Mind if I play an offspring character from two of the original X-Men? If not, I am completely fine with that. Just wanted to ask before doing. :D

Name: Richard Kennedy
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Position: Student

Personality:
ENFJ Strengths
Tolerant – ENFJs are true team players, and they recognize that that means listening to other peoples' opinions, even when they contradict their own. They admit they don't have all the answers, and are often receptive to dissent, so long as it remains constructive.
Reliable – The one thing that galls ENFJs the most is the idea of letting down a person or cause they believe in. If it's possible, ENFJs can always be counted on to see it through.
Charismatic – Charm and popularity are qualities ENFJs have in spades. They instinctively know how to capture an audience, and pick up on mood and motivation in ways that allow them to communicate with reason, emotion, passion, restraint – whatever the situation calls for. Talented imitators, ENFJs are able to shift their tone and manner to reflect the needs of the audience, while still maintaining their own voice.
Altruistic – Uniting these qualities is ENFJs' unyielding desire to do good in and for their communities, be it in their own home or the global stage. Warm and selfless, ENFJs genuinely believe that if they can just bring people together, they can do a world of good.
Natural Leaders – More than seeking authority themselves, ENFJs often end up in leadership roles at the request of others, cheered on by the many admirers of their strong personality and positive vision.

ENFJ Weaknesses
Overly Idealistic – People with the ENFJ personality type can be caught off guard as they find that, through circumstance or nature, or simple misunderstanding, people fight against them and defy the principles they've adopted, however well-intentioned they may be. They are more likely to feel pity for this opposition than anger, and can earn a reputation of naïveté.
Too Selfless – ENFJs can bury themselves in their hopeful promises, feeling others' problems as their own and striving hard to meet their word. If they aren't careful, they can spread themselves too thin, and be left unable to help anyone.
Too Sensitive – While receptive to criticism, seeing it as a tool for leading a better team, it's easy for ENFJs to take it a little too much to heart. Their sensitivity to others means that ENFJs sometimes feel problems that aren't their own and try to fix things they can't fix, worrying if they are doing enough.
Fluctuating Self-Esteem – ENFJs define their self-esteem by whether they are able to live up to their ideals, and sometimes ask for criticism more out of insecurity than out of confidence, always wondering what they could do better. If they fail to meet a goal or to help someone they said they'd help, their self-confidence will undoubtedly plummet.
Struggle to Make Tough Decisions – If caught between a rock and a hard place, ENFJs can be stricken with paralysis, imagining all the consequences of their actions, especially if those consequences are humanitarian.

Biography:
Rich was born in a small town, in New York. Life wasn't very interesting, in terms of being different. He came from a good family. In that, they accepted him for who he is. However, they did not know how to deal with him constantly breaking things. Wrecker was raised on good values but with his parents being unable to teach him how to use his gift, there wasn't much for him to be but experiment. There were a lot of ideas that either busted or floated away. No one else knew about it. It was like a dirty secret but he knew his family still loved him.

Often, the young man would go out for sports and of course the ability wasn't used. There were a couple of times he was tempted. Even so, he was an average athlete that did well in school. His favorite classes were music and gym. (Because lunch isn't a class). He was known as a class clown and it was something that was prided on.

But the ability had to come out sometime. And it was the last day of Sophomore year. He was walking home, and his head phones were in. The light was red but the truck driver didn't see it. Luckily, Rich seen him. The front of the 18-wheeler had a Mr. Kennedy sized hole in the front. The driver was killed when the semi flipped over the teen.

It was a hard sight to miss, said the 4th witness. They weren't in court, but it was a town discussion that wasn't going well. Before the torches were lit, they decided to move. To a point, he still resents himself for that day. Thankfully, being a teenager in this day and age allows for internet surfing. This is what helped lead him to hero work. He never thought about it before, but it makes sense. Growing up watching tv shows where the big bad does something evil and the good guys come in and kick his ass.

