Blood Strength: 100%

Cristoph's first inclination upon waking was to spit the foul taste out of his mouth before he realised he could smell it too. The air here felt contaminated and his head was pounding form his blood's earlier actions. And if the voice had been lending him its power why was he feeling so sluggish? He pushed himself to his feet and looked around, every movement feeling off as if he had lost his natural edge. He held up the hand he had cut before entering and willed his blood into motion. An identical small tendril emerged form the wound and swiveled around before returning to his body. At least that hadn't changed. He picked up his sword from the ground beside where he had lain and inspected the blade. The blood was dried, some time had passed since their entrance, it had certainyl felt like it.

Ignoring the others who had woken for now he walked over to the form of a small boy and yanked him up by the collar. The body let out a yelp that was part surprise and part pain, then proceeded to look nauseous. "If you throw up around me you're cleaning it up you weakling." he growled, causing Astere to quiver slightly before putting on a braver face. "Better." He tossed the sword at the boy who, knowing better than to dodge, took a small cut on his hand to catch the weapon. "Clean the blood off that." Grateful for an excuse to sit down the squire did just that. He was feeling sick and weak after hearing the voice and feared what it had done to him. Puling out a cloth and some oil he set about cleaning his master's sword as he was used to.

With that taken care of Cristoph turned to those that were awake. There were two people hugging, one of whom was obviously a faun. Another two were talking well, one was talking to at the other. And a fifth girl with blue hair rattling off her tongue as if she had a say in what was happening. Then there were a fair few more people sleeping of many different races. Plenty of meatshield to get him where he needed to be. "Get the others up and figure out where the hell we are." he ordered them all, "This doesn't look like any dungeon." The land appeared to rise up on both sides like a valley and the ceiling looked like the sky. Perhaps that was where the Endless part came in.

"Thou, who seek recognition to deserve. Who seek fame and glory. I will lend thou mine power, for that thy judgement may become unclouded."

Fame and glory? Was that what the voice thought he wanted? To a certain extent, the voice was right. But Myst didn't want to be seen as a 'hero', or any other childish dream like that. He didn't want people to see him as an all-powerful wizard and bow to his whim. He just didn't want him and his race to be treated like dog shit on the side of the world. For once in his boring life, he... he just wanted someone to appreciate him. Just once.

Alas, that dream sounded just as childish as the others, now that he thought about it. Maybe he should've just pleased the voice by blabbering on about world peace, or some other stupid dream.

It was then Myst realised he was in fact awake; unpleasant odours clouded his nose as he winced a little, but he decided to only slightly crack open his eyes and observe the situation, first. Who knows what dangers he could be facing if he just jumped to his feet.
Well this was interesting. A stinking forest of some sort, along with a colourful mix of people that he'd woken up with. The only logical explanation for all this would be that this was in fact the Endless Dungeon, even if there were no 'Dungeon' elements whatsoever. Either that, or he was hallucinating. The second reason wasn't likely, because even he couldn't hallucinate some of the weird people he was currently examining. Like the muscular lizard-man sleeping on the floor, for example.

