Haven City

Haven was created in the early 2000's, in hope of creating the very first Utopian environment. It went well for a few years but as the city's population increased peace slowly started to slip away. It started out as small things such as fights between neighbors, petty thief and eventually murders. Small gangs started to spring up all over but only two truly conquered all. The Scarlet Scorpions and the Black Wolves have been rivals for as long as anyone can remember. The rumors are that the original founders of the gangs were once partners. But one of them betrayed the other and they ended up splitting up and creating their own gang. Even to this day the no one could tell you for sure which betrayed who but the Scorpions would blame the Wolves and vice versa.

Haven City is made up of three islands connected known as the Northern island, Middle island and Southern island. The Scarlet Scorpions have control over the Northern, while the Black wolves rule over the Southern. The two have been fighting over the Middle island, whoever controls that will gain the numbers to finally take down their rival. The thing that makes the middle island different from the others is that it was made for the upper class in the past. The Police headquarter is stationed there which has made it harder for the two gangs to truly take over. Middle island schools do accept students from all over Haven but only those lucky enough to get in get the chance to attend them.

Northern Island, Scarlet Scorpion Hangout

"I don't understand! How is it that we who represent the great Scarlet Scorpion gang isn't able to figure out where one single person has run off to! I don't believe that they magically found a way off of Haven because we all know no one ever leaves Haven! So that means you are all not looking hard enough! I want Lysander Martin and I want him now!"

Damien growled out as he looked around the room at the members gathered. Seriously! He was in charge of one of the largest gangs in Haven city and was well on his way to taking over all of Haven City. Or he was before he found out that the weasel of a hacker Martin had been selling info to the Black Wolves. He had caused Damien a whole team of men and guns when the Wolves had ambushed their pickup location. It has been years since the bastard had ran off and no one had been able to catch wind of him. But Damien refused to give up, no one messed with his family and lived.

"Boss, I think we found something that might interest you." Damien looked over to one of his members that walked up with an envelope. "It better be good." He said as he took the envelope and started to look over the information. It seemed like one of the banker's on Middle that they paid had found something quite interesting. Lysander Martin was never a man to talk about his life or family. He would do what was needed for the gang and then payment would be transferred to a northern island bank account. That was it, but it seemed that Lysander had been secretly transferring money into another account. A middle island account that had been frozen till the owner of said account had turned 18. Damien smirked as he looked at the small picture that had been attached to the information.

"Cassie Martin"

Southern Island, Black Wolves Hideout

Inside the busy halls of the Black Wolves hideout, men, women and children were running around. Yet despite what would seem like sheer chaos to anyone from the outside. Everyone was working together in perfect sync. Then the clock hit 19:00; the grand bell rang out through the building. Everyone stopped for a moment before letting out excited cheers through the work place. A Man of tall stature walked up in front of them all and gently stood before a microphone.

"Well done for today guys, once again we have made a large sum of money. Soon we will have enough to buy out the police headquarters in the middle island and then take full control." Kai smiled as the room erupted into roars of happiness once more. Then the clock ticked, 19:01. Everyone slowly started to disperse leaving Kai by himself and then someone ran up in front of him, panting and looking up speaking slowly so that Kai could understand.

"Sir, you have 30 minutes before you're meant to be meeting Miss Matrin at the Burlington Café. We've brought the car round and have secured the perimeter so you two will be safe." The man then ran off as quickly as he had come. Kai sighed before getting away from the microphone and heading over to the exit and then hopped into the car that drove off speedily. As they left the complex a couple cars followed behind as escorts.

19:20, The car pulled up a few streets away from the Burlington Café. Although Kai was known for his job, somehow his one true friend Cassie Martin had never found out he was the Godfather of the Black Wolves and he intended to keep it that way. Dashing quickly to the café he took a seat and sighed taking in a deep breath and closing his eyes as he waited for her to arrive.