But before anything else, his parents ended up bring in a 3rd party. A place where he could be himself and learn what that means. This was the start of his stay at Xavier's Institute for Gifted Children.

Powers and Abilities:
Density Manipulation
User can manipulate the density and solidity of himself only. His body-tissue, skin, muscles, bones, etc. can be extremely dense/solid, allowing him to withstand harmful strains on the body such as crushing weights, impacts, pressures, and changes in temperature. With this, User also gains enhanced levels of strength and stamina, this is possible because of how hard the body has become, allowing resistance to tearing a muscle and/or their bones shattering easily. User can make himself so heavy he can break through almost anything or so light that it can just float away. Mind you, he can only do this for himself.
  • Enhanced Durability/Invulnerability
  • Enhanced Endurance
  • Enhanced Strength
  • Pressure Resistance
  • Skin Hardening
  • Unbreakable Bones
  • Immobility

Weaknesses:
  • If he isn't in control, they could either float away or be immobilized by weight.
  • Wrecker can not use this to fly as Superman or Iron-Man.
  • Has a real issue with not picking the largest enemy in the room to fight just to feel like a bad ass
  • Is far too rash with his own life.
  • Often has mood swings.
  • Is a liability as his style ends up breaking more things that necessary.
  • He has issues with seeing colors a certain way. This could be a big issue for tactics.
  • He is easily frightened/startled.
  • Currently he still doesn't have any formal, real training in hero work, fighting, etc.
  • If the right buttons are pressed, he can be pushed to do almost anything.
  • Poking fun or bullying is an effective method for manipulation or even neutralizing.
  • Even if he faces someone with less strength or endurance that he does that it is still very possible to to be taken down. (As he does not have much technique beyond "Punch this. Run through that.")
  • While his skin can take an very, very large amount of damage, once it is damaged, his wounds do not heal any faster than a normal humans. Recovery would depend on quality of care.
  • Overall, he does have a weak nose. It has caused a lot of gagging and vomiting incidents.
  • His senses can still be affected, as a human. Blinding, Deafening are VERY effective.
  • Illusions of his family are also very effective.
  • When very light weight, he is much more easily damaged and thrown.
  • He CANNOT manipulate the density of anything other than himself.
  • He has to "activate" the power. So if he is not ready to take a hit, the blow could be deadly if it is to a human.
  • User may sacrifice flexibility and speed for strength and durability.
Deeper Fears That can effect him
  • Heights
  • Snakes
  • Being Alone
  • Being Useless
  • Rejection
  • Embarrassment of any kind

Appearance:
edgerton3__140228163400.jpg
Height: 5'9
Build: Burly
Clothing: Generally wears a t-shirt and jeans, but also likes to dress up

Others: "Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in."

I was also wanting to make an OC who is the offspring of two canon characters (specifically the daughter of Beast and Abigail Brand).

If that's not something you want I have another OC idea lined up.

Name: Leire "Golemancer" Baldrson (First name is pronounced like Lie-ra)

Age: 25 (due to her mutations, she is practically unable to age)

Height: 6'6"

Gender: Female

Position: Professor of History

Personality (MBTI is INTJ): To describe Leire in a single word is difficult but possible: distant. She tends to be detached from the emotional side of things, though she does feel them all the time. She normally functions off logical, rational approaches and prefers thought before action. This, coupled with her dizzying thought process, tends to leave people behind or feeling like she doesn't care about anything. Many of her beliefs, thoughts, and actions can seem contradictory upon first glance, but within her thought processes, they always make sense and work together. Knowing her personality is not good for social interaction, she spent much of her teenage and adult life cultivating social abilities. She can express herself to a decent degree and puts a lot of energy into her relationships and projects. She holds herself to high standards and extends some of the standards to others. Those that work independently will find her critical and helpful with their work, but those that rely upon constant oversight will find her aloof and confused that they can't do it on their own. If a friend wants to improve and she possesses the skills to help, she will push them and drive them to improve. Her mind treats life like a massive game of chess or go. Pieces move, tactics change, things fall into place. Should she obtain a love interest, she will invest seemingly endless amounts of energy into the relationship. In general, though, she has a hard time providing emotional support and struggles with empathy. Anyone above her in the chain of command cannot use rank. She disregards rank and superiority in favor for holding them to standards. She challenges authority and social conventions, often ignoring conventions that do not make immediate sense to her. Those with thin skins will likely mistakenly believe she hates them or is an asshole. Really, she just states what she sees as coolly and directly as possible. If told it bothers the person or if she notices, she will likely try to temper it, but she will still not compliment. She uses her emotions as either a driving force or as a means to recognize problems in her life.

