, and making it a reality. No matter the scene he remains on the up-beat. While on the side he deals with thugs around the Living. On many occasions, he's gotten in trouble with local authorities. He now has a history of 150+ arrests.
Abilities
Hi-No is not the average Elemental, for his training is both mentored and self-taught. Through stress and the will to survive, his influence of nature around him is inhuman, but not invincible. He can use earth as armor, conjure fire and lightning, or destroy it all together. But with great power is responsibility--his energy. With all of his power to shape the world, it takes a heaping amount of mana for him to use constant spells.
Battle Response
Ryu shaped his hand into a cone as he touched pure earth, whipping his hand upward, a spike of earth blocked the incoming knife. He made a satisfied grin that was short lived when he felt the air blow in a rush in his direction. hi-No grunted as he flexed both hands as if they bared claws, and whirled his arms in full circles, shifting rock into walls to block his attacker's storm. The floor beneath him rumbled as the wind cracked and broke apart his cover, his hair whipping in the wind as the stone crumbled in front of him. A cloud of dust replaced what was lost, giving Hi-No just enough time to react at his falling foe. With a curb stomp on the ground, the cut up spikes rebuilt themselves into a large pillar, the length of thirty-five feet. He snapped a kick into the bottom of it and caught it, then roared loudly as he gave it a horizontal swing and slammed it into his enemy's side. The result would be a few broken bones, or many, but he grinned as he waited for him to stand back up.

Perhaps this is the closest thing to becoming her...
But I already know I can never become the real thing,
I can never be her.
Name
Megurine VanCise
Age
21 years old
Physical description
Stands about 5 feet 3 inches tall, with long, flowing silvery-white hair and blue eyes. She has the build of someone who has never done sports, with soft skin without any scars. She is beginning to take on the details of her dead sister, Eo's physical appearance. She carries the sword of the VanCise with her. It's a special weapon forged of healer's blood. It can never kill anyone. It's used for a passing of the dead medium.
Personality
Megurine is a shell of a being. She gives off vague, mysterious emotions. Though she speaks with people and converses, there is little to attribute to her personality.
History
In VanCise culture, anyone but the first child & magical heir is disowned. They are sent to live outside of the small city walls and assimilated into modern culture. They rarely see their parents or hear from their family, instead, they live with their foster family. This strict rule serves to establish the difference of magical and non-magical children's lives in the eyes of the Maikyo. As a result, Megurine lived a humble existence as the daughter of two restaurant owners. She worked part-time in their sushi spot and was studying culinary arts in college. She hoped to open a bakery someday, had many friends, and loved her foster family.

However, a great tragedy befell the VanCise. Their first daughter, Eos VanCise, the healer of Team Valor died in an accident on a mission along with another of her teammates. By magical succession (which was unheard of before then), the sister's powers were transferred to her younger sibling, Megurine, who struggled to understand the legacy of a sister she'd met once a year for new years festivities. Megurine did not know her sister well. She only knew the cheerful laughing young magician who studied at the prestigious sorcerers, but nothing more. With the magic came the memories as well. Her sisters entire life, up until the moments of her death were imprinted into Megurine's mind.

The VanCise came to retrieve their new heir, convincing Megurine to head to sorcerers. Though she had inherited both powers and skill, she was inexperienced in the magical realm. She refused to go through the schooling as the memories of her sister's studies were clear in her mind. Unable to return to her previous life and unable to rid herself of her sister's life, Megurine is now becoming what she hated the most, her sister's replacement.
Magical Abilities
Divine Skill ; Healing magic
Levels 1 to 3 of healing; from minor damage to moderately high injury.
Booster spells; speed, mana, agility boosts.
Prayer spell; small amounts of party healing
Recon spell; five minutes of regeneration and magically invulnerability for one person.
(Can only cast three recon spells per day - VanCise laws)
Healing Link; allows her to cast her healing magic through someone else. Link must be set up, in person with someone who is emotionally attached to her (or to her sister, through those memories), as in a close friend or trusted teammate. Lasts only for a few hours.
Battle response
She stood still and let the storm of leaves rip through her skin. It was just pain. She wasn't afraid of pain. As the bladed edges tore through her flesh, the skin began to heal. With every cut, blood spilled and the wound healed itself. By the time his attack was done, she was crouching on the ground, holding her bleeding shoulder. And within moments, only blood stains remained while she was in tact. "Is that all you can do?" She taunted, turning her cold eyes to her opponent. No matter what injury, if she was alone, she had the power to heal herself completely. If she was protecting others, then it was a different matter. Divine magic they called it, the power of the gods.

