Evening
Bubbly Wonderland -> Sweet looking place
Barstronk

Feeling satisfied with herself, Iphigenia returned to the group after successfully dumping Kyouko in the hedges off the road. By the time she returned to the group, they were already just about to their destination, but something seemed off. Off… as in, there was peculiar looking individual amongst the group. That was all Iphie had to think on the matter, for in the next moment, she was engulfed in a water bubble of unknown origin, which provided reason for the British to panic momentarily before she realized that she could breathe. She was confused; Iphie was literally just walking to a picnic, and now she was in some bubble-thing. From what she could see through her own bubble, her other classmates were also in the fluidic blue spheres. Focusing her attention nearly entirely on the orbs that prevented her movement, she nearly forgot about the oddly dressed man from before, who was now speaking again. He seemed to be having a difficult time forming words, probably because he was laughing. Up until now, Iphie had thought, although dubiously, that what was going on was part of the event –Perhaps Barlow was taking them all on a wonderful Zorbing adventure—but this far-fetched illusion was shattered as she watched, somewhat amused, as Mr. Barlow and his Zorb ascended high up into the air.

Free from the attention of the others, she giggled as his ride burst in a shower of raindrops, plummeting the barbeque loving man to his gruesome death on the cobblestone pavement below. Iphie watched this form of grotesque entertainment with rapt attention as she sat in her little bubble, an opened hand covering her mouth such that nobody could tell if it was twisted in a smile or opened in a gasp. Iphie was sorry. Mr. Barlow seemed like a cool bloke that would have been enjoyable to have as a teacher, but this gory development was the best entertainment she had had in a very long time.

It was the thought of the word 'entertainment' that dragged Iphie out of her bubble of amusement (unfortunately not the one that surrounded her) and back into reality. As entertained as she was, the predicament she found herself in meant that she had absolutely no control over the events that were currently unfolding, and absolutely meant that her own well-being was ultimately at stake. Iphigenia pried her eyes from the dead body of her homeroom teacher and focused on Fushinsetsu and the words that he spoke. His words seemed meaningless to Iphie, who still failed to grasp the gravity of the situation or how it was happening, but it had definite weight to it. Perhaps it was fate?

As the bubbles ascended to the heavens, the girl finally scowled. If this was happening, she was going to miss the Goodguygarry stream tonight. This motherfucking wanker Setsu…!

---

Pop!

Slowly regaining her senses, Iphie found herself… in a closet. Around her, she found a few of her classmates. She recognized a couple as from the picnic, and of course, she recognized one of them distinctly as Kyouko, the chuuni rich-bitch that she had put in her place earlier. She gave herself a wry smile as she observed her surroundings; unfortunately, there was not much to look at besides racks and racks of fur-coats, almost as if they were in some warehouse that sold clothes that were out of fashion. The British girl winced as a voice bellowed from a position behind her, and with an irritated disposition, she turned around to see a large opening to an equally unhappy man at the entrance to the stuffy fur coat room.

Senses still thoroughly scattered, Iphie looked at the man and the woman that approached them with a straight face that hid her annoyed and utterly confused emotions. From what she could piece together though, they definitely were not anywhere close to Ravenwood Academy. Hell, she didn't even know if this was a dream, yet, because those blokes that were speaking to her and the people behind her didn't seem like they dressed for this century. Her next instinct was to reach for her phone and call the embassy, but despite her phone working swimmingly, there was no reception. Regardless, she was the first to stand up and follow the bunch. She saw no harm in getting out of the small room she now realized was a coat check-in.

"Well bugger," said Iphie, speaking to the air and perhaps her classmates. "I suppose things could be worse."

Outside of the closet was a bustling scene that gave even Iphigenia pause; they were clearly in some sort of club, complete with dance floor and elaborate bars. But every detail of this place, small or large, gave the impression that Iphie was a girl not in the 21st century, almost as if she'd leapt through time. Every fine facet of this place seemed to scream gaudy 1920s!

Futiley swiping aside cigarette fumes and the horrid tobacco breath of a nearby patron, Iphigenia opened her mouth to get in her piece –Where she was, what happened, and where was a telephone were all vital questions that needed to be answered—but the trio of gaudily dressed partygoers continued on at their own pace. Despite her situation, Iphie would not be so uncouth to speak over these people, especially when she would have to yell to get anybody's attention.

It was only after a good exchange of words between the three did they finally address Iphie and her rag-tag group. Naturally, of all things to talk about, they spoke of drinks and not how Iphigenia had gotten there or any other series of important topics that should be addressed. Nonetheless, she put in her own piece in their discussion. If she was stuck in a club, she might as well have a drink to calm herself. She wasn't exactly of legal age to drink, but that was never particularly an issue. She had a fake ID too, so why not? Hot coffee with some whiskey was something she'd always liked.

"Perhaps some Irish coffee, then?" said Iphie, thoughtfully. She quickly followed up with a more pertinent question. "Do you have a telephone here?"

Annie looked down at Tsuki and gave the cat a smile, happy he was happy to see her. Unfortunately she couldn't spare him more than that as she needed to watch the area around them, but his contact was welcome and comforting. With every shadow that emerged from the mists around them she tensed and faced towards it, ready to strike. But they all safely resolved themselves into one of the students from the group. Soon enough all six of them were together. However that fact only made her more wary and tense. Now any other shapes that appeared were unknown quantities and likely hostile. And as far as she knew she was the only one in the group with any experience fighting. She was definitely the only one paying any attention to their surroundings as the others began to discuss things amongst themselves. She noticed the air was harder to breath with the mist everywhere and was glad for her stockings and jacket in the cold air.

Shun and Jason were fairly quiet, offering up little in the way of ideas. The two new girls had the smart suggestion of sticking together trying to find someplace to figure out what was going on. Yet the asshole seemed much more intent on showing off his own opinions than actually trying to do anything useful like following that idea. Apparently he was taking the man's words to heart and wanted to be some sort of hero. Her expression hardened and she turned to the group, "We need to move. Out of this mist. Now!" she snapped, fear lending ice to her voice, and pointing into the mist with her left hand, "Pick a direction and-" the rest of her words froze in her throat as the whispers in the wind became more audible. One in particular echoed loudly in her mind, "Forfeit."

The scream of the wolf snapped her mind back to reality and she saw the shape charging towards the group. As terrifying as the sight was she found herself moving as her training took over. The shape was aiming at the nearby Shun and she sidestepped to avoid its path and strike its flank as it passed, hoping to dissuade its attack. Yet as she readied a thrust to take the eye it leapt into the air towards the RA. She desperately swung her knife upwards but barely managed to scratch the animal's flank before it was past her and tearing into Shun. Then the wolf was past him and disappearing into the mist as the whispers rose once again.

"Forfeit." She swallowed hard and tightened her grip on the knife, glancing at the thin film of blood over the tip of it and then at the RA's wound. She needed a sword, not a damn knife. As Shun took off running she followed him, lagging behind everyone else thanks to her leg. She was constantly looking behind her, trying to drown out the sounds of the mist with the situation at hand. But the word still echoed in her mind with every iteration, "Forfeit."

Arriving at the cliff she briefly looked down, gauging its depth. It was not a drop she was exactly willing to take. But they didn't have much of a choice. She turned around and faced the way they had come from. There was no shadow against the mist yet. Looking down she saw her right hand was shaking with the knife in its grasp, her left was little better. "Forfeit." She swallowed again and shook her head, trying to dismiss the whispers again. "Hurry up." she hissed, not caring what decision the others chose to make. She was too focused on defence to think about what to do, she'd follow the majority for now. She realised she was panting as the activities of today began to add up and take their toll on her fragile body. "Fuck." she whispered.

