I really like modern roleplays, especially hings involving romance and family. I also love fantasy, especially anything involving magic, mythical creatures, or gods and goddesses. Fandoms are nice, if I can play an OC. Since history is one of my passions, I like doing historical roleplays, mostly renaissance, 1800's, early 1900's, ancient civilizations, and anything wild west-like or based on pioneers. I do like Sci-Fi, mostly dystopian with some sort of rebellion or strict customs, something like that. I also like roleplays that take place in space if they have a good explanation of the universe that it takes place in. I'm not a big fan of horror or mystery, unless the horror is a sub-element to something else.

Welcome to the town of Westhallow, Oregon, USA
Pop. 1248
Est. 1866

Westhallow is a pretty small town nestled in Oregon. It isn't really known for anything aside from its gorgeous scenery and isn't considered a tourist destination for anyone but off the cuff campers. The town itself is located about 40 miles outside of Portland and 40 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The people of Westhallow are known for being friendly, hardworking, and family-oriented. The family-oriented part is probably the biggest part of their inter-town culture. Because in Westhallow, family, whether by blood, friendship, or happenstance, is the most important thing.

The town itself is an eclectic mesh of buildings, ranging in all styles and coloration. Even Main Street, the most uniform street in the town, is a colorful mesh of buildings. There is pretty much everything you could need in the town aside, mostly small businesses run by the families of the town. You won't find a Walmart or a McDonald's here, but the General Store and Nick's Burgers are pretty darn close.

Speaking of the General Store and Nick's Burgers, how about a small tour?

On the main street of Westhallow, you have the town hall, the local grocery store {where every weekend, the local farmer's market is held in the parking lot}, Clarke K-8 School, the General Store, a few smaller houses, and three restaurants. Several streets branch off from Main Street. One of them leads to the town's only park, a massive plot of land named after the town's founder Marianne Barkley. Another leads to Lewis High School and their playing fields along with the town-famous Nick's Burgers. The town also holds a small community college, aptly named Westhallow Community, three churches, one synagogue, and one mosque.

The town boasts a surprisingly reputable local library, two competing real estate agencies, a lake {Rossman Lake} and a reservoir {Barkley Reservoir}, and a supposedly haunted observatory at the top of Marianne Hill, the highest point in Westhallow. Other locations include the local coffeeshop, the ice cream palor/candy store, the Idelberron Hotel, the mechanic's, the arts and craft store, and many, many more spots. For the most part, Westhallow is considered mostly self-sustainable.

Most people in Westhallow either live in the main parts of the town or along the outskirts, though there are many people that live in the surrounding woods. There is also a small farming district to the east of the town, where ranchers have made their home.

Wherever you're from or wherever you're going, Westhallow is a perfect place to settle down and start a life. Again, welcome to Westhallow.

      Do-Hyeon | Outfit
The house was always quiet on Saturday mornings. Do-Hyeon never minded letting his kids sleep in on the weekends; if he wasn't so ingrained to rise with the dawn, he would likely be the same. And, to his knowledge anyway, his kids usually woke up and milled around in their rooms in the morning. As such, he typically spent Saturday mornings tidying up the house, finishing loads of laundry, walking the dogs. Things made more difficult by rampaging kiddos.

He would have to wake up the kids soon though to feed them and get them ready to go over to his sister's house. It was a monthly activity for the Lee family to get together. They alternated each month. Last week had been impromptu. They'd crowded into Do-Hyeon's house for a barbeque and a little joint family celebration for Shane's birthday. This week was a celebration for Rocco's birthday; though Do-Hyeon suspected that might've just been an excuse for Seo-Yeon to make a cake.

Either way, it was another dinner that month. Do-Hyeon briefly wondered if his parents planned on making the trip down for dinner this month. They lived in the city now, about 45 minutes away by car, so Do-Hyeon and Seo-Yeon rarely saw them. The two of them had always been relatively distant from their parents, closer to each other than anything. But now it had been at least three months since either of them had last seen their mother or father. They hadn't even shown up for Page's birthday even though prior to moving they had always doted on their grandchildren.

He wondered if they were pulling away for a reason. If time and distance would make the gap grow. If that was the case, he could likely pinpoint the exact moment. A moment before they moved but so much changed. When Do-Hyeon and Samba got a divorce. They had acted like everything was fine but it was clear how they saw the situation. And it didn't help when Seo-Yeon sided with Do-Hyeon and Samba's decision. It couldn't have been easy for her either; Samba was her best friend. But both Do-Hyeon and Samba had acknowledged that they had to do what was best for their children.