Cassie lightly hummed to herself as she made her way toward her favorite cafe. Burlington Cafe, every Saturday at the same time Cassie would meet up with her closest friend Kai. Tonight was special though since for the last couple months they hadn't been able to hang out. This was because Cassie had finals and entrance exams to study for. Now normally Cassie would talk her way into Kai giving in and letting them still hang out but since the finals were for her high school completion and the entrance exams were for one of the top graphic designing colleges on middle island. He had been adamant about Cassie completely focusing on her studies. Though it sucked because not only had Kai missed her 18th birthday but he even missed her graduation.

Kai had said he couldn't come because of work but Cassie believed it was because he was worried what her parents would think of him. Her parents were known for being strict and only accepting the best in their household failure was never an option. Their pressure only seemed to increase on Cassie once her older brother left a couple years ago. Honestly when Lysander left it hurt Cassie, he knew how their parents could be and he left her to deal with it on her own. Luckily it was around that time Cassie had meet Kai and he helped keep her sane and always knew how to cheer her up when she needed it. If it wasn't for him she wasn't sure what she would of done by now.

"He's gonna freak when I show him this." Cassie muttered to herself as she looked down at the opened envelope in her hand. It was the acceptance letter from Middle Island Graphics University. She had just received it today in the mail and she wanted Kai to be the first to see it. So deep in her thoughts Cassie didn't notice she was about to bump into someone in till she had felt their shoulders hit. "I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." She blurted out as she turned to look at the person she had bumped. The man that stared back at her was tall and had a very rough look to him. Feeling uncomfortable Cassie turn to run off but something had grabbed her wrist. Whirling around Cassie stared up at the guy.
"..." Cassie wasn't sure what to say but the way the man was looking at her freaked her out. it was like he was staring right into her and it was very disturbing. "I..I have to go." Cassie said before she yanked her arm away and turned to ran through the crowded street. Burlington Cafe was located in the heart of middle island so it wasn't surprising that the night life was crowding the area. "He must of just been a drunk." She said once she made it the extra few blocks she needed to be across from the Cafe. Cassie was about to cross the street so she could make her way to the cafe but stopped when she felt like she was being watched.

Cassie gasped as she looked down the block she had just came from. There stood the same man that she had grabbed her, he continued to stare at her. Their staring contest continued for a bit before a bus drove pass the man. But as quick as he had appeared he was gone by the time the bus passed. "What the..." Gripping her bag close to her Cassie looked around before she turned and ran across the street to the cafe. Quick to enter the cafe Cassie looked around the for the familiar silver hair of her closest friend. "Kai" She called out as she made her way over to the table he was sitting out.

She was a little out of breath but she just smiled as she sat down. Her worry was quick to fade away once she was in Kai presence, She was safe with him.

Kia sat at the table that was adjacent to the window, his head resting on a closed fist, that was perked up on the table by his elbow, gently stirring the tea he had just ordered. Although this technically made him an easier target, he had men inside and outside the building working as undercover guards. He had come here many times with Lysander and now he came here every week with Cassie. Although they hadn't seen each other for a while he knew that it was for the best, if she could get into that school then everything would be easier. He could spend more time focusing on his work and his plan and make time for Cassie in different ways, such as attending her presentations when he could find the spare time.

Despite what had happened with Lysander. He knew that he would always look out for Cassie, after all..

"Hey Kai, what's up? You seem to be in a weird mood today." The voice smiled from across the table gently feeling a thud on his arm from a gently punch to bring him back to reality.

"Oh nothing, I was just wondering how long it would be until this gang war is over." Kia smiled and then looked towards the male chuckling slightly. His head resting on a closed fist, that was perked up on the table by his elbow. His other hand gently stirring the now cold tea that was in front of him.

"Hopefully soon, with this new information you can stop their weapon importing.." There was a brief moment of silence before the male spoke again. "Kia, you're my best friend. If anything happens to me I want you to look after my.."

