1. Jareth walked down the gravel path slowly, staring at the starry sky as he blinked every so often. His right hand was in his pocket, and his left was wrapped around the neck of a wine bottle, slight stains of red lingering on the paper near the top were a cork once sat. The fencing instructor paused as a faint glimmer of light trailed across his vision. He turned and took another swig of the crimson booze, his white shirt unraveled about his shoulders, and his trim chest bare to the chilly night air.

A single vehicle puttered it's way into his gaze, illuminating stone face after stone face as the automobile went for it's destination. You see, Jareth was in the city almost forty miles from Granite point, his home. He abandoned it three days ago when spring break came, and had since moved into a small motel room for the week as he enjoyed night-life for the first time in almost 5 years.

He slid behind a conveniently close oak tree's trunk and watched as several people came out of the vehicle, flashlights flitting across the stones in the cemetery block perhaps 200 feet from him. a language he hadn't heard before sounded on their tongues as they made their way to a rather large obelisk of stone in that patch. they surrounded it and put out their flashlights, beginning to chant something.

Jareth was not a worldly man. nor would he consider himself well versed in the occult. But when a group of young people gather around a stone in a cemetery and start chanting... something is wrong.

With deft speed and all-due caution, the European made his way closer, hiding behind some of the larger stones as he watched. They spun in circles, chanting in low tones and switching places before doing it all over again, and as he watched, it was as if he had been entranced by some force of nature, unable to look away. Minutes faded into hours, and the moon changed its position from barely visible tot he west, to a burning white orb at the top of the night sky, illuminating the hooded figures. Pink bracelets, the jangle of fake plastic earrings and the scent of cheap cologne hit his senses. Teenagers. Surely they were just teenagers having fun... Right? As suddenly as they had come, they went... and Jareth was left, slightly drunker, confused, and bewildered as the vehicle drove away.

He stood upright and stretched, the chill of the night had begun to permeate his flesh, and sending deep flutters of feeling through his core as his body began putting out more heat to keep him warm. He took another swig of wine and sighed, walking slowly towards the obelisk. It was a simple granite pillar with three sides. on two sides it had Christian symbols who's purpose alluded him.. but ont he third face, in scrolling letters lay a verse beneath the name “Connor Isaac Harm”

"What on EARTH does all of that mean?" he sighed, scratching the back of his head... He kneeled down and rubbed the dust away fromt eh verse, having not understood the jumbled letters he saw. He began to recite the words, making them out and speakign them aloud, unaware of what was happenign around him. trails of unearthly shadows wafted around the cemetery, silent sighs of those long gone sounded in the night as the moon shone upong the corroded mineral-filled letterings.

"Heh.. Venre Veritas..." he said, pondering the words a moment and trying to stand.

Suddenly gravity seemed to pull upon him heavily, and he was anchored tot he spot, pressure bilding behind his eyes. he let out a harsh gasp of air as he felt his lunges constrict....

and then all was silence, the last thing her remembered before waking up back in granite Point in his own home... was the sound of his wine-bottle shattering as it fell from his hand... and two words engraved into his mind

  2. Balthazar stood in his study looking over his law books deciding what would be the lesson for tomorrows class. He had spent hours trying to figure it out and he still had his government class to prepare. *Well think, we just went over how to shepardize case law maybe we should go over global citing and internet research.* He thought to himself.

He looked up from his law book at rubbing his eyes, "Damn why is tonight so difficult to do work?" He moved his hand away from his eyes and looked around his study. It was the biggest room in his residence followed closely by the living room. The study was painted in earthly tones which were mostly hidden by walls lined with books, everything from William Shakespeare to every law reporter ever written. The only space between the books was a floor length window on the west side and a door on the opposite side. There was two throne like chairs in the corners, their line of sight crossing at one giant table covered with books and lined with wooden chairs. Balthazar moved over to this table, moving some books away when he reached his destination and sat down with the book in his hands.