The plus side was that none of the humans in his group from Stanward were here. Ha. They were all failures. Myst hoped those humans lived boring, miserable lives for how they treated his fellow Levian. Myst was a little concious of the fact other humans were indeed here, though. One of which was mistreating another and generally had a negative attitude about him - typical selfish human behaviour. Myst made a mental note to avoid that one. Either way, nobody seemed intent on killing eachother just yet, so Myst decided to slowly rise to his feet.
~~~
Myst's facial expression was non-existent as he clambered to his feet, stepping over some of the still-asleep and approaching the awake people to get a better look. After a short while of curious staring, Myst supposed he better introduce himself. Hopefully nobody was incompetent enough to mistake him for a female here, even if he doubted the intellectual abilities of this group already.
"Interesting." He said simply, his voice quite soft to the ear. 'Interesting' was probably the most polite way he could describe the others. If any of the females were particularly perceptive, they might see Myst's eyes go a little shy as he examined them. He was also visibly trying to avoid the gaze of the unfriendly, brown-haired man who seemed to boss another man around.
After a long pause, Myst rose his voice a little.
"Well then, seeing as we'll be together for a while, please call me Myst. I specialise in the art of ice, and empowering others." He said with deliberate slowness, in case any morons were around. His voice seemed somewhat bored, and 'approachable' probably wasn't a good word to describe this long-haired Levian. With that brief intro, he sat with his legs crossed as he waited for the others to wake up, masking his nose and mouth with his hair to block the unpleasant odour.
"Wait for everyone to awaken. I need to know who here is the strongest, fastest and most magically gifted." Myst's muffled voice came from under his hair. His tactic was simply to make the already extremely powerful even more powerful, creating a force to be reckoned with. So long as there were some meatshields to keep monsters off Myst's back, then his own temporary weakness when doing this wouldn't matter.
With that, Myst boredly began to sculpt long, crude ice spears from thin air. {Levian Ice-Art}
"Call me when we're ready to get going."
Doing so took a short while to perform, but he'd probably be able to make around 3 ice javelins by the time everyone was awake if all went smoothly. Best to get some basic preparations done, considering Myst didn't have much else better to do at this point. He could scout a little, but he assumed other people weren't complete dimwits and had the sense to that already.
Perhaps Myst would've been excited that the quest in the Endless Dungeon had finally started, but whoever designed the place was a jerk enough to make this stinking, foggy forest their starting point. Oh well. Perhaps it'd get better.
Thaylin wasn't quite expecting to be hug-ambushed by Mailyn, but he did manage to sense her coming. Even bracing himself, he's almost knocked to the ground by May's full body hug-tackle. Looking back at her, he listens to her speaking before smiling slightly and after a short time, breaking their embrace. "It's good to see you safe too May, you shouldn't go wandering off on your own like that." But before he can continue semi-scolding his old friend, he's interrupted by another woman, who introduced herself as the Witch Kyoya. Shortly after, and ice mage by the name of Myst introduced himself to to the group.
Motioning between himself and Mailyn, he speaks up again. "I am Thaylin, a druid, and as you can no doubt see this is Mailyn, a faun from my village. He nods at Kyoya's suggestion to get out of here. "As I said, we should move quickly, human bones can be worrying."
On that note, Thaylin's form begins to shrink, twisting and morphing itself until he had turned his self into his Hawk form. Letting out a screech, he flapped his wings and took off, scouting the area ahead from the skies.
In hawk form, he had increased vision, so he had no doubt he'd have no problems seeing what went on in the clearing below.
(Will update post when sky is awake so he can tell me what Thaylin sees.)
"Thou, who seek the truth in lies. Who seek the wisdom for the future. I will lend thou mine power, for that thy judgment may become unclouded."
"Seek". Plurally conjugated.
The Dungeon had addressed them all en masse. There was a group of people that he had been sorted into.
That would explain everyone around him. He'd been shuffled into a group of sixteen other people, it would seem, and they were all talking to one another in unkind tones, to say the least, save for two.
He was in a forest of some kind. The sky was stained green, and the scent of ice magic filled the air from a mage with long blue hair, drowning out the foul stench of the rot in the forest. Cliffs towered into the poisoned sky, closing them all in.
But that paled in comparison to a larger truth that existed around him.
Zephyr, Silent Winter Wind of the North, wasn't inside the Endless Dungeon. His perspective had completely changed.
It wasn't that he had entered the Dungeon. It was that a being of extraordinary power, named the Endless Dungeon had allowed him into its domain to seek his truth. It was an invitation that he would take with pleasure, and a challenge that he would accept with a firm resolve.
Imbued with a new determination, he got to his feet and announced his presence with a voice loud enough to shake the heavens.
"Hello, all people!" he called at the top his lungs to the group standing a matter of feet away from him.
Lucifera Ignus
"Then why is it that I feel so feeble?"
Lucifera opened her eyes with a sigh that followed her spoken annoyance towards the sense of frailty which cursed her already fragile self. Nonetheless, what was done was done; more important was to ascertain the present situation to the fullest of her understanding. The ominous yet somewhat enchanting surroundings were far from her expected envisions of the dungeon, yet they were satisfying nevertheless. If anything, it was hard-pressed for her not to pleased, given the sudden lack of bodies flooding the environment with their repulsive presence. A quick glance around herself counted about ten other adventurers; a number which was easy enough to ignore providing they took little interest in her presence.
