Ruskin frowned even more when he saw the look she was giving him. What was that look for? He then heard the light clatter of a guards armor clanging as he ran down the hall. He turned to question the young man but was cut off as the man explained why he was here. Ruskin gave a small frown before he sighed and nodded a bit "Tell Throd that I will see him at the arena as soon as I can along with the best soldiers we can offer at the time."

He turned to Lavvi and crossed his arms "I'm assuming your father is just wanting to test me and my best men or something like that. I assume you'll want to watch as well? I'm sure you would love nothing more then to watch me get my ass thrown around the arena by your father" He was speaking sarcastically of course since he knew that the woman didn't like him in the slightest. However he didn't know if she disliked him to the point that she would actually wish physical harm upon himself.

Lavvi simply placed both of her hands on her tempers and she rubbed them while closing her eyes trying to control herself. She was obviously annoyed and she didn't even answer him. She looked at the soldier with boredom evident, '' Please escort me to my room. I need to rest. '' she simply ordered knowing that they were use to being threaten like servants, or at least ordered. She wasn't irrespectful to the soldier, but to Ruskin... It really depended on him.

The soldier nodded and she simply left without saying a word to her future husband.

Ruskin stared after her as she walked away. Things were off to a bad start it didn't take a genius to figure that out. He shook his head and gave a small sigh before he turned and made his way down the hall and out of the castle. Meanwhile the guard took Lavvi to her bedroom and opened the door for her "If you need anything there is almost someone wandering the hall simply call for someone and they'll come to help you. If this is all you need I wish you good day." He fought the urge to call her princess or M'lady out of fear of getting slapped or something and turned and walked away.

Meanwhile Ruskin was making his way to the arena. Radnor would have already called the other three best soldiers in the kingdom to get ready for the fight between Throd and his soldiers. The Inazuma knew that they had little chance of winning the fight but they would give Throd one hell of a battle in the end and they would be sure to make the old Khajit would leave the arena with a new found respect for their warriors.

Lavvi nodded and actually gave a smile to the soldier as he closed the door behind her. She turned her head to look at the gorgeous bedroom on top of the three. She could see the whole city from it and she walked towards the small balcony carved in wood. She looked down and almost feared to fall and looked straight up instead. The city was gorgeous, there was no denying it, but the turmoil inside of her was getting the best of her. This feeling of being sold, lied to, and just betrayed by her father by Xadok, by everyone. She felt lost. She didn't know how to react anymore, she barely could recognize herself at this point.

Lavvi's lips trembled as quiet tears fell down her eyes and she pressed her head to the wooden pillar. She closed her eyes crying to herself when no one was around. She didn't know why her heart felt stabbed and yet so relieved to know that her mother didn't die in vain but rather saved this man that would be her husband.

Meanwhile, Throd just played with a dagger of his as he waited in the Arena with his best warriors. All of which were twice as big in height and weight. Their muscles showed and theirs claws sharper then razors. They wore leather armor for agility, but they had different blades with different poisons covering them.

The moment the Jotaig Kaist saw Ruskin, he grinned. '' And he finally arrives the prince!'' the black furred Khajjit said. His red eyes stared into Ruskin's intense blue and he grinned, '' Hope the Daughter didn't cause too much trouble for you ?'' he asked with a bit of sarcasm knowing how hard should could get on someones nerves. Xadok unfortunatly for him just looked at Ruskin with hate. The blue fured and white haired Khajjit simply tsked him, '' Bet he never had to handle a woman in his life except his mother, Putdrak! '' Xadok whispered as a joke to the other warriors pretty much insinuating that he was a motherfucker and a few laughed loud enough to cover what the warrior and boyfriend of Lavvi said. Of course, not all of them actually laughed knowing that eventually, this Khajjit would be their leader.

Ruskin arrived at the arena wearing a set of armor that had been forged specially for him. Instead of the light leather armor that the Jotaig's wore Ruskin's armor was solid and covered his entire body. However it was specially made and enchanted so that it did not slow Ruskin down or restrict his movements. The breast plate and every other main part of the armor had been specially detailed and colored into a deep sky blue the rest of of it however had been dyed gold to resemble the color of lightning. Radnor wasn't wearing the robes that he had been wearing earlier either. He had changed out of his robes to don his normal armor except without the cloak hanging around his back and with his hood pulled down. Ruskin looked up at Throd and gave a small shake of his head "Lavvi was no trouble at all. In fact even though I doubt she would admit it out loud I think she is very interested in seeing what other beauties our city holds."