Annie snapped at them to pick a direction and go when suddenly the whispers appeared in his minds loud and clear. This caused akio to falter and turn just as a shape leapt at them. He let out a shout of warning just as annie who was closer to Shun attacked the wolf. He had to admire her bravery and now he got confirmation of what he thought earlier, she had training. He began to move forward but by the time he got there the wolf was fading into the woods. Shun began babbling and took off on his own with annie following close behind. He only looked once at the woods before taking off soon passing annie and catching up to Shun. His steps were as graceful and as quick as he moved swiftly over the wet grass and land. He kept glancing back though if he was was watching for the wolf or those who lagged behind he didnt know himself. He just kept running, he wanted to live but he wanted the others to live as well. They didnt deserve to die in such a pointless way.

He reached the cliff swiftly and looked over the side. There was only mist from what he could see so telling how far it was down was impossible but he heard running water below. He turned and looked at the others reaching the side of the cliff face and he looked back at the mist behind him. By this point he couldnt tell if the moisture on his forehead was water or sweat. He took stock of the situation. Annie was breathing hard and had lagged behind the whole run. As winded as she was it would be difficult for her to fight. He couldnt see the other 3 as fighters, they didnt have the same walk that betrayed a skilled fighter unless they were hiding it. He looked over the cliff face. They couldnt fight that wolf behind them, its natural weapons and stamina would kill them all one after another. If he had a weapon he might have considered it but there was no way they'd survive the fight.

As he heard the words one echoed in his head, bringing up a memory. "Life." He said under his breath. Part of him wanted to jump now, if he left them behind he may have a higher chance of survival. Annie was a decent fighter but she was crippled, the other 3 werent warriors and they were in a combat situation. If he went alone he'd likely survive. He remembered his father, at the funeral of one of his comrades who had died and he had shaken his head when he thought no one was looking and had muttered. "What a waste." When he asked his father why he had told him that he had sacrificed his life to save strangers. If he had lived he may have saved others without needing to sacrifice himself, he could have watched his children go up, he could have done so many other great things. These people were strangers to him, he knew one of them only in passing and it had been one of hatred on her part. She had wanted to stab him, what did he owe her or any of them.

His legs were tensed and he was getting ready to jump by himself when he paused. If one of them decided not to jump they would die here. If the hesitated even the wolf may not give them a chance if it returned. They may even die in the water underneath them. He found it strange he didnt want strangers to die even at the risk of his life. He found himself willing to risk his life to protect strangers. "We all need to jump." He found himself snapping over as he turned. "There is running water down there, i can hear it." He stared at the mist behind them and around them as if he could perceive every danger through the mist, relying with his ears as much of his eyes. "It may be a river, it can carry us down steam." He stood there, he would be the last to go. That he decided the moment he decided not to leave right then with or without them. He had all but promised to get everyone out alive, so that was what he would do. Besides he had the best chance of survival either way. The wolf would kill him if he fought, but maybe even if he had to defend for a moment he could stun the wolf and get away. He may be injured but he was confident in his ability to stay afloat even then.

|Magic in a Gem|
The eight Knights stood at the ready, prepared for whatever mysticism their accused targets could weave. The Captain eyed the three students through the vented visor of his helmet. Their black uniforms being the cut of the same cloth gave off the appearance of Cult wear, in his eyes. His paranoia drove him further behind his shield.

"None sir! I'm not too sure what happened either."

The long haired male's eased tone set the Knight off. He almost felt that the boy was being coy. Playing a part. The seven Knights behind their perturbed Captain, curious of what orders he'll soon shout. "Men." The Captain whispered. "These three could be holding an Artifact from Mi' Lords Soulforge..." A Knight took a heavy, single step forward encroaching within earshot. "Sir, we should force them audience with our Lord." He suggested, taking an effort to keep his voice down. "Nay'." The Captain disagreed. "Gods know what magic they weave. We could be playing with Death right before our eyes. Return to formation. All of you!" The seven Soldiers recalled back to their original formation, standing behind their Captain standing in a diamond shaped formation. "You are to be coy with me? How do I know you do not intend for me to lower by position for a trap! I will not have it! Men follow my lea-" Just then, a pillar of hard packed soil slammed into the Captain's jaw. A loud twang rang from the impact against his helmet. Audible as it was damaged. Around the jawline of his helmet was greatly indented. The sheer force of the impact was enough to send the heavily set Knight off his feet. As he fell to the ground, a peculiar gem flew from the space between his helmet and curiass. The sudden attack startled the following men, they shook and swayed their heads looking for the source of the attack, and if there are to be any tells of when it'll happen again. From the treeline cutting into the road to the East, a single man slowly strolled from the shade of the forest into the pale light under the gray sky. His entire outfit was worse for wear, most notably his long coat was tattered around the ends and the right half of the skirt was torn off completely only leaving his left thigh to be concealed. The remaining Soldier all turned to face the mysterious man who appeared to be approaching them, who appeared to be staring them down maliciously. "Keep your distanc-" The man rose his right hand, hidden under a black winter glove. In sync with his movements, a circular wall of Earth rose around the seven Knights trapping them in a dry dirt prison. The ground began to rumble, soon intensifying into harsh tremors. The ground within the Earth prison crumbled and caved into a sinkhole, swallowing the Knights. The last thing heard before the wall fell was the varied screams of falling men. As the wall fell, so to did the hole fill itself. The man shoved his hand back down into his pocket. He continued forward until he found himself standing over the defeated Captain, stamping his foot down over the glowing purple gem lying by his shoulder. The Captain attempted to speak but could only utter incoherent mess due to the shattering of his jaw. "Hypocrites get buried too." The man kicked the Captain's body further away, and reopened the sinkhole filled with panicked soldiers subjecting him to the same fate as his men. He turned to face the three students propped up on the hill. More than likely vexed by the proclivity of their situation. "You're obviously not from this time." He stated, sighing through his teeth in light aggravation. "You can come with me, and I'll explain everything when we arrive at the village down the rI oad. Or you can go your own way. I'm not stopping you, whatever you do." The man said before taking the gem from under his boot and returning back into the forest.

| Path to Smoke |
| @PandaChu |

It took a few moments for Nascha to realize that her bum was resting against a solid surface. She rested her hands on the ground and stretched out, sighing at the sound of dirt being jostled by her tennis shoes. There was no doubting that she was no longer at the park. Movement around her jogged her memory of hearing another girl in the void and she turned around to see her. She was a petite girl, much smaller than Nascha herself.

"W-where are we?"

That was a good question. Nascha forced herself to her feet, almost falling back down again as her legs shook under her weight. To calm herself, she tuned her ears to the birds and kept her sights on her companion with no name. "I-I'm not sure," she responded, gathering herself and stepping toward the blonde as the girl felt around for her cane. It was at that moment that Nascha realized that the girl truly had no idea where they were because she couldn't see.

"N-naschu?"

If the circumstances were different, she would have smiled and corrected her. "I'm right here," Nascha reassured, lightly touching the girl on her shoulder. "We're in the middle of a road right now, surrounded by trees," she began describing. "I see smoke over the trees. Probably from a fireplace? There is a path that seems easy enough to walk down." She stopped, wondering if they should take it. No one else was with them and something told her that they should get moving. Where there is smoke there is usually a fire, and where there is fire, there is usually people. "I think that is where we should be headed," Nascha decided. She turned her companion in the direction of the path and hoped that they would start walking. "I won't be leaving you, so you make the decision." With her permission, Nascha took the girl's hand and they began walking in search of friendly strangers or familiar faces.

