I really like modern roleplays, especially hings involving romance and family. I also love fantasy, especially anything involving magic, mythical creatures, or gods and goddesses. Fandoms are nice, if I can play an OC. Since history is one of my passions, I like doing historical roleplays, mostly renaissance, 1800's, early 1900's, ancient civilizations, and anything wild west-like or based on pioneers. I do like Sci-Fi, mostly dystopian with some sort of rebellion or strict customs, something like that. I also like roleplays that take place in space if they have a good explanation of the universe that it takes place in. I'm not a big fan of horror or mystery, unless the horror is a sub-element to something else.

"Ad melior et maiora mundi."
"Towards a better and greater world."

Welcome to Walderdon Global Academy. On Earth, every country has a royal family. Whether they be politically involved or just figureheads, the royal families of the world carry an influence and power that few others know.

Established in 1874, Walderdon Global Academy has housed and educated hundreds of royals and other members of the upper crust society. Free from political bias in the mountains of Switzerland, the Academy has helped to mold the minds of the people involved with the royal families of the world.

Walderdon educates students from the ages of fourteen and upwards, acting as both a secondary school and a university where the royals of the world can learn and grow in peace, away from the prying eyes of society. Most royal families choose to send their children to this accomplished school, but many other prestigious families of other import also choose to take advantage of Walderdon's top-tier facilities and education.

Walderdon offers over a dozen sports, several clubs and student unions, and a large variety of majors for those pursuing degrees.

It should be noted that in this timeline of Earth, there has not been a war since World War I. There are some changes to countries and such for the sake of simplicity, but this is a war-free world for the most part. This RP is more for the drama aspect of rich, royal people doing rich people things.

Some Changes Include
:: Combining North and South countries (example: North Korea and South Korea are both just Korea) ::
:: The United Kingdom is just England ::
:: Hawai'i and Puerto Rico are their own countries ::
:: And of course, every country has a royal family. However you want the royal family to be involved with a country is up to the creator of that royal family. They can be politically powerful or just simply be figureheads. ::
|| No godmodding, etc... Every character should have their weaknesses as well as their strengths. ||

|| If you have an issue with drug and alcohol usage, social issues, different orientations, or anything of that sort, feel free to leave now. On that note, steamy stuff has to fade to black and go to PM. I don't want none of that. I don't care if it's mentioned, just don't go beyond that. Please respect other people's boundaries as well. ||

|| Again, the power that a ruling family carries is entirely up to the creator of that royal family. For example, I made both a ruling family for the United States and a First Family that is nominated into office. The United States royals are entirely figureheads. ||

|| Creators of families can leave open spaces for siblings to fill. ||

|| Continuing from the aforementioned rule: Please avoid any kind of political discussions. This includes making a royal family politically tyrannical, unjust, or a dictatorship. This is supposed to be a fun RP, not an RP about war or politics or anything like that. Also try to steer away from mentions of civil wars, protests, assassinations, and the like. ||

|| Every character has an important role, so don't worry about your character not being important. ||

|| Romance is encouraged, but it should not be the focal point for all relationships. As this is about royals and wealthy members of society, arranged marriages and the like are also encouraged. ||

|| Originality is very much appreciated. Tell me your character's favorite color in your CS. ||

|| Do not physically maim another person's character without their permission. ||

]|| You cannot be your own love interest, spouse, or anything of that sort. That kind of ruins the point of roleplaying. ||

|| You can have as many characters as you want. Just make sure you can keep up with them. ||

|| Please note that I reserve the right to reject any character I feel is not up to standard. This includes white-washing families that are likely to have POC as their ruling family (for example, Uganda is likely to have people of African descent on their throne). ||

feel free to break these
|| Walderdon is an year-long Academy. There are four breaks throughout the school year, each break lasting three weeks. This is to ensure easier travel for our international students. Students may return home for the breaks and for the weekends. ||

|| For Academy students, any other absences must be cleared with either the parents of the students, the school nurse, or the school counselor. ||

|| For University students, absences do not need to be excused. However, students must attend at least 85% of their classes in order to receive credits. After that point, the student will either be unenrolled or asked to provide adequate excuses. ||