While others might not have heard Xadok's comment about Ruskin his comment had not fallen on dead ears by the target of the insult. Instantly Ruskins temper flared and he shot daggers across towards Xadok. He had had enough of the arrogant and bitter Khajiit's attitude and he thought it was time he put him in his place. Ruskin turned his attention back to Throd and crossed his arms. "Throd..I think we can both agree that out of all of the warriors here..you, myself, Ruskin and that whiny Khajiit standing behind you are the best warriors here. So let's make this more interesting. Two on two. Me and Radnor. Against you and Xadok." He turned his attention over to Xadok "unless the coward is too afraid to fight me like a real man and prefers to just talk. But I don't mind. It appears his job in life is to merely spread ignorance to anyone who is stupid enough to listen to him"

"Lavvi was no trouble at all. In fact even though I doubt she would admit it out loud I think she is very interested in seeing what other beauties our city holds." Ruskin said which made Throd rather surprise and open his bloodthirsty red eyes. '' Oh really, that is quite surprising! '' he said hearing clearly what Xadok said and his smile faded slightly hoping Ruskin didn't hear it. Of course, he had heard.

Ruskin seemed rather enraged and Throd whistled seeing the few daggers fly towards Xadok and lodging in the dark wood of the pillar standing behin Xadok. The Jotaig stood up abrutly glaring at the Prince and his warriors. Their teeth sharp as they growled at him.

"Throd..I think we can both agree that out of all of the warriors here..you, myself, Ruskin and that whiny Khajiit standing behind you are the best warriors here. So let's make this more interesting. Two on two. Me and Radnor. Against you and Xadok." He turned his attention over to Xadok

'' How dare you call you- ''

'' Enough! '' Throd shouted with his very deep and menacing voice. The khajjit was known for being fearsom, but just this simple order gave chills up the Jotaig's warrior, and most likely for the Inazuma who were probably used for less aggressive and resonating voice.

Throd looked at everyone in silence and landed his eyes on Ruskin. It analyzed him and he smirked. Something about him somehow intrigued the Kaist and he simply let a small laugh.

'' It will be a breeze dear Rrrruskin. '' he said rolling his R as he through a dagger unexpectedly and just barely scratched the son of the kaist cheek, but the wound was so sharp that blood instantly dripped from it.

Obviously, that was a threat to him. If he ever dared throw another dagger at his warriors out of combat, his head would pay for it. FOR WHICH EVER REASON, Ruskin had no right to throw a blade at any Jotaig. And he made it clear to him.

'' Eye for eye, tooth for tooth. '' Throd said looking at Ruskin with unreadable eyes. Just as unreadable and mysterious as Lav'vi.

Afterall, Jotaig's were known for being unreadable and unexpected opponents.

Radnor was currently looking at Ruskin like he had lost his mind. What was he thinking? He was normally more level headed then this but then again..when anyone mentioned his mother Ruskin did get quite pissed. Radnor didn't know where this was going to go but he really didn't like it and neither did the Inazuma warriors behind them. Especially when Throd threw that dagger at Ruskin and sliced his cheek. Ruskin didn't even flinch when the blade was thrown and just stared down Throd. The Inazuma warriors were getting ready to draw their swords and attack them all at the attack on Ruskin but Ruskin held them back with a simple raise of his hand.

"Then we have a deal Throd. Me and Radnor against you and Xadok. Right here right now. Radnor you ready to fight?" Radnor simply nodded "At your command Ruskin my friend. You know I'll follow you into any battle as would your fellow warriors." Ruskin gave a simple nod and started making his way with Radnor a step behind him towards the center of the arena "Rules are simple. Any fighting style any weapons you want. Fight continues until both fighters on one side are beaten. A fighter is considered dead if they fall unconscious or yield. any questions?"

Throd grinned as Xadok laughed. Both stood above 7 feet looking at the little human. Jotaigs loves to have a good spare once in a while afterall. It was a hobby in their tribe.

'' Oh goodies! I started feeling quite sore doing nothing in this boring city, '' Xadok said with his friends backing him up in his annoying and show off attitude. Throd didn't seem that bothered since he laughed and stretched upwards. '' I will have to agree with Xadok. Nice city but missing on action!, '' he said as he waved his warriors to back up.

Throd immediatly fished out a short blade from his boots and made it spin in the air before grabbing it in his fighting stance. His right leg slightly bent as he leaned forward. He looked directly at Radnor knowing that Ruskin would most likely want to have a piece of Xadok. He had high expectation from the future husband of his daughter, but a lot more for Xadok.

Xadok in some way was his son. He knew this little blue furred Khajjit since he was born and since then took him under his wing. The son of his dead brother was like his son.

'' Time to rumble~ '' Throd shouted with joy as he sprinted towards Radnor with phenomenal speed. It was too fast for anyone to react, but if this guy was any good, he could maybe avoid getting tackled to the ground and lose instantly.

