Cedric like always finished before his sister setting things up for his stay. He knew his father left probable to discuss about him and Rona being in the run along with the others who would partake in it this year. He's thoughts soon wondered on the BBQ as he began to walk to see if Rona needed held. He did hope they would see Lucie again knowing it may be good to become well acquainted maybe even friends which could help them when they were alphas. Thinking a bit more he found himself smiling at the thought of seeing her again and found himself thinking how he liked the color of her hair he may should had complimented her while they walked he felt like. Sighing he planned perhaps he might later tonight. Could help with small talk.

===========

Rona was still putting and organizing things in her room for the stay finally feeling the room was complete turned seeing her brother. "How long were you standing there?" She asked him. "Not long" He replied with a smile. Sighing Rona walked over to him her thoughts also about later tonight. "Who all do you think will meet tonight?" She asked her brother. "A lot of people from many different clans." Cedric replied. Rona nodded and sighed. "Maybe this will be your year brother." She commented knowing he still hadn't found a mate and had been coming before her. She wasn't so sure however for herself but planned not to think about that to much. Cedric nodded. "Perhaps." He replied. "Maybe we should make sure everyone is settled father may be wondering around to talk to some old friends." He suggested knowing how their father knew a few people from the other packs. Rona nodded and the two headed to make sure everything was good for the others and felt they may explore afterwards.

Lucie had began to set up the BBQ, putting up the tables and spreading them with table cloths whilst laughing and chatting with some of the others in her pack. She always enjoyed her time with her pack, though sometimes she did need to get away from it all... But she supposed it was something that was a part of her now..being around other people. She could always rely on a small group of friends not taking her title as Alpha too seriously all the time. Especially Oliver.

As one of their guards in training, Oliver was well-built and had a carefree attitude when not on duty or training. Black hair cut short but still ending up messy looking either way and rich brown eyes, he was a joker and a flirt...never dated but nor was he a womanizer. It would be his third year, having joined the Run at seventeen and now at twenty...he was keeping any wordy of not finding a mate well hidden.

"So then Luce-Luce," the young lad smirked, using hated nickname, "Any thoughts on the packs this year? You've seen them already, think this could be your first and last year in the Run?"

Rolling her eyes, she clipped the tablecloths into place and shook her head, "Lolly-ver...is this just your way of asking if there are any new, attractive girls? Because if so...you could have just said. I would have given you a straight answer."

He raised an eyebrow, holding the cloth down for her, "Ooooh. Sounding a little jealous there, Lucifer. I know we're not mates but that doesn't mean you won't come first in my life." The comment earned him a playful scowl as she flicked a clip at him, watchibg as it bounced off his chest. "I'll be your alpha soon, cours I'll come first. Dumbass." Lucie smirked but paused at the sight of her father with Alpha Elliot on the porch, already drinks in hands and obviously catching up with everything new.

Rona and Cedric headed to where the BBQ would be held knowing it wouldn't be long now. There clan would meet up with Charles leading for he had told the two they could get a bit of head of time mingling in. A few of the other clan mates tagging along for they were some of their closer friends. Who had also finished a bit early with getting set and also wanted something to do.

Arriving the two noticed their father drink in hand speaking with Alpha Oliver. The two looked at each other and smiled glad to see their father doing alright without their mother handing around. They glanced curious to see if perhaps Lucie was yet free or if any of the other packs had a few wonders like themselves.

(the reason I did not state friends is well encase others wish to join as them for one. And well two encase I may miss someone who is in my pack being it's late that I'm making this post)

While Levi and Emunah talk downstairs...

"This is total crap!" Tobias yells, talking with Marian.
"What do you mean?" She replies.
"Levi! He knows our line is pure, and he's going on this run to find a mate! He's going to taint it!"
"He's the Alpha. If that's what he wants, that's his right."

Meanwhile, back downstairs...

"I'm sorry," Levi tells Emunah. "I don't normally tell people my story. I'm out of my element here. I'm sorry if I put you off at all." He was trying to be polite, but he didn't know what she was thinking at all. Normally he can read people by facial expressions, but she was inscrutable.

Kida found her way over to Lucie. "Hey, sorry I'm late." She apologized. "Did I miss anything?" She asked. "I hope you at least find your mate thid year. You really deserve it Lucie." The young Delta said.

Lucie and Olly bantered for a few more minutes, laughing and joking as they worked to get things ready. It took most of the day, and according to her father's mindlink earlier, it seemed like it may just be the two packs this year. But they should remain alert...others may just as well turn up unexpectedly throughout the week. When Kida found her, Lucie raised an eyebrow at her tardiness but there was the beginnings of a smile along her lips, "You need to work on your punctuality Kida. Maybe your mate will be rather good at being on time as to compensate for how late you usually are." She chuckled eventually. Lucie then paused, clearing her throat softly and shrugged, "It won't be the end of the world if I don't this year...I still have two more years..." She shook her head and then motioned around, "Not really. We had two new packs arrive today. The Moonstone Oasis Pack and the Timberland Pack. And now we're getting the BBQ ready. Why don't you get yourself sorted and come back out? I think we're sorted now."

