IDENTIFIABLE RACE MARKERS || Sonya looks fairly human save for the odd coloration of her eyes. The rune markings typical to her kind, however, staved from the norm. The golden markings, instead of spreading out over her body, have compressed themselves to her back. However, because of the sheer amount, it makes her back look as if it where the color of her markings. The markings have since spilled over her hips and have managed to pour down over her thighs, covering the soft flesh in the same runic mark of her people. There is also two random groups of these runes, one on each palm of her hand.

PERSONALITY:
Sonya at first glance, is a quiet woman. She holds herself with grace and she knows her manners. The woman isn't a fighter, but she won't let someone walk all over her either. She has a love for books and learning, perhaps stemming from the healthy dose of curiosity she possess. She's good hearted and slow to anger, but once her temper is triggered she can be quite vindictive. The woman is terrified of snakes and is leery of water. She hates hot drinks and mint. However she loves chocolate. She's a bit of lightweight and doesn't usually indulge in the nightlife. It would take a special someone to get her to drink more than one glass of whatever kind of alcohol.

HISTORY:
Sonya grew up in the midst of a well-established family of magic users. She has two brothers, one older and one younger than she. As the only girl, her mother doted on her for most of her early years. The young girl began to show evidence of her own magic early, not an unusual occurrence. However the sheer power of her magic grew rapidly, making her an endangerment to any children her own age. She was put into private studies, being taught by the one of the current Wyse Men of her coven. Sonya spent many a year sitting in Gregory Thorn's library, not minding the isolation after the initial shock of it. Instead, she made friends with the books the surrounded her. She soaked up their knowledge and stories in the free time she had from her studies. These reading habits would stay with her throughout her lifetime.

Not long after Sonya turned 15, she was allowed to reenter school after Gregory determined she'd learned enough to control her magics. After struggling for a few months, Sonya soon began excelling academically. By the end of her first year, she was on the honor roll, a position she would keep throughout her academic career. She would continue to take private lessons with Gregory Thorn until adulthood.

Socially, Sonya always felt the bit of an outcast through adolescence, especially at first. But by the time she reached sophomore year in high school, she would relax to a degree. Even then, however, she found that she just couldn't quite befriend normal humans. They were just too oblivious and she hated having to bottle her talents up. So she stayed within her coven, befriending other magic users primarily. It wasn't often that the sheltered protégé would meet other Kin. But those she met, where often only in passing.

Sonya attended Rangaku University after graduating high school. For a human career, she chose to go into library sciences. Her magic studies evolved to try and right ritual spells, so she studies Magical Concepts and theories as well. However, she also spent time studying different myth's and folklore of the world and dabbling in literature. She met Gethin while she was gaining her degree. She had a run in with a violent kin and couldn't defend herself. He saved her. As they spoke, they stuck up a deal and a contract was made. The cursed Lyshin would protect the woman, in turn she would research and try to cure him of his curse.

Currently, she works at a library and although she's completed her library science bachelors, she continues to attend magical theory, composition, and concepts and similar classes at Rangaku University. She's since moved out of her parent's home and lives in her own small little cottage. A rare find smack dab in the middle of a city. But she has a little yard and a garden that she's proud of.
ABILITIES

Summoning
"Come, aid me!"
Sonya can summon contracted familiars, beasts, spirits, and other beings. So long as she's made a contract with them. She can also summon inanimate objects(as long as she knows where they are and can picture them.) Although she is capable of summoning monsters she is familiar with, without a contract, those monsters are just as likely to turn on her as they are to aide her.



Contract Magic
"Wanna make a deal?"
The ability to make a magically binding contract. She uses this in a variety of ways, from gaining permanent familiars, or sometimes gaining access to temporary elemental magic, and other applications similar in nature.

Current Contracts
Those who make a contract gain a seal in the same shapes as the runes that adorn Sonyas hands. this mark appears wherever she first touches after the contract has been made. Once the contract is completed or ends, the seal disappears.
(Any of the contracts are open if anyone wants to play one. Just hit me up with the changes you made so I can edit it in. Or if anyone wants to establish a contract with their character pre or during IC. That's cool to.)

Gethin Black
A Lyshin who was somehow cursed to remain in wolf form. Gethin lives in city and comes from one of the local neutral packs. However, he spends a lot of time with Sonya.
In exchange for his protection, Sonya has sworn to look into removing his curse. She has promised to find out how, and if she is able, to rid him of it herself. If she cannot. She has promised to help him find someone who can.
Naturally lives on this plane and dosen't disappear if a summoning ends. However, if he misses the return portal, he has to make his way back home mundanely.
Gethin's seal is on his left shoulder.