Megurine suffers from a form of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
When the trauma of having to become her sister's replacement and her sisters memories flooding into her mind, Megurine begins to lock away her own personality and memories, trying to become a vessel for her sisters remainders. It's possible for someone to break through this block in her mind, but Megurine herself, is unable to come up with a reason to discard Eos' remains and be herself.

Thank you!

For Megurine, I was thinking to have her appear to the Headmaster having been paged as a graduate. Since she's a healer, maybe they could send her via a second boat ?

Perhaps I can get her on the same boat as I plan for the magic council to use. Not totally sure yet. She can definitely be a graduate of Sorcerers, however.

Perhaps Hi No could attend on the same boat, as an hired applicant for a mentor position. He's too old to be a student, but a teacher would fit his position perfectly.

Name:
Anya Marina "Alice" Volkov
Age:
Nineteen
Physical Description:
A thin woman with a slender build and mysterious aura, Alice stands at five feet six, privileged with a lithe yet muscular body that was a result of her training in part of Darkness's troop. Her skin is a pale porcelain white, smooth and untouched- except for a jagged scar that rests between her shoulder blades, which she prefers not to discuss.
Alice's eyes are cat shaped; a startling lilac that seems to pierce through her target, and her hair is a white lavender combination that is usually tied into two loose twin tails. Alice's preferred attire includes loose fitting (but stylish) clothing of any type underneath her rabbit eared jacket.
Personality:
A sharp girl whose goal in life is to make it to the top of the food chain. Alice is a woman who acts and thinks only for herself; anything beneficial to her life is immediately made a goal for her to complete. Selfish and ambitious, Alice finds herself scheming to get her way every single time. Her methods are cunning, and her words are icy cold. Similarly, Alice doesn't trust anyone but herself to get the job done- not even Darkness himself. She has come up with a rule that she must rely on only her wits to get to her goal, no matter the amount of people she has to step on to get there.
However, this proves to be a deficiency for Alice in certain cases. The woman is insensitive and rather dense when it comes to sensing the emotions of others. Sure, she can manipulate people pretty damn well, but ask her to think about how others would feel, and she'd reply with a, "What do you mean?"
Likewise, though Alice only thinks for herself, she's not a spoiled brat. She knows when someone's better than she is, and knows when she's been beaten. However, no one besides Darkness has won her respect so far.
History:
Anya Marina Volkov was born in a small unknown town located within Russia, as a wailing baby of seven ounces. This is where you stop for a moment and smile at the fact a spanking new baby child was born into the world.
Okay, time to stop smiling. Anya's family was poor, and lived in a rusty old apartment: 2A. There was one room, a small and half functioning kitchenette, and one bathroom. The shower worked, but was incredibly small and a bit unattractive.
Anya's family was a family of four: Anya, her mother, Greta, her father, Mark, and her older brother, Sasha. Mark worked many jobs day to night, whilst Greta sold the trinkets she'd crafted from wood at the market, and Sasha had a part time job. Anya was far too young to work, and the other jobs didn't pay much, but they got by; they were happy. However, their happiness was shattered when her father and brother were enlisted in the army. At the time, Sasha was eighteen and Anya six. The day before Sasha left for war, he knelt down next to Anya, and handed her a small wooden bird that he'd crafted with Greta's help.
In the seven years the two were gone, Anya and Greta struggled with the issue of food. At first, they'd been able to cope with the money the government gave them, but the money soon wore out, and with Greta being the only money maker in the family now, the two nearly starved to death. That was when Anya first discovered her gift. It happened one day when she was searching on the streets, begging for food or money. As she turned her head, her eyes spotted a loaf of bread that a man had just put down. He'd turned away, and Anya was desperate; her mother hadn't eaten for four days. The girl snuck up behind the man and grabbed the bread. She turns to make her escape, but was much too late. The man had seen her, and was about to reach out and grab her when Anya fell through a hole.
Not just any hole, actually. This hole appeared right beneath Anya, who had made it without realizing. She found herself in a space where colors shone: violet, rose, azure, and beige floated around her. The colors of the cosmos were overwhelming. For a moment, there was panic, and Anya felt tears welling up in her eyes.
"I just want to go home."