He blinked looking at a page and when he opened his eyes he was at the window looking at the moon that was so bright he had thought he heard some morning birds chirping. HE tried with all his might to look from the pure white burning orb in the sky but his will would not function. He could only stare. Suddenly he felt a pain coming from his shoulder blades and then from his spine midway down his back, and still he could not move. That damned moon just stared at him from its place in the sky. The pain grew and grew to an excruciating sensation. He grit his teeth trying to move, to some how alleviate the sensation. Then when it felt that he could take no more two sets of intricate designed, bloodied wings burst from his back on set overlapping the other. He screamed in enormous pain and his body was allowed to fall to its knees, but his eyes bulging from their sockets stayed glued to the damned moon, "GAHHHHHHHH, WHAT IS........... WHY IS....................... OH GO............... THE PA..........." his eyes turned to a deep crimson as they stayed glued to the sky above and the room felt so cold.

Balthazar awoke early that morning. The sun had not even shown its face. HE sat up to look out the window again, but there was no moon to be seen. *Was it all a dream?* No that couldn't be it the pain, though lessened, was till there. After sitting for a minute or two he finally realized that only two words entered his mind no matter how much he tried to think of something else.

They were at the swimming pool of the school after it was supposed to be closed, just two teenagers having late night fun. She was in her bikini, her back completely visible with its halter straps.

Adona didn’t know how to respond to that: she had only noticed the tribal-like markings a few days ago, and hadn’t gotten a tattoo ever. “I’ve always had them. We just haven’t been swimming before.”

Jasper scoffs. “I have seen your back before. There’s no way I’d miss that.” He said, referring to their night to eachother a few months ago, where they’d almost had sex, but he hadn’t had any protection, so they stopped.

“You know how shitfaced you were that night. Who knows what you did or didn’t see?”

“Yeah, sure,” he said, scoffing. “Whatever, let’s go. Someone’ll probably look at the cameras soon, and if we’re caught again, we’re screwed.”

Walking Adona back to her dorm, he kissed her goodnight, and left. Moving to the bathroom, she began washing her face, when she collapsed on the floor, a great pain flooding over her. Looking at her reflection in the full length mirror on the door, her breathing becomes labored, shallow. She clasped her hands over her mouth, not wanting to alert other students to what was happening.

In full view of the mirror, ghastly wings, like the veins of a butterfly’s but made of lightning, shove their way out of Adona’s shoulders, blood spattering on the floor, the cabinet, and the shower’s door. She cried out, a second-long scream purely made of what was happening and what she saw.

She had never been one for religion, but in those seconds, she prayed to every god she had ever heard of, silently glad that her roommate was with her family for the break.

A purple mist surrounded Adona, an after-effect of what had suddenly come from her shoulders. Trembling, she pushed herself up, holding onto the sink counter for stability. Grabbing a roll of gauze, she took off her bikini top, and began rolling it across the wounds, gingerly avoiding the wings.

After she had staunched the bleeding, she dragged herself to her bed, and lay there in pain for the remainder of the night, cleaning the blood in the morning.

  4. "Yo', dawg! Put on your pants man!" Gabriel laughed along with his group of friends, old Seniors that had invited him to yet another party before the classes started again. With a half-empty bottle of beer in his hand, Gabriel looked at his watch and started saying goodbye to his old companions with either a half-hug or a fist-bump, like in their old days in school. He hiccuped once and made his way out of the old warehouse where the party was going on. It was his third night in the city, he had left Granite Point so he could have fun during spring break and not having to work with his uncle. He walked slowly down the street, a goofy grin plastered on his face, his eyelids so low you could say he was sleep-walking.

He unconsiously touched his back, going under the black leather jacket and his red shirt, trying to find the black tattoo he discovered just two days ago. The night before those two days he had sneaked out of the club he was in with a girl and started to make out with her in an alley, when they were getting to the next level Gabriel had snapped his head over to the moon, his companion groaning in annoyance. The bright orb had suddenly seemed more interesting than the pretty brunette he was with, hipnotizing him and then making him step back from the annoyed female. After that, he felt something crawling up his shoulder blades and he could remember someone screaming, after that, he woke up in the motel he was staying in, thinking he had been too drunk and had imagined it, but not finding the girl again. Later, when going into the shower, he had discovered the weird markings that started to form on his back, thinking they were nothing and paying no mind to it. This time, though, he started to have different thoughts about them and thought it was better to check them when he got to his room at the motel.