Veydra
A divine spirit who takes on the form of a small silver dragon with feathered wings. Veydra was the very first familiar Sonya formed a contract with. Veydra lives on belief. Meaning, if she were to be completely forgotten, she would die.
In exchange for her services, Sonya has promised to be Veydra's anchor to the world and to always belive in Veydra's existence, which promises that Veydra will live as long as at least Sonya is alive.
Can only be in this plane during a summoning. After the summoning is over, she goes back to her own plane of existence.
Veydras seal is on the right side of her neck.

Haloon
A spirit who takes on the form of a knight whenever summoned. Haloon, once upon a time, was a living Kin. However, somehow, he died long ago. But he dosen't remember who he was, how he died, or anything that happened.
In exchange for his protection, Sonya promised to try and find out who he was. She also promised to be his anchor and to keep him from turning into a rabid ghost. They have a clause, that should he ever begin to lose himself, that she was to find an exorcist and end his existence so that he could disappear with honor and not sink into madness.
Can only interact with the material world during a summoning. After the summoning is over, he goes back to being a simple ghost.
Haloons seal is also on the palm of his hand, where he shook Sonyas as the deal was struck.

Kyrie
A chimera beast. Possesses a beast intelligence for the most part.
Sonya isn't quite sure how she managed to form a contract with a beast. But the contract states that because Sonya saved Kyrie from being hunted and killed by a couple of Djin, that he would protect her whenever she called for his aid.
Naturally lives on this plane and dosen't disappear if a summoning ends. While he can stay after the summoning ends, he will always return through the portal that appears at the end of a summoning.
Seal is on the center of Kyrie's forehead.

Axel McCarthy
A mischievous Kitsune that Sonya met while he was visiting from England. Whenever he appears, he always takes a human form however he lets his ears and three tails show. He always seems to wear a smirk.
This contract was actually a bit of an accident. Sonya had been in the middle of trying to forma contract with what she suspected was another spirit when the English gentleman she'd been having dinner with took her by surprise claiming that he'd always protect her, if she gave him a kiss. Which he promptly stole while she still had the contract magic in place. Needless to say, the harmless prank became binding.
Naturally lives on this plane and doesn't disappear if a summoning ends. However, if he misses the return portal, he has to make his way back home mundanely. Seeing as he lives across the world, he usually takes the portal home.
His seal is on his right cheek. Where she promptly slapped him after he stole a kiss.

"Witchcraft"
"Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble. ;) "
This magic is dependent on materials. As long as she has the recipe, she can cast whichever spell she finds in a spell book. But instead of instant casting, this is ritual magic and often takes the time to follow the recipe and craft. But it lets her make the typical magic's one would of when thinking of traditional witchcraft. She uses it to make potions or enchant items mainly. She's just begun to try and write her own spells. She's also trying to learn to write these recipes as well. This she is still working on.

Barrier Magic
"The best way to not get hurt…is to put something between you and the thing trying to hurt you."
Sonya can form barriers. Each barrier can perform a multitude of defenses. However, the more defenses a singular barrier has, the smaller in scale it must be to remain effectiveness. The largest barrier she's ever formed surrounded her parent's mansion. Her average barrier, however, is usually just enough to surround herself.

PERSONALITY: Alfons can be very cautious when it comes to first contact ((with good reason!)) and very serious in most cases. When safety is assured though, you might find the Lycan to be more laid back and a pleasant fellow to deal with, especially when he is somewhere he can call home. His trust can be hard or easy to gain depending on how desperate he is in circumstances, but once he is able to call someone a friend, he is willing to put everything on the line for those close to him. Ontop of all that: he is a stubborn one and a warrior to the end, those close to him being the only ones who can pull him away from a fight, but even then he is a rather grumpy individual.

HISTORY: Alfons Lorenzo was a Lycan raised in a pack that was both famous and infamous, depending on who you asked. The pack, known as the Bloodfang pack, was in its more memorable years during its time, a time where they had wealth, power, and territory. They were a target for many who seeked respect and power during that time, their posture being challenged almost like everywhere from the streets to the more business influenced environments, but they have managed to fend off most threats, and preserve their place in history as one of the stronger packs.

Alfons was destined to be a key player in the pack's work, but fate had different plans for him. On the cold streets of a fall night, a bloody fight had erupted in a casino that laid on the border between the south district and more neutral district. There, the Lycan was reported missing after numbers began to tip in the favor of a rival pack. Many Lycan who carried influence in the pack were quick to pounce on this opportunity, branding Alfons a deserter and coward so to preserve their places in the Bloodfang pack. That resulted in the decision to remove Alfons from the pack, severing his ties and connection to his powerful associates.