On the other hand, Xadok being the show off he is simply just threw all of his weapon belt to the ground. He only grabbed a weapon that was often mentioned in the legendary stories of the lost Khajjits journey after being overthrown by humans. It was known as the Saberclaws simply because that type of weapon was used by assassins, especially to cut threw some throats, just like the legendary kKhajjit assassins Saabers.

~ * ~
EXTRA:
Saabers is pretty much the boogyman of the Khajjits. He was the first traitor to the Kevalum and is described as bloodthirsty for power. He is the main antagonist to many stories told to young khajjits for them to sleep early.

The legends of Saabers mainly surrounds his treason to the Kevalum and how he ripped the life away by cutting the Kevalums throat. Saabers was also known as the one to create tensions between the two brother tribes.

As the two Jotaigs drew their weapons the two members of the Inazuma drew their own. Radnor held a long sword along with the bow and arrows on his back although it was clear he wouldn't be using them in this fight. After drawing his sword he took a basic fighting stance with his back leg slightly bent with his front leg pushed straight out in front of him. He held his sword to the side of his body with the hilt just by his shoulder as he eyed down Throd carefully. He knew that Ruskin would want to take Xadok on himself since he was the one he was having the most problems with.

Ruskin meanwhile had drawn a pair of twin swords that he held close to his body. His stance was a bit more varied with one sword held above his head while the other was held across his body horizontally as he kept his legs bent and ready to move at any second. When Throd charged at Radnor he had had less then a second to decide. Going with the safer option he quickly dove to the side and easily rolled back to his feet with his sword at the ready for another attack. Meanwhile Ruskin simply stood still as he eyed down Xadok waiting for him to make a move.

Throd couldn't help but smile as he saw Ruskin manage to barely escape his powerful tackle with just a bit of dust on his pants from being pushed a few meters behind. '' Impressive. '' he whispered with his deep naturally menacing voice. But of course, Throd wouldn't allow him to counter one more of his technics and he just jumped with so much power that even the ground trembled under his paws. His claws and teeth sharp like a shark tooth, he immediatly landed on Radnor and pinned each of his limbs on the ground making a lot of dust rise.

Xadok glanced to the side unable to see what was happening due to the sand that rose in the air. The human sure didn't have much chance under these circumstances. Throd didn't seem like he was giving him a lot of loose. The blue furred Khajjit then focused his blue icy eyes on Ruskin. Both shared an intense glare as they started walking circularly without advancing much. Xadok growled as he showed his shark and perly white teeth, but the inside of his mouth was bloody red, which is different then most Khajjits.

His eyes showed intense hatred for Ruskin. There was no particular reason except the fact that they were from different clans, but Xadok's hatred went down much deeper. Something inside of him made him despise them more then anything, but especially Ruskin. That Inazuma held his head to high according to him. He could smell his arrogance and it enraged him. That bastard thought he could come and take away everything that he once had promised. What did he think he was? A Prince? A king? Or a blessed son of the Gods? What good could that silver spoon be in battle compared to him who has proven his worth continuesly? That Khajjit would never survive in the wilderness! Not even for a day!

Xadok couldn't handle any longer this tension building up and all hell broke loose as his anger consumed him. He threw his weapons to the ground with a loud roar before spitting on the floor. '' Come at me you coward! Let me give you a taste of your own blood!'' he shouted angrily as he contracted every single muscle in his body and just broke in a sprint towards his enemi.

Meanwhile, Throd had all of his 500 lbs of muscles over this puny human. Many feared Khajjits only by their immensity. They were beast by human standards. Monsters that ate children if they wandered alone and only swore by revenge. A human nightmare.

But why wouldn't they think so? Khajjit's were everything they were not. They could make mountains tremble, survive harsh winters and march through Arrid desert with little to no water. They were from head to toe killing machines. Their jaws stronger then sabertooths, and their bite dug deep under the human's weak flesh.

A human was no match to Khajjits, or at least one on one they were not. Their was very few to no weak points for the Khajjits. They were ruthless and merciless in battle.

As Throd glowing red eyes and tail roughtly slapped the ground purposely to create dust as he proceeded to do his next move, he placed his dagger straight on Radnor's throat and his smile changed drastically.

'' No human dared to enter this city for centuries. What made you fearless of our kind?'' he asked very quietly but with the same amount of threatening weight. Obviously, the whole idea of battling him was for this exact moment. Throd would not let this opportunity escape for him to extract every single bit of information from this weak race.