'Well that's not good.' It hardly was a good sign when the man that had spoken crouched down even further, hiding more of himself behind the massive shield. Kir kept his hands where they were and tried to stay as still as possible as he observed the eight below the three of them. Any sudden movement on his part would probably be taken by the Knights as a prelude to some witchcraft, as they put, he was about to cast. The idea might have been ludicrous just an hour earlier, but now? Well, Kir was willing to entertain that magic was a thing in this world. 'Oh boy...'

It unsettled him to watch the Knights fall into formation once more after their discussion came to an end; as if an ultimatum for the three of them had been reached. He grimaced as the man shouted out towards him and used that brief shift in expression to whisper, "Move it," to the other two. Even as he braced to turn himself around and bolt from the heavily armored figures, a slight rumble under his feet gave him pause. A sharp twang caused him to refocus on the men below just in time to watch the leader get blown off his feet by a pillar of earth that delivered an uppercut to the man. Even as his mind registered that magic did in fact exist, Kir broke into a run along the top of the hill's slope. While the want to put some distance between all of this was still strong, it was now coupled with the desire to watch exactly what happened. He couldn't have made it more than 100m before what unfurled before his eyes, along with the much more violent shaking under his feet, forced him to halt and try to keep his footing.

"Holy crap," he muttered in shock and awe as he watched the earth rise and swallow the armored men, shivering as their death cries were smothered by tons of earth. There was something more visceral to seeing magic actively being used to snuff out lives rather than simply acting in assistance to gravity. Kir's eyes remained glued to the scene and he winced at the brutality displayed by the newcomer, apparently mercy wasn't a word that applied to the knights for him. 'Did he do this to help us, or was he killing two birds with one stone?' The thought popped into his head after the man had addressed them and then turned his back to them, leaving the three with a choice to make.

Despite how easily the eight had been disposed of, Kir couldn't see any real reason to not follow this unknown individual. Was he dangerous? Without a doubt, but the entire world around him could be just as bad. Whoever the man was, he had helped them out of a bind even if it was to serve his own interests, and he knew about what had happened apparently. It was a golden opportunity for the possibility of information on what the hell was happening and protection. He turned to the other two and nodded towards the forest before he glanced at the spot where eight men laid buried. "Not sure about you two, but I'm following the strange man."

Korrey could only nod, quickly turning away from the guy towards the meeting area, already feeling like he was screwed. Not only was he getting a strike for being late, he just remembered that the school had a uniform, one that he had forgotten in his rush to make it on time. So that would likely be strike two, and if they found Monty, than he was O.U.T Out of here. That would be beyond embarrassing, and how would he explain this to his mother, who had been so proud of him when he got accepted. 'Man, I really screwed the pooch on this one, didn't I.' Korrey sighed, as staying in the back of the group and ignoring everyone else, glad that no one had tried to talk to him right now. What was the point of making friends, if he was going to just leave them soon anyways. As he sank into a depression, he felt a little nudging at his ears, and he looked over to see Monty giving him a disgusted look, that is, if rabbits could give looks of disgust. 'What's the matter with you!?!' it seemed to say, 'Are you really going to give up before you've even tried, is that the person all those years of bullying has turned you into!'

Now Korrey had no idea if Monty really was thinking this way, or he was just deluding himself and going crazy, but he soon found that he didn't care. Whether he was imagining it or not, he wasn't going to just give up and let himself get kicked out of this school without a fight. Upon reaching the site for the cookout, he hid Monty inside his hood, hoping that the rabbits small size and black fur would help it remained unnoticed by the teacher. Then he made an effort to remain unnoticed as the teacher arrived, greeting them and was about to take role it seemed, when he was interrupted by a weird blonde guy with weird gauntlet's on. 'Wait, are those connected to his skin, that's sick, and not in the good way.' Korrey thought in slight disgust, but his thoughts were soon cut short as bubbles suddenly came from the sky and snatching people up. "What the fuck!?!"

Korrey attempted first instinct was to run, but he hesitated, looking back at the others and was about to try something, anything to help them escape, when a bubble cam and got him to. He cursed again, and tried to pop the damn thing, but the bubble seemed highly resistant to his attempts. Looking down at the blonde bastard who did this, he wanted to shout at the bastard, ask him what the hell was going on. But then he saw the teacher rise up in a bubble, much higher than the rest of them. 'What is he. . . . Oh God, no, he isn't.' But he did, Korrey could only watch in horror as the man fell, turning away at the last second as the man hit the ground, not wanting to see the aftermath. As the blonde continued his crazed rant, Korrey couldn't help but shake with anger, both at this guy's insanity and his inability to do anything. 'This is probably the only time I wished I was the demon everyone said I was, then I could at least do something to this homicidal bastard.'

Korrey eyes opened again when he felt the bubble ascend, regretting it as he soon saw the remains of Mr. Barlow, nearly vomiting from what he saw. And then, there was nothing, he was surrounded by darkness, with only a few stars to light the void. Faint specks of hope in an ocean of despair. 'Where ever I end up, I hope it's not with that maniac. I wonder if everyone else is okay, hell, I wonder if I'm going to be okay?' Korrey looked on into the dark void that surrounded him, a decision already made up in his mind. No matter whart happened, he was going to survive, and he'd do his best to help any other students he came across. The only thing he knew how to do was fight, and that might come in handy where ever they went. Or it might be absolutely hopeless. 'Wow, that positive attitude held up for about a second before the pessimism came back. Wonderful.'

BUBBLE FUN!(Not!)
"What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck."

Patrick took rapid breaths, trying to figure out what had just happened. Some sort of....freak had showed up out of nowhere. With a gulp as he tries to process what had just happened. He's also repressing the urge to vomit. He seemed to be trapped in some sort of bubble...thing. Before the event Patrick had liked bubbles as much as the next kid, popping them was fun, they were easy enough to get, but he had better things to do.

As of now, Patrick decided he really, really hated bubbles. Especially being inside of one, being thrown through a sort of bubble portal void thing. And what was that about villains and heroes? Nobody would want to be a bad guy right? It had to be such a terribly lonely path...shaking his head, Patrick focuses on the void in front of him, it had to end sometime right? he just had to stay calm and, wait, is that a light?

POP!

Booze and Smokes
Disoriented and startled, Patrick simply let himself get shuffled along by Betty. He atill couldn't quite deal with the fact that their teacher was dead. He had seemed like a nice man, why did he have to die? Was it re-

stop it! Patrick shouts at himself inside, he wouldn't allow himself to freeze with what could have been. He had to focus on the here, and the now. He reached for his sketchpad, maybe that'd help calm him down, only to freeze. "Where is it? Where did it...?" He mutters to himself, still unable to really think about those around him. With a start he realzies what happened. Echo had been doing some sketching when they'd been shipped into bubbles. Sighing he leans back, finally listening to the offer for drinks.

Patrick is, for a short time, tempted to ask for the hinted at liquor. He knew it would cloud his mind and let him forget what had just happened. But as he looks around, he sees this classmates, he couldn't let them down. At the same time, he couldn't quite turn the nice lady down, and he didn't THINK Sarsparilla's would be Alchoholic, she wouldn't have offered if they were.