Gabriel took off his jacket and shirt and stepped into the bathroom, turning around and raising an eyebrow when he found the tattoo was larger, a pair of broken wings. No, not broken...made of bones. His heart seemed to stop for a moment and so did his breathing. It moved. The tattoo seemed to crawl under his skin, trying to push through it; to get out. Gabriel's first thought was to run for the phone but his legs seemed to disagree and made him fell, his hands on the floor, keeping him from fainting. His breathing became rapid and came out in short pants whilst his shoulder blades burned and crippled on his skin. He arched back when a sudden shock ran down his spine making him gasp for air. He couldn't take it anymore, so he tried to let out the thing that was forming in his back. He forced it out, making it explode from behind, and letting himself fall face first on the marble floor. The mirror fell from its place on the wall and landed in front of Gabriel, the latter moving his head to see in the reflection what had happened to him. And he saw them. A pair of wings made from hundreds, maybe thousands, of small bones, perfectly done and so intricated you wouldn't even think they were bone. It was the last thing he saw before the light bulb exploded and he thought he had seen words form from the last sparks from it.

This words had been Atrox Anhell.

  5. The sun was slowly setting on another day for Ezra. She sat in a park just outside Granite poing sketching. Her book lay open on her knees and she was bent over it working quickly on a detailed drawing of a large spider that hung from the branch in front of her. She only had enough light left to finish this one because it was difficult to hold a flashlight and draw at the same time. She only glanced up occassionally, staring only at the spider and the sinking rays of light from over the horizon. The spider also felt the night coming and just as Ezra was about to finish the spider turned and scuttled up its web into its hiding place behind the branch. "Well, damn, why did you have to do that?" She slammed the book shut and stared at the empty spot in irritation, she would go pull the branch away, but this particular kind of spider was poisionous, or at least the book on insects and arachnids next to her said, and she really didnt have a wish to find out. She shook her head and put the sketchbook back in her bag and pulled out a flashlight. She moved from the parkbench she had been sitting on, grabbed her belongings and moved deeper into the park. This park had some small duck ponds, wooded areas, paths, gardens, the works. And Ezra loved it, she could study quite a few different forms of insect life here as well as other biological forms.

She moved to one of the wooded areas and sat below a tree. Pulling out her flashlight and some headphones; she opened her insect book and went about looking at others that she might find in this area. She sat there for a while, the light giving off a glaring reflection from the white pages. She was completely lost in the music blaring from the earbuds and the study book. No one so far understood that she loved learning, and loved biology, so while they would think she had lost her mind, she found that she gained more. So needless to say, she didnt see or hear the ski-masked man walk up beside her. Or at least he didnt think she did until he took that last step, leaned forward, and felt pressure against his upper thigh. Lookign down he would see one earbud popped out of her ear and a Derringer pistol shoved against the joint where his hips met his leg. "Unless you want to lose your manhood and bleed to death, I suggest you dont do that." The girl never looked up from her book, just cocked back the small caliber pistol and put half pressure on the trigger. Thankfully for her and the would-be mugger, he was smart. The man put his hands up and backed away slowly before turning and walking quickly away. Ezra watched him go from the corner of her eye. As she watched him go, something flickered in her vision. she jerked her head to the left and saw a large moth fluttering serenly through the air near her. "Oh my..." quickly she flipped through her book and found out what king of moth it was. Luckily for her, she had never seen this kind before.

Ezra got up and abandoned her spot and belongings as she wove her way through the small forested area after the moth. Hopefully it will land and I can just see it better. She thought as she stumbled over branches and slick spots of leaves. Some low hanging branches slapped against her face as she moved, her eyes never leaving the moth. As she stumbled over a root, she and the moth came out of the trees back into the park itself and the moth flew higher into the air. Ezra lifted her head to watch it and got a beautiful view as it crossed paths with the low hanging full moon. That's when it happened.