This time Radnor had little to no hope of avoiding Throd's attack. Radnor would normally in this circumstance pulled his sword up and used Throd's own momentum to run him through but..this wasn't a fight to the death. It was only a sparring match. Wasn't it? Radnor couldn't see what was going on between Ruskin and Xadok but he could hear Xadok yelling at Ruskin and it was clear to him that the fight between the two of them wasn't just going to be a friendly match. Although when you thought about it in all honesty nothing about this match was friendly. It was all about seeing who was the better fighter out of the four of them. That's all it was. Even though there was meant to be peace between the two clans there would always be some remaining hostilities for hundreds of years of hatred and blood shed.

When Throd then asked Radnor his question he fell silent and looked up at the large Khajitt with a bit of confusion in his eyes. Was this the only reason the large Khajitt wanted to fight Radnor? So he could ask him this one question? Radnor closed his eyes for a moment before he opened them again and stared right back into the Kaist's eyes. "If a man says that he is without fear then he is nothing more then a coward and a fool. A man who knows fear and can embrace it is truly brave. Your kind are strong and dangerous there is no doubt about that. However..your kind aren't blood thirsty mindless beasts that humans believe that you are. I would be lying if I didn't say that I fear you for your skills and talents on and off the battlefield but when it comes down to it..It doesn't have to do with the fact that I don't fear your kind it has to do that I respect your kind more then I fear them."

Meanwhile Ruskin just continued to stare down Xadok. The arrogant Khajitt could be compared to nothing more then an angry child who was upset because their parent's took away his favorite toy or scolded him. Ruskin knew that because of Xadok's anger that he had won this battle before it had even begun. As Xadok charged him Ruskin waited until the very last moment to side step around Xadok's charge and with one sword he slapped the blue furred Khajitt on the rear with the flat of one blade but cut him across his back with the other. The cut wasn't deep by any means and would just barely draw blood but that was because Ruskin had held back. If he had put his full strength behind the strike he could have severely hurt the angry Khajitt. "For all your talk of bravery and strength you lack so much more. Your strong Xadok but that's all you have. Your arrogant and greedy. Like a child you whine and complain when things don't go your way and your arrogance only proves that you aren't capable of being a good leader. Because anger is a funny thing. You let it consume you and before you know it you lose sight of everything."

"If a man says that he is without fear then he is nothing more then a coward and a fool. A man who knows fear and can embrace it is truly brave. Your kind are strong and dangerous there is no doubt about that. However..your kind aren't blood thirsty mindless beasts that humans believe that you are. Throd took in a deep breath as the human spoke. It sounded like it had just came out of the books and he couldn't help but let go a bit deciding that it would be ridiculous to put all of his strenght on the kid.

'' Words of wisdom from such a young.. human?'' Throd ended up saying as his voice took a deeper and more resonating tone. Such as like a tiger or a cat when it purrs. (it was much rougher though).

The clouds of dusts were still high and Xadok yelped as he looked at the boy behind him. The sharp feeling of the blade, but he simply turned and tripped Ruskin with his long blue tail.

He would of been dead if it was war, or at least seriously injured, but he took advantage of this and knew very well from the look of his eyes that the Prince was under a certain mushroom.

'' Yeah, ok. Just shut up you fucking asshole, '' he said in a whisper for no one to hear as he kicked the swords but then paralyzed in pain. It took him a lot of strenght and control to not lose conscious from that. Of course, he would eventually if he lost more blood.
Unfortunately, his cockyness took the best of him and he simply reached for the armor of the Prince as his teeth took on a sharper look.

'' Think you can show up with that fancy armor, and human gold? What kind of sell out are you? And you are taking Lavvi too? What did you tell her to make her so eager to be by your side?'' he asked, but the blue furred khajjit was so not focused and absorbed by his own rage that he could easily get tumbled by Ruskin, or even a bug.

Radnor stared up at Throd as he waited for his response. He didn't know how his words would resonate with the Kaist of the Jotaig. He didn't know if the Khajit would laugh because of his words or look at him with new found respect. Hell a part of him almost expected Throd to just take his answer and then punch him square in the jaw to knock him out. But..neither of those things happened instead the Kaist..purred? If that's what you could consider it and loosened his grip on Radnor. Radnor seizing the oportunity pushed his knees up into Throds chest and pushed off as hard as he could. He didn't know if he was strong enough to actually throw the large Khajit off him what he did know was that by doing this he had been able to slip out of Throds grip and pull himself into a backwards roll only to land upon his feet with his sword once again in his hand at the ready.

