Wish Upon A Demon

Crowley listened to all of her ideas, clearly not amazed by any of them, but accepting whatever she thought was best for the situation. He could easily change the colour of his eyes, for Noah's natural irids were of brilliant blue, and the whiteness was just the demon's addition, but he wasn't going to tell any of that to poor Laura. He still got the feeling she was trying to take everything too lightly, too carelessly - and now he wanted to prove her wrong. Having a demon by her side for a month seemed to give her a bad idea of the whole situation. Crowley didn't wish to be someone to babysit, but to guide, and other than that, left to his own doings and schemes. Being so close to humans now, and with Laura at his side, he thought about the number of souls he was going to get. With her help.. Whether she liked it or not.

"That sounds.. Absolutely lovely." he said, raising his eyebrow, when she told him about his work. Really, he couldn't care less. As to her pondering about as whom to introduce him to people at work, Crowley said nothing. Let her deal with it and worry about it. "I'm going. Is there anyone particularly religious at your work?" he asked, snickering, and stepped out. SOmeone was leaving their apartment as well and looked towards the demon, who responded with a glare. It was obvious the gossip would be created before lunchtime, and by evening, all neighbours would know of Laura's new addition to her life.. Though maybe they would get the bad idea as of what kind of addition he actually was.

As they walked down, Crowley a few steps behind Laura, he kept wondering whether everything was going to be smooth for her with him around or not. Considering he could make it troublesome, it probably wasn't going to be, but he was still curious. Maybe he should leave everything and not intervene? Eventually they stepped outside into the fresh, morning air, and the demon looked around. People were in a hurry, walking to their cars; some of those people were already talking through their phones. There was a sense of anger in the air. Really, people were so self-destructive.. "In THIS?" the demon shook his head, looking at Laura's car in a mix of awe and disgust. "It seems your job doesn't pay well, Laura, or maybe you're still in debt for your brother's surgeries from years before?"