Biography: Born to a middle class family in Iowa, Leire's life was not cushy, but it was comfortable enough. She was the odd child of her family. Her siblings were social butterflies and athletes. She spent her time studying, playing games, or learning things. Her parents pushed her to join sports and go to dances and social gatherings, but these simply pissed her off. She also rebelled against being forced to go to church. Her parents kept attempting to force her, but she eventually got them to stop badgering her about it. Her powers manifested late, when she turned 19. She was in college. She managed to keep her mutant powers secret until she obtained her Master's in History from University of Michigan.

At the age of 24, soon after receiving her degree, her powers were found out. She couldn't pack up and leave in time. A mob seized her and dragged her to a wooded area. There, they tied her up to a tree and began stabbing knives into her. The hours of agony and pain held fast when the group left. She couldn't move due to the knives in her body. She could only hang in the tree and suffer the constant pain and building thirst. After a day, the pain had gotten too great for her to keep conscious and she blacked out. She woke to a Southern Creole accent and a pair of blazing red eyes. The knives were removed and her limbs were untied. Using her powers, she luckily had enough material to cover the wounds. The man introduced himself as Gambit and told her she would be safe where he was taking her. Not having any energy to argue, she gave a slight nod and slept to recover.

Gambit brought her to the Institute, where her degree set her up as a history teacher. Here, she learned that golems could be made with her powers as well as items. The first year had her honing her powers to the point of easy use. Gambit and her became friends, and she frequently jokes with him that he only untied her because of her boobs.

Powers and Abilities: Leire's powers have exactly three applications: self-enhancement, minion creation, and item creation. She can enhance herself by altering her density, exact composition, and form to suit her needs. This allows her to even regenerate her body should she be damaged and have available material. Minions created by her are golems and will follow her orders without question. They lack the ability to make intuitive decisions, but they can be taught friend and foe. She can alter their form after creation by adding, removing, or shaping material. Her item creation is limited to items that are simple, like melee weapons, simple hand tools. Though she seems to look human most times, her entire body is made of a clay-like material. She learned how to appear as human and even feels human to the touch unless she decides to change her form. This has rendered her sterile and removed the need to eat or breathe. She does, however, need to sleep. Her powers are centered on minerals, so she can create even metallic items or alter her body to be metallic. She has superhuman durability and strength. (She can readily lift 10 tons in clay form, but she can get up to 75 tons of lifting ability depending upon her whole body composition)

Altering her own body takes time. To alter to a substance of similar hardness and density, it takes a few seconds. The less similar the new form will be, the more time it will take. The longest a full body changes takes would be around 15-20 seconds. Single limbs take only a couple seconds to change, but this will not alter her lifting capacity. To change into a metallic form, she would require 30 seconds to alter her entire body. As such, she is more reliant upon golems and avoidance to allow time to adapt to changing battlefields.

Forming items takes almost no time, assuming the material desired is at hand. If it requires alteration prior to forming, she must take anywhere from 5-20 seconds to alter the substance to her needs. This timing follows the same paradigm as her self-alteration.

Minion creation is far less expedient. This takes a minute to form a single minion of any material. She cannot create multiple minions simultaneously. This power is relegated more to noncombat exercises or pre-combat prep than in battle creation. It also requires large amounts of material, so many places are unsuited to this application.

