Virtual Rift: Anchorage

After she entered in her log-in information, Ellen was greeted with a welcome message. She sighed in relief, worried she would put in the wrong information again.

Her body materialized in the virtual space, starting with her feet and ending with the bow atop her head. She felt almost like some sort of magical girl, but that was a bit ridiculous. Magical girls were a fairy tale.

Once she had finished taking shape, she opened her eyes and took in that refreshing scent of the inn she had been familiar with for a few weeks. It may not have been much, but it felt like home. More so than Foundersville, which was too large for comfort, at least for her. At least in Strongen, she felt like she belonged. It must have been the snug, cozy feeling of community and organization.

Ellen stepped out of the inn, feeling the refreshing breeze embrace her body. The wind gave her a sense of protection and safety, as if it would help her alongside her quest. Again, another ridiculous notion. But yet, it made her feel happy.

Stepping out into the field and out of the city, she drew her sword from her back and prepared for a creature to pounce.

Celir was bouncing her focus between the two of them. After Mizz had finished his introduction she had murmured a simply nice to meet you in response, a small smirk tugging at her lips as he announced that he was a beast tamer "extraordinaire." But who was she to poke fun? Perhaps he was, his current companion certainly looked well enough, and she was a beautiful spiceman if she did say so herself. She turned to the girl.

"I hadn't planned on it, but I wouldn't be opposed to it." She answered neutrally, already assuming that the three would be forming a party from Mizz's expectations alone. He had heard and it'd be rude to tell him he couldn't, now wouldn't it? "My name is Celir." She introduced, giving a half bow. "Im a damage causer, but not much of a damage taker." She explained briefly, leaving the baste taming part out at the moment. Which was true, she hadn't put much points into her toughness level, going instead for agility and speed to avoid getting hit while simultaneously aiding her damage delivery. But some people assumed because of her avatars height that she was some sort of tank. That was not the case...unless she happened to be feeling suicidal, which wasn't often. Dying hurt like bitch. "Are we going to grind low level mobs or find some of this stages mini bosses?" She asked. She's probably let Pyry rest for awhile but she could always level her phoenix or her kitsune.

Elizia merely waved as Trent left the bar, not even bothering to look in his direction. Flirting in a digital world, some things just don't seem to change from the real world. Maybe she shouldn't be too critical, though. Some people come here and lead very different lives compared to the real world. This kind of world provides such an opportunity. For her, the sheer thrill of fighting monsters, conquering dangerous quests, and becoming a great warrior is what always brings her back to this world. That guy Trent was probably just looking for someone. Though she didn't see why he wouldn't want someone from the real world, since a real life connection is so much more than an online one. Oh well, good luck to him since he was able to make an avatar that was easy on the eyes.

Elizia left the bar a few minutes later, thanking the bartender on her way out. Since she couldn't hit any quests on the fifth floor, it's best then to get to work unlocking that floor. She'll do a quest that takes place on the first floor. Pretty simple; battle a few grave robbers, defeat their boss, collect stolen items from them and head back to the receiving NPC gain more XP to beat the Boss on this floor and move up.

She went over to where the quest took place, already seeing a lot of grave robber monsters loaming about. There were also some wolves there too. She'll have to be careful of the wolves, since they can attack a player passing by, regardless if you attacked them or not. Generally, those who have not reached level 4 would never find this on the map. The system tries as much as possible to block it out of fairness to the player since monsters here were a little more dangerous. The only way a person below level 4 could reach this place was if they party with someone of that level or higher. Elizia could access it, but she was still vulnerable to dying at the hands of these monsters. Good thing this is not the real world then.

Elizia unsheathed her sword and charged for the closest grave robber.