Throd's question and curiosity still struck Radnor as slightly odd but he felt that at the same time he could understand it. There were very few humans that knew about the existence of the still living Khajit even fewer who knew about them actually didn't fear them. Hell it would surprise him if he was the only one that didn't. "Wise words come from all shapes and forms Throd..wisdom doesn't belong to only one race..one tribe..one person. Wisdom comes from experience..and experience only comes from those who choose to go out and see the world for what it truly is. That is what I chose to do instead of hide behind the walls of a city and pretend that what our ancestors did to your people wasn't wrong. Instead..I sought you out to learn more about you..to find out who the Khajit really were. And I found that they are honorable, proud, noble, strong, and loyal people. A people that I have come to respect much more then anyone else."

Ruskin gave a small gasp and winced as he suddenly hit the ground hard from Xadok's tail tripping him. Then his blades were kicked from his hands and he was pulled upright into the snarling face of Xadok who spoke nothing but insecurities and falsehoods. Xadok truly didn't know anything about Ruskin nor the Inazuma. He also clearly didn't know anything about the relationship between him and Lavvi either. However that's not where Ruskins focus was. It was instead on Xadok's poor balance and poor stance. Without wasting a moment Ruskin pushed his knees up into Xadok's stomach hard enough to knock the wind out of him before he pushed him off and rolled over to pin the arrogant fool beneath him. Another quick movement brought Xadok into a tight headlock into Ruskin's arms.

As Ruskin held Xadok's head tightly in his arms he glared down at the man and shook his head before he answered his questions "The only sell out here is you Xadok..You hold onto the past like it was the only thing that matters. What matters is that we take the lessons from the past and apply them to make a better future for ourselves. You think hating humans and every other race out there is going to bring our people back to it's former glory? No..our only hope is through peace. To try and become better then what we were before. Your strong Xadok..but that's all you are. You lack wisdom, patience, and most importantly you lack conviction and you lack a goal. Up till this point all that's driven you forward was your affection towards Lavvi..but now that she's out of your reach you've changed that affection into hatred towards me. I did not say anything to Lavvi. I did not steal her heart from you nor have I tried to. I spoke the truth to her..I spoke to her and told her all that I want is what's best for both of our people. I want to see us restored to our former glory. I want to see us become the strong people we once were not hiding and forgotten in legends." He fell silent for a moment to let his words sink in before he loosened his grip just enough so that Xadok could get some air without having to fall into darkness and pass out but it was clear that there was no escaping from this hold "Submit Xadok..you've lost"

"That. Is enough." Though the commanding voice was not loud, it reverberated through the arena as if somehow amplified by the minds of those present. A female Khajjit with the form of a bird stood not far from the two sets of fighters, holding a staff out in front of her. She was not very tall by Khajjit standards and it was impossible to tell how old she was, but her very presence emanated power. The air around her seemed to darken and twist, and one could not help but feel compelled to stop and listen, for she was the great sorceress of the Jotaig clan, Kirabin. The length of her existence had long surpassed the memories of those living, and much of what was spoken of her was shrouded in mystery. She tapped the butt of her staff against the ground in a sharp manner, though it didn't make much of a clack against the dirt. She let it go and it stayed precisely where it was, still sticking straight up and quivering slightly. A weird little owl carved into the end of the staff seemed to blink at them, just for a moment, that could have been an illusion.

She walked forward, the claws of her feet scratching the ground quietly, even as she brought that dark aura of power with her. She first went to where Throd and Radnor had been facing off. In her hoarse, hissing voice she teased Throd lightly, "Have you had enough of your fun, today, my old friend?" She did not wait for an answer, but drew closer to the human. "Lower your sword, young one. You need not prove yourself in front of me." She tilted her head to one side so she could properly give him a piercing stare with one glowing, beady eye. Although her expression did not change, she stared for a long moment, as if trying to read his whole life with just that one eye. "You speak of wisdom." She finally said, solemnly. "Many do who own none, but your heart-" and she reached up with one claw to tap him lightly in the chest, "-speaks for itself."

Again, Kirabin turned away without waiting for an answer, continuing her slow, stately pace towards Ruskin and Xadok. "The blood of young Khajjits in love ever runs hot." She said with a quiet chuckle. A claw once again lifted and pointed straight at Xadok. Simply crooking that one claw, she used her power to yank Xadok from Ruskin's grip, freeing the angry Khajjit without ceremony. She reached forward and grabbed Ruskin's chin gently with her claws, shoving her face into his and inspecting him closely with one eye. "Well, you've grown into a fine young man. Yes, fine enough perhaps, even for our Lavvi." She patted his cheek almost rudely before turning to Xadok. "And you. Though you have lost much, child, do not despair. The future remains free of the petty distractions even when it seems as though the prophecies themselves have turned against you, though only if you remain free of petty distractions."

Returning to her staff, she picked it up and looked back at them, capturing all four of them at once with one look. "Come. Let us return. Leave your disputes on this floor for now and let us return not as Inazuma and Jotaig, but as Khajjit's, one with each other."

