where would I put a writing sample for critique?

If I have 1-page story with my OCs that I want feedback on, that's acceptable even though it's fiction instead of roleplay, right?

Should I make a thread requesting critique in Creative Showcases & Challenges (showcase...) or General Chatting?

Creative Showcase is exactly where you should put it. If I'm not mistaken there's even a tag for critiques there.