Ezra grabbed her left shoulder, her face contorted in confused pain. She was hot all over despite the coolness of the spring night. It felt like there was a searing fire running through her, and yet the fire she felt was really so cold it burned. Her grip on her shoulder tightened as she collapsed to her knees. It started in that shoulder, crossed to the other one, and then the pain in both sides traveled in waves down her back. Breathing became difficult as the cold fire spred through her body and she could feel it through her back, it felt like slush traveling through her bones. Then suddenly it was in her lungs. Her hand dropped from her shoulder and she fell completely to the ground. She couldnt breathe and it felt like the coldness was filling up her lungs, and suddenly she was terrified. W-what the h-hell is happening? Her hands scraped at her throat as she tried to breathe, it was so painful that no sound could exit her lips, especially when there was no air in her lungs to propel the sound. She felt the fire again through the back of her lungs and she tried to reach around to feel. her fingers touched the back of her ribs and her terror intensified. It FELT like there was something crawling just under the surface of her skin, but all her body felt was the cold liquid fire. In a panic and trying to scream she scratched and ripped at the skin under her hands, and as she did so, the crawling intensified. finally she broke through the skin on her ribs and the squirming ceases. ezra lay on her side for a moment taking a deep breath, for with the cessation of the movement also came the end of the fire. She barely had time to draw two breaths before the pain returned ten-fold. It threw her onto her stomach as the coldness literaly ripped it's way through the skin on her back and her shoulders. Out of the corner of her eye she saw an odd shaped wing fall over her face. The blackness of unconsciousness starting to blur her vision as the moth landed in front of her. as she succombed to the darkness, she though she saw something in the wings of the moth, and she would swear that it was words. words that would forever be emblazoned in her dreams.

  6. Serne looks at the clockon her night stand, 5:30pm, she only has an hour left to get ready and still hasn't figured out what to wear. She tried on a few different dresses and decided on a short, slinky, classy, yet sexy one shouldered little black dress. She curls her hair and pins it into a half up half down style. Does the finishing touches on her make-up and put on her shoes.

As she takes one last look in the mirror she hears the roar of his engine and the blare of his music pull up the driveway, she picks up her purse, grabs her jacket and heads down the stairs. As she gets to the door she yells bye to her parents and walks outside. The first thing she sees is the biggest most beautiful moon she has ever had the pleasure of witnessing. This moon gave her the feeling that something was going to hapen, She knew it would be a good thing it just had to be.

Then she sees his car. A Silver Bugatti Veyon. She thinks to herself " wow this is going to be a GREAT date." Next thing she knows DAvid is out of the car, opening her car door. She takes a second to look at him 6'4", muscular, brown hair and blue eyes, he's wearing a nice suit....Looks Good. As she climbs into the car he smiles and winks at her. She smiled back. David walked around and into the car and they peeled out of the driveway.

They had a 45 mile drive and with as fast as he was driving it wasnt going to take half as long and it normally would to get there, but she was already having a great time. Serene turned to David and asked " so how old are you?" He replyed "28, that's okay right?" She said " yeah, I'm so tired of the immature guys my age. It's a nice change to go out with somebody who knows what they are going to do with their lives." She smiled. He smiled big right back at her. They talked a little more and they pulled up in front of her favorite resturant "Que Fiero". She was astonished, how did he know, was this just a coincidence? He grinned at the look on her face, bit he wasn't planning on revealing his secret.

He gave the keys to the valet and the went inside, they were taken straight to their table. David ordered wine for them and offered to order them both dinner, she happily obliged. She had never gone out with someone as polite and charming as he was. He had even ordered her favorite meal. At this point she was ecstatic. They seemed to click so well. They ate their dinner, talked and drank their wine for 3 hours.

