Starter(?)
Ensio crouched behind the trash cans, watching through the gaps at the protoguards scanning the area. Luckily, they couldn't see through the material that the trash can's were made from. They eventually hovered away, and Ensio sighed in relief. He stood up, stretching his tired legs, and looked up at the dark sky, mostly out of habit.
The time was in the middle of the day, and it the sky was pitch black—the sun was covered up by a thick layer smog and smoke. The reason for this was because, over the course of many years, humans had broken the Earth. Though now it was simply called #1, and people would only ever be sent here as punishment.
Over 250 years ago, most of the rich people and celebrities were launched into space to another planet called Nessa, leaving the 'peasants' like Ensio to struggle to survive on miserable Earth.
Though when the higher-ups went off to Nessa, they failed to bring all their stuff. Robots originally designed to be servants gained sentience, and the sudden desire to kill and destroy any human that they come upon, which earned them the name 'protoguards'.
Though, luckily, they are quite clunky and not the brightest—which was probably the reason that they were left behind in the first place.
You don't have to continue this if you want to RP in this world, you can discuss a different story and start with me if you want.
