He sat hunched over the intricate contraption, the innards gleaming under his desk lamp. He gazed over the painstaking array of tiny wheels glistening before him, tapping his fingers on the table absentmindedly, before reaching out with unhurried precision and carefully picking one up with his tweezers. It slotted in smoothly, the ease with which it was done belying the skill of the craftsman. This was repeated several times, each new piece building a network too complex for the uninitiated to follow, before he heaved a sigh of relief. The contraption was connected to a small kinetic generator, and as it spun up he surveyed the whirring of the cogs and gears, nodding slightly to himself as he scanned down the whole thing. Satisfied, the generator was disconnected and the cover slapped over the gears.

"It's done."

His client strode over. Dressed in an impeccably cut pinstripe suit, he was the spitting image of the fashionable older gentleman, though the right arm of his jacket hung empty. Frowning slightly, he whipped off the jacket, exposing the fact that his right arm was missing, as was his right sleeve. The device slotted into the socket visible through the right armhole, whirring as the implanted kinetic generator got to work. Twisting and rotating, small gears manoeuvred the components into position as a spindly arm unfolded. "Flawless as ever", his client mused, admiring the handiwork. The mechanical arm reached into a pocket, pulling out a gold coin with an archaic design. The arm moved smoothly and effortlessly as it flicked the coin towards the craftsman, who caught it before bowing slightly. "Best of luck with your...dinner party, Mr Johnson."

The assassin smirked slightly. "After the work you've done, I doubt I'll need it. Until next time." He walked out of the door and was immediately lost among the crowd. Back in the shop, the tinkerer wiped the sweat from his brow. Nice to see there were some out there who appreciated craftsmanship, and the reliability that came with not having to deal with EMP fields. They were a small select few, but excellent work meant excellent pay, after all.

Name: Lil' Smith

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Occupation: Blacksmith Poet

Species: Supa hawt fiah

Personality:
Lil' Smith likes to make rhymes. He also likes to do his smithing in perfect rhymth. He enjoys rhyming poetry and the cacophonous thundering of ecstatic hammering hitting molten steel. He enjoys them even more at the same time. It is, however, true paradise when his many apprentices work in unison to create the sickest beat in high fantasy history.

History:
Lil' Smith lives in a literal musical. It's odd, really. The world around him is dark and grim and bloody, deaths and foul magic the true ruler of the land. Except for anywhere in Lil' Smith's vicinity. Everywhere he goes, random jarring noises magically become rhythmic bass and backing tracks that beg him to drop the hottest free-style on the spot. And he usually does. Lil' Smith turns the world around him into a rap musical.

Sometimes his rap is so hot he literally spits fire, and he uses it to forge stuff.
Equipment:
Blacksmithing stuff. A shit ton of water just in case his rap gets too hot for everyone else.
Abilities and Skills:
  • God-tier lyricist.
  • Spit ground trembling fire.
  • Producing mixtapes.
  • God-tier bass and beatboxing
  • Train protoges
Strengths:
Everything
Weaknesses:
  • Mumble rap
  • Limp lyrics
  • People who refuses to dance
  • Blood
Other: His birth name was actually Lil' Smith