When they stood up to leave, he helped her put her jacket on and held her hand out to the car, then held the door again. As David got in the car he told Serene he had another surprise for her and headed toward the mountain. He kept driving up the mountain until they were almost to the top and pulled over to a look out point.

David looked her in the eyes and said "Serene, I feel such a connection with you, I wanted to show you something almost as beautiful ass you are." He got out of the car, opened Serene's door and walked her to the edge. The lights of the city were almost as beautiful as the moon was. They stood there and he held her every second they were there. She felt so safe, so warm, so close, she didn't want to move from that spot. Then he felt her shiver from the cool Spring night air and he led her back to the car. When they were both inside the warmth of the Bugatti he leaned over and kissed her, she happily kissed him back. Her arms around his neck, he had one hand behind her head and the other on her knee. Then things changed.

In the middle of that blissful moment she suddenly felt the worse pain she could have ever imagined in both of her shoulders. David sensed something was wrong and pulled away. Serene began crying, her skin was crawling, she got hot and cold flashes and began hyperventalating. Suddenly she was screaming and tearing at her back, then she seen David's face he had an awful shocked look as something came into view of her peripheral vision, it looked like a wing. The last thing she heard was David saying Atrox Anhell.

    Then everything went black.

  7. Lilith was watering her plants that she had in the green room of the house she was left in charge of while her parents are gone, She walked up to the door that led outside and opened it heading outside just to find that it was a nice night outside "wow look at everything its so beautiful." She was about to say something about the moon but when she looked up she couldnt remember what she was going to say, the moon seemed to be the only thing on her mind and thats when everything went black. Her Ipod had been playing really loud trying to wake her up for over a hour, she finally woke up just to find herself in her bed and whats worse is she couldnt remember anything that happened. Shaking the feelings off she went into her bathroom to get a shower taking her clothes off along the way until she came to the bathroom mirror to find that their was marks on her back. It would be putting it mildly to say that she paniced because as she looked and saw the black marks on her back she instantly screamed and passed out from shock. After hitting her head on the floor and being out for about another hour she woke to find herself on the bathroom floor and she remembered what made her pass out "oh no no no i know i didnt do anything as stupid as get a tattoo i mean i dont even like needles heck i dont even like make up half the time." She kept trying to think of reasons for it to be their but she could not come up with anything "its not even possible i dont drink and nobody has even been here to drug me." She ran to her bedroom to get a better look with her full body mirror, as she got to the mirror a sudden pain in her back dropped her to her knees. The pain was almost like something clawing to get out or even moving in her skin and with tears running down her face she put herself in the fetal position she was wanting the pain to be over quickly and with one final burst of pain it was but she could not see anything because of her tears but before blacking out she heard her radio switch to another song and only get out two words before she was out. the words kept screaming at her even while out she wouldnt be able to forget the words ever.

  8. The sunrise bloomed shades of scarlet and mauve across the sky. The crisp chill of winter still lingered in the late spring air as birds sang out to the sky and the chattering of daily life began in Granite point.
The private school stood on the second tallest hill in the mid-sized burg. Separated into three wings, the place was a wrought iron and stone castle with high turrets, and a small chapel akin tot eh sort found in large multi-plex hospitals. Among other features, the school had a living quarters for the teachers, a large multi-seasonal sports field, and tennis courts. The only downside to such a beautiful place,.. was the hours. Class started at 6:30 AM three times a week, and at 7:00 the other two.

The parking lot was a crowded, orderly patch of painted pavement, and the main walkway was a slope with stairs on either side and hand-rails.

    -------

Jareth paced up the stairs at Five that morning, sitting ona concrete bench at the top of the slope into the main hall were all the labs and the cafeteria and offices were. he had on a classy wool coat, buttoned up, and black slacks with the arguably most interesting footwear any of the teachers owned. bright white snakeskin boots. the fencing instructor watched as a few of the other faculty came n, nodding to them as he ate his breakfast. a golden delicious apple and a leftover subway sandwich from in-town.