"Kia" He heard the voice of his friend. Looking up to see Cassie he smiled and then stood up, and smiled at the femme who was coming his way to sit in the chairs they always sat in. "Cassie Martin, long time no see. How have you been?" He chuckled as he sat down, he made a signal over to the waiter for another cup of tea for Cassie. Once sat the male rested his elbows on the arms of his chair, intertwining his fingers with one another like something a evil mastermind would do when consulting the hero.

He examined the girl who seemed to be out of breath and then looked at his watch. 19:30, she must have been running late and decided to run. Although something else seemed off she has been late before and run yet never looked like this. Almost like she was distressed, although he thought best not to ask about this after all if she wanted to tell him she would. After they had both gotten comfortable the waiter would bring over a piping hot cup of tea and place it before her, alongside a small pot of milk and a mason jar filled with sugar. Then the waiter quickly retreated.

After everything Kia lifted up his tea and smiled taking a sip and looking directly towards Cassie. Cold.

"Cassie Martin, long time no see. How have you been?"
Cassie just smiled at Kai, he was always so formal with her. She had told him it wasn't necessary and she would break him out of the habbits sometimes but most of the time it was always the same. But she didn't mind, it had become a part of Kai that made him special. He was one of the only people that actually treated her like an adult and listened to what she wanted. The only other person who had ever did that was Lysander,,,

"I've been good, just studying. You'll be glad to hear that I successfully finished as one of the top of my class." Cassie said before she looked to the waiter who brought over her tea. Smiling, she nodded her thanks to the man before she started to mix some milk and sugar into her drink. "Other then that only a few minor things have happened after graduation. I took the MIG University entrance exams, I've decided to finally move out of my parents...oh and my birthday" She listed off the things like it was nothing but was sure to rush pass the part about her parents. Kai was no stranger to the topic of how Cassie felt about her parents.

But her plan was to distract Kai before he could comment on her whole moving situation with her acceptance letter. Cassie pulled up her bag that she had hanging on the back of her chair and started to shift through the contents in it. What...Where was it? Cassie searching became a little more frantic before she froze. That's right, she had it in her hand earlier when she was heading to the cafe. "I must of dropped it when..." She muttered to herself lowly as she remembered what had happened before she arrived. She wanted nothing more then to go look for it but she didn't want to worry Kai.

Cassie looked up Kai and just smiled. "I also got into MIG University." She stated happily, she would just look for it on her way back home. Even though she had wanted to show him the paper it wasn't worth worrying him over the whole incident. Kai had already did so much for her and she hated feeling like a burden.

Meanwhile at the Scarlet Scorpion Hangout

Damien leaned back in one of the many couches and watched as some of the members were celebrating around the bar. Today the gang had came a little closer to taking middle island. They had been slowly taking control some of the local businesses so that when the right time came they could over run the whole island. Now it wasn't the greatest achievement but it was good for morale to let the crew cut loose once in a while.

"Boss."
Damien looked up from one his drink to see one of the men that had been posted for patrol of middle walking up to him. "I really hope for your sake you're not stupid enough to bring me bad news on one of the rare nights i'm enjoying myself." He said as he placed his cup down on the table in front of him. The man simply step forward and handed him a crumpled envelope. Damien looked at the man skeptically before he read over the name the letter was addressed to. "So Cassie Martin had been accepted to MIG University" Smirking, Damien looked at the man in front of him. "Your sure its the same girl?" There couldn't be any mistakes here, they could just go after anyone with the girl's same name.

"I saw her myself sir."
That was enough of a conformation for Damien. He had made sure that everyone had seen the girl's picture a while back when they first found out about her. "Very good work then." Damien looked back at the envelope and the address it had been sent to. "I'll be seeing you real soon Ms. Martin."

Kia sat at the table opposite the girl smiling and listening to her very closely. They hadn't seen one another for a while, and he was intrigued by what she had been up to. He had learned from previous experiences that it was best to let her blurt out everything she had to say before he replied. Plus this gave him some much needed thinking time. As she talked about being accepted into University he smiled happily glad that she would finally be able to get away from his parents, although he was concerned with her living without anyone to protect her constantly.

