Zed shrugged. "It was big, a manor of sorts. We aquired at the death of the previous owner." He smiled, nothing compared to this though. He checked his watch, because he didn't carry his phone with him ever, and started tilting his head left and right as the seconds went by. "It was nice though, pretty secluded, and very modern. We had a nice gymnasium, and a greenhouse." He nodded, "A small casino on the ground floor, and some caverns underneath. How was your home?"

Izu, perplexed by the strangers sudden interest in the textbooks that he was cradling between his arms, turned around and continued reading, this time propped against the window. The title of the book read "The Diversity of Ethnic Cultures." Izu often cleared a time slot near the end of each day to read about one or two different subjects, each varying monthly. This months topic was on evolution and race, and last month he had preformed extensive research into war tactics, having burned out all of his previous ideas.

Katrina continued to draw Damian, she was absorbed in her work but she could still hear the conversations going on around her. She bit her bottom lip then glanced up at him once more and smiled to herself as she continued. Her hand fluttering over the page as she sketched him out happy with how it was starting to turn out.

"So tell me Kat. What kind of things do you like to draw?" He asks her. Damian was a rather calm person but at the same time he was a flirt. "I'm sure what ever you draw can't be as adorable as you " he teased.

She glanced up at him with a small smile, "I can draw anything really; I just really love sketching people and animals." She finished and flipped it over to show him what she had drawn of him.
charcoal sketch.jpg"What do you think?" She asked tilting her head to the right her white hair shifting that way as a very light blush crossed her features.

Damian looked at the photo. "That's...amazing." Damian says taken aback by her work of art. " its very nice." He says and thinks for a moment. The blue flame appeared once more this time it covered her book. Once the flame vanished a jewel necklace replaced it. "A reward." He says with a smile.

She blushed and still smiling at him, "Thank you Damian, you may call me Kat if you wish." She picked up the jeweled necklace and put it around her neck clasping it in place. "This is very beautiful, I really appreciate this gift." She stood up and crossed over to him and kissed his cheek before wondering back to her bed and sitting back down on it pulling her legs under her. She began a new sketch her eyes never leaving the page except for glancing at Damian every once in a great while.

Damian looked at her. "Your welcome. Anyways you said you were a vampire? Did you not?" He asks her "I was just wondering what kind of vampire you are? Also if you don't mind me asking why come out all the way to Italy to go to school?" He was suddenly filled with question s when once again his blood began to boil and his head started to ache.

She looked up at him with a small smile, "I did indeed say I am a vampire. I am Russian from the Caucasus Mountains, and distant a very distantly related to you. I am what you call a Viscountess." Her think accent coming out even more so now because she was a little nervous but relaxing because he was a vampire like her. "My parents thought a school founded by the royal family would be a wonderful place for me to attend school." Her voice quieted when she spoke of her parents.

Damian looked at her rather intreged. "Oh well then. What grade are you and have you been here before this year?" He asks before looking down. "Sorry that I'm throwing questions at you like this." He says softly.

"This is my 7th year, and yes I started as a 2nd year. I was also here a very long time ago a part of the royal court." She blushed going back to her drawing biting her lip concentrated on the image that was unfolding underneath her talented hand.

"Well wasn't it said the royal family hasn't been around for over a thousand something years. I mean I'm the only one left and that's only from what I'm told and the fact I woke up in this castle." He says. Damian tried to ignore the pain but couldn't take it and once more feel to his knees in pain. He blood felt on fire and his head was pounding as scenes of memory flashed before him. It only showed clips and IG was almost like a broken file showing the same one over and over.

"My family's line of vampires are repeat souls what you call reincarnation. The soul I was before was here, I apologize for confusing you. My name then was Vasilisa then. I looked more or less the same at the time my hair was longer." She smiled tilting her head as she looked at him once more and turned her sketch book around again revealing another beautiful done picture.
Vasilisa.jpg"This was me when I was part of the royal court." she smiled sadly this time.

Damian looks at her and nods. "Oh I see." He laughs "Now the real question is what's you so sad when talking about your past life in the royal court?" He looks down at her. He continued to feel his blood boil and it didn't take much longer before he collapsed on the floor with an expression full of pain and agony.

"It was a manor too," Cenric answered. "But not nearly that big. It was considerably smaller. My room and my siblings wing was pretty modern, but my parents have never been into technology at all." He laughed slightly and shrugged in an almost bitter way. "Probably why they decided to send me here." He shook off the melancholia that threatened to appear at the thought.

"But, you had caverns below your home? That had to be fun," Cenric said a little wistfully.

Zed nodded. "Yeah, they were great to explore." He checked his watch again and sighed, it was getting late and he didn't want to get caught out of his room. Not this soon. He flashed a smile to Cenric and said, "I gotta got get going, don't wanna be on the headmistress's bad side." He pushes off the wall and back flips a couple of times before twisting into a somersault around the corner and out of view.

When he gets to his room he opens the door and walks in taking off his extra clothing and emptying his pockets into a drawer. He got on the floor and started doing push-ups.

Cenric pulled out his phone and nodded in agreement. "See ya in class," he called out to Zed as he cartwheeled away. The tech nerd began to hum as he made his way back to his room. He wondered if he had a roommate yet. But mostly he was excited to start a schematic for a new cartwheeling robot. It would be difficult to create, but he bet that he could get it right if he could find some books on human anatomy here.

He opened the door to his room and unpacked all the sketch books he brought. He hummed a mindless tune as he worked.

Katrina jumped up throwing her book and ran across room catching him before he could hit the ground completely. "Damian!" She cried out cradling his head in her lap helping him lay down. She brushed his hair from his face, "Has this been happening since you have awoken?"

"Y-yeah." He struggled to say. The body felt on fire and his find was racing with things he only hoped to remember. He had no clue what was happening but it was obvious that the ancint vampire within him was awakening. Damian was not only part of the royal family but its heir.

She sat there with him as the fire seemed to rage through his body. She kept brushing his hair back humming softly. "Its going to be ok Damian." She whispered her face a light red. He was a vampire and the heir it was her duty to try to care for him as best she can.