  9. Balthazar still groggy from the night before stumbled in to the cafeteria in the attire of a lawyer; He wore a black suite with a white shirt underneath and a black tie. Covering his clothes was a black wool long coat. His hair was sloppily combed and still looked as he rolled out of bed. His glasses were slightly askew but was only noticeable if someone looked at him closely. Balthazar spotted the fencing instructor and did his best to walk normally over to the table. He made it with little trouble and slumped down. He looked at the fencer with heavy bags under his eyes, "Good morning Jareth, how are you this school day?"

  10. Upon waking up, Adona realized it was already six, and she had shy of twenty minutes to get ready for her lessons, the first of which was her sport, fencing. Not bothering to shower, only to change and brush her hair, Adona looked at her body, at what had happened yesterday. Indeed, it wasn't a dream, and there was still gauze on her shoulders.

Not feeling up to moving around a lot today, Adona faked ill to the nurse, and got a pass to sit out. Outside of the locker room, she handed the teacher her note,
"I had a, uh, an accident, yeah, an accident, over the spring holidays, Mr. A." It was obviously a lie, but she hoped that he'd let it slide. She tried to smile convincingly, but that only added to the truth of it all. "I don't believe I will be able to preform at my best in my current state." That part wasn't a lie, and she thought it added to the suspected 'reality' of it.

  11. "i feel like i got run over by spring break.. i went intot he city for a few days.. i think someone mugged me by the cemetery but.. phew.. i dunno, Balthazar.. It was.. just a very wierd couple of days." he said, leanign back. he grimaced as his sore back hit the chaair behind him and he rubbed his neck a bit from the ache.

  12. Balthazar refrained from moving back or for that matter moving at all his entire back hurt to much. Even the comfortable position of just sitting aggravated his back. "You and me both Jareth. Maybe we should talk to the board about revoking spring break." Balthazar laughed, "It seems that a lot of the faculty and students just seem too out of it to be back." He grimaced in pain as his back began to act up from the laughing and movement of his lungs. He looked about noticing that several people look especially out of it this morning; a few more than others.

  13. Gabriel groaned as he literally rolled out of the bed, setting his feet on the floor to not hit it. He looked over at his clock. 6:10 it read. Someone was pounding on his door. His uncle, obviously, yelling at him that he was going to be late for his first day atschool after Spring Break. Not that he cared that much of it. Gabriel was always late and skipped the first class most of the time, hwne he wasn't caught by a teacher. Gabriel stood up, cracking his back and wincing as he remembered he now owned a pair of weird things on his back. It had been difficult to hide them, but he was able to, pressing them all he could to his back. It had been like that since he returned to Granite Point 2 days ago. 6:15. He reached for a white shirt and a flannel shirt to put over with his only pair of jeans.

He walked mindlessly around the parking lot and then rested upon one of the cars, maybe it was Professor Bhaltazar's, and let out an exhausted sigh.

  14. Lilith had made her way to school early like she always did just because of that night it wasnt like she was going to be any different than before. She made her way to her class her bookbag making the pain in her back worse, She place her bag on the ground next to her and then sat in her chair. She grabbed a huge and heavy book from her bag and began to read a book about nature "where was i oh yeah the insect eating plants." She read quietly but every once in awhile her back would hurt her and she would wince in pain.

  15. "First day back, oh joy, oh rapture." Ezra thought to herself as she slunk through the hallways. She still felt awful. Spring break had NOT been as fun or productive as she had hoped it would be. And flashes from that night still crept in occassionally. She shuddered as she thought of it. Luckily for her though, she didnt have any friends and the others here at the school just seemed to ignore her presence. So, maybe noone would notice the dark circles under her eyes, or her tendency to twitch her shoulder blades, or anything else she had caught herself doing lately.