Weaknesses: Leire shares a bond with each golem she creates. When destroyed, she is hit with a non-lethal but large stab of sympathetic pain. This can, if applied multiple times in short time frames, knock her unconscious. Using her power to regenerate create requires sufficient materials in the vicinity. If denied minerals nearby or not desiring to weaken structural integrity, Leire will be restricted to self-ehancement. Her normal form and most mineral changes to herself make her basically non-conductive, but if she changes to a metal, she can become highly conductive or even magnetically active. Her base clay-like form acts like a human body without internal organs or bones to break, so she is vulnerable to cutting attacks and deforms with blunt attacks; she can reform the result of the blunt attack, assuming it didn't rip off pieces. When a harder substance like stone, she tends to become more vulnerable to blunt attacks. When metallic, blunt attacks likely deform her, but her real weakness is softening by heat. Her power disallows her form to deviate too far from a humanoid form. Her golem minions follow the same limitations. Her own body is heavily restricted in size. At most, she can alter her height by two feet. She also weighs a lot, relative to the material she is made of. (Clay-like baseline makes her weigh about 340 pounds) Despite not eating or breathing, Leire does still drink water. She only requires 1/10 of the water a human needs, but it can still lead to her dehydrating, which causes similar symptoms as humans with the added detriment of her body cracking and drying. This makes her sluggish and eventually immobile, in a form of suspended animation. If she is then submerged in water for a few hours, she will reanimate, likely also in a really bad mood.

Leire is not warm-blooded and in fact lacks blood. She adopts the temperature of her surroundings and thus feels that way. To reduce discomfort caused by her feeling cool, she normally covers her hands with gloves.

Her golems share an emotional bond with her. They mirror her mood and act accordingly. When she is happy, they tend to become passive and actually create deep, rumbling purrlike sounds. When their creator is angry, they stoop into a more aggressive stance and growl with the sound of shifting rock. This makes it hard for her to hide her actual mood if a golem is within sight.

Appearance:

Madelyne_Pryor_(Earth-616)_from_X-Men_Vol_4_12_0001.jpg

Others: Due to its lack of effect on her, she drinks alcohol and soda consistently. She claims it relaxes her, though the effect is most obviously just psychological. She has a Midwestern accent with no traces of Canadian influence. Her main hobbies are video games, harp playing, and sculpting. Most of her out of class time is spent alone. Identifies as an atheist, though she is by no means militant. She can change sex if desired and can change appearance, but she normally maintains her normal appearance. It is what she looked like her whole life and is preferred.

Ayanami.Rei.full.1356944.jpg

Name:
Ruka "Slice" Pearce

Age:
17

Gender:
Female

Position:
Student

Personality:
Ruka is a quiet girl who when in unfamiliar territory won't say much. She's somewhat cynical and bitter about the world, but other than that she doesn't express herself much. Loud noises can always startle her into a fight instinct and as a result cause someone to be seriously harmed. Ruka is afraid of her powers and what they will do to her and others. To this extent, she doesn't like to use her powers extensively, because she is always afraid of killing someone with them.

Ruka calls her arms Repentance and Wrath, and sees them as the angel and demon on her shoulder. Repentance tells her to remain calm and Wrath tells her to fight back against the unjust world around her. Most of the time she tries to side with Repentance, but when she feels threatened she will side with Wrath and become extremely angry and irrational. If she goes too overboard, tranquilizers may be necessary.

Repentance is quieter and keeps Ruka calm, but can also be a strong voice for justice and will provoke her into defending people who it thinks needs defending and will become extremely angry when lied to about anything. Because Ruka relies on this voice of reason more than the other, Ruka takes on more it's traits and often can't see how she's acting isn't really her own actions.

Biography:
Ruka was adopted when she turned ten years old, the family was heavily religious and quickly tried to ensure that the girl was respectable and also followed their belief system. Everything seemed to go well until Ruka turned fourteen and her ability started to manifest. At first the demon arms were only in her hands, and required half as much energy and food. However, things quickly became worse when her parents decided that a demon was possessing their daughter and called in a priest to deal with the problem.