In regards to the words of others, very little of Lucifera's attention was directed their way. A particular man in resemblance to a leader attempted to gain control of the party, yet from herself came no interest. Another attempted to deduce the strongest of the magicks; an act which brought a smile to her face, but no further reaction. Certainly, she fulfilled that role without competition; however, there was nothing to gain from satisfying his obvious ploy towards alignment. Rising to her feet, Lucifera gave her a body a quick stretch before flicking both wrists in an attempt to channel the power within her. The present act was hardly worth being recognized as a cast. If anything, it was a simple test of the environment of her magicks. A faint flicker of orange followed by blue erupted from the palms of both hands before fading as quickly as they formed. A satisfied smile formed on her face as her preparations completed without a hitch.
While the others occupied themselves with introduction, Lucifera took the liberty of slinking away from the group, and towards an arbitrary direction of forest. There was little concern towards the possibility of someone noticing her departure. Silent ignorance was the only response prepared for such scenarios, and may the heavens help anyone foolish enough to approach with the intentions of forcibly dragging her back. What Lucifera desired was some distance between herself and the group. An area void of pestering nuisances where she could distantly investigate the competition all while planning her next course of action. Thankfully, the clearing was small, and even if someone intended to follow, it would take a moment's time to garner her location amongst the cover of the forest. Slipping behind the veil of brush and tree, Lucifera peeked along the side of the bark in inspection of the group and their actions. Overall, her observations proved meaningless apart from a single transformation which caught her eye. Human into hawk was certainly interesting and his attempt of scouting certainly wise, yet she wondered the extent of his vision, limited by the fog.
"Perhaps a little assistance, Shapeshifter."
Lucifera's words were spoken amongst a small giggle that further inspired the mischief, twinkling in her eyes. Reaching her hand towards the location of the hawk's flight, Lucifera entered a slight state of concentration that was soon followed by what seemed to resemble an incantation.
"O Flames of Caelum, I summon thee now.
To smite thine foes, and cleanse their sins."
All in all, Lucifera had no intention of directly harming anyone in the vicinity. Were the spell to actually hit and slay any unlucky soul; be it the hawk in the sky or from the group in the clearing; it would be an unfortunate outcome upon their luck, yet nonetheless, a satisfying one. While Lucifera lacked intention, that meant nothing towards any enjoyment that might result from a sudden reduction of competition. With that said, the forming pillar of flames in the sky was ample notice for an oncoming attack, and more important was the illumination of flames to quell the fog...at least in theory.
Amongst the few bodies still sprawled on the ground, fast in slumber, one had begun to stir. More specifically, a long, slithering appendage that was far freer from the yoke of its weight than any other part of the bulky, greenish figure. The scaly thing quietly tussled against littered deadwood and bunches of other grass as it roamed the thin carpet of the forest floor like an actual living thing. Before long, it rolled over bone, emitting a dusty sound. Quickly, it swished further in another direction, and ended up smashing into thorny, dried bark.
In the background, a faint grinding noise, which sounds rather suspiciously like the dreamy snoring of a person of particularly great girth, was quickly hushed with a quiver and snort. Within seconds, the sleeping body of the scaly figure lumbered to turn on himself on his back, crunching fallen branches underneath as the figure smacked his dried lips together a few times. The damp scent of the grass that previously filled his nostrils was finally overcome by the stronger odor looming over the darkened copse all around. And as the newly awakened brand of explorers would have gathered, it smelt of one thing and one thing only; death.
For a while, the scale-covered explorer did seem to struggle accepting the stench, scrunching the bridge that ran alongside the top of his horned maw. But he managed quicker than any normal person would, at least. Was there but a dream inside his head, he would be seeing it change, from one thing to another as the ever-familiar smell flooded his most precious sense. Though never would this remind him of the hole. The hole was nothing but iron, either one or the other. The fog permeating the forest air, however, carried no scent of blood, only rot and bone.
At least, for now.
---{+}---
"...that thy judgment may... become... unclouded..."
"...Then, forgive me when I say..." O-uro again remembered himself telling the formless thing, one final time. "...I shall have no need for it."
---{+}---
One curious eye fought through the remaining sleep and pried open. It saw the formless sky overhead, and was instantly reminded of where it needed to be. The monstrous man-thing stumbled to sit up, dragging itself up with both elbows. As its figure rose, clearing away the rest of the leaves and sticks that previously clung to the cracks in between its jagged scales, the figure's lone eye scanned the forest floor, piercing through the fog as best as he could to look for any other bodies of interest. He found plenty, telling him that he's wasted enough time thus. The figure raced to get on his feet, paying bits of his mind to the sight, sound and smell of the various people and things around him as he did. The stench was overpowering his smell, and the fog shrouds his only eye.