First day back, and already she was early, she was there before most of the teachers, and was walking slowly and quietly towards the biology room. She had some drawings that she wanted to finish and then show to the professor. She had seen some interesting insects that she couldnt find listed in any of her books. As she passed an open door, she could hear two of the professors talking, something about they felt like they had been hit by a bus...or at least thats how she took it...and it surprised her that there were apparently quite a few others that felt that way. She quickly peeked into the room as she walked by and recognized the two...and she found it odd that they would feel that way, especially since at least one of them wasnt known to go out and party. "Hmmm, I wonder whats going on? Maybe I should be more attentive and see if I can find the others." She muttered under her breath as she passed the room and made it to the end of the hallway and into the biology room.

  16. "must've been the full moon, eh/" he chuckled to balthazar. " you know how crazy people get." he said, knowing more than anything.. wait.. why would balthazar flinch when his back touched the chair-

He was cut short of thought as the bell rang. classes beconed The fencing instructor to worka nd he stood, sipping his coffee and throwign the empty cup away.

"take care of yourself, czar." he said, a term of respect and a nickname he dearly loved to torment the law instructor with.

    -----

the day wore on seemingly without end, and a school assembly was announced for after school that day to attend to a matter of 'great importance' nobody quite knew what all this was about, but the jovial tone int eh princials voice made it seem like nothing.

Clouds floated over Granite Point lazily and a small storm rumbled distantly off in the ocean.

  17. Gabriel made his way through the crowd. According to what he had heard, there was going to be an assembly of something of 'great importance and urgency', as they had described it. He had no idea of what had being going on, he had slept through 2 classes and didn't give a thought to whatever they said through the speakers. Yet he had nowhere to go after he was swallowed up by the see of heads that stretched aorund him. He could see even some of the personal were not that happy about it, they even seemed to be somewhat annoyed by it. Outside the windows he could see the light rain that had sterted to fall.

  18. Balthazar couldn't concentrate fro the life of him on this day. All he knew at this moment was that he was lecturing about some precedent case and handing out a brief of the proceedings. "And...... uh........ sorry." He said losing his train of thought in last night's incident, "Oh right I know that you guys haven't done this yet but I want you to find your own precedent case and give me brief on it. This assignment is due Monday next week. And yes yes I know 'but we just got back from break why are you giving us such a project and making ti due so fast' or something like that. Don't worry I will be explaining brief writing tomorrow and I know you all remember your research skills from before the break. So let us continue." He walked to the board and began to write down important information that the students would need for a test. Luckily this was second nature to him and he didn't need to think when writing this stuff. Half way through his lecture as he was writing he caught himself writing ATROX AN......... He quickly erased the writing hoping no one saw.

  19. Ezra sat in the biology room, luckily for her it was also her first period class. She set down her text book and listened to the professor drone on and on about everything and nothing. And for some reason today, she just couldnt concentrate, which was odd especially in this class since it was her favorite. But hearing that there were others feeling like this made her feel disconnected. She couldnt get it out of her mind.

Lunch came quickly and instead of eating she hurried quickly to the teachers lounge looking for the two teachers whose classes she had opted out of this year. She stood outside waiting for the fencing instructer and the law professor, but especially the law professor. He had looked the worst this morning and the most paranoid about it. Good thing for her she was stubborn as a donkey, she was NOT going to give up until she knew what was going on. As she waited for them she looked through her sketch book and turned to the moth she had seen that night in the park. And sure enough, even though she didnt remember drawing it, those words really were engraved on its wings. Or at least that's what her subconscious mind put down on the paper.

  20. Gabriel lasted at least 10 minutes in the History class room before he was asked by the teacher to leave to the director's office. He obviously didn't obey, taking his schoolbag and leaving the class in long strides. He had gone behind the school's chapel, knowing no one actually went to the back of it and started to read his various comics, brought directly from the city by a friend of his. He couldn't concentrate, there was a constant itching on his back. He knew exactly what it was but he made his mind think otherwise. The faces in each panel changed suddenly, dissolving into something out of this world, faces with fangs and wings made of strange materials and the text bubbles repeating the same over and over again. He quickly closed the comic before he could cry out loud in fear. He stuffed his stuff into his bag and decidde to wander around school, away from the teachers' eyes, of course.