|| Here at Walderdon, we understand that our students have busy, influential lives outside of the Academy, and we provide every opportunity to make up missed classes and tests. If needed, classes may also be provided online for extended absences. ||
|| For both Academy and University students, Dormitory Curfew is strictly at 22.00 hours Sunday through Thursday unless discussed beforehand with the House Leaders. At this point, all students are required to be in their dorm building with their ID cards swiped. Lights out is at midnight. However, this simply means that students must stay in the rooms for the remainder of the night. The curfew is lifted at promptly 4.30 every morning. On Friday and Saturday, Dormitory Curfew is at midnight and there is no lights out. ||

|| Students caught breaking the curfew will be given a week of detention and will be escorted by a faculty member to and from the school building to their dormitories. ||
|| Students must maintain a C+ average in all of their classes. If a student falls below this expectation, they will be placed in mandatory tutoring and all other extracurriculars will be suspended until the grade is brought up. Students who fail to increase their average within one semester will be unenrolled from Walderdon. ||
|| At Walderdon, we encourage a strong relationship with nature. As a result, students may have up to two pets as long as they adhere to the following criteria. ||

|| Pets must be well-behaved and properly housed. ||

|| Small animals such as reptiles, rodents, birds, and insects must be kept in their enclosures when the door to the dormitory room is open. Unless cleared with the House Leader, these animals must remain in their owner's dorm room. ||

|| Larger pets such as cats and dogs are allowed out of the dorms if secured with a harness and leash. All pets must be properly leashed outside of the dorms. This does not apply to service animals when they are working. ||

|| Horses do not fall under the two pet limit. There is a stable where they can be housed. Students are responsible for the care, feeding, cleanliness, and exercise of their horses. There is a Stablemaster, but they are not responsible for these duties. Failure to comply with these responsibilities will result in the student's horse being sent back to the student's home, at the student's expense. If horses are housed over the breaks, they will be taken care of by the school. ||
Because Walderdon encourages diversity amongst all of its students, the school has no official uniform for on-campus events. For off-campus trips, the school does provide a simple uniform dress code. Students are also required to wear the school uniform on the first Friday of every month. During the rest of the weekdays and on the weekends, students are allowed to dress in casual day-to-day wear. However, the clothing must follow the guidelines laid out in the student manual:

|| Students are not limited by what they may wear in the way of gender expression and identity. Walderdon is a safe space to explore these aspects of personality without fear of judgment or repercussion from the outside world. ||

|| Students must wear clothing including both a shirt with pants or a skirt or an equivalent (for example dresses or leggings). Outside of sports and physical education activities, shorts are prohibited during the weekday. ||

|| Clothing must cover undergarments, including waistbands and straps. ||

|| Skirts which are shorter than mid-thigh length must be worn with opaque leggings underneath. ||

|| Clothing must be suitable for scheduled class activities. ||

|| Shirts and sweaters must be devoid of graphics, words, or similar pictures. This does not include Walderdon logos. ||

|| Pajamas are forbidden from class activities. However, exceptions may be made for club activities. ||

|| When visiting the nearby city of Geneva, students are expected to dress respectfully and professionally in a way that reflects their status as Walderdon students. ||
|| Students are required to join at least one out-of-class extracurricular. ||

|| Students that fail to maintain a C+ grade average will be moved into mandatory tutoring, which will replace any other extracurriculars until the grade is improved. ||
|| Walderdon has a strict policy against bullying and harassment of any kind. This includes cyberbullying, sexual harassment, violence, blackmail, etc, etc. Cases will open up immediately once a claim has been put forth. Walderdon does not care if you are royalty. Within the walls of the school, you are just another student. ||

|| If a student feels uncomfortable making a formal claim in person, they may call the school's bullying hotline to put in an anonymous claim. ||
|| In keeping up with the times, Walderdon acknowledges that social media has become an important aspect of life for most members of upper society. However, Walderdon is meant to be a place free of outside influence. As a result, the following rules apply to social media within the walls of the Academy. ||

|| Every individual party involved with a post, picture, or video must consent to the use of their image within the post. If a student claims that they did not give permission, the post must immediately be taken down regardless of whether said claim is true or not. By attending the Academy, you are agreeing to this condition. ||

|| Walderdon provides its own social media, free from outside speculation. It is downloadable on all available app stores and is called Walderwall. This is a safe place for students to post anything they want without fear of repercussion. ||

|| Students found cyberbullying will be met with the same consequences of any other variance of bullying. ||

|| It is recommended that students use the Walderdon internet server when on-campus. The server is extremely secure. ||
|| Failure to comply with any school rules will result in immediate disciplinary actions such as detention or a grounding, extra assignments, on-site suspension, or, in extreme cases, expulsion. ||
