Evelyn was on the move in an instant, ducking behind the boxes as soon as she saw a good opportunity, and waited. Though as she waited, she could clearly overhear the guards talking about the nature of the bodies, looks like things were pretty on edge around here.

At any rate, she didn't want to get too sidetracked, and kept her focus on the task at hand, waiting for the guards to get close to her position as she prepared do strike, swiftly, and silently.

As soon as one of the guards drew close enough, she would attempt to nab them quickly, intending to knock them out with the side her stick as quickly as possible. Once she was better armed... She might just be able to take out his partner
The sneak attack slammed into the Red Court Thrall, followed by a close second as from above, Lucifer dropped down directly atop the other. The entire turn taking place in seconds and in silence, Lucifer giving Evelyn a nod before melting into the shadows once more.

The weapons left behind appeared to be pistols...Sig Saur handguns to be exact.

And the rifles, standard AK-47's.

Vincent didn't even bother to try and shake himself dry after he hauled his ass up through the gun port. He couldn't risk someone hearing him down here and coming down to check, and besides, not like it would help much after they went for another round in the water. Instead, he briefly checked his weapons to make sure they were still in working order before taking in the sight before them.

"Dammit..."

There were definitely too many of the clay bastards to quietly kill, and he couldn't resort to fire his gun without provoking them and anyone above on the top deck... So he would just need to be quiet the entire time he was aboard. That also meant he couldn't just bust the brig's lock (if it had one, and it probably did) with a gunshot or a smack of his shotgun... This was really going to get complicated and dangerous if he wanted to get the knife-thrower out.

Guess I should have expected it, given that this is the Red Court...

With a careful step to make sure he didn't accidentally kick one of the zombies awake and raging, Vincent headed down the line of them, eyeing their pockets if they had any for a bulge of some kind that looked like a key. If none of them had such a thing, he would huff and move to the stairs, to peek up to the upper deck and see if any of the workers top side might have the key.
Up top, Vincent would see a Troll Servitor putting down a crate, turning around before moving to get more...Otherwise, everything seemed clear and silent- A path to the captains cabin clear.

If there was a key, it had to be there.

Evelyn gave Lucifer a silent nod in return, as if to say "thank you". Of course, saying this out loud was likely a bad idea if there were any reinforcements lingering around.

Thanks to Lucifer's efforts though, it appeared she had access to a wider range of weapons; sadly there wasn't much in the way of melee, so she'd have to... Stick with what she had, but at the very least, they had a few guns to choose from.

While she would love to handle an AK-47, Evelyn was quick to note just how tough it would be to move around with something like that on her. On the other hand, she decided to snag a handgun and a few extra clips of ammo for it, she was no master gunwoman or anything, but... Well, they looked relatively easy to handle.

All in all, it would be better than just using her stick when she's skulking around the ship, waitng for a signal from Vincent.

"Coast's clear..." Vincent muttered after making a three count of the passing seconds, making sure that the Troll wouldn't turn back and catch him darting through the darkness. Believing himself safe now, he scurried over as fast as he could in silence, pressing himself against the wall to hide in the shadows for a moment. Moment of truth...

One hand drew the SIG he had gotten from Lucifer on loan while the other wrapped around the door's lever, slowly pushing it down or turning it to see if it was locked and, if not locked, to carefully push it open.

Lisa threw Evelyn and Lucifer a silent thumbs up before taking a look at the weapons. She already had a pistol, but a second couldn't hurt.

Oh, and an automatic rifle. That'd be good too, if they ever needed the big firepower. She doubted she'd hang onto it for too long though. Grabbing two guns, she put the pistol away as she picked up the AK-47 with both hands.

Armed and dangerous, they would be in the clear....Up to the point by the gangplank, one of the Thralls brought a walkie-talkie to his mouth and spoke, the voice echoing from the belt of the knocked out thralls.

"TK-419, reporting."

"TK-420, reporting in. All quiet here."

"TK-421, give us a wave."

"TK-422? Where are you?"

Unless they did something, it was clear something would be wrong....

In comparison to the crypt-like nature of the ship, the captains cabin seemed the epitome of luxury. Fine silks, scattered treasures and old parchment alongside the scent of spices, candle wax and assorted filled the air...All covering up a fainter and older scent in the floorboards.

Blood.

A solitary figure stood by the window, lost in thought seemingly before speaking aloud.

"Thrall, why aren't we sailing yet? The Red Court is awaiting us and time is of the essence."

Vincent bit back a curse as the cabin was revealed to have an occupant, and a dangerous one at that. The captain just had to be on his ship at all times, didn't he? Worse was the fact that the vampire had already addressed him, meaning he couldn't get away so easily...

Well, only one thing he could do.

"The trolls, my lord, they are taking longer than expected with the cargo."

Straight-faced, almost a little dumb-looking, the fishman hoped he pulled off the look of a thrall well enough. All he really had to go on was the college freshmen he had seen in the past few months.

That wasn't good, Evelyn quickly rushed for the walkie talkie, pausing a little, she was gonna try and fill in for the er... Incapacitated Thralls, but, she wasn't sure if she was the best fit for the role.

"Anyone got a good Thrall voice?" She asked.

On the other hand, she was prepared to speak through the walkie talkie herself if need be, though she'd be at risk of getting busted if her voice were to crack or something.