Soon after, the ground in the clearing immediately close to him trembles slightly as the tall, hulking figure in the dim rises, slowly...
...And very menacingly.
"Hragh!"
The Valkyrie didn't understand what was going on. Would she be able to trust her instincts, let alone her later life?
"Thou, who seek the truth in lies. Who seek the wisdom for the future. I will lend thou my power..."
"Power is for the weak. My power, by all means, is mighty enough. Good day." Brynja failed to hear the last words. Besides, she had better things to do. After her argument, she heard, "...for thy judgment may become unclouded."
The last words proved it was another, new entity. She had no choice but to proceed. Never did she stumble, for all she desired were facts. The Valkyrie didn't understand what was going on. Would she be able to trust her instincts, let alone her later life?
With much effort, Brynhildr wanted her wings to fly her away. She wanted a view above, for knowledge awaited her grasp. Brynhildr didn't bother to talk to anyone. In fact, she was too ill to do so. All she could see was clouds of fog, trees and a foul, green sky. Suddenly, Brynja felt a violent chill down her back. Curiosity seized the Valkyrie, hovering down towards the group. Her eyes spotted a blue haired mage, the source of the magic. If she were there to help, she'd make friends to them.
She looked at her arms battered with scrapes. Now wasn't the time to talk. Now was not the time to get happy. In response to the jovial voice, Brynja smiled at the young man. "Hello." She waved at him, wishing to be on neutral terms. She didn't know how much to say, but what was that she could see? Various reasons lied for her distance. Brynja thought about using her light to guide the way. Even so, she wished for little conflict.
"Thou, who seek the truth in lies. Who seek the wisdom for the future. I will lend thou mine power, for that thy judgment may become unclouded."
Seven's eyes cracked open slightly as his consciousness withdrew from the void. The words spoken within his mind still lingered. There were certainly questions that needed answering, but Seven had not quite remembered what they were. His thoughts were sluggish as if his head was being moved to a new body. Was this what sleep did to people? Seven did not want to sleep again. It was too close to dying. Seven wondered why he knew what dying felt like. He dismissed the thought and finally remembered something. His father's words. His duty. The Endless Dungeon.
Seven took an unnecessary breath and awoke fully. The air was quite pleasant. It reminded him of the dying. Fog was everywhere, and the sky was drained of color. It was a great contrast to the bright blue back at the field, but he liked the atmosphere. It was like being pricked with needles. He tried to focus on his senses, but they felt off. Seven sprang from the floor. It seemed his body was working fine, but why did it still feel off. He just shrugged and accepted it. If he could move, he could perform his duties.
There seemed to be something missing. He scanned his surroundings. He seemed to be in a small clearing and there were people standing about with several more still lying on the ground. They seemed to be having fun. Seven wanted to have some fun too, but he was still looking for it. He checked around him and finally realized it wasn't here. His cooling pack of meat was gone. There was still at least two arms in there. It was a bit disheartening, but Seven didn't really hunger for flesh. It was just nice to have around just in case he tripped and severed his arm or leg. That was quite the fall he had two weeks ago. He didn't know that mountain rocks were that jagged. However that situation was remedied by a passing hunter who came to help. Seven like how there were always people who were around to help. He flexed his legs and arms. Everything was in order. So it was probably fine not grabbing some more flesh.
Father's first rule. Blend into your environment and get as much information as possible about your target. It was probably unwise to kill everyone here for just extra parts. There was a big lizard man and some kind of furry thing. Seven wasn't sure how they would even taste or become integrated within him. Though the idea of having a tail seemed interesting. But it was probably time to get find out where he needed to go. He walked up the group and asked, "Do you guys know where the Endless Dungeon is?" He had a big smile like sharp knives.
Under this mixture of shouted commands, making out, scouting the surroundings, friendly talk, ignoring said commands, attacking your team and whatnot, the red cloaked woman didn't seem to pay any attention. That was, until someone directly spoke to her. She stared a few more seconds off into the distance until realizing that the Rant was actually talking to her. Changing the focus of her view now on him, and not the sky, her eyes had a strong stare that felt simply uncomfortable. Yet, it was manners that one looked the other into their eyes while having a conversation. Unlike her lively eyes however, the rest of her face seemed rather void of emotion. And so was her cold, not changing voice. "I arrived the same way as you did." With those words spoken, a conversation may have been struck up, alas, the non-human had more important things to worry about, as a cleansing pillar of flaming justice came down onto a few unfortunate subjects.
One of those poor souls was the shape-shifting druid, surely, Lucifera's plan wasn't THAT bad, if not for the fact that the Hawk itself got hit by the flames, while his magical nature made him take no damage from the initial impact, he was on flames nonetheless. And, if no measures were taken, it was only a question of time until he burned into tasty chicken.
Another one of the unfortunate was the druids girlfriend, even if she had an easier time dodging the flames, her carefree behaviour didn't help at all when the flames decided to feed upon her feeble self. Unlike the hawk, the faun wasn't as lucky and it seemed for the mocking the bird made out of them, May had to pay twofold.