At the sound of a loud voice Radnor froze in place and Ruskin tensed up. Ruskin had heard that voice before and he knew who it belonged to. That voice was one that he didn't enjoy hearing..in fact he wasn't sure any Khajjit out there enjoyed hearing that voice. Kirabin the Jotaig sorceress. Radnor looked across the arena at his friend in a mix of confusion and wonder. He had never met this strange woman before but from the way that Ruskin had tensed up when she appeared it didn't appear to him that the woman meant harm..however that didn't mean that she wasn't dangerous. Radnor actually had to fight a look of surprise from crossing his face when the sorceress spoke to Throd. He didn't think anyone could speak to Throd in that kind of manner and get away with it without losing an eye at the least..at the most they'd lose their life. When the sorceress turned to Radnor he tensed up and swallowed hard. He didn't like the way she was looking at him..that eye..it felt like she was staring right into his soul..and it made him quite uncomfortable that was for sure. Then she spoke. He was taken aback by her words mostly because they surprised him..but before he could even ask what she meant by what she said but before he could she was already off towards Ruskin and Xadok.

Ruskin stared at Kirabin with wide eyes and swallowed hard as he waited to see what would happen. When Xadok was suddenly ripped from his arms he froze in place and shivered as Kirabin started making her way towards him. He stood up straight and looked down at the old Khajjit and winced a bit when she suddenly grabbed his face. He stared back into her eyes as she inspected him and winced a bit when she patted his cheek. When she pulled away he rubbed his cheek and shot a glare at her and bit back a growl. He didn't like how she practically looked at him like he was a piece of meat. She didn't know anything about him. Only by reputation for the most part. He had met her once long ago when he was a boy..and that one time was enough to instill a memory in him that he would never forget. However once again there was no chance to respond before the old khajjit moved away to grab her staff and tell them to end the fighting for today. Ruskin looked over towards Radnor who gave a shrug in response before Ruskin looked at his men "Men..go return to your posts." With a salute the men turned and left to go back to their posts. Radnor meanwhile turned his gaze back towards Kirabin as he started to walk after her "..how long had you been watching Kirabin? When did you even get here?"

Throd and all of his warriors boomed their head up with wide eyes as they heard the loud noise of their sorceress. '' KIRABINE!'' they shouted the young boys scared shitless - which was a great contrast to earlier when they were laughing their guts out. The young Jotaig bowed down to their sorceress, one knee in 90 degrees but their head remained low by respect. Even Throd stood up from Radnor in a hurry to bow down to her and when Radnor didn't, he made him bow down by pulling him to the ground as he muttered, '' Bow down to the sorceress. '' he said with his aggressive voice even if he only meant good by his action.

Xadok was the only that stared at her. His eyes filled with hatred towards everyone, and when she finished talking, he stormed out without any notice. His loud steps resonating. He was arrogant, fueled with jealousy. The young Khajjit had no interest in them. He couldn't stand any of them and Kirabine... Oh how did that old bitch betray him. Pump him up with prophecies and expectation just to crash him like a little fly. All that because of that Prince.

I will show you all. I'm not worth the crown? I'll get it one way or another, and you will all bow down to me. You will all be under my command AND THEN I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT IT IS TO BE A LEADER

((OOC: ookay, since neither of you are posting, here goes!))

Kirabin's tilted her head ever so slightly backwards, her beady yellow eye training on Ruskin as she walked. It was rude not to make eye contact when one spoke, after all. Cryptically, she rasped, "I have been here before your grandfather's father was a child, little prince, in a time many have no memory of." She was, of course, talking about being on the earth, and not actually answering Ruskin's question, but Kirabin was not one who answered questions in a straightforward manner, even the questions she read in people's hearts.

Those same, freakish yellow eyes whipped to glance over to the other side as Xadok stamped past her. He really never understood anything, and no doubt someday that would cause everyone trouble. But what worried her most was what he would do to himself with it. It would be good if he took her advice, and kept his mind free of that anger and hatred threatening to overwhelm him. "Ah, you young blood." She said again, shaking her head and reaching back to pat Ruskin on the head like a wayward child. These young ones thought many things, bustling about with their short lives, puffing their chests out as if they knew all the ways of the world, when even she could not claim such depth of wisdom. That human, who displayed more wisdom than many humans of his time. This little princeling, who had yet to understand how little he understood. The young khajjit whose blood boiled with aimless rage, tainting him from the inside out. And of course, their lovely Lavvi, daughter of a truly good friend of Kirabin's, and more her mother's daughter than she yet realized.

She shook her great head one more time, and continued walking straight to the castle, needing no direction to guide her there. She was a sorcerer. She didn't need people to tell her things.