"TK-421. Jim? Garn? Where the hell are you two?!"

There was a bit of impatience in the tone now and a beat later, one thrall would be moving towards where the two ambushed were last.

The other would be holding up the walkie talkie by the gangplank...

Better think fast.

The walkie talkie on the captains belt crackled to life.

"Master, we have a situation. Two of the thralls are down."

"And? Where are the others?"

He seemed to have forgotten Vincent entirely as he scowled unseen.

"Still looking sir. Moore headed out to find them."

There was a beat suddenly, a pregnant pause that gave birth to a number of other pauses before he spoke.

"....So who is this, with me in my cabin?"

Oh for the love of god...

Looks like the jig was up. Was he the only competent one in this crew? Where the hell was the priest when the others needed to be kept in line?

Oh well, not like he could keep the bluff going any longer. Without any hesitation, the fishman raised his gun and began firing straight for the vampire's back, looking to hit his spine if he was lucky and cripple the bastard.

"Sorry, but I don't give out my name to dead scum."

Well, better to try and fail than to not try at all. Or something. Figuring it was worth a shot, Lisa tried to analyze the voice as best as she could, digging for information on the details about the voice. The sound, the intonation, how the throat vibrated the air. And then she'd have to try to replicate it with her own voice.

Unfortunately her power only gave her information, not the physical power to actually mimic anything, but it would be worth a shot, right?

"Here, lemme try," she whispered to Evelyn before taking the walkie-talkie. Clearing her throat, she prepared her best attempt at a thrall voice. "All quiet here."

The shorter the better, but she didn't want the others coming too close, so she hoped that reporting the situation as quiet would keep them away.

Evelyn nodded, handing the walkie talkie over without hesitation, though as this happened... She quickly gripped her pistol with both hands, deciding to find cover once more. If it just so happened that Lisa was unable to keep the heat off of them, she realized she'd have to pick off any threats coming their way.

While Evelyn wasn't exactly the best markswoman, she should at least be familiar enough with the gun to be able to eliminate the guards that may be coming their way. However, she'd prefer it if she could get close enough to any opposition heading over to knock them out instead.

Cover would be found for Evelyn to get to where she needed to go. At least to a position to pick off the Thrall approaching their hiding place as well as the one standing by the gangplank, though it'd be a tougher shot.

As for the attempt, the imitation was passable...And the walkie talkie static helped the rest.

"Goddamn it, next time say something. If I find you guys sneaking off again on duty-."

And then the sound of gunfire echoed from the ship, both Thrall's spinning in the direction and the closest to their hiding place stopping short as they rushed for the ship.

As for Vincent....

There was a sudden impression of movement, then a spidery crawl upon the ceiling.

And then the sudden impact of pain as Vincent was tackled through the doors and the skin of the monstrosity burned away.

As soon as either the Thrall was a safe enough distance away from his pal to be picked off by a shot from Evelyn's pistol... Or if it had simply come close enough to her cover that she could just knock the poor thing out, she made her move, attempting to take out the creature as swiftly, and silently as possible.

One down, one to go... But instead of immediately opening fire, she decided to try and find cover closer to the gangplank. It was possible she might have to open fire with her pistol, but she would prefer a stealthier approach, if she had the opportunity for one.

Well shit. That was certainly one way to make it clear that he wasn't welcomed there.

"Dammit!" Vincent bit out as he was launched out the door by the monstrosity, sent flying by its tackle. For a moment, his head spun as he tried to recover and curled into a ball to roll with the landing. Each of his pain receptors were flaring up as he hit wooden deck and struggled to keep hold of his weapon. He needed to recover quickly, to get the upper hand n the fight once again.

As he came to a stop and pushed himself up, he leveled his aim straight through the door and at the creature as it was sure to follow. Hopefully, something other than the zombies below would hear his shots.

She gave Evelyn a thumbs up to indicate her success, and simply left it to the other woman to take the thralls out. Her stealth and combat skills weren't anything to write home about after all.

And in full view of the entire party, the Captain charged through, wings flapping as it took flight and roared.

The thrall by the gangplank aimed for Vincent, before collapsing as Lucifer materialized behind him and knocked him out with a blow to the base of the neck.... And in full view of the two trolls who grunted. One lurched with astounding speed in the direction of Lucifer, knocking both of them into the water with a splash as the fight began to rage.

The Captain, seeing no sign of his thralls roared in anger as he screamed into the air.

"OPEN FIRE!"

Evelyn seemed to relax, just for a moment, having taken down her two intended targets. Though it looks like she wasn't in the clear yet; her cover wasn't exactly blown, but it sure would be in a few moments... That is, to pieces, and to add to that, around half the ships crew cleared out, armed and ready to tango.

"Right... Whoever said this was going to be easy..." She muttered.

After taking the briefest of moments to assess her surroundings, Evelyn rushed from cover to cover, trying to take potshots towards the zombie crewmen when she could. However, despite her seemingly random pattern as she tried to weave her way around her docks, she appeared to be trying to get close to easy targets amongst the crew... Intending to dish out some heavier blows up close.

Range was fine with her, but if there was one thing that she truly excelled at, it was close quarters combat, though she realized she probably could have done with bringing a better weapon than a sharpened stick for future reference. Oh well, if all else failed, a good ol' pistol whipping should do the trick, right?