The sandrat, busy with the woman, wasn't spared either, with his poor understanding of arcane, he never stood a chance, and just like may, the flames demanded their tribute. And just like the others, he burned just as well. The woman who was with him, didn't move an inch, even as the flames struck her. Nothing happened. Whatever it was some artifact or just her own power, the flames didn't even dare to burn on her.
Last but not least, was a certain playboy, Nen. Just waking up, one may have demanded that he never had a chance to dodge. But his survival instincts and reflexes allowed him to survive the flaming slaughter in a manner more stylish than his two rivals.
The flames did more than enough work to clear some of the fog also, but with the shape-shifter being busy otherwise, his scouting had to take a small delay.
Rant was surprised at the woman's ignorance to his presence, but was put at ease when she turned to speak to him. However when the woman turned to respond her back became a more comfortable presence than the harsh glare she now gave him. He took a step back and waited for her answer and contrary to his thoughts of her she had arrived like the rest. Rant began to walk off to find a seat, but stopped to thank the woman and be burned half to death.
The heat did not bother Rant, but the initial impact and skin irritation drove him to the brink of his sanity. Rant quickly dove onto the ground and started rolling around to rid himself of the fire. When his efforts were starting to prove useless he burrowed underground and caved the area in. It was a race of oxygen now underneath the small crater that used to be the burning rat. As the flames died down so did his reserve. Just before he drew his last breath he punch through the layer of dirt above him. The ground shook in accordance to his unrelenting fury. Rant was able to break through, but could not climb out. The excessive force used to dig the hole in the short matter of time despite its small size was immense and drained Rant.
Curled up in a ball he tried to remember the events up until that point. Everything he heard, every whiff he took, every sight he saw, Rant was documenting. While contemplating about his surroundings he knew there was sixteen that originally were there. One that can be ruled out automatically was the primal beast that awoke. "The prince... is too stupid. Doesn't have the gall either..." Rant started shoveling dirt slowly out to make more room. He was doing so subconsciously to cope with stress. "Then there's the mage, but I could hear someone that close for sure. Hear... What did I hear." Rant stopped digging. "It was laughter." His useless digging resumed and picked up pace as he pieced two and two together. "I was talking to the mysterious before the blast so it can't be her. The fauns were preoccupied with the mage. Then the ice kid seems to use only ice. Then how come I didn't hear- Damn that reptile! If not for his blasted roar I could've avoided this outcome! The one responsible must have escaped to cover by now. This is why I hate people." Rant slashed downward at the dirt and stared straight ahead into the sediment in front of him. "I'm going to squish the arsonist who did this and then I'm going to kill that lizard." Rant continued digging toward the forest.
[BCOLOR=transparent]He coughed loudly, tasting the smell of rotting flesh. Wonderful, someone forgot to take out the trash. There wasn't anything concerning to him about the smell. A human must have approached their river and some of the low tier Sireids must have taken them out. However, the stench was overwhelming, Nen clutched the ground around him. The tall trees swayed in the wind, the autumn leaves falling as they did. In a small clearing, surrounded by wild flowers was the mother and her child. Playing, laughing. The father came and the child stumbled to his outstretched hands, only just able to walk. The image fizzed and changed, showing the child, older now, in a room full of strangers. The mother, the father. Both were gone and now two arrive to take their place. They weren't good enough. It was a curse, indeed, that dreams are generally made of memories...
"Thou, who seek perfection in destruction. Who seek blood and chaos. I will lend thou mine power, for that thy judgement may become unclouded."
It was those very words that had woken Alina. Those words that would send shivers down the spines of those who were at least conscious. Grumbling and rubbing her eyes, she sat up, trying her very best not to choke on the smell. She blinked open her eyes, tears swelling up from the fog and... Smoke? Was that smoke? Glancing around, Alina let out a yelp, barely dodging out of the way of the flaming column and landing into a large pile of bones. "Oooh-kay," she mumbled, shivering. Indeed, that wasn't the best way to wake up. She shivered again, unable to help but disappear in the confusion. She just hoped that no one had noticed.
Myst looked up from his ice-sculpting when he saw an armoured woman wave at him, wearing a friendly-seeming smile. Myst blinked plainly. Was he meant to say 'hello' back? He wasn't very socially trained, but he supposed it'd be polite.
"Erm... hello." Myst replied simply, giving the slightest of smiles back. Myst wasn't sure where to go from there, though. Did she want to be his ally, or something like that? Myst wasn't really used to people actually... well... smiling at him. It was a nice gesture from her nonetheless, even if Myst didn't really show much reaction other than a tiny blush. She looked like a fighter; which was very useful for someone like himself.
"Do you guys know where the Endless Dungeon is?" Somebody else suddenly asked.
"We're probably in it." Myst replied plainly, going back to sculpting his ice javelins. What a weird hat...
He would of perhaps explained a little further, if it weren't for the lizard man awakening with a somewhat terrifying grunt. Myst flinched a little at this, dropping an ice javelin he was in the middle of sculpting. Was that thing going to attack them? And then, a pillar of flame erupted atop a group of people. An absolutely brilliant start.
~~~