Once she was done he smiled and then spoke. "So you got in? I knew you would.. Although what is this about being one of the top students in your class." He chuckled as he mocked her slightly. "What happened to I am the best in my class by a mile, none of those imbeciles have any brains." He smiled and leaned back in his chair resting both of his hands behind his head. "But anyway well done for getting accepted to MIG, you will do wonders there I am sure. Although I do think we should discuss you moving out of your parents, when was this decided?" A look of anguish and worry started to cover his face.

He then sighed and sat up normally again. "Actually it doesn't matter, we can talk about it another time. I am sorry that I couldn't make it to your birthday. I brought your gift with me today." He smiled and then reached down under the table before pulling out a small box that was neatly wrapped with princess wrapping paper. Just as he went to hand over the present a vibration started in his pocket. Placing the present down he pulled his phone out and looked at it, before putting it on silent and waiting for the ringer to stop calling "Sorry about this." He apologised as he proceeded to turn his phone off. Then handing over the present to her. Inside she would find a small heart shaped locket, inside of which was a picture of Kia and Cassie that had been taken just after they first started meeting up regularly. However what he wouldn't tell her is that is doubled up as a tracking beacon incase anything were to happen he could locate her quickly.

"I know it's not much at all, but I hope that you like it. Next year I will get you something bigger and more extravagant." He smiled a bit; sad that he couldn't splash his money on her for fear of revealing his true nature and job to her. His mind wandering to who might have called him, especially when all his men knew that he should never be contacted at this hour unless it was an emergency. He probably should have taken the call he thought to himself, but he hasn't seen Cassie in a very long time, and she was his priority.

"Kia, you're my best friend. If anything happens to me I want you to look after my sister Cassie. No matter what you have to do, make sure she is never dragged into this." He would never forget his promise to the man that helped him. And to his best friend.

Cassie just smiled as she listened to Kai speak, she had really missed being able to spend time with him. "What happened to I am the best in my class by a mile, none of those imbeciles have any brains." Cassie laughed at this before she looked to Kai. "I have been trying to not brag as much. But since you decided to bring it up my test scores made the others look like children." She smirked as she leaned her elbow on the table so she could rest her head on her hand. Cassie lazily took a sip of her tea with her other hand as she smiled at Kai. Once Kai started talking about her moving out she had to resist the urge to roll her eyes at the older man.

"I've wanted to do it forever but now that I finally turned 18 there is nothing that they can do to stop me. I've followed all of their crazy ideals for to long. I just want to be able to feel like i'm my own person and live my own life." Living with Cassie's parents had always been tough on her. But it didn't really become a problem in till Lysander had left... "You really worry to much Kai. I saved up a good amount of money from part-time jobs i've had over the year. Plus the place I found is cute little studio over on southern island right next to the metro. So I won't have a problem getting to school." Now this wasn't the complete truth but it wasn't a full lie either. Cassie had saved up enough money to move and pay the rent for a month or two. But beside that she would need to get another job quickly or resort to some of the methods that Lysander had taught her. As for the area of the studio it's wasn't in one of the best areas but it was next to the metro so commuting wouldn't be to hard. Plus she already had the keys and was planning to start moving tomorrow.

Cassie was quick to drop the subject when Kai mention a present for her. She might as well enjoy skipping the lecture she was sure to come later on. Cassie eyed the small box that was wrapped in princess paper, she resisted the urge to laugh and roll her eyes all at the same time. Seriously sometimes Cassie was sure Kai thought that she was a little girl. Sometimes she wasn't sure if the man was her best friend, older brother or even her father from how he acted. Cassie was quickly brought from her thoughts at the sound of Kai's phone viberating. That was unusual, actually she couldn't remember a time that Kai's phone ever went off when they were together. "You could of took it. It's not like I command your undying attention." Cassie teased as she took the box from Kai.

