This could work as the inspiration for a steampunk adventure.

The captain of the flying machine sees something fall from the sky. When it splits open a humanlike being breaks free and asks them to see her to a great mountain far away, offering protection in return. There are many trials and perils along the way, beasts in the air, on land and in the depths of the sea, but true to her word the woman that fell from the sky protects. What is it that they find when they reach the 'end' of the journey?

(Even if the woman from the sky is a bit OP in this...would still be fun))