Her wolf then informed her of two new arrivals to the scene and as she peered to the left, she saw the alpha siblings wandering toward them. "Will you excuse me for a moment?" She murmured before heading on over to them. Lucie smiled warmly as she approached, head tilted in a light questioning manner. "Cedric. Rona. Is everything okay? Is something wrong with your living quarters? I can get someone to fix it right away."

Emunah stopped walking and turned to face him. She eyed him curiously, tilting her head slightly. She was studying him. This person was so interesting. Was it unusual for Alphas to open up so easily? They were usually unapologetic, secretive, and refused to look someone of lower rank in the eye. Yet here Levi was defying everything she knew about leaders of packs. Interesting. "I've never known an Alpha to apologize." she finally replied. "Doesn't that hurt your ego?" Was she teasing him? That's weird, she thought.

Cedric shook his head before Rona could say anything. Then he waved a relaxed hand. "No everything's perfect. Were just faster than the others and well Rona's is more curious and restless." He replied his sister giving him a scowl. "That's not it. Charles said he had everything so we could wondered." She quickly commented in defense. Then Rona looked and smiled at Lucie. "So I suggested wondering down here a bit early." She commented. "If that's alright that were here." She said and glanced at her brother a moment. He nodded. "Yes if you um... Don't mind we figured maybe we could stop by and say hi. Maybe help if you'd like or something..." He suggested trying not to intrude on them setting up.

"My ego? Ha! I lost that in the first fight I did to keep my title. I might be Alpha, in a position of authority, but I am always polite and courteous, especially to one of my hostesses. I have kept you too long. Would you allow me to escort you to the courtyard?"

Lucianna bit her lower lip, a smile playing on her features at the banter between the siblings. At times, Lucie wished she had a brother or sister...especially when seeing moments like this. She chuckled softly before realizing they had offered to help. "Don't be silly, you're our guests. You're here to relax and enjoy yourself. You stay though, get a drink and mingle. Kida over there will be my Deta and that idiot she's beside," she chuckled fondly, "That's my friend and future enforcer Oliver."

"Did I hear my name?" Olly inquired as he wandered over, a grin on his lips. His gaze flickered over Rona and his head then tilted to the side with a low whistle, "You must be Rona. My name's Oliver, but you can call me Oliver." He reached out to take her head, intending to kiss the back of her knuckles. Lucie gave him a nudge in the sides as a warning, keeping a careful eye on Cedric's reaction. She trusted Olly and knew he wouldn't screw things up...but he was a stranger to the other two.

The two nodded. "Alright" They replied as one it seemed. Then the two looked to Lucie's friend he listened to Lucie introduce how he was going to be her future enforcer. Rona had held out her hand expecting just to shake his but soon seemed to give a faint blush realizing he was now kissing her hand. "Nice to meet you" She commented trying to ignore how her brother might act.

Cedric standing beside seeing his sister now hold out her hand seemed to raise and eye a bit obvious he picked up Rona was expecting a normal handshake by how she had held out her hand. He then gave a small chuckle. "Careful don't need our dad seeing you with her hand like that." He commented with a tease in his tone knowing Rona would be blushing even more now. "He may not be to found of seeing my sister now suddenly grown up." He said to explain it seemed but his eyes showed he didn't mind. He knew if he wasn't nice to the guys that may be his sister's possible future mate and his brother he would end up paying for it later. If not by her by their father.

Oliver merely grinned as he finally released Rona's hand, a playful gleam to his eye and momentarily Lucie found herself wishing that she had his confidence. "Grown up indeed. A gorgeous young woman...of course any father would be protective over such a jewel." The future enforcer commented, eyes never leaving Rona until finally pulling away and glancing to Cedric. Lucie couldn't help but feel impressed...her friend was truly turning on the charm.

Shaking her head in amusement, she smiled at the siblings in turn, "Perhaps we could get you a drink? Maybe nothing alcoholic until later on in the evening." Lucianna laughed lightly, noting Oliver inclining his head toward Cedric before looking back to Rona...Lucie swore she could see a hint of fondness to his gaze. So instead of looking in their direction, she peered to Cedric with a warm smile, "How does that sound? You could check up on your father that way too."

Kida had gone up to the room that bad been assigned to her for this event. She usually tied to be on-time, but that had become difficult lately as her mother needed help with the twins. Kida had two newborn brothers. Well, they were a few weeks old now, but they were quite a pawful for her mom. Kida had almost convinced her parents to let her skip out on The Run this year to help with the boys, but at the last minute they made her go. She unpacked her bag and headed back out to see what else needed done.

Cedric gave a content smile at his sister's rather pink face. He nodded at Oliver "Yes it does make since doesn't it." He replied then looked to Lucie when she mentioned the drinks. "Sure that sounds nice. And it may be good to make sure our dad is behaving." He replied with a smirk.

Rona seemed to still be blushing not knowing what to say. Her eyes not leaving Oliver soon she seemed to smile a bit more than before at his complements. "Well thank you." She replied then when he finally removed his eyes from her a moment she too looked at the others. Once more Lucie when she began to speak after her brother replied to Oliver. "Yeah a nonalcholic drink sounds good for now." She commented after her brother looking at him a moment then back to Oliver still with a smile not seeming to hear Cedric's comment on their father as if she was lost in thought about later she had no idea what to really expect.

