"You're amazing, you're amazing and it's true,"

Axel chuckled. "There's nothing wrong with it!" He assured the redhead. "Your skepticism on magick is funny to see, sometimes, is all. Especially after everything we've seen together."

Lily let out another surprised noise as she ducked behind the car again to hide from the shrapnel from the expoding bots. One again she peeked out from the safety of the damaged car to watch as the Ninja beheaded the last robo-ape. "Whoa.." She whispered in awe.
Wait.. everyone at school was always talking about how bruce the Ninja was, maybe this was her chance!
"Excuse me!" She called out as she quickly stood up from her hiding spot. "Mr. Ninja?"

"When I saw your face, you made me feel like a stranger in a brand-new place..."

"Magick is just a type of science that hasn't been broken down." Wally redirected.

"That's a long time and a lot of magick no one's been able to break down." Robbie added in with a smirk. "I mean, take Lily and her siblings. Axel, me." He listed off. "You two are different." Wally huffed. The Team as a whole either rolled their eyes playfully and/or chuckled under their breaths.

"Smoke- whoa!" Randy halted mid swing when hearing someone call out- and- sweet cheese - she was breathtaking!
Uh oh, why was it hot? Summer was over! It was starting to get to fall! Randy cleared his throat and put the smoke bomb away, "Yes? Oh fair citizen?" He quickly replied and his more 'Ninja' voice. Aka, his more 'grown-up-ish' voice.

"No one can save me, no one can save me like you do,"

"If you say so, speedster." Axel huffed lightheartedly. Glancing out the window, they could see Norrisville on the horizon. "Speaking of Lily and her siblings, do we still have their address on file?" He asked. Seemed like the best place to look for her.

The bronze eyed teen gave a sheepish grin when the Ninja turned to acknowledge her. "Sorry to bother you. I'm new to Norrisville, and I hear my classmates talking about you a lot. I was hoping.. you'd be comfortable if I get a photo with you? Pretty please?" Lily asked hopefully.

"And it felt so good, to be understood..."

"As a matter of fact, we do." Robin replied, soon pulling up a holographic map for them on the big screen. The siblings' home not much farther off.

A picture- with him?! No-! She wanted a picture with the Ninja, not Randy. Still... how could he resist that face? Maybe if he got lucky, he'd get to see how she smiled! "Well, fair citizen, I don't see why not." What harm could it do? Just a quick selfie and then he'd be gone.

"'Cause I see sparks fly, whenever you smile,"

"Perfect." Axel said, pausing when the noticed the giant, piramid building in the middle of the city. "Jeez, what is that place?" He questioned. "And why does it look like a supervillian HQ?"

Lily brightened the moment the Ninja said yes, and quickly took her phone from her pocket. "Thank you, so much!"
The brunette got close to him as she held up her phone, and the Ninja could spot in the reflection as she snapped a photo, that she had the warmest smile he'd ever seen.
"This is perfect! Thank you-thank you!" Lily said again. "Someone at school is bound to want to be my friend now that I met you, you're all anyone talks about." She confessed.

"But there's so much I wish I could say..."

"That would be McFist Industries." Robin regarded with a grimace of annoyance. "You sound like you already met." Esther smirked a bit. "More of less, he's... pretty loud." The Boy Wonder admitted. "He's had a lot of inventions made, they're more popular in Norrisville than any other city though."

He was right.
She looked even more beautiful when she smiled!

Randy was grateful for the mask, for it hid his blush successfully as the photo was taken.
But wait- "What? You don't have any friends?" He frowned underneath his mask. "But you're so sweet!" Why wouldn't anyone not want to be friends with her?

"Time slows down whenever you're around,"

"Makes sense. Never heard of the guy before." Axel hummed a bit. "What kind of inventions does his company make?"

At the hero's compliment, Lily's freckled face turned pink. "O-oh, thank- thank you!" She stammered out, hiding her growing smile behind her phone shyly. That was a nice thing for him to say, but he was probably just being nice..

"I appreciate the photo and.. everything! I'll let you get back to your, uh, Ninja work." Lily gave a nervous laugh when she took a few steps back and bumped into the parked car she had been hiding behind before. "You're fantastic, Ninja, bye!" Lily waved good bye before taking off down the sidewalk towards the Game Hole, hoping she was blushing as much as she thought she was!

"When you hold me in the street-"

Robin's lips twitched, like he was fighting back a grin of sorts as he pulled up a holographic screen for everyone to read off of. Reading the list earned a good number of chuckles and smiles from everyone. "He just adds Mc- to everything." Artemis managed to get out between chuckles. "Can't imagine why it's not popular everywhere." Wally added in with a smirk, the pair realizing they were agreeing on something and looked elsewhere.

Was she blushing? 'Oh my sweet cheese-!' Randy thought to himself in shock as he stared at the cute brunette before him. He stood there, later realizing like a shoob- as the cute brunette headed off towards the Game Hole.
Wait... the Game Hole?!