And what was best was splitting up. And then things happened in a whirlwind with Cici and now the two of them were expecting their first child together. He'd expected his parents to be over it by now. But, he supposed, maybe they weren't. Maybe they never would be.

Do-Hyeon paused in making breakfast sandwiches when the front door opened. A tired but happy looking Sun skipped in, swinging her overnight bag. Cici followed close behind and he offered her a warm smile.

Sun bounced up to the island, hoisting herself onto one of the barstools and leaning forward conspiratorially. Do-Hyeon smiled at his eldest child. "Did you have fun at Novalee's?" he asked as he continued putting together the food. He looked over Sun's head at Cici. "Can you wake up everyone, dear?"

After she answered, his attention dipped back to Sun. "Yeah!" Sun answered before she started prattling away about whatever shenanigans she'd gotten up to with Novalee Stoner and Poet Binici.

Part of the way through, she paused and frowned. "I wish I coulda stayed longer," she said.

"We're going to Auntie's today though. You love Auntie and Uncle's house."

"Yeah..." Sun agreed before tilting her head to the side. "Are we having dumplings?"

"I'm pretty sure she's making japchae and dumplings," he said as he slid a finished breakfast sandwich towards her. "Is that alright with you?"

Sun gave him a toothy grin. "Course it is, Papa!" she said before munching down on her food.

      Anja | Anja's Outfit | Prairie's Outfit
Anja kinda sorta maybe didn't like being pregnant. Well, that wasn't entirely true. She loved the early stages of pregnancy and the euphoria that came with it. She loved seeing her tiny jellybean grow and grow and grow. And she loved, loved, loved her children, more than anything else on the earth. But the last couple months? She didn't like those. Mostly because it meant that she couldn't go up to the mountains. So she had to settle for a quick jaunt around their country roads in the early hours of the morning.

Today had been a surprise though. Because today, Prairie had wanted to join. It wasn't uncommon for Prairie to want to go on hikes with Anja in the morning. However, it was a bit uncommon for her to want to go on one of the simple walks Anja had been going on for the past few months. But Prairie was already dressed and ready to go so she'd brought her along and taken Jaxon along too since he seemed anxious for a walk.

Anja had expected Prairie to want to discuss something. Maybe something school-related or art-related but their walk remained relatively free of conversation. When they returned home about an hour later, Prairie thanked Anja before running up to take a shower.

Anja watched her go with pinched brows. She shook her head a bit before reaching down to let Jaxon off his leash. She glanced up when she heard footsteps approaching and smiled when she saw Robert with Orphia on his hip. "Good morning, husband," she greeted as she stepped forward and gave her husband a small kiss. She turned to Orphia, smattering her face in kisses. "And good morning to you, sweet girl. Do you want to help Mama feed the duckies?"

She typically fed the chickens in the early morning and the ducks later, just to space out their times. Working from home definitely had its benefits. "Why don't you go find the buckets?" she said, giving Orphia another kiss on the crown of her head before watching her skitter away. It was still a little hard to believe that in less than four months, she'd have another baby on her hands. She turned to Robert, "Prairie was acting a bit quiet this morning when we went on our walk. Do you mind talking to her?"

Ashley Boswell | 176 W Maple Drive | 34 Weeks Pregnant (Genders Unrevealed)
On this Saturday Morning, Ashley woke up to a quiet home. Then again, it was just her and her husband. Thankfully crime wasn't too much of a problem in Westhallow, so Al's work schedule wasn't entirely that demanding, which meant that the parents-to-be could spend more time together before their twins arrive. The locals were very friendly and the worst that things get were probably occasional parking or speeding tickets. As random thoughts traversed through the woman's mind, she gasped as she felt one of her unborn babies latch onto her ribs. "OW!" She pouted before looking down at her belly, which has gotten a bit bigger over the last week or so. "Wow, you guys are so strong. Please let go of Mommy's ribs. That hurts!"