"Alright then, if you'd like to follow me." Lucie motioned for them to come with her, mostly to Cedric though since his sister and her friend were pretty much hitting it off. She couldn't help but be slightly envious...seeing Olly look and act and treat Rona that way made her want someone to be like that with. "So you've been to Run's before? And you've had no luck?" She brought up conversationally, glancing across to Cedric curiously.

Olly had offered his arm for Rona to take at this point, a soft smile on his lips, "Would you allow me to run with you tomorrow night, Rona?" Oliver inquired as they followed behind his future alpha and her brother, "Just one night and if you want nothing more then I promise to leave you be."

Cedric nodded and began to follow knowing for now he would leave his sister be. Though he was a bit jealous of her already seeming to hit it off when he had no luck in the past. As they walked he heard Lucie's question and gave a nod. "Yeah I have and no luck at all. I don't seem to have the right charm I guess." He replied knowing those he tried to impress and get to know in the past seemed to move on before every first run. "And I think my sister has already out shined me." He commented and gave a light laugh. "And her first year." He stated then sighed.

Rona took Oliver's arm and smiled not really hearing her brother. "I'd enjoy that." She replied her cheeks once more seemed to become a brighter pink they they already were. Hearing his last part of the statement she gave a nod. "Alright sounds fair to me." She replied and gave him a smile.

Unable to help it, she reached across to give his arm a soft squeeze, "Perhaps this year will be your year. Besides, you're twenty right? You still have one more year if not." Lucie tried to assure him, taking her hand quickly as she realized what she was doing. She cleared her throat softly and rubbed the back of her neck, "I just hope I'm as lucky as your sister...it's my first year too and I'm only here because it's the first year that's compulsory for my age now."

Chuckling, Oliver rubbed the hand of hers that was on his arm, "Fantastic. I look forward to it. I promise to behave." He gave a cheeky smile as he took her in again, enjoying the sight of the pink blush along her cheeks, "Do you usually blush this much? Or is it just me?" He teased with a matching wink.

Cedric listened to Lucie and looked at her he gave a small smile hearing her reassure him. He didn't mind when her hand had squeezed his arm then when she changed on her he smiled and nodded. "I'm sure you'll have much better luck than I have. Just as Rona seems to." He paused then added. "Your a beautiful woman." He then blushed hoping he hadn't said something wrong but he knew he meant those words. "And I guess I would have one more year but like you my sister's main reason for coming was her age. And the other reason our dad wanted her to being our mother well...You know..." He said his voice went a bit quiet like it had back at home with the mention of his mother. It was obvious the two were close.

Rona smiled "okay be sure to. Cedric would hunt you down otherwise even if he seems a bit chill." She commented. Then when he asked about her blushing it seemed to grow past her cheeks. "Not this much know. But usually if Cedric starts it..." She answered knowing her brother was the one who started the first of her blushing.

"I doubt it...I mean...I'll be busy making sure everyone else is enjoying themselves and finding their own mates." Lucie shrugged, glancing up to the house as they neared it to look to her father. Her gaze immediately snapped back to him at his comment and her cheeks warmed slightly at the compliment. She nibbled on her lower lip softly, "Thank you," she murmured before focusing back on what he said later. "I'm sorry about your mother...I know I said it before but I'm saying it again. I'm...I'm sure she'd be very proud of both of you if she saw you now. I promise to keep an eye on your sister and Olly if you like. Just...whatever makes it easier for you to enjoy yourself too. You need to have fun as well, Cedric." Lucie then said sincerely, studying him carefully.

Moving her hand off his arm, Olly hesitantly placed his arm over her shoulders after making sure she was okay with it. "Well, I do believe that it's adorable." He responded, brushing his thumb across on of her cheeks, "What can I get you to drink?" He asked as the group finally entered the pack house.

Cedric listened and nodded. "I'm sure you'll have time to find your won." He commented when she mentioned being busy making sure the others would find there mates. Then smiled a moment when she thanked him and gave a nod at her words on his mother. "Thank you. I'm sure she would had enjoyed meeting you. Along with whoever may end up dealing with me or Rona." He replied and gave a light laugh at the thought of when it was his first year and his mother had been around when he was looking for his own mate. He felt sorry for Rona not getting to have her for Rona's first mandatory year. "But an extra eye on Rona with your friend may be nice. But only if your sure it wouldn't stop yourself from enjoying this years run." He replied on the mention of Lucie watching his sister with Oliver.

Rona blushed even more where her ears seemed a bit pink when Oliver moved his arm around her shoulder but she didn't pull away. A smile growing on her face it seemed. "Um...T-thanks" She replied not sure what else to say to the compliment. Rona then thought on the question of a drink. "Um...Tea if you wouldn't mind." She replied and smiled at him hoping he really wouldn't mind. She so far had enjoyed the walk and seemed to for a time forget her brother was even there until of course they had arrived into the pack house.