"Haha! Yes! Smoke bomb!" Throwing the smoke bomb onto the street, the red and oh so familiar scent of the gross smoke, Randy used it to vanish. Working over time to slip back into the Game Hole. Maybe if he got lucky, she'd want to be friends with Randy Cunningham and- oh... oh! Howard! They were bros through and through, he really hoped Howard didn't drive her away or decide against including her in their duo...

"I can feel my heart, it's beating in my chest,"

"Okay wait- hang on, I wanna try whatever McFistios are!" Axel laughed. "That is the weirdest sounding cereal I've ever heard of!" He said, having pulled out his phone to look into the product directly.
"These look so bad for you." He chuckled

Lily made it to the Game Hole in record time, even accounting for her brief stop to meet Norrisville's hero.
She stopped outside for a moment to collect herself and catch her breath, and after adjusting her bracelets a bit and shaking her head to rid herself of her blush, she headed inside. Immediately she was enamoured by the vibrant colours and sounds of arcade games, as well as the excitable shouts and chatter from other teens in the building.

"Do you ponder the manner of things?"

"Yeah, I'm not letting Gabe anywhere near this crap." Robbie scoffed and quickly turned off his holographic screen after a moment. "Good thing it's only popular in Norrisville." Esther pointed out, earning a little chuckle from the young man. The map soon beeped before them.

"Almost to the siblings' home." M'gann replied, her skin soon shifting from green to her Caucasian appearance.

How to approach the subject?
Be direct or-

Randy snapped out of it when hearing the oh so familiar sounds of the game before him, let him know he lost.
"Haha! Too bad Cunningham, my turn!" Randy grunted a bit when Howard pushed him aside to start playing the game once the game token was inserted. "What the juice- I was still playing that!" Randy glowered at the redhead, who was focusing on the video game. "You were zoning out- it was kind of creepy." Howard pointed out, "So spill, what's bugging you?"

Howard was a lot of things, but he was still his bro through and through.
"How do you... uh... how do you feel about making our duo a trio?"
"Hahaha!" Randy was a bit startled by the bark of laughter that left his friend, his hands never straying from the game controls. "That- that's a good one Cunningham!"

"There I was again tonight,"

Tucking his phone away, Axel leaned over a little to get a better look out the window of the Bioship, too curious about what kind of place the siblings were living. They were out here on their own, after all. No parents, or at least that was what they'd all assumed considering both Caleb and Ivory's roots. Lily was the biggest mystery out of the three of them by this point. Caleb had mentioned that Lily found them injured and saved their lives, and Ivory had said that Lily's parents had forced her to restrain her magick her whole life. That made it sound like the brown and red haired girl had also run from home..

Lily took her time walking through the arcade, taking everything in with awe. She'd never gotten to go to an arcade before, it was horribly and wonderfully loud. "Okay.. just pick a group, introduce yourself, and ask to join in on a game.." She mumbled to herself as she scanned the area. Spotting a group of teens playing a 2D fighting game, she smiled and headed over

"Inside, a new me I'm ready, but who will I find?"

The Bioship hovered above a backyard in camouflage mode, allowing the disguised heroes to exit. "Stay close, okay?" M'gann regarded the Bioship before it took off.
Everyone looked around curiously as Robin pulled out his phone an started typing with one thumb. "Have we arrived?" Kaldur questioned.
"Double check-" The Boy Wonder sighed as Wally zipped over and knocked on the back door. "-ing." Robin finished with an annoyed mutter as he put his phone away.

"Uh... I wasn't joking." Randy admitted.

"Oh come on! Why do we need a third member of the group? What's wrong with us?"

"Nothing! I just think if someone just happens to be somewhat new in town and needs a friend-" Randy winced in sympathy as Howard's character died. "Cunningham, what did you do?" The shorter teen regarded with narrowed eyes. "I didn't do anything." The blue eyed male quickly defended. Howard's glower never faded. "Okay so I may have run into someone earlier when I was- you know-" He mimed putting on the Ninja mask, earning a loud groan from Howard. "And you sent them to us?!"

"I did send her anywhere-!"
Randy paused, his eyes growing a bit wide at the choked noise that left Howard. "'Her'? A girl?" The shorter teen regarded in a whisper of betrayal.

"Forcing laughter, faking smiles.. same old tired, lonely place,"

A brief moment of quite passed by, until they heard the lock flip and Ivory opened the back door. "Hello-" Her puzzled expression turned to shock as her eyes scanned over the whole group. "I-" She seemed a bit nervous as the realization of who was on her doorstep settled in. "This is a surprise.. is there something I can help you with?"
Silently she prayed that this wasn't a sign of there being any trouble.

"Wait! I-I'm not lying, I promise!" Randy heard a voice that was fresh on his mind cry out, just loud enough for him to hear over most of the acrade noise. "Uh huh, you met the Ninja?" Another voice questioned in a mocking tone. "And you think that'll make us like you?"