Radnor gave a small gasp as Throd suddenly grabbed him and pushed his head down to bow to the woman. He didn't like being pulled around like that and knew that Ruskin wouldn't do something like this..hell he didn't even know who this..Kirabine woman was. But she was clearly a big deal to the Jotaig if they were bowing to her like this. Even Throd was bowing..that only showed that she was really worth respect. When Throd released him he quickly stood up and hurried over to walk behind his friend just like the other Inazuma soldiers had done. Radnor was still confused with all of this..but confusion only lead to greater knowledge didn't it?

Ruskin gave an annoyed sigh over Kirabine's prophetic like answer. He hated getting answers like that from people however he also knew that when people gave those answers they tended to continue to do that even when pushed to explain themselves. So Ruskin wasn't even going to try and figure out what the hell it was she was talking about. However..one thing didn't miss his eye. Out of the corner of his eye he watched as Xadok stormed off and narrowed his eyes. He didn't like the looks of that. However he didn't have time to worry about Xadok at the moment. He needed to escort everyone to the palace and get things prepared for the feast tonight..then the wedding would follow shortly after that. "We should all head towards the palace..the final preparations for the feast to welcome the Jotaig here will be completed soon and we'll be able to dine to our hearts content."

The purple night veiled the sky dusted with flickering stars. The smell of roasted wild boars lingered and mixed itself with the smell of a burning bond fire. The city was illuminated, music filled the air with joyful folk songs perpetuated through generations and generations. It was a beautiful scenery for those young hearts filled with love and acceptance. After all, it was a new beginning for them. A decisive step forward, an unbreakable bond between two sworn blood-born enemies. A relationship damaged, but with a chance to heal. Some would consider it just a temporary alliance and just assume that one would betray the other and it was just a matter of time until it all broke off. But destiny had something much more exciting for them.

After all, despite not knowing it yet, two soulmates were to bond together and change the world. The map of Eiriond would change forever and history would be made. It was just a matter of time until they opened their heart to each other, get to learn from one another, and accomplish great things together.

Kirabine obviously knew all of that. She was after all the mentor of Lav'vi's mother, Jelena. She was the one to teach her about this life and the afterlife. She showed her the truth of this world and guided her through it. Lav'vi knew of their relationship and she wondered day and night why she had to live as an orphan. And today, the news to know that her life was sacrificed for a baby. A worthless baby of the enemy camp. She had to grow up, live alone, motherless because of her sacrifice. It shattered all of her beliefs.

She was confused and overwhelmed by various feelings. What was so special about that baby that she would decide to leave her child in a ruthless world orphan?

Lav'vi walked down the castle. The aisle had carvings dating back to their fathers, those who saved their two tribes. Stories to never be forgotten.

She pressed her hand against the hard wood and closed her eyes all the while walking down the stairs of her room. Unlike many, she felt the energy below her. It eased her up as she heard the voices of ancient ones. Sometimes, she would even believe she head her mother speak to her.

In every step she took, energy channeled through her and something told her that today was just another day and she had to take a grain of salt at the time. Maybe even enjoy herself this night. The inazuma went to such extent to throw a party for the newly alliance. The whole Jotaig clan has finally arrived after days of travel. Entire families joined to celebrate the Kaist daughter's marriage that was officially announced. It was a very big deal to them because it was one of their many prides. They loved Lav'vi and was greatly valued in their tribe. And she knew the importance of this. All of her afternoon revolved around this decision and finding herself in this. She needed a time to reflect upon her own decisions and the future.

After long thinking, she knew she had no choice in the matter. It was the right thing to do, but she wanted answers. Her marriage would be a week from now. Enough time for the Inazuma and Jotaig to join together and make one of the greatest celebration. It was a historical moment afterall, and the festive Jotaig will not miss a moment in celebrating - even if quite a few warrior despiced their practice.

Nonethless, they didn't have much to found their hatred rather then pitiful excuses like culinary preferences and views on life. Most of their attacks on each clan were independant thinkers doing pranks on each other. It was pure and childish behaviors. And the kaists finally put a stop to it.

Somehow, Lav'vi felt grateful for that. She did enjoy peace, she just would of hoped she wouldn't be the sacrifce to be made. But hey, she was used to sacrificing things up to now. It was just another suffering of life.

As she finally approached the grand entrance of the palace, she opened her eyes and saw the man she would have to marry. A man whom she barely knew and was annoying her beyond belief. A man that she right of the bat wanted to punch right in his muzzle. His being repulsed her and she just hated him for no reason. The way he walked, the way he stood, and even the way he fought in that Arena got to her and she did not know why. Something about him made her nerves tingle and she just knew that... he was totally her taste in males. No point in hiding it, he looked dashing. And that was what pissed her off the most.

