Elysa picked up the phone,
"Hello Kyle..." she said surprised, she hadn't heard from Kyle in years. The mother listened for a few seconds, "Listen call the ambulance now I'll come as quickly as I can. She's probably in diabetic shock or something." her mother said firmly. The woman didn't sounds panicked though she was panicking. She just knew especially when telling someone else what to do panic never helped. Plus there were little kids running around her and she didn't need them hearing her freak out on the phone because it would be harder to get them into the car.
Elysa Murphy put her hand over the speaker of the phone,
"JOSHUA!" she called for her oldest son at home right now. The boy came bounding in from the kitchen...of course,
"Run, get your father tell him he needs to come here now. Tell him Mommy says run OK?" she told the little boy calmly and sternly. Her son nodded and turning ran out of the backdoor out towards the fields. He was fast for his her age.
Mrs. Murphy removed her hand from the speaker,
"Talk to me, Ky, OK. If you're holding her lie her down on the ground. She might have a seizure OK? Just make sure she doesn't hit her head on anything..." she ordered the boy on the other end of the phone.