Myst gave a slow, purely annoyed sigh. Some sort of moronic mage had decided to demonstrate her abilities by setting some people ablaze. Not only was Myst weak to fire, but he was somewhat afraid of flames, and hated the art of fire magic altogether. It was an art that could only destroy.

"I suppose that flame-moron thought that was funny." Myst said simply, rising to his feet and facing the fire mage with a plain, disapproving look in his narrow eyes. Myst already had to consider whether the menacing lizard-man wanted to eat everyone or not. Now this idiot had caught some people ablaze. Myst had the right mind to...

"Come on, help them out..!" One of the males behind him said. Turning away, Myst squinted a little as he noticed the woman with antlers had caught fire. He thought it'd only been the druid, who could probably fly at a high speed to put the flame out, and the furry thing that seemed to be dealing with the fire in his own way. As for the poor faun, she didn't seem to have a method of putting out the fire.

Giving a quiet sigh, Myst prepared his magic, swirls of light blue enveloping his fingers and floating around him. With a slight flick of his wrist, the calming light weaved around the alight girl, enveloping her in a luminescent cocoon as Myst continued to weave the 'Refresh' spell carefully. Ideally, this would cleanse the girl of any flames.

Myst performed the spell almost perfectly, muttering brief magic words as the cocoon of blue energy slowly dissapated around the faun. The flames were doused from the girl, and her burns were mended by the light, almost as if the fire had never been there in the first place.

It was a strange enough thing to be waking up in this vast, forested hollow of the alleged dungeon, but the manner of the clearing and the people gathered inside it at the time Ouro laid his eye on them rivaled it well, as they were nothing common whatsoever, even to everyday life for a person like him. It was to the point that he was unsure if he was still dreaming, or dead altogether. Yet, the stirred foliage beneath him grazed at his feet, and the burning smell sweeping the area soon brought him to head.

To wit, flames were prancing all over the grass and the trees, though not enough to start a deadly forest blaze just yet. As the fire thinned the fog, Ouro squinted to get a better view of his surroundings as he yawned again and poured life into each of his working limbs. The air was a faintly pale nonetheless, but it give way to sights of great concern; without wasting another moment, Ouro ran a thick, scaly hand through his belongings as some panicked sounds amidst the trees finally get through to his now-fully awake self.

Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
Unfortunately, people of Ouro's stature rarely seemed to have an idea of how they could mistakenly appear to other people. The lizard man half-ran with lumbering steps, each of which made heavy sounds, as he put in all his stamina to close distance between himself and those who were catching fire. As he ran, he nearly stumbled over an area of the ground which seemed to have caved in, as if something had burrowed underneath with uncanny efficiency. Halfway through the clearing, and certainly out of the one dimmer edge of the forest that he had been in moments prior, Ouro paused slightly as he looked around one more time. In his hands were a thick swathe of assorted leather and cloth, another item on himself that he'd hoped to fashion into a piecemeal windbreaker. But for the moment, it had another use.

Thump!

It was only now that he had a better idea of whom had entered the dungeon with him, but he reserved some doubt for when his sense of smell was back to its prime nonetheless. Stomping out a fire on the ground, Ouro started running heavily again, past the blue-haired human woman who had acted on a smaller figure with an incantation of some sort, the latter awash with a gentle light. Ouro gathered it to be the foreign 'magic', signifying that the human was no human at all in fact, but he couldn't afford to pay the two another glance. He was nevertheless relieved when the small one seemed to have been saved from the fires. If he'd approach it then, how would it have responded to his beastly figure? Not good, perhaps.

Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!

Further down the clearing, past the one boy who slightly smelt of the seas, and the unhealthy-looking young man (he'd have to double-back on this particular figure afterwards), was the other person who was under a shroud of flame. She was strangely still for a figure being licked at by flames, but Ouro paid no more mind to either herself or the weapon in her possession as he ran up to her, finally passing the two human men and the other blue-haired person in the group. Once he was in close proximity, the saurian heaved the improvised piece of clothing overhead, and sought to bring it down without too much force on the woman with the intention of putting the fires out.

"...Still! Still!" he would shout out. That is, until he would come to realize that the woman was actually not burning at all. The bluish flames he had seen clinging to the woman's face and body merely seconds ago were simply gone. What was he about to do, then? "H-Hrrmph...?"

Myst performed the spell almost perfectly, muttering brief magic words as the cocoon of blue energy slowly dissipated around the faun. The flames were doused from the girl, and her burns were mended by the light, almost as if the fire had never been there in the first place.

Zephyr seemed to simply appear next to him, gazing intently at the space where the spell had existed a moment ago, an open-mouthed smile of awe on his face.
The chaos of the clearing was clearly not help at all by his rushing around, but there was now actual, material magic in front of him that he hadn't seen before. To Zephyr, it was as a siren.
"I have not seen that before!" he chimed with interest. "What was it?"

He was still trying to identify the source, however, of the intense fire blast from before. From what he had been able to see of it, it had been weaved of complex magic that he hadn't seen since the section of the White World that had opened, and even then it had been fused with magic of the real world. It held a beauty quite unlike anything he had ever seen, like a fabric made from two entirely different threads. While they certainly weren't Silver Ones, there was absolutely no way either of the mages could be human.

Thaylin was on fire.

The man taken hawk form couldn't process much at first, when he had been hit by the flames, it took a combination of controlling his instincts and his own magical knowledge to avoid the brunt of the attack. He had managed to avoid being hurt by the individual impact, but some of the residual fire had stuck to him, and slowly but surely, Thaylin was turning into a cooked bird.

He knew he didn't have much time, but since he was in the air, there was no time for a fancy maneuver. He enters a steep dive, wind whipping past his side until he's moving fast enough to smother the flames that couldn't get any oxygen in time to burn him. Flames taken care of, he flaps his wings and climbs back up to his old altitude, somewhat suprised at their location.

To the west, there was an ole shrine looking structure, and a flying castle above it. As comforting as the sight of the shrine was to Thaylin, the castle seemed almost eerily out of place in this world, he didn't want to think of the magics required to keep some a structure in the air....and chances were it had been there for a long time, as castles are usually built with long lasting intentions

To the East, a valley, with a mountain sitting on the other side. Seemingly nothing of import that way, and the valley itself seemd almost unclimbable.