"I don't need anything extravagant, I'm just happy you thought about me." She said as she processed to open the gift. Cassie gasped as she looked down at the beautifully crafted heart shaped locket. "I love it." She said as she opened the locket and stared at the picture of her and Kai. "I'll wear it all the time. Here, can you help my put it on?" She asked as she held the necklace out to Kai.

Kai Smiled at her excitement about her present, he loved the fact that she appreciated it. Although he was sad he hasn't been able to see her recently, which has killed him he knew that she needed it to be able to better her future into a good school and so forth. "Here, can you help my put it on?" Kai smiled as he gently removed himself from his chair to stand. Walking over to where she was sat and then removing the necklace off of her.

He slowly moved until he stood behind her unclasping the two ends of the chain. Just as he moved it across her chest and started to lift it around her neck he heard someone say. "Boss theirs trouble." two of his men had been sat on the table beside his for security reasons. Although he knew that this was meant for him, the two men beside him kept on going with their conversation. Kai bit his lip and tried to hold back the frustration, his mind was racing. "Who the fuck causes trouble when I am busy?!" He thought to himself. However he couldn't let Cassie know anything. He continued to pull the necklace up and then gently hooked the ends together letting the pendant fall onto her upper chest.

Kai then stood up straight, his blood boiling as he moved back to his seat and switched on his phone. Instantly his phone started vibrating, 20 new messages, 6 missed calls. He looked up at Cassie and smiled very sarcastically trying to act as though nothing was bothering. However he was never good at acting and in fact had been told he was the worst liar of all time. "Sorry can I make a phone call?" Before she could reply though he had stood up and pulled the phone to his ear. He then walked outside so no body could hear him talking, on the way out he ran a hand through his hair and gripping the back of his head.

Then the call answered, all he could here was screaming and gunfire. "Boss! Kobras are attacking headquarters. We can hold them off but we need you back here." He stopped for a second before responding "Why are they attacking?! They have nothing over us!" He growled and then hung up shoving his phone into his pocket he marched back into the café. Once he got to the table he sighed and grabbed his jacket and looked at Cassie. "Hey, I am sorry I am gonna have to cut our meeting short this week. Someone at the office forgot how to use the printer and the boss wants me in to help. Idiots the lot of them." He chuckled as he looked at her saddened that he had to go.

It wasn't long after that he had said goodbye and then ran out of the café, running down the street and then a moment later the two men who had been sat at the table beside Kai and Cassie has stood and run out of the café and down the same street. As Kia ran up to the car a few others with things such as snipers and small machine guns came close to him. They all piled into the same car and quickly sped off.

0170f221744b635ada3dc8d235c6e79b.jpg

The Kobras' were one of the smaller gangs in the lower island. They had little over 20 members, yet each member was unique and highly versatile. They were a threat, and had been eyeing up the Wolves for a few months. But now that they had made their move, there would be hell to pay. Back at the wolves base they had been kept inside the building with the Kobra's attacking from the front. As Kia's car skidded around the corner this became obvious, they had three cars parked in the gateway.

The headquarters was at one end of the road and Kia's car the other. He pulled a sniper off one of the men who had been sat beside him. "OPEN THE ROOF!" He barked as the driver pressed a button the sun roof folding back as Kia slid out of the hole and set up the bi-pod on the roof of the car. "Everyone else get out, Ryan when I fire. Drive full speed at their cars and ram them." Everyone nodded and got out of the car pulling out their various weapons ready to fight.

Kia looked down his scope his breathing becoming rapid. All of the Kobras' had found safety in the front garden hiding behind various objects. Kai finally got the Kobras' leader Jons' son Moriarty in his sight. He gritted his teeth and slowly spoke. "Now you pay.." Pulling the trigger, the gun blasted a bullet out and the wheels on the car started to skid on the tarmac before speeding down the road. Kia pulled himself back in the vehicle and fastened his seatbelt. The men who had got out of the car started to run down the road behind the car.

3... 2... 1... 0.

