What is the "characters" section for?

I understand the part about how your RP characters there, but what's the purpose? Is it for other people to check the character info or whatever and then, if they like the character, they'll message you asking if you want to RP or something? Or is it just a way to keep all your characters in order? Is it for character feedback?

All of the above!

Many members like having a place they can store their bios.

Some people like posting up characters that they want to find partners for!

Other people use it to create character folders for roleplays!

It's basically for whatever you find useful... or not to use at all if you don't need it. :)

It can be used for many reasons. Some people simply put their characters there for showcase and to have a place to store already used or in use characters. Others have them there to find a partner who wants to roleplay with them as that character.

When you create characters you can put them in different categories. If you put them into public showcase, then you're telling people that you aren't searching a roleplay for that character to be used in. If you put them in any other section, you indicate that they're available for roleplays, and people might message you about it. (Seeking one x one partner, seeking libertine partner, adoptable character, available for group roleplays and adapt-ably characters are the other categories.)