To the South, a large forest stretched on, but as it went it began to die, and he felt unease from that way, shaking off the feeling, his gaze turns to the last remaining direction

The North had a similar forest to the south, but it didn't' die, instead being littered with occasional huts and such along the river. Thaylin could not make out nay people, but chances were this way was his best bet.

Throughout this entire thing, something puzzled Thaylin, and he couldn't quite put his hand on it....something about the forests, the area around him...was missing something. As he swooped down into the clearing, he realized it: There were no animals. At all.

But as he approached the clearing again, something was wrong, people were on fire, he knew he had been struck, but others as well? He immediately landed, and shifted back to human as soon as he saw May was in trouble, he didn't really know what to do, but the combined actions of the ice mage and the lizard-man seemed to have her under control, putting out the flames quickly.

Approaching her side, he checks her for injuries, but it seemed the ice mages spell dealt with any injuries as well, he nods, more to himself then anything. "Are you alright May?" He says, figuring he should at least figure out if she was still in pain. "Thank you, Myst." He turns to the large lizard being, who seemed more confused on how May was no longer on fire. "You as well, sir lizard." He stands up, looking around the clearing, his scouting report could wait. "Did anybody see what caused the fire?"

Summary: A wonderful start! Mailyn got aflame and almost became a Venison pot roast if it weren't for the lovely Levian and a ladykiller merman. Mailyn suddenly became Hotaru. *inside joke* 】

-Skipping all the details of everyone awake, etc. Can't be fancy on detailssssss, sorry if I missed stuff, kinda in a rush blehbelkqwkhrjgj ;;;m;;;;-
Mailyn was feeling quite hot. How peculiar for her temperature to rise so fast as the weather wasn't at all hot like a desert. Giving acknowledge for what was the cause of it, she squealed in shock and concern at her cloak catching flames as the blazing colors of red, yellow, and orange could match with the colors of her eyes. She struggled to pull off the flaming robe around her form but due to the panic running in her veins, her mind was in a blur of what to do just like a deer would act when danger was near.

No one seemed to try to help her out to take the flames away and feeling the heat melt the cells on her skin, it was possible she would have to accept her death and let the others eat her remains as she was part animal but she wasn't gonna let death have her so soon. She was already in the fourth degree of burns with charred skin until someone shouted out stuff along the line of her to stay still -- a large beast with the appearance of a mighty reptile -- and for someone to help -- a winsome man with aqua-lagoon hair being the one who decided to take action, her beloved saviour -- as another man -- or so she presume was a male -- aid her from the flames as a gentle light wrapped her in a cocoon until she was fully healed from her wounds as if it never occurred that she was burned.

Her robe and parts of her dress still held evidence of the fire but over all, she was completely fine as she turned towards the three males that helped her,"T-thank you for saving me!" She stuttered, the shock still shook her but it didn't stop her from running up to the three for a hug of gratitude, before she backed away when Thaylin returned from the skies,"Yes, I'm alright, these three helped me." She replied to ensure her friend she was perfectly fine though she did worry for the other who was burn in the flames.

As the commotion continued to happen around her, Alina picked herself up from the pile and brushed herself off. The first thing she needed to do was to step away from the crowd. This would allow her to stand, or sit, still and think without being accidentally bumped into. She may have been invisible, but she was still there. They just couldn't see her.

When she finally managed to step away without creating too much noise, she stood back towards the edge of the clearing so that she could think. Though, that didn't particularly work when the surrounding forest gave off an eerie feeling. The girl shuddered, taking a step forwards and knelt to the ground. Using one hand to balance herself, she began thinking back on what she could remember happening. Alina could remember everything up until the point in which she had jumped, or was actually pushed, into the gate. After that, it was sort of... Fuzzy. She remembered hearing the voice, though the question was unknown. She could, however, remember her answer. She wished for destruction and chaos. Then... Perhaps the question was something about what she had wanted?

After that was just blackness again. Then she woke up here. In a clearing. Surrounded by the very idiots that were either forced into the gate with her or had jumped in themselves. Just great. Sighing, Alina looked around the clearing, taking in her surroundings. There wasn't much, save for the scattered remains of whatever poor creatures were killed here but the fog certainly wasn't helping. She thought back to the flaming column. Perhaps someone had attempted to clear up the fog? For all she knew it did work. However a flaming column of fire often did draw the attention of unwanted friends. The girl could only hope that this wasn't the case.

Thinking of how she could protect herself should trouble arrive, she noticed the various items she had. They weren't there before. But in any case, Alina was glad. She had her father's sword again. All would be okay.