"I-I'll take a Sarsparilla, thank you." He isn't quite sure what to say, so he blurts out what he hears next. "I'm sorry I look like your son!"

Patrick was clearly frazzled, to say the least.

Night? | Park > Fragment | Kal's group

Honestly if it wasn't for the fact that everything felt so very real Puck would have easily justified the sudden appearance of Fushinsetsu and the subsequent trapping of everyone in bubbles as a really weird dream. Unlike others who reacted violently when trapped, Puck didn't really appear to do anything. They were simply too bewildered and caught up in trying to justify what was going on to actually act upon anything. Unfortunately, the thing to take Puck out of their web of thoughts was the sound of Mr. Barlow's death. Honestly if it wasn't for the fact that they haven't eaten yet Puck probably would have retched. Needless to say, moving through a void did not do anything to help ease their stomach.

Neither did falling down, which hurt, and certainly having others fall on top of them did nothing other than to hurt even more. When Puck was finally able to stand up they let out a couple of good coughs into the crook of their arm in an attempt to loosen the constricted feeling in their chest. Afterwords they took an experimental deep breath and decided that they were good to go, though still a little bit uncomfortable. Only after the fact did they realize how weird that must have seemed, and silently hoped that no one noticed.

Once the group left the coat check and entered the main bar area Puck was practically blindsided by the tobacco smoke, and they had a bit of a hard time taking a full deep breath, though they tried not to let it show. When offered a drink Puck decided to go with what they saw as the safest option.
"Um, I'll have a sarsaparilla, please." Puck said. To anyone who had heard them talk before, their voice sounded noticeably weaker.

He was laughing! A lot. Why? About Kyouko's question? About Kyouko?! First Iphie her loyal minion, who she would pay back soon™, and now Shun! It was just her first day and it looked like keeping the promise she made her family, excluding her dad. Though any aggressive thoughts or attempts the girl would have come up with were easily shattered as she was faced with the harsh reality: No tigers. And by the time the soon-to-be-Queen recovered from the shock attention was already elsewhere, constantly shifting but ultimately stuck at this new guy. It was all so fast, at first the girl was on the bench, sitting, but soon changed to jump onto the table, strengthening the grip on her Shinai, if just to calm herself about the unescapable imprisonment she found herself again... this guy hadn't the same uniform as the rest...which meant he wasn't of this school, safe to say their classmate? Good. Very good. Since it never even came to her mind she couldn't breath in this bubble she didn't pay much attention to it, apart from the fact she was trapped inside. Pointing her Shinai at him she yelled. "Oy you punk! Stop acting all high and mighty! Trapping I, Kyouko, inside this puny prison?! Got no balls to take even one of us on? Fine, I, Kyouko, beat the crap out of you with just my right hand if you're that scared!" It wasn't detectives work to combine 1:1, and for Kyouko, this asshole was a baddie.

Not matter how much Kyouko rambled on, no one paid any attention to her, but she probably didn't mind, especially as the gruesome death of Mr. Barlow followed, the death of a real human being, someone just like her, while definitely not as great of a person as Kyouko was, he most likely had friends, families, dreams, goals, sad moments, happy moments and all those things too. But in just a small fragment of time it all simply stopped, just like that. Sure, it wasn't like Kyouko had promoted annoying assholes into a hospital, but she never killed anyone, and even if she was about to continue this path down, with 18, 20, she had her own sort of moral in which she wouldn't just simply kill. Nonetheless, it happened, it happened in Kyouko's vicinity...and Kyouko? She simply kept throwing a fit, either she hasn't realized the teachers demise or it was just her way of dealing it.

Finally, Fushinetsu continued his 'speech', which only changed the content Kyouko was spilling at him, not just playing all high and mighty now, but even going so far to call her mediocre?! "Boring and mediocre?! We see about that once I, Kyouko, am Queen of the World you fucker!" And as far as his talk about the hero and villain bullshit had gone, it was simple: Kyouko was right and everyone else who disagreed with her wrong. Heck, she wasn't even intimidated when he pulled out the most unhandy weapon one could ever imagine for fighting, fine, instead of a fist fight they would go at it with Shinai vs Scythe, easy! Though everything came different, and as they ascended higher and higher into the air the girl wasn't thinking 'Am I, Kyouko, going to die too?' or 'Oh shit what his happening?' No, instead she thought 'Weeee! I, Kyouko, am flying!' Without a plane! And somewhere not so deep in her heart, between the sorrow she actively burrowed and the feelings of fear she denied, there was this small reality that defined her fine chuuni-side, hoping and excited to be happy about that boring everyday life she tried so much to escape, even if that escape equaled death.

*POP*

Kyouko landed, rather smooth, on someone else, somewhere unknown. "Urgh..." Was this afterlife? Or maybe her hopes really came true and she was now in some fantasy world full of knights, dragons, demonlords and such?! Or -a good look around the place- just somewhere else? Apart from the sudden change in scene, there was nothing hinting at being somewhere new. The disappointed child in Kyouko stubbornly decided otherwise however. Obviously she had to stand up first, and giving the entirety of the wardrobe another look she counted a few of her classmates, including. "My loyal minion!" That she had to put into place better sooner than later. Her attention quickly shifted however as some adults spoke up, really shady looking adults at that! At least in Kyouko's eyes...they reminded her about her father and a few of his goons in some way. Disgusting. Only now Kyouko realized her hand hurt from the strong grip she had around the weapon, though regarding the circumstances, the girl didn't plan to loosen it up.

Kyouko Hiruma was for once, not loud at all, as if some mean ominous force did not allow her to speak up. The girl was busy ordering her thoughts, in way it it would make Kyouko kind-of sense, and the disgusting smell around the room as they followed those damn adults didn't help it. And as they were given choices she regained some of her usual self. "Aaaallllright." She responded in her usual loud voice. "Where the fuck are we? Where are the others? Was I, Kyouko, the only one who just witnessed this cocky little asshole playing around with us?" And there was also the death of a teacher...of course, in Kyouko's mind that never happened! Not to mention that, according to Kyouko, one had to always move forward she pointed her free hand towards the person who made her the offer."I, Kyouko, want a Sarsaparilla!" Of course she also knew they had to stay together, but that they would just maybe split upon this simple decision was something that hasn't come to her mind. "...and some fresh air too!" It wasn't like she was not used to this here and there, but that didn't change the fact that Kyouko hated it.

The wolf came out of nowhere, a great grey beast, larger than a normal wolf like one would find roaming yellowstone park - no, this was a direwolf, a big bastard, and longer in the legs than the smaller, less extinct species. Evidently, this world didn't follow the same rules that theirs did. Before anyone could do anything, it leapt, flying through the air straight at Shun, Annie just grazing it with... where did she get a knife from? had she had it, all this time? He was glad he hadn't provoked her anger any further earlier, or she might have turned it on him back there.
The wolf had luckily run off, faded back into the mist, but he'd left an injured Shun, who, despite his scream of pain and fear earlier, was seeming like he was acting alright - babbling, unfocused, clenching his arm, and it was bleeding badly, he'd need that bandaged, if not sewn up, though he doubted anyone had a sewing kit. Shun ran off with Annie following behind him, and Jason came too, but he needed to bandage that damn arm.
As they went, Jason retrieved his wallet, and took from it an odd-looking card, segmented and metal, painted black. A few folds proved it not to be some strange credit card, but a knife, practically stored, with a few multitool functions to boot.
Walking over to where the others had stopped, he carefully approached the cliff. There wasn't that much wind here, but for all he'd seen, anything could happen here.
The bottom was invisible, but he could tell that it was going to be a long fall, and like the other boy had said, one could hear a river flowing, only just though, far below - far too far to jump down.
He looked back to where Shun was standing, his arm still bleeding. That definitely needed to be bandaged.
"Shun, we need to bandage your arm - we don't want you losing blood, and maybe wolves can smell blood too. Either way, bleeding isn't going to do you any favours."