Finally, she slowly got out of bed and waddled into the restroom to get ready for her day, starting with a shower, then brushing her teeth, followed by doing her hair and then picking out a dress to wear. In terms of what to do, Ashley didn't have a whole lot planned and didn't really think about leaving the house. Sure, the nursery was finished, but she still needed to take care of some chores. Over the last few days she had been really slacking on them. Although she didn't want to admit it, pulling the pregnancy card did make her feel guilty, especially since she thought that it was overused. Frowning, she turned the shower off before wrapping her body in a towel and waddling towards the walk-in closet. She then plucked a Pink Floral Dress, which was one of her favorites. Straightening it out, she soon returned to the restroom to brush her teeth and do her hair. The only step she skipped was doing her make-up since she wasn't planning on leaving the house at all today.

As she made it into the kitchen, Ashley went ahead to make peppermint tea because she wasn't feeling all that good last night. Aside from the insomnia, most of her night was spent tossing, turning, probably a bit of whining due to all the cramps and contractions. While pouring the tea into her mug, her back started hurting. Looking down at the belly, she began thinking about how she could go into labor any day now. After all, it was twins. Once there was enough, she set the tea pot down and waddled into the living room, where she made herself comfortable on the couch. While slowly sipping her tea, Ashley contemplated on what to do for breakfast.

Stephanie M. Hyun | 184 Mullberry Lane | 39 Weeks Pregnant (Expecting a Girl)
This was her last week, Tiffany could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Her pregnancy wasn't easy, but she was certainly blessed with a loving wife. Eleanor was very loving and patient with her, especially when it came to her mood swings. Straightening out her dress, Tiffany continued to rest in bed, as she was worn out by contractions and cramps earlier that morning, having been woken up by them around sunrise. She looked down at the very pregnant stomach and gently started caressing it. "Just one more week of this and you'll be in my arms, hopefully sleeping, instead of kicking up a storm in my belly. Because this hasn't been all that easy." She mused before adjusting a pillow behind her.

Now what to do today...?

2749 CR 2005 | Shinoa Bradford - 36 Weeks Pregnant (Expecting a Girl) | Jessica Bradford
Having just gotten home from a Doctor's Visit, Shinoa was feeling rather winded because the pregnancy was taking its toll on her. Starting today, she was going to be visiting her Doctor at least once a week until delivery. She had a big family and four weeks from today, it was going to be bigger. Her other children, from what she knew, were all excited to meet their baby sister on the way. Her and her husband had settled on the name 'Liliana' for their new addition. Taking her slippers off, she proceeded to waddle into the living room and check her phone. Today was the Twins' 15th Birthday, however, earlier in the week Jessica did say that she wanted to have a relaxing day and was not interested in having a party, while Sabrina wanted to go hang out with friends. And the girls had intended to celebrate separately. Overall, Shinoa respected her daughters' wishes and held on buying a cake. While Jessica was likely sleeping, Shinoa was soon greeted by the younger twin. "Oh, morning Mom! How was your Doctor's Appointment?" She asked.

"It was fine, sweetheart. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just four more weeks and you'll have a new baby sister." She said before waddling over to her daughter and proceeded to give her a hug. "I know you weren't planning on having a big party or anything. But that's okay. I just wanted to tell you Happy Birthday!" She smiled as her unborn daughter started kicking against Sabrina when their stomachs touched.

The teen simply looked down at her mother's swollen belly and smiled. "She likes kicking a lot." Briefly, she got down on one knee and placed both hands on the belly. "Now young lady, you shouldn't give Mommy such a hard time." Sabrina then proceeded to give the belly a gentle kiss, prompting Shinoa to smile, even giggle a little. "Well, I'm glad someone's excited to be a big sister, even though she already is one."

"Someone has to be." Sabrina smiled at her mother.

"Oddly enough, she doesn't kick as much whenever I'm near your Father." She proceeded to help her daughter to her feet. "So what are you going to be doing for your birthday if you're not spending it at home?"

"I dunno, probably gonna go spend it with Kendra and Kylie. Go to the movies or something, maybe?" Sabrina looked towards the front door. Since it was rather early, she would have to give her two friends a call.

Maybe during this time, she could try and convince Jessica to come along. Or maybe even Kai? It would be nice to be able to have at least one of her siblings come and spend her birthday with her. For that matter, depending on the movie, Kendall could go too. But if the movie was PG-13, that was gonna be a no. And she doubted that her Mom wanted to, given how much the pregnancy has taken its toll on her. Shinoa then straightened out her dress before proceeding to go upstairs and clean up the nursery. Hopefully soon her husband can swing by and give her a massage...and bond with their baby.