That had lead him to be an outcast, one of many who were to die before the year's end. Days had transitioned to months though, and the Bloodfang outcast was able to adapt and suppress his own boiling urge to loose all sanity. Over time though word of his status had swept through communities like a slow wild fire, and soon he would find that he was being hunted by a variety of characters. Some aim to exploit his strength and recruit him for their agendas, others aim to kill him with fear of him loosing grip of himself. There are also a select few who look to put an end to the Lycan, intent on killing him for the notoriety they could get from the other syndicates and gangs for killing someone with a past in the Bloodfang pack. He was more than aware of the dangers that surrounded him, and with no pack to protect him, he had to think smart.

It took weeks of hiding and talking to those willing to talk to him still, but before anyone could find him he was able to secure a home and job in a warehouse company, the owner being an oriental man by the name of Sanchez Diola. In exchange for a bed in the warehouse and pay, Alfons offers his strength and speed. There have been few to notice his new location, ((for there were very few registered employees yet a very high supply output)) but fortunately none have come to visit him with ill intentions. For the time being his fate is unwritten, and his alliance is tied to nobody but those close to him... All his purpose is now is to live and let live, unless someone convinces him otherwise.

ABILITIES
:UP TO 5 ONLY:
Lycan mastery- Whatever had occurred during that night at the casino, it has made Alfons carry a rather significant ability: the ability to maintain his sanity even without the strength of a pack to guide him. He has a clear concience, and can talk in all forms.

Poison Resistance- It takes heavier quantities of poisons and toxins to take the Lycan down, and low amounts are easily terminated from his bloodstream with good health and sleep. Silver can be suppressed, but it still maintains it's significant hindering effects at low quantities if applied correctly.

Weapons proficiency: Polearms, Swords, Handguns- Alfons is proficient in using these specific weapons. Some cases he can used them in his half Lycan form ((Except handguns.. You can't really fit a claw onto a trigger, can you?))

Heavenly Moonlight- The moonlight serves as Alfons' source of power. When exposed to moonlight and not sustaining injuries for a long period of time, the Lycan can slowly recover from his injuries ((He can not recover from Severe wounds.)) He can also apply this ability's healing effects by combining Contained Light with this ability, but it is a very tasking ability that can him fatigue and even unconsciousness depending on his condition and the condition of the subject he is applying this gift on. (He's a Lycan, not a wizard ))

Contained Light- At night, the Lycan is able to project an orb of concentrated moonlight anywhere, resulting in illumination.

So glad you asked - have also been meaning to add something about this very subject.

TIME AND ABSOLUTE GODLY POWERS = NO NO. We will not be hoping foreward or backwards in time and though I will allow for Seer's ( can predict things) You must keep in mind to predict even a single line of ones future is like wading through a sea of decisions they are yet to make everything from even scratching ones nose can pull a thread on the lines of fate. So even tho one can SEE a future realize the character you're seeing ultimate can change it even with the slightest degree of change in the path you foretold. NOW things like stopping time, rewinding it things liek that even slowing it down do not work that is GODS POWER and Gods along with Pure Blood Angels and Demons will not exist on the mortal plane of existence. So no screwing with time lol.

Any power after that could just about be had tho and even tho one character may have fire bending abilities doens't mean you can't have that ability either. This is where i get all happy go lucky and weee about people's creative freedoms within a story hell so long as you don't god mode and break the world feel free to play out any power. Anything i view as to much i will discuss with you in PMs privately but It will NEVER EVER be a START OVER message. It will be me helping to work with you to build a power that will fit into this world. ^.^

Also to note -- Magic and the Cost of it in this world / also includes powers of any type can be translated into physical action / energy of the action made.

- THE ACTION TO DO SO WOULD COST YOUR CHARACTER A PHYSICAL DRAIN EQUAL TO IF THEY HAD CARRIED THEMSELVES ACROSS THE ROOM X2 DUE TO MENTAL FOCUS FOR CONTROL.

- THE ACTION TO HURL A FIRE BALL ROUGHLY THE SIZE OF A BASEBALL WOULD COST 5X THE AMOUNT OF PHYSICAL ENERGY TO THROW THE SAME IN PHYSICAL FORM (A BASEBALL) WHY 5X? Because 1. Throw the ball / action of it 2. Concentration and extraction to pull the element from the natural environment. 3. To Direct and focus that Ball of Fire to not only Keep it's form but stay on the intended path. AND 5. I'm saying for anything over a 5 foot radius would cost of course more energy and then more energy and then more the further away from your character's physical position and raidus of influence. All characters will have a radius of influence and a limitation or max to which their powers can reach. Even creatures summoned will remain within a radius of their master.