The whole ordeal was just too much, too frightening and too unnatural and strange for Echo to handle. Already she felt like she was falling into insanity driven by fear, but at the same time she was too numbed by shock to feel anything besides Patrick's notebook, which she still had and somehow had managed to cling against her chest through both their little flight as well as the crash landing and confrontation with whoever these people were. Some she knew were students on her floor, but beyond their slight familiarity, everything was unknown and further added to Echo's state of despair and confusion.

Soon however, things started to progress, and Echo remind stilled and frozen as the original confronters were swallowed up by the earth below them, leaving behind only a strange man, who one of her fellow students suggested they follow. At first the girl wished to protest the idea of following the stranger anywhere. It was then however that Echo realized that all of them were strangers, but at least if she remained with her fellow students, she'd be less likely to come in harm's way. She hated it though, so reluctance was clear in her still numb voice as she added her own words into the mix.

"I just want us three to stay together, but in all honesty, we have few options better than following him... At least he may take us somewhere that has food or something, and he seems to understand some extent of our situation. At least time wise." Echo was barely able to speak over a whisper, but she managed to speak regardless and waited patiently for responses from the others so they could decide as a group what would be best. Or perhaps not, since she could be the only one concerned with them sticking together. She sure hoped not though, since being alone like this would be simply too much.

To her dismay, her companion also did not know where they were and seemed also frightened by the sudden change of events but luckily her companion turned out to be the girl from earlier who had introduced herself and flinched when a hand was placed on her shoulder gently but she didn't move away as 'Naschu' described the scenery around them. A smile would form on her lips feeling grateful that that Naschu was considering her disability to see and helped her at least know their situation better,"Thank you, I can see where we are now." Camilla said happily now getting a more clear picture of their surrounding but it seemed odd that they were in a forest and even on a path leading towards a smoke.

Camilla wasn't sure but it felt odd to her especially after what had happen to them with that man and their homeroom teacher... the poor old man. Camilla didn't know what 'Uvennlig' - a nickname she gave that mad man for now since she doesn't remember his name well - did to their homeroom teacher but she did know that the guy didn't survive as she shivered just remembering that dreadful sound,"This has to be a trap... what if we're just walking right into his hands..." Camilla thought as she lightly gripped on Naschu's hand,"To be a hero or a villain... to shine or to fall... what have I got myself into? This must be a dream but... it feels so real." Lost in a argument between 'what ifs' and 'what nots', Camilla just couldn't tell what was real anymore and has even doubted Naschu as someone who could be like Uvennlig but dismissed that thought. Naschu didn't seem to mean any harm and she was with her in that mess... she couldn't be bad.

"Ugh... my head is killing me." Sighing, she finally surrendered her thoughts and just went with the flow of things whether this was a trap or not. Naschu said that she wouldn't leave her so all she could do was trust and follow with whatever but then it hit her that she haven't even told Naschu her name,"Ah... M-my name is Camilla but you can call me Mia. Sorry for the late introduction." Camilla apologized hoping it would help them get a bit comfortable with each other until they reach the smoke of whatever awaited for them.

+Matthew Ashford+

It seemed Mr.Barlow had finally arrived and had began his job of initiating the meeting. Being as cynical as he was, Matthew didn't have high hopes for the quality of the food that was promised, however, he was happy to finally feel like he wasn't cast adrift in this new country - everything seemed to be coming together. He strolled closer to the main congregation and crossed his arms, listening intently to what his new homeroom teacher had to say.

"First, we will do a roll call."

Matthew snickered under his breath at the militaristic sounding terminology. The whole school was a far-cry from the gritty, run-down public school that he had attended back in England. The fact that what was once simply known as 'register' was now being referred to as role call was quiet alien to the young boy and something about that tickled him slightly. Regardless, Matthew settled himself and listened intently for his name.

"Let us begin with the first student.
Is there an Ech...-"

As if out of nowhere, from some ethereal place, a menacing voice interrupted the elderly teacher and began on a tyrannical monologue. There was a sinister element of sarcasm to this new voice... and not the good kind. Finally, the source of the voice was revealed as the figure of a boy manifested itself on one of the picnic benches, its demeanour casual yet imposing, its aura not of this world. The way this newcomer talked, the way he appeared from nowhere... this wasn't right. Setting his feet solidly into the ground, Matthew strengthened his fist, blood carrying a supply of adrenaline around his body in preparation for a fight. A shadow appeared around him and as he looked up to see its creator he became enveloped in a watery bubble. Kicking and punching, he tried to break free of this peculiar prison but it only contracted and compressed in correspondence with his movements. "What the fuck?" he cursed, struggling even harder. Suddenly, the new figure sent Mr.Barlow flying into the sky before bringing him plummeting back down... back down to his death. The ghastly cracking of bones and the tearing sounds of flesh sent a shiver down Matthew's spine as he tried to avert his gaze from the sight. He began to sweat uncontrollably, nausea taking prevalence as his body began to shake with the desire to escape. Oh my god, what the fuck... what the absolutely bloody fuck... this... isn't bloody right... this is... His mind was flooded with a thousand panicked thoughts a second. His stomach churned as the bubble began to float upwards. Shit! Was this how it was going to end? Some random event that didn't even seem physically possible? Preparing for the bubble to pop, sending him plummeting to his doom, Matthew tensed his whole body and clasped his eyes shut. However, there was no pop, for that matter there was no wind, no bird song, no nothing. He opened his eyes to a feast of nothingness, nothing but a barren empty void barely lit by a few distant star-like entities. The atmosphere, or lack thereof, left a chill to settle into Matthew's bones, causing him to shiver slightly.

As if observing the birth of a new sun, a bright flash exploded from the darkness causing Matthew to shield his eyes. Everything went white for a moment as he remained dazed, however the familiar sound of a pop signaled that he was no longer trapped. Unbeknown to where he was thanks to a lack of vision, Matthew's bones were warmed by the new temperate atmosphere, his ears stricken by the familiar sound of distant, muffled jazz. Where am I? He thought to himself, quizzically. As his vision returned to him, his question was still not answered. This alien room full of coats left no clues as to the meaning behind the events of the last day.

Pop!

Falling not two feet away from him, dropping from above as if from nowhere, the remains of their bubble splattering the ground around them, was a fellow student. He recognised the newcomer having seen them in the group, however, he hadn't yet had the pleasure of being introduced. Rolling over to his side in some sort of pseudo-sitting up position, he shuffled towards them.

"Hey," he asked concernedly, "Are you oka--"

Pop! Pop! Pop!

"What the-!?" Matthew gasped before letting out a grunt of pain as the other three students crashed down atop him and Puck, pinning him, belly-down, to the ground. Before any of them could react, a voice was heard from behind as a couple stumbled across the group. Their accents, their dialect, the coats housed in the room: all were reminiscent of the 1920s era. But that was preposterous, surely! They would soon be dawning on the centenary of that period of time!