Cassie smiled down at the necklace. "I absolutely love it." Cassie was still admiring her gift when Kai quickly excused himself. That was weird, Kai was never one to run off during their meeting. Shrugging, Cassie quickly pulled out her cell phone and took a picture of herself sporting her new gift. She couldn't help but smile more as she looked over the picture. Yeah this might of been a little but childish, but hey Kai wasn't here to see it.

"Hey, I am sorry I am gonna have to cut our meeting short this week. Someone at the office forgot how to use the printer and the boss wants me in to help. Idiots the lot of them."

Cassie looked up from her phone to Kai and pouted. "I guess it can't be helped. Same time next week then." She was definitely not happy about their meeting ending so quickly. But Cassie didn't like to be selfish especially if it involved Kai. He did so much for her already that she wasn't willing to lose his friendship over anything stupid. "I need to finish packing anyway." Cassie said as she was quick to stand and give her friend a quick hug goodbye before she sat back down. She would sit and drink her tea for a bit before she headed back to her parents house. It was always much easier to go back in after the two were asleep. If she went now Cassie was sure they would find something to complain about.

Cassie had become really good at hiding things from them. It had became necessary since Lysander had left. They felt like giving him so much freedom is what caused him to stray and become the disgrace of their family. So of course Cassie wasn't allowed any freedom in least she made it herself. During any of her part-time jobs they had thought she was at cram school or tutoring. Honestly, her parents didn't even know she was moving out yet. Cassie had been keeping it to herself and moving small amounts out at a time when they weren't home or sleeping. Tonight would be the last night before everything she was taking with her was properly moved. Hopefully she could complete it properly without any drama being started.

It was another 20 minutes before Cassie decided to leave the cafe and head home. Once outside of the warm cafe, Cassie quickly tightened her jacket around to try and stay warm. "It's starting to get chilly." Cassie muttered before she started to walk towards her parents. The walk wasn't long it was only about 15 minutes from the Cafe. The time was about quarter till 9 and the lights seemed to be off in the house. She made her way up the front steps and was about to unlock the door when she noticed it slightly opened.

"What the..." Cassie slowly pushed the door opened before she stepped into the dark house. "Mom...Dad" She called out quietly as she tried to flip on one of the light switches. Nothing. Cassie pulled out her phone, once the small screen lite up she shined it around the room. She was quick to make her way to the small stand not to far from the door. She opened the drawer and grabbed a flashlight that her father had always kept there in case of outages. Cassie had always told him it was stupid. This was Haven, middle island at that and nothing ever really went wrong there.

But that wasn't true anymore, now was it?

Cassie slowly made her way into the living room, scanning the room with the light it looked normal. Maybe she was just freaking out for no reason? Cassie sighed turned the flashlight off and started to make her way upstairs to her room. Now she would of done this with no problem if she hadn't noticed the voices coming from her parents room. Cassie quietly made her way over to the creaked door and peered in.

"Now i'll ask you one last time. Where is the girl? And I better get a good response or this time i'm done playing."
Cassie stood there frozen as she looked in, her mother and father were both on the ground looking pretty beat up. While three men, or she assumed men from their body structure but the only light being what came in through the window made it hard to tell.

"I told you she's probably out studying somewhere. Unlike you filth she has a future!" Cassie's father growled out.
"Wrong answer old man." One of the men said before he held up a gun and shot it. The sound was deafening and Cassie was sure if it wasn't for that and her mother's scream. The men would of heard Cassie cry out. "Why are you doing this?! Is it because of Lysander?!" Her mother cried out as she looked at her father's lifeless body.

"Maybe so...But I don't get paid to ask questions I just do what i'm told. Boss wants the girl and we'll kill everyone that gets in our way." With that said Cassie watched as he aimed the gun at her mother. Not being able to watch anymore, Cassie ran down the hall and shut her door just as another gun shot rung out. She bit back her sobs as she leaned against her door. Why was this happening? Why did they want her! No she didn't have time for this! Cassie ran over to her bed grabbed the two bags that she'd had waiting and ran over to her window. The window was right above the porch owning and Cassie had use to sit out there with Lysander all the time. It had been their special place but now it was her only way of escape. She tossed out the bags before she climbed out. Once out she shut the window, threw the bags to the ground and gripped the edge of the owning to lower herself. She had grabbed the post for better support but it shifted and she lost her balance.