Myst blinked plainly as he saw the giant lizard attempt to help the faun. Even if the lizard-man didn't appear to possess a high level of intelligence, at least it had a good heart and wasn't trying to kill everybody. Unlike the flame-user... wherever they'd went. Myst was just about ready to give them a piece of his mind if they shown their undoubtedly smug face. When he was thanked for his help, Myst didn't really show a reaction whatsoever, other than a brief nod. It wasn't like he'd just let someone burn to death, especially when they'd all be relying on eachother within this dungeon.

However, when he was pulled in for a sudden hug of gratitude by the faun, Myst almost lost his emotionless appearance, taking a few shy steps backwards once she'd released him. Luckily for him, the blush of a Levian wasn't easily visible. He hadn't really been cuddled before, so it was certainly a strange experience. Strange in a good way, though.
"E-Erm... you're welcome." He mumbled almost inaudibly.
After standing somewhat blankly for a few moments, Myst cleared his throat and regained his usual demeanour.

"I have not seen that before! What was it?" Some sort of bubbly voice said. Myst peevishly turned his head to the man who'd seemingly appeared right next to him. Although Myst puffed up a little with pride at the fact somebody was interested in his powers, he did his best to remain expressionless. The black-haired man looked like a mostly average human, after all.
"Well. That, is the Levian art of magic. I doubt you've heard of it..." Myst said somewhat patronizingly, putting the hair over his nose and mouth again like a mask; he couldn't get used to this awful smell within this forest. "The blue light you saw there was a small amount of my very own life energy. The 'Refresh' spell I performed then is naturally endothermic, allowing my energy to put out the flames whilst mending the girl's wounds." Myst continued matter-of-factly. The beauty of the Levian Art was that once you were done aiding another with the energy, you could take it back in most instances. ...Not that any human would understand or appreciate the graceful magic he'd been blessed with. Back in Stanward, his control of water was used for sewage treatment. A humiliating job that Myst thankfully didn't do for more than a week.

~~~
"Anyway. If we're done burning each other-" Myst paused, looking around as if daring the fire mage to show their face and attack someone again. "-Then we should move on swiftly. I suppose you got a view whilst burning up there - did you see anywhere we should head to?" Myst asked the male druid plainly. It'd probably useful for the male druid to lead at this point, considering he might've got a good view of the area. Myst still was mostly unsure of the abilities everybody else here possessed, but there seemed to be a... colorful mix of professions. And a decent handful of fighters, which was perfect, considering Myst needed some people to keep threats off his back.
Finally finishing all three of his ice javelins, Myst neatly slotted the three somewhat crude but very sharp weapons neatly within his belt, just in case. Myst was unsure if it was even an option to head off alone in this place, but sticking together seemed almost vital in an unknown area like this. Hopefully there weren't any glory-hunting morons that decided to run off alone on their own little adventures. The last thing he needed was everybody scattering everywhere... truth be told, he didn't want to be alone in this place. His abilities did rely on having allies to use them on, after all.
[BCOLOR=transparent]Kyoya was still waiting for a reply from the Dynamic Druid Duo when she heard an incantation being spoken from behind. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]"O Flames of Caelum, I summon thee now. To[/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent] smite[/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent] thine foes, and cleanse their sins."[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Shit.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Immediately after, hell broke out. Literally, Hell. A huge, pillar of fire shot through the sky, nuking the bird kid and the faun girl. Kyoya herself managed to dodge it, jumping back away from the faun, and skidding across the dead grass. "Hey, I know I was a little rude, but between dropping me on my ass and trying to roast me alive, that's a little much!" The girl shouted once more at the sky, but she knew it wasn't some angry god or being that controlled this godforsaken dungeon. That was some magic, and strong magic, at that. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Though slightly concerned with the burning faun girl and the druid boy that was about to become roast fowl, she took it upon herself to let the others take it upon themselves and put the burning kids out, which they did. Moments after, everyone began chattering all at once, one scary lizard man grunting and wondering how to flames went out, while another, a loud, young looking child, bellowed about new magic. The only person that really wasn't freaking out over this was the only one who should've been freaking out; Birdman. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]"Did anybody see what caused the fire?" [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]Kyoya, who had returned to the couple's side as they were thanking everyone, piped up once more.[/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"Mm, didn't see anything, but I heeeaaaard an incantation. Something about smiting thine foes, or something… I think there's another witchy witch out here," [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]she said, waving her hand about nonchalantly.[/BCOLOR] [BCOLOR=transparent]"Based on the incantation and the type of magic, I'd assume that she's not part of this biome place. Ya know, 'cause this is a forest, and that was fire magic. Which means, she was one of the sleepers. One of us, ya know. Woke up, maybe decided that she wasn't gonna be all calm and teamwork-y, figured that burnin' us all to crisps would be the best option."[/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent] The blue haired witch shifted her gaze over to the druid boy, closing off with a casual, [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]"Ya know?"[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]After she finished, the mage thing who was called Myst ([/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]Is that right?) asked about where they should go, and what he saw. Kyoya nodded along in agreement. "Yeah, where to, Birdman?" [/BCOLOR]