"Don't get all sore, Barn, I'll take 'em to Betty," Matthew heard the woman say before she bade them all to follow. The girl with the sweater, the one that looked about his age with the no-shit attitude, finally clambered off of Matthew's back to follow this new woman as did all of the others.

"You're welcome," Matthew sighed sarcastically before dusting himself off and pulling himself to his feet. Leaving the closet, Matthew's senses were assaulted by an atmosphere so alien he might as well have been on a different world - he might well have been for that matter. The smoky room, filled with chattering suit/dress clad occupants reeked of whiskey and cigarettes yet also an air of sophistication. The jazz that had once been muffled could be loudly heard as the band picked up the tempo. It was like nothing he had ever seen before. Even the jazz clubs back home didn't have authenticity like this. Tapping his hand rhythmically against his leg, Matthew trailed behind the group gawking at the scenery. Reaching their destination near the bar, they became subject to the banter of this 'Betty' and an accomplice of hers. It was that bantering, however, that snapped Matthew out of his trance. Just in time to witness the girl who had landed on him earlier try and order an Irish Coffee.

"I don't know what I'm more shocked at," Matthew spoke up, looking to Iphigenia, his accent notably more 'common' and northern to contrast her well-spoken southern one, "The fact that I'm not the only Brit here or your order." A coy smile grew on his lips after his comment before softening to one of politeness as he turned to their hosts. "You don't happen to have any tea, do you?" he asked in a soft tone of voice, "Only, I'm afraid I don't have the foggiest what a sarsaparilla is... or a lap..." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, clearly out of his comfort zone. It was once cited that his home-accent was phonetically closer to the languages of northern Europe in place of his own but these new strangers seemed to be the ones speaking double Dutch. "I-If not, I'll just - er - t-take a coffee, please."

The cool air around her sent more shivers down her spine. Nothing compared to the ability of not being able to see what is to come. Anxiety filled her thoughts as she remembered how a fog was awful weather to be in. It reminded her of early mornings spent on San Francisco, sugary syrup plagued the air as much as seabirds were littered around the place. [BCOLOR=transparent]This is like silent hill, I wouldn't be surprised if a pyramid head popped out. [/BCOLOR]Rini's warm breath blended in with the mist. Her lower jaw began to quiver, threatening her teeth to chatter from the cold.

[BCOLOR=transparent]"The pairings sound great, Akio. Also thank you for your introduction, but I have a gut feeling that we should really be moving. The wind is giving me shivers, and I don't think its from the cold."[/BCOLOR] Katherine nodded, rubbing her arms to circulate the blood. As the students became aware of their surroundings, the mist seemed much more heavily. Katherine felt a pit grow as a howl sounded throughout the ears of the students. Everyone was quiet for a moment, the whispers hissed into her ears clear as a dull bell.

Everything became a quick blur, Katherine didn't realize what had happened when it did. She let out a scream as the wolf came face to face to Shun. The boy tried to escape, but tripped over his own feet. Another rip of flesh warned her of another bloodied mess within one day. Katherine gripped her stomach as she stared into the deep cut. The other girl had drove her knife into the wolf, but it paled in comparison with Shun's cut. The bloodthirsty wolf seemed to retreat back into the mist, even though it was was winning. [BCOLOR=transparent]Fear, it knows we are scared. It's toying with us. [/BCOLOR]Rini casted a look towards the others and then the attacked teen.

The group scattered apart, Rini had no choice to follow the mass running away from the wolf. Blindly running into thin layers of small droplets of water suspended in air, Rini found herself and the others cornered into the edge of a cliff. Water from beyond the cliff was running, the mist must have thickened. Rini wasn't able to see anything, she felt her legs shake in anxiety as she watched her hopeless state, [BCOLOR=transparent]"Hurry up."[/BCOLOR] A voice from her side hissed. [BCOLOR=transparent]I'm trying to. Let me think for a moment. Just need to think. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]"We all need to jump."[/BCOLOR] A male voice piped up. Katherine felt her patience shorten as she tried to think without all the noise around her.

[BCOLOR=transparent]"There is running water down there, I can hear it. It may be a river, it can carry us down steam."[/BCOLOR] Katherine couldn't hold in her scoff, [BCOLOR=transparent]"Listen, that's just going to lead to death. Can you even see through all of these mess? For all we know, there could be rocks down there."[/BCOLOR] The pitch of her voice changed, [BCOLOR=transparent]"Oh, I know. Why don't you jump first? If we hear your deranged screams, we'll know to not jump."[/BCOLOR] She sharply inhaled and raised a hand to her head and uttered a small apology for her words.

In a more calm voice, the girl looked at the group and then the mist in front of her, [BCOLOR=transparent]"Keep Shun in the center. The wolf is going to attack the weak as much as we allow it to."[/BCOLOR] In a soft voice, she rose Aimi's attention, [BCOLOR=transparent]"Aimi, could you clean his cut? Try to keep him from bleeding anymore."[/BCOLOR] She looked for the other female, [BCOLOR=transparent]"I didn't catch your name, do you think you're up for a fight if it comes…"[/BCOLOR] Katherine trailed off as she noticed the girl's physical health, [BCOLOR=transparent]"You should stay in the center as well." [/BCOLOR]She addressed the rest while playing with her hair nervously,[BCOLOR=transparent] "Keep watch. See something and don't be afraid to point it out."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]We could stay quiet and listen for the wolf's actions and be ready to fight. Or we could make as much noise as possible to ward it off.[/BCOLOR] Katherine held her head up and stared down, [BCOLOR=transparent]maybe it can't see us...just like we can't see it. It found Shun in the mist very quickly…[/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"With the way the wolf attacked, I see no point us trying to scare it off. If it comes to it, we'll have to fight back."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"I hope everyone knows that if there's more than one wolf, we'll have to follow Mr. Suicide's plan and jump. Prepare yourselves."[/BCOLOR]

"Searching for the others isn't necessary." The tall dark headed boy spoke in a clear voice immediately after Rini posed her question. Aimi narrowed her eyes. They were only trying to figure out what was happening, and this guy decided to shoot them down. Looking down, she frowned a bit, before looking back up as the boy spoke again. "From what I saw, when we were caught that man opened 3 portals like the one that sent us here and split us into groups. All the other students went threw the other portals, to us they may as well be in a different world. They'll be together like us, but we won't be able to to help them." He spoke calmly, gazing at the other four in their group. Did he have an all seeing eye or something? How did he know this stuff? "Even if they are here we will not be able to find them in the mist, we would be stumbling around blind." The boy spoke again, and Aimi could feel the condescending tone in the air. Oh, sure. Okay. Just shoot them down. She knew they had to work together, but Aimi still resented when people decided to take charge like this and put her in the backseat. For all she knew, this kid was working with Fushinwhatever. "We were lucky to find each other. As for where we are..." His voice broke for a moment, and an undertone of uneasiness showed itself to the rest of the group. "I don't know, but I don't think we will be able to leave easy." Well, of course not, you walnut. He glanced over at Rini, and addressed her question. "We likely won't be killed outright like Mr. Barlow, but that man seems to be playing a game with us." For once in the short period they had known each other, there was something she agreed with. His mannerisms, the way he addressed them, saying they had potential. She wouldn't be surprised if he were watching them now, from some hole in time and space or something unreal like that.

