What's your cafe order?

If it's hot coffee, I want it black, bitter, scalding, and in small doses. Sometimes, a pinch of sugar if I intend to drink it with someone and be social.

Iced coffee, which I am somewhat more partial to, I will take with a shot of caramel and maybe a little cream, depending on the roast. I never order pastries or sandwiches from cafes. That's simply too much.
 
I keep ordering vanilla frappuccino when I go to Starbucks, but when I go to a place that doesn't have that, usually some kind of black tea or oolong tea.
 
I used to work next to a coffee shop owned by a couple from Israel. So, when lunch time came around, they'd always have me try something new - whether it was or wasn't on the menu. So, for a few extra bucks, I'd get a traditional Israeli lunch dish along with my large coffee to take back to the shop with me.

I really miss that place. Before I leave town for good, I'm going to have to stop in there one last time.
