40,000 BC
Cro-Magnon appear in Europe
32,000 BC
Europeans understand how to harden clay by firing them in an over at high temperatures.
30,000 BC
Invention of the bow and arrow.
The date is 20,000 BC. Somewhere in a place that will one day be France, cave paintings of horses, aurochs, and rhinoceroses are being made. Man has come far from his hairy and unclothed ancestors. Advanced stone age weapons are in use, though people still struggle with fire, not blessed with the knowledge of how to start it, only able to maintain it. Nor have people learned to domesticate animals or crops, yet. Without a ready supply of meat and vegetables, they must hunt, scavenge, and forage to survive.
Into this harsh landscape are thrown our unwitting time travelers. A malfunction in their time machine has flung them back thousands of years into the past, landing them here. Now, it's up to them to survive the landscape and it's many dangers while trying to make repairs to their time machine so they can return to their own time. Perhaps they will even meet their ancestors along the way.

Would anyone be interested? Details are still a bit foggy. Thoughts/Questions/Suggestions?