[BCOLOR=transparent]The boy took a step back, his eyebrows scrunching up together. "However, whatever game he is playing with us, we don't know the rules or objective... I have a few theories but none of them concrete. But if we not careful this game may turn deadly, that man has no problem killing." A mental image of Mr. Barlow's dead, mangled body was brought to mind, and Aimi covered her face in an attempt to banish it. No, no, no..Please, no. "But for some reason he is giving us at least a chance to live." Well, everyone knew this.. "He wants a chance to watch us suffer," she mumbled under her breath. She had to calm down. Were they all going to die? Was there going to be one winner? She didn't know. She wouldn't be able to know until the end. And she had to make it to the end. And to do this, she had to calm down. Taking deep breaths, she managed to regulate her breathing again. Next thing she knew, dark haired boy was still monologuing. "...I mean to take advantage of that and keep everyone here alive." An empty promise. Aimi knew at least one person would die. "That means we can't keep still, if we do he may kill us for not playing his game. While I''m not usually one for giving into a mad man that man has powers beyond human comprehension..." The boy took a breath, preparing to launch into another big long speech. He seemed quite entertained by the sound of his own voice, and Aimi wouldn't be surprised if the man that had put them there simply smote them where they stood, bored out of his mind by this very speech. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"I don't know what comes next but we have to move but we shouldn't move recklessly. No one should ever be alone, if you get separated our chances of finding you are slim. As a group even if we can't link up now you will be able to help each other. Move in groups of two as a buddy system and watch each others back." At this, he looked over at the pair of girls and smiled at them as if they were small children, meant to be pitied. "You said your names were Aimi and Rini right? You two stay together and..." He looked at the other two, saying, "You two stay together as well." Looking resolved, he started to close off. "If there's any objections speak now." He crossed his arms, like the edgy edgester he was. "Oh, I forgot something... My name is Akio Soma, it's a pleasure to meet you, though I wish it was under better circumstances..." He said inclining his head in greeting. Waiting for objections, Aimi remained silent. She didn't want to be the one to object. But, instead, HCM said, "The pairings sound great, Akio. Also thank you for your introduction, but I have a gut feeling that we should really be moving. The wind is giving me shivers, and I don't think its from the cold."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]At this, Aimi noticed something rather disturbing. There was whispering, sounds that she hadn't noticed before. They began to get stronger, louder. Listening closely, she heard the words, "Life," "Envy," and "Forfeit," and the mist settled in. Whimpering, she clutched onto Rini's sleeve. Suddenly, a loud cry that could terrify even the manliest of men emerged, soaring directly above Shun. It became visible in the thick fog, appearing to be a grey dire wolf, with long, jagged fangs that were positioned to land in Shun's throat. Aimi jerked backwards away from the RA. He attempted to run, after his serious expression developed into one of panic. At this point, Aimi could again feel her heart beating out of her chest. "Oh my god, oh my god, Rini…" She buried her face into the other girl's clothing, hoping not to see what would come next. Ripping flesh, followed by an equally horrifying scream as that which emerged from the wolf itself. Head whipping around, relief filled Aimi like a breath of fresh air. He cradled his bloodied arm, which apparently had been ripped open by a claw from the lunging wolf. Expecting another attack, Aimi buried her face once more, but nothing else came of the encounter. Slowly emerging, Aimi looked at the visibly terrified boy at her feet. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"W-We n-need to m-move."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]His voice was pained, and he as he tried to regain his breath, Aimi felt a tear fall down, streaking a clean line through the dirt which now decorated her face. The event had greatly shaken her, and as Shun rose, she inhaled sharply. He started off, following where the wolf had gone. What was he doing? She thought anxiously, her eyes widening in panic. Was he going to get the wolf to finish him off? "Wait, Shun--" She released Rini's arm and followed behind the boy. "S-Shun, how deep is the wound? How bad is it?" She glanced back nervously at Rini and waved her forward, beckoning the girl to follow along. She was really the only one she knew, along with the one she was with currently. Looking back at the silver haired boy's arm, a thought came to mind. She wasn't much of a nurse, but she had basic knowledge. Untying the shirt from around her waist, she held it up and inspected it. It had a bit of dirt and such on it, but otherwise it was clean. "It need to be compressed...d-do you mind?" Aimi tried to keep in pace with the tall boy, holding the cloth out to him. "W-Where are you even going?" Back there, Aimi could hear faint conversation. Something about jumping off of a cliff, and then Rini's condescending voice followed. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"Listen, that's just going to lead to death. Can you even see through all of these mess? For all we know, there could be rocks down there." They were going to jump to safety? Who's crackpot idea was that? More than likely, it was Mr. Commando's. "Oh, I know. Why don't you jump first? If we hear your deranged screams, we'll know to not jump." Aimi scoffed quietly. It would certainly work-- What was she thinking? They all had to stay alive, no matter how irritating one member was. They were a team now, weren't they? The petite girl made a grab for the injured boy's good arm. "Come on, we need to go back further, they're not following. We could lose them." She couldn't force Shun to do anything, so she released his arm and began to head over to where the voices were coming from. When she arrived, they were all standing on a cliff. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"Keep Shun in the center. The wolf is going to attack the weak as much as we allow it to." She was a strategist, wasn't she? Class President, she mused. Quietly, Rini spoke again, speaking her name this time. "Aimi, could you clean his cut? Try to keep him from bleeding anymore." The girl nodded. Seems they had had the same thought. If Shun were nearby, she would've taken the blouse (that she still had in her hand) and tied it around, compressing and wrapping it best she could. Rini spoke to the other girl, who seemed to have a knife on her. Useful, but she appeared to be injured somehow. What the future class president said next caught her attention. [/BCOLOR] "With the way the wolf attacked, I see no point us trying to scare it off. If it comes to it, we'll have to fight back." Fight? How could we fight? Aimi saw it better that they got a move on, like Shun had attempted to do, while keeping their guards up, but this worked too. She supposed they had an escape plan; the cliff, which Akio or whatever had been suggesting.

[BCOLOR=transparent]"I hope everyone knows that if there's more than one wolf, we'll have to follow Mr. Suicide's plan and jump. Prepare yourselves." [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]With that in mind, Aimi tied the shirt off tightly, hoping that would stop the bleeding. They couldn't afford to have anyone passing out on them, much less dying. "I suppose this makes me medic," the small girl commented, nodding once more over at Rini. "Don't let your guards down, guys.. Like Rini said, that wolf could attack at any moment. Seeing how it just flew out of the mist like nobody's business, there are most likely more. Could've just been a scout, if wolves work that way." Her voice was shaky, but she continued to speak. "It's probably local to this area, can see through the mists. Meanwhile, we can't. So, if you do hear anything, signal the rest of us." With newfound confidence, her voice strengthened. Lowering her voice, Aimi's next words were something a stranger wouldn't expect to come out of such a small girl. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]"Let's hunt this bitch and show it who's boss."[/BCOLOR]

[spoili]OOC Note: I moved the order of who said what when for the sake of flow. Everyone should have a reply.[/spoili]

"Perhaps some Irish coffee, then?"

"One order, coming right up," Eunice sing-songed, the man in the grey hat chuckling softly. To Betty's relief, the rest of the children kept to ordering soda.

"You don't happen to have any tea, do you?"

Er. And tea.

"Only, I'm afraid I don't have the foggiest what a sarsaparilla is... or a lap..."

Betty knowingly nodded, the accent giving away why the poor boy was confused. "Don't trouble your pretty little head over it. Eunice, tea?" Just as she asked, the bartender put three sarsaparillas out in front of the strangely dressed children.