He claimed that satan and an angel were battling for supremacy and that he could -with a large sum of cash- banish the demon and leave the girl with only an angel, thus making her a chosen one of God. After he was paid, he attempted to exorcise the demon to no avail, and thus was branded a phony. He and Ruka were out on their respective ears very quickly.

Now alone and on the streets with nowhere to call home, Ruka tried to survive on her own. However, she found herself always needing more food than was available, and eventually found herself using her ability to break into grocery stores to obtain enough food to last her for a few days. As time went on she grew more and more desperate. As she became more desperate the more people stepped in to try and stop her.

Eventually she was approached by Xavier and told that her life would better off the street and that she wouldn't need to steal food if she joined them at the school.

Powers and Abilities:
Demon Arms. In short, Ruka is able to shapeshift her arms into demonic forms that do different things. The long explanation is that they're not demonic, but rather look demonic because of the shift in energies inside of the arm. She has named the arms

  • Wrath is a spikier and tougher than the rest and tend to allow for stronger punches. This is a tiring mode when active and tends to drain fairly quickly when being actively used. However, this can also allow for somewhat faster reaction times and some prediction of what moves the enemy will make.

  • Repentance allows for a small shield to be constructed around the user at the trade off of movement. Repentance's shield is organic and therefore allows the user to feel the impact and pain of the attacks. While it's not transferred over to the body, it's still quite painful and distracting. As a result, when the user is at their limit she needs to recover by switching forms. Repentance had plates on the forearms that extend outward.

Weaknesses:
  • Wrath is slightly slower and takes the second most energy of the bunch. It burns energy even when not being actively used.

  • Repentance takes the least amount of energy, but the tradeoff is that she can't move while it is active at all.

  • Ruka is unable to change her arms back to 'normal' and thus cannot stop the flow of energy when an arm is active. Repentance is the only one where the ability can be switched on and off at will.

  • Ruka is constantly torn between the two arms' personalities, thus making her prone to outbursts when she feels unsafe, emotional, or like she's in a crowded space.

  • The arms are slowly expanding up her arm, and it is theorized that if they spread too far that the drain of energy will be too much and thus kill Ruka.
  • Ruka's ability means that she needs to eat and replenish energy quickly. At this effect she has a high metabolism.

  • Ruka's mental state is constantly torn between calm and angry, and is thus sometimes unstable.

  • Ruka believes herself to be a monster due to her demonic looking arms.

  • Ruka is a bit careless with her life, as she knows that she will probably die in the future because of her mutation.

  • Is afraid of seeing blood.

  • Has a phobia about needles and hospitals.
Appearance:
Ruka's first impression is that she is rebel with her blue hair and red eyes. The reality is that she actually doesn't actually want to stand out in the least. The blue hair is from a recent prank and the red eyes are a side effect from her power. She prefers clothing that is usually nondescript. Her face is soft and small, and she has a resting face always seems sort of sad and lonely.

Ah, RainDash, we meet again! XD

Hello again Cerulean! It's a small site after all!
Who knows, maybe our characters won't be trying to out sass the other this time. XD

Awww but that was so much fun! :D

That it was, but alas, Rika just doesn't have the sheer level of sass or bravado. She'd rather be in the corner of the room away from arguments.

While my dude will be off PROBABLY being Team Dad, at this point. XD

It's weird to see your name on a RP thread whilst browsing the forum.

Though I'm interested and definitely might join.

I would be interested in this! How many characters may one person have?

This looks really cool, I'll post up a character sheet tonight or tomorrow.

In the Interest Check you had asked if anyone wanted to headmaster, so I figured I could fill the spot, but I'd prefer to play a student, so if you wanted, I could do two. If you'd prefer everyone just had one, totally fine by me, too. ^_^
