Death's Bloom is is set in a world quite similar to ours save for one thing; every human being, without exception, was born with the Seed of Death deep inside them. For the vast majority of their lives, they live free of depression and illness and in exchange, they will know when Death takes its due - indeed, when their Seed bloom, they will gradually lose the will to live, their body falling to decay and as a result often changing the life of others negatively.
That little difference makes it all the more tragic when, after having their first date with Muse A a week ago, Muse B's Seed of Death starts blooming. Will the two find love and strength despite it all or will the sickness corrupt Muse A irredeemably?