"Tea? In the boss's office..." The Irish coffee, too, came down. The bartender placed in front of Eunice, who pushed it down the flat wooden surface to the dark haired girl with uncommon, but not unfamiliar, accent.

"Do you have a telephone here?"

Eunice laughed into her gloved hand, "That's also in the boss' office."

"Young lady has the right idea, call it a night," the man in the grey hat approved.

"I suppose it is time they called their folks to come get them," Eunice resigned, "Come with me, love," she beckoned towards Iphingenia, and then gestured with an upturned palm towards William, "I'll be right back with your tea."

"Your lucky your the boss' favorite," Betty said to her friend, a slight warning to her tone, but no wane in her smile.

"I'm sorry I look like your son!"

"Oh? Oh, dear," she gently patted Patrick's head, as if remembering her own son, "You can't help that in the least--"

"Aaaallllright."

The child's loud voice carried over the music, calling the attention of not just Betty and Richard, but a few of the other patrons around who, by now, assumed the group was no more than aspiring trouble-making thespians.

"Where the fuck are we?"

Betty blushed, and Richard shifted uncomfortably.

"Where are the others? Was I, Kyouko, the only one who just witnessed this cocky little asshole playing around with us?"

Though the hum of the crowd didn't die, Betty and Richard were quiet as the grave. They both looked at each other, as if urging the other to say something. "It seems," Richard said, breaking the silence, "her father wanted a boy."

The adults around them laughed like children, some loudly, some softly, others snickered.

Betty looked to the two boys (for she assumed the individual with long orange locks was none other than a lady) and shook her head, giving them a stern look, "Did you drag this poor girl down here, without telling her where you might be taking her?"

"You're in the finest drum in this part of the city, Ky.. Kyuu... Blondie," Dick informed Kyouko. He eyed that strange stick she was carrying, but shrugged it off as a prop she carried for God-knows-why.

Meanwhile, Iphingenia was being lead through the crowd by the flaming-haired Eunice, who would look over her shoulder now and again to make sure the child was on her tail. The murmur of the crowd was growing louder... yet, it was losing that jovial air. Tension took its place, spreading.

"It's a shakedown!" Erupted the man in brown hat, bursting through the greenwood doubledoors. "Everyone out!"

The murmuring crowd grew panicked. In one, large conglomerate, they moved away from the double-doors, conforming to the left corner of the room.

"Rats," Eunice hissed through her teeth, losing that perma-smile she'd had on up until. "Follow me, we gotta split."

"Let's go, we gotta go," Richard ushered Betty and waved the kids to follow him. But before they knew it, he and the woman in the pink stole was lost in the crowd. Right then, passing by, was the flame-haired Eunice, moving with the same pressed pace. But, instead of heading to the left, where the crowd was, she heading to the right.

Odd.

THE MIST
Time: Who knows
Interaction: Tsu fragment

He couldnt say much to Rini's rebutal as he had no proof if their were rocks down there or if the supposed river was only a inch deep or 30 feet away from the ledge. Jumping off could be sucide and so was staying here. He was honestly considering jumping to make sure first when suddenly she spoke. He raised an eye brow, she wanted to fight. He saw Aimi move back to start tying up Shun's wound as Rini continued speaking and he had to admit the plan had some good points. The cliff was a dangerous and unknown possibility and while fighting the wolf may seem like certain death if they damaged him enough they may be able to get away or even kill it. If things went south they could all book it to the cliff and jump.

So instead of objecting he smiled, not so much a gentle smile after Aimi's comment but the smile of a predator and of underlying anticipation and perhaps even excitment on his face as they planned to fight. "So we fight huh." He said with weary amusement striding near to the front of the group. His steps before had been confident and graceful but now they were full of the power in his limbs as he slipped into a basic fighting stance to improve his center of balance. He didnt chose a specific style as they were all meant for humans instead of animals. "We'll defaintly surprise that thing." He said looking at those behind him. He knew annie had fighting experince and Aimi would be treating Shun so he turned his head to Rini. "Do you have any fighting experince?" He asked obviously defulting to her decision to fight. He positioned himself right in front of Shun so if they wolf charged directly forward at him it would hit him first.

He had to admit Rini and Aimi made a good team already. They both had level heads despite the fact he had seen Aimi almost burst into tears earlier and Rini was obiously nervous they seemed to give each other courage and Rini had a very good grasp on strategy. Aimi seemingly knowing basic medical procedures was no small thing ethier. If they got injured in this fight they would need her to bind them up. Infection and injury could kill them as easily as this wolf or the possible fatal fall from the cliff. "You know ive never had wolf steak." He said almost conversationally as he watched the woods his body ready for combat. It was only after he said that he realized they lacked food, if this turned into a extended trip then food and possibly water would become big concerns. If they fought they needed to kill the wolf not only for safty but possibly supplies as well.

Dimitri turned over his shoulder, hanging his head and watched the strapping young man take on his neutral offer to follow him. Following behind him was a young lady, and judging from her perturbed demeanor she was more shaken than the young man was. At least, through his own perspective. He stopped in his tracks, as to keep from having them to hasten their step to catch up with him. As he eyed the teens he felt a ping of remorse, seeing that they've now been exposed to a life well beyond their comprehension. He'd prefer if they kept their ignorance, but it was too late for that. Although, he was pleased that he was the one to educate them on the matter at hand. He wanted to keep them safe, at least until he gave them the means to escape. "I take it you all were accidentally thrown here? Well don't worry, I'm not from here either. I'm here on... Business. You can call it. I can get you folks out of here, but it'll take some time. First we need to hit the vista down the road." Dimitri said, pointing his thumb back down into the long forest road. A strong, rogue wind pushed Dimitri off his balance and pelted him with a few loose leaves and grit from the gravel paved road. The cloud began rolling towards the West a tad faster, thickening in their stride. "I don't like this weather. We need to head in. "Is your other friend going to join us?" Dimitri asked, pointing towards Darius towards the high point of the prairie.

|Slow roll|
Down at the end of the road marking the border into the village, a worked peasant woman dressed in burlap with a stitched apron slowly pushed an empty wooden wagon down into the forest road. Her unkempt frizzy red hair dangle loosely in sync with her slow, wistful stride. The sound of her wooden wheels on the hard gravel could be heard faintly in the distance, almost outside of the range of Camilla and Nascha's hearing. However it only grew more audible as she closed distance towards the two young women.

Pop!

Cold, hard asphalt met Korrey, breaking his fall. It was chill, the ground below him. And slick. The moisture was all around, icy, clinging onto everything, heavy in the air. Drip. Drip. The patient sound of water intermittently falling. A few creaks. Maybe, a sound that might be... the sound of a step? It was dark. There were lights, but large stretches of darkness lay inbetween them. It wasn't easy to see. But, in that note, it wasn't easy
to be seen... if one stayed in the darkness.

There was no-one around Korrey, no students anyway. Monty was there, fine as could be. But no human soul. Just the boy, and his rabbit. Looking around, it was a dank little alleyway. The buildings were close together, the space where Korrey landed narrow. The ladder of a fire-escape was outlined by a light, the source unknown, but presumably a street light. A dumpster lay a few feet ahead, by one of the building's walls. Either it was empty, or the cold kept the stench dampened.

There. That sound. A step? Another? A pair of steps, or was it? It came from the north, but sounded far. Far, but growing closer. South, the other exit of the alleyway, was free and clear.

[spoili]OOC Note: The picture is just about accurate, except that it does not do a good job in conveying that it is night. The sky would be black, not an overcast grey.[/spoili]
