  1. So old photos are often creepy to begin with, yeah?

Turns out old Halloween photos are even worse. Go figure.

To start us off, tiny clowns.

They're just like those old harlequin dolls. Except child-sized and alive.

    Next, creepy masks.

  2. O.O woah... The 1600's- 1800's were more horrifying than I originally thought...

  3. @Ser K+

It's more like 1900's-1950's for the most part. But yeah. Shit's creeptastic.

  5. Oh really? Thought colored photography was on the rise during the 50's >_<
I guess older generations were more tolerant to creepy as hell costumes.

  6. This one right here. This one will haunt my dreams.

Also, now I want to make a horror RP about a cannibalistic family in the 1920s. e____e Thanks Osso.

  7. I was gonna say...I think 1880s-1950s, at least.

Also, please tell me the teacher of that class was dressed like a giant egg.

The first full-color photos were late late 40's, early 50's but that was just in lab testing. It took a while for them to fine-tune and get it ready for commercial use and even them people weren't rushing out to buy color cameras if they didn't have the extra cash. Really you're looking at 60's-70's for color photos becoming common. And even today people still take black-and-white or sepia photos on purpose.

  9. @Dawn

    You're welcome. >:]

  10. Ah thanks, got my years mixed up then -~-. That means cameras kept that black and white/sepia tone for even time then? gee.
    Appreciate the enlightenment!

  11. @Ser K+

Yeah, I don't think people realize how recent color photos really are. That might be partly because they used to colorize them by tinting the developed photos with dye and etc., so there are older "color photos".