"Yes! I mean- no! I just-" Lily stammered as she took a nervous step back from the group that turned on her. "-wanted to be your friend.." She said, almost too quiet to hear.
"Go try to buy someone else's friendship."

"Clasping tight onto memories I know will be overrun (by a girl)..."

"We're not here for anything bad." Kaldur spoked up when seeing the anxious look on Ivory's face. "We just wanted to give your sister a new set of bracelets and give Hadal the old ones." He continued, Robbie holding the box up in question.

"Is Lily home?" M'gann asked.

Randy stilled when hearing that sweet brunette's voice, he hurried off, ignoring Howard's shouts for him as he reached the teen female. His heart breaking when seeing those shoobs make her upset. What was wrong with them?!
He took in a breath, he couldn't angry, he barely knew this girl!

Had to play it casual.

"Hey, excuse me- so sorry-!" Randy gave a forced chuckle as he came up to Lily's side and looped his arm through hers. "My buddy and I need a judge for this bet we've got going on- so if you fellas don't mind- thanks and bye!" The freshman quickly pulled Lily away before the shoobs could insult her anymore.

"Walls of insincerity, shifting eyes and vacancy.. vanished when I saw your face,"

Ivory let out a breath of relief, looking much more relaxed to know there was nothing wrong. "You just missed her, actually, she went out to the acrade. Did you want to come in?" She offered, stepping aside to welcome them.

Lily blinked, caught completely by surprise as a tall boy with purple hair and deep blue eyes rolled next to her and linked arms with her. Silently she let him lead her away with his charismatic words. Even the other teens were a bit too startled to protest, and let Randy whisk her away.

"Isn't it lovely?"

"That'd be nice, thank you." Esther spoke up, the others soon filing inside one by one by one. "You have a nice home." M'gann offered up as she and the others looked around. Being in the safety of the house, the redheaded female allowed her skin to turn green again.

Once they were a safe distance, Randy pulled back, his face flushed in embarrassment. "Sweet cheese- I'm sorry about that-" At this point he was rambling. "I just heard them act like total shoobs but I didn't want to start a big fight- and..." He trailed off with an anxious chuckle. "You're not saying anything-" No, no, no! Did he ruin things already as Randy Cunningham!?

"All I can say is, it was enchanting to meet you,"

"It's small, but it's home." Ivory said, smiling fondly at just being able to call it that.
Caleb looked up from the livingroom when he heard multiple sets of footprints, looking equally as surprised to see them as Ivory was, but not as concerned. "Hey. Wasn't expecting you guys so soon." He greeted, no doubt already aware that Hadal had sent them.

Lily snapped out of it when the handsome, tall stranger began rambling nervously. He looked close to her age, did they go to school together?
Without hesitation she held out her hand, waiting for him to shake hands with her. "Thank you for getting me out of there! My- my name's Lily Russes!"
If he was kindhearted enough to literally pull her out of a bad situation, then she had to make sure she didn't blow this!

"-'Cause I wanna see you smile..."

"We wanted to check up on you guys." Robin explained easily as they made their way into the living room. It truly was the definition of cozy. Most of the Team either stood or sat down.

"Hadal made new bracelets." Robbie explained as he gingerly gave Caleb the box.

He snapped out of it when hearing that oh so beautiful name.
Lily Russes.

Randy gulped a little before taking her hand to shake. "Randy- that's me, Randy Cunningham." He quickly introduced with a sheepish grin.

"You've got a smile, takes me to another planet,"

Caleb looked a bit relieved as he was handed the box. Thank goodness, Lily's current pair were starting to malfunction from overuse... "Thanks for bringing them." He said.
"No problem." Axel shrugged a little in response. He noticed Caleb's locket hanging around his neck and grimaced a little. Right. They needed to tell him that the other one was with Constantine and the Prince of Moriandus..

Lily's hand was quite warm as Randy took it to shake, but it didn't compare much to the warmth of her smile. "It's nice to meet you, Randy!" She shook his hand for maybe a moment or two too long, before tucking her hands behind her back sheepishly.
"Um, I don't suppose you and your friend really do need a judge?" She asked hopefully. "I've never played video games before.. but I can keep score for you!"
Ugh, why did she say that?! They were standing in an arcade, of course he wouldn't want to bother with someone who had zero skills in these games!

"Hope I don't regret this..."

Everyone pointedly glanced elsewhere when seeing the locket Caleb had.
They had to tell him!

Question was, who?

Everyone looked to Esther, the brunette blanching. 'Why me?!' She exclaimed through the link M'gann established before arriving. 'You're so good with words.' Wally supplied. 'Plus he listened to you back at the safehouse.' Robin pointed out. The brunette glowered at her teammates. She took a breath before facing Caleb.

"Caleb? You uh...know that other locket that Hadal has? Well, he lent to to a fellow Justice League member..."

Her smile was so bright and warm and- wait, she said something, gotta respond back!
"Well uh, I kind of just said that to get you away from those shoobs... but you can still hang out with us! I can show you our favorite games!" Randy quickly offered. "If you want to, I mean..."