And he looked dashing yet again, and her eyebrows twitched in annoyance as she walked towards him knowing he would be that gentleman like guy that he was and he would once again hit a nerve by saying something educated.

Lav'vi somehow ended up walking slightly faster with her long purple dress. It was flowy and light, with big sleeves just like the Inazuma's usually wore. It was beautiful, she had to admit it. It was flowy and soft, unlike the Jotaig leather she was so use to wearing. It showed much less skin then what she usually wore, and she only assumed it was because they were more conservative in some way. Nonetheless, she hated the fact that she loved it. Unfortunately for her, she also wasn't used to how flowy it is and uncontrolable it got when the breeze hit.

With her stubborness, she forgot all about the dress and simply focussed on snobbing him, to her misfortunate. Because, as she walked, the flowy texture took a breeze and part of her dress revealed much more then it should. She didn't even notice it as she walked past him with a small side glare and the texture wrapped around one of her leg.... and she suddenly felt like she was falling, because she was.

A loud tud could be heard in the main entrance where stood a few guards and her future husband. Her father was on the side holding on their laugh with a few other escorts such as her guards, which usually included the absent Xadok.

Lav'vi whose face was literally on the floor was completely embarassed to say the least, and it showed as her fur suddenly rose a bit and her skin under it turned reddish. Something told the jotaig's that they were on a bad start for the celebration.

Ruskin stood in silence outside the main hall entrance as he waited for Lav'vi his fiance to make her appearance. He was sore from the fight in the arena and his cheek still stung slightly from where Throd had cut his cheek because he threw a knife at Xadok. Even though the bastard had deserved it. Just thinking about Xadok made Ruskin's blood boil and caused the hair around his neck to stand up on edge. But he forced himself to calm down and let out a slow breath in an attempt to do so. Tonight was not a night to fight. Tonight was a night to feast and to celebrate the joining of their two clans.

Long had Ruskin's father dreamed of this day. Long had he and his father tried to find a way to bring peace to their two tribes but..at what cost? His father lay dying in his room alone and unable to join the feast. Hell he probably wouldn't even make it to the wedding in a week. That thought alone made his stomach tie up in knots. His father was the only blood family that Ruskin truly had. His mother had died in labor so..he never even knew his mother. Ruskin let out a slow breath at the thought of his mother and sent a silent prayer to her. As he finished the prayer he immediately felt inner peace wash through him and he gave a small smile. The Inazuma believed that when one died their spirit came to become a part of the forest. Every tree and every plant was actually a loved one that was opening it's arms and sprouting itself to be with their family forever. When a member of the royal family died they came to become a part of the palace that they lived in now. So while he may have never been with his mother in body he knew that while he lived in the palace..her spirit had always been there to be with him and guide him.

Feeling much more at ease with himself he smiled and opened his eyes and looked down at himself. His attire was newly made and was fashioned out of some more human culture that Radnor had graciously shared with the Inazuma clan. It was new attire for him and his people but he already found outfit very nice. He didn't like how constricting it made him feel..but the design and material it was made out of made up for it. Along with the top he wore a pair of fancy leather boots and black pants. Of course there was a hole cut out in the pants for his tail so he could be more comfortable but that was more of a luxury then a necessity at times. He was torn from his thoughts as he saw movement out of the corner of his eye and turned to see an approaching Lav'vi.

It only took a moment for his breath to catch as he caught the khajit beauty. He had been told that she had been given a dress to wear to the feast but this had been the last thing he had expected. The dress really brought out the beauty that she had within her. Not that she wasn't beautiful to begin with but..that dress only punctuated her beauty that much more. Much better then the leather that she normally wore as was the culture of the Jotaig. However before he could even comment on how she looked or even say hello to her she pushed past him and into the hall. Only to fall down flat on her face.

Ruskin had to bite back a small laugh at her misfortune but couldn't help but smile as he walked over and gently put his hand under her arm to gently help her back to her feet. "Are you alright Lav'vi? I hope you aren't injured" He had a feeling that while her physical body might not have been hurt her pride definitely was. As he helped her to her feet the musicians in the room would immediately start playing music (in the video) to welcome the engaged couple to the feast and bond fire. Roast pork and beef sat simmering upon smaller fires while a large bond fire sat in the center of the room. Plates of breads, cakes, and all kinds of other sweets sat on the tables along with plenty of freshly picked fruits and fresh picked vegetables. Radnor sat at the same table as Throd did but on the opposite side. Two empty chairs sat between Throd and Radnor signaling where Ruskin and Lav'vi would be sitting.