So see NO STATS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS. Just when posting with powers thing How much physical energy would it take for me to do X. if I didn't have the magic to do it. That will tell you how much you can do with your characters. Also keep in mind performing MAGIC can be DANGEROUS if i see you weild a spell that is GODLY in nature it will kill your character. This is because once the spell / seal / cast / mage influence is made they can't withdraw the action. It's a done deal. ANNND i imagine horrible for mages cause it's like they would realize at the Action's end that they fucked up and feel their life literally pulled outta their body to try and perform the magic they wield.

1. Leader of the Arc Knights - I live for over privileged asshole characters.
2. One of the 4 spots for Top Warriors in the Nightwatchers // >> Planning to be a sort of active guardian for a higher up so if anyone wants a sort of bodyguard for actual protection or just a Djinin to mess with I'm game.
3. A ghost - Boo (this one really doesn't need a claim but you know)

Those are both fine of course i'm not sure if the Morph ability will be useful your free to use it. And in healing just remember energy costs I explained earlier and you should be good. No bringing back from the dead tho. That's considered a gods power and a no no. Also I'm thinking healing anything like massive internal hemorrhaging + organ damage like say BIG ASS HOLE in someones stomach would prolly knock your character out - not kill but take up a vast amount of energy to heal and would also take a good bit of time because you would be willing the healing process.

So yep and yep can use ^.^
 
Okay updated CS on pg 3, let me know if it looks okay! Not sure if the water empowerment will work with the energy system, but I put that using it would leave her completely exhausted afterwards.

PERSONALITY

Tallulah is a bit of an oddball. Most people would immediately describe her as "quirky". She carves her own path through life, regardless of what other people tell her to do. She's not argumentative, though – usually she'll listen calmly, nod politely, and then just go do whatever she wants. She does have a temper (as all dragons do!), but it tends to show itself as an excess of crazy behavior, rather than shouting or fighting. If she doesn't like what someone else is saying or doing she's been known to start singing loudly and dancing around in circles to make them stop. Generally it works – who's going to keep arguing with an insane person?

She's clever, but she's never been very studious, much preferring the creative arts. She's an excellent painter and a pretty good dancer (though she prefers wacky modern interpretive dance styles that no one ever really understands). She thinks she can sing, but she's really pretty bad. She (obviously) loves water and swimming, and could spend hours floating on her back in the pool just staring up at the clouds and daydreaming. She has a very vivid imagination, and seems to live most of the time in her head – friends and family are frequently exasperated by finding her lost in her thoughts and being unable to get her attention.

Because she's so odd and lives so much in her own daydreams, she doesn't have many friends. Once people really get to know her they love her and all her oddities, but it's hard for people to get past her quirky, dreamy barrier to learn her inner self. But once they do, they find that her affections are deep and long-lasting, and that she will go to great lengths to help a loved one.

Like many creative people, Tallulah is quite messy, preferring some sort of "natural" organization system that only she understands. She also affects a studied dishevelledness in her appearance, which adds to her quirky exterior. She has a very strange sense of humor that almost no one else understands, but that never bothers her, and she will just giggle to herself at all her odd jokes.

HISTORY

Tallulah was raised by a family of three mage sisters, in a small coven on the outskirts of Fransokyo. They were always very loving and kind to her, even a bit overly protective and doting. Seeing occasional hints of magical abilities, such as the way her hair seems to float and her skin looks wet sometimes when its dry, or the way water almost seems to respond to her movements before she even twitches, her "aunts" hoped that she was becoming a mage. They tried to train her, but she was never so far able to consciously control any magic, and very quickly grew bored of their lessons on spells and potions.

In school, Tallulah was always the oddball, with few friends and many laughing at her. This never seemed to bother her, however, as she always had her imagination to keep her company and her aunts and their close-knit coven to love her. She went on to art school, and now half-heartedly attempts to augment her aunts' income by teaching art classes to kids after school a few nights a week, but mostly she just spends her time painting and searching for inspiration.

ABILITIES

Water Manipulation: Can shape, grow, and manipulate existing water; can't create water out of nothing, but depending on how humid it is can sometimes draw enough water from the air to use.

Water Empowerment: Can draw extra strength or stamina from nearby water; can only draw one at a time, and power has a long cooldown. Enhancement only lasts a few minutes, usually leaves her completely exhausted after it ends.

Water Walking: Can walk/run on water; if knocked over will fall in.

Underwater Breathing: Can breathe underwater for a couple hours.

Liquid Communication: Can communicate with other Supernaturals through liquid; liquid/substance must be at least 50% water.

APPROVED! I Like that she is Artsy too cause so is Wyst lol. Am working on the vary last part of the intro now mwhaha. Hopes it's good tried to go back and reduce it a lil bit lol. We shall see very soon tho!

*pokes* I added a bit to current contracts on my bio. Gave each summon a bit more flesh and added contract parameters.