And there it was. Another hole, only this time leading to her small apartment. Tentatively, the girl slipped through the hole, bread in her hands. A smile on her face, Anya ran up to her mother, who sat there motionless. She was about to announce the great news when she clasped her mother's hand:
It was cold.
Her eyes widened and her lips threatened to wail; she'd lost the last piece of family she had. Her sobs echoed through the small room all night.
Her father returned home a month later. He was blind, paralyzed in his right arm, and alone. By this time, Anya had mastered what she liked calling "Rabbit Holes", and was able to live independently. Her father, however, was diagnosed paranoia and PTSD, along with rather aggressive tendencies. The war had changed him, and Anya couldn't deal with his screaming and nightmares. So, a year after her father returned, she ran away. She was a coward, that one was.
Anya stepped into her little rabbit hole once more- this time, wishing to go to a place totally different from the world she existed in. With much difficulty, she managed to pry open a hole to The Gaze (Opening rabbit holes into other worlds is rather difficult, you know.). Before she jumped in, the fourteen year old girl swore to herself that she would be the best in this world; she would rise to the top and never have to endure the same tragedy again.
She wandered around The Gaze for half a year, attempting to learn more about the mysterious world. It was then that she met Darkness, a man who neared a striking resemblance of her late brother, Sasha. In the beginning, she mistook him for Sasha, and approached him, only to have Darkness threaten to kill her. Her response?
"You can't kill me if you can't catch me!"
But he did catch her, even breaking her precious wooden bird in the process. Stupid girl, you should know by now that Darkness wields a power much greater than your own. However, he didn't kill her. Instead, Darkness took an interest in the girl's power, and offered her the opportunity to be his 'apprentice' of sorts.
"Jumping through rabbit holes like that, it's as if you're Alice. How amusing."
Anya accepted, taking the name Alice on, and finally able to throw away her past. Of course in deals with Darkness, there's always got to be a catch, and Alice's was this: Darkness implanted an enigma within the girl containing a curse, one that would connect her to Darkness and enable him to draw power, emotion, and thoughts out from her.
Over the next five years, Alice received training in weaponry and martial arts, collecting various weapons from around The Gaze and the world.
Magical Abilities:
[ H A M M E R S P A C E ] : Hammerspace is the ability in which one is able to summon up pockets of dimensional space, and is also able to travel between them. Hammerspace users are sometimes able to open rifts to other universes. Alice uses Hammerspace as a [ S T O R A G E ] unit for her weapons, or as a travel unit which she nicknamed, [ R A B B I T H O L E S ]. With the exception of rifts, Hammerspace cannot be used to travel more than in a one mile radius. To travel, you have to picture your destination very clearly. It is easier if you have complete knowledge of the area around you. Major exhaustion occurs if you travel more than one mile or with more than one person. Alice is often plagued by migraines and is very lethargic at the most opportune moments due to the curse implanted within her.
Battle Response:
She smirked, confident of her abilities, "Oh hon, you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into." With that, Alice launched herself into a dash, rushing towards the male. He lurched right, causing Alice to stumble, but nevertheless, the female followed. Her opponent trusted a dagger in her direction, and Alice dodged; She'd gotten a slit on her cheek in the process, but hey, better than in the heart.
The wind was a surprise, though. She ha imagined him as more of a fire user. However, the thought flew from her mind as he sent several blasts of air towards her. The lady let out a chuckle, "Bottom's up!", and sank into the ground, reappearing several feet up into the air from a hole that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, bow and arrow in hand. Whirling around, Alice let the arrow loose, then let herself drop down into yet another hole, reappearing behind the male, "Peekaboo!"

Wow I missed a lot. ._.

My mouth hit the table when I learned Sakura's original character died. like wat.

Sorry for disappearing by the way everyone. Moving is incrediblly tedious and time-consuming. >.<

Yeah, Megurine's life is so sad >x<, yet I feel like it's very probable in lineage families :c

I kind of used Volitaire's description of his dead-healer-teammate and threw Megurine in as her sister-replacement. D: I'm so mean!

Yep, her name was Eos VanCise, and she was a wilder version of Mirai, basically. There's quite some backstory for Voli and her, I'm sure you can make use of it.

Also, welcome back, Rufiya and Sakura!

If it's okay, I'm going to change Megurine's last name to VanCise! :) Thanks! I'll ask Voli for more details :D

LOL wilder version of Mirai.... damn that would be a handful;!

But that also means the first years have students reflecting their seniors o-o that's cool!

Like Mirai is a somewhat reflection of Eos o-o