"Ouch" Cassie winced as she hit the ground, though she didn't allow herself the time to recover from it. She got up grabbed her bags and started running. Once Cassie made it to the metro station and was waiting for a train to come to take her from middle to southern island. Her adrenaline was starting to wear off, she wanted nothing more then to fall to the ground an cry but she couldn't. So instead she tried calling Kai but no matter how many times she did there was no answer. "Kai, Please call me! Something bad has happened and I don't know what to do. I'm scared." Cassie had tried to say this calmly but she knew she sounded a mess. This whole situation was a mess! For now though Cassie's main thought was to get to her apartment and hid out there. No on knew about it accept Kai and he didn't even know where on South island it was.

"The train to South island is now approaching." Rang out over the speakers.

With the males head exploding and the body of the leaders son falling to the floor, blood oozing from his once whole head. The attackers turned around to look over there cars, seeing a vehicle speeding towards them and their escape at full speed. A Couple of them ran towards their own cars to dry and move them and escape the others turned their attention to the car bombarding it with gunfire. With a few still firing towards the wolves head quarters. Kia was still sat in the back seat, he took deep breaths holding the sniper in his hand. Bullets bouncing off the armoured vehicle, a couple of bullets zooming past his head. As the approached Kia braced the recovery position.

Just as the few that ran to their vehicles reached their beloved machines they were forced to jump to the side. Their cars, being flipped and thrown to the side as Kia's car spun into the driveway. Immediately all the Kobra's turned their attention to it bombarding it with as much fire power as they could output. However they slowly were sniped off or gun downed by other members of the wolves from either side of the crossfire.

After a minute or two Kia slipped out of his car, pulling out his Smith and Wesson 500 Magnum revolver from the car door he kept their for emergencies. On the left side it was engraved elegantly with his name. He moved and closed the door, turning and instantly pulling the trigger two falling down. The shining silver from the stainless steel barrel glistened in the sunlight.

He then looked around to see everyone was already dead and he'd missed the fun. The blood of all his advisories covering the grass and white roses, turning them red. He smiled as he slowly started to patrol, flipping over the corpses and making sure that they were gone. Every now and again you would see a small twitch as the last nervous signals were sent from the brain. Causing one of the men to fire their gun as a safety precaution. The other wolves moving around the front garden now.

After a minute or two; he found one person... alive.

Their body was distorted, their legs crushed under the car that had flipped onto them. Blood drooling softly onto the ground from his thighs that were still visible. The male in question was trying to hold back all his pain and shock, his hands gripping his legs and the car like he was trying to pull himself free of the wreckage that had claimed his body. His hands had turned red from his blood and he had managed to tear some of the muscle off, however was unable to break the bones that held him hostage.

As Kia approached him he smiled, "I am surprised you haven't passed out from shock." He chuckled as he crouched a meter or so away from his enemy. His magnum in his right hand, being held limply and gently pointing to the floor. The males head rotated like a broken puppets his eyes bloodshot, he spat blood over Kia's face. Kia sighed and wiped the blood from his face. "You can still live if you are willing to talk to me.." His eyes rolled as he already knew the males answer. As the male spoke he spat blood at Kia with every word. "Go To Hell You Bastard!" The males words said with as much hate and spite that he could manage. Kia merely shook his head. "I would say I was hoping you'd say that.. But that is too cliché.." At that very instant the male grabbed the pistol that was just to his right opposite side of the male to Kia.

He turned and spat blood once more, pulling the trigger as he did. Then a gunshot rippled through the garden. As the wolves came running over Kia was looking down at the male who then let out a shriek of pain, his gun and half his hand on the floor beside him. Kia's gun pointed forward, smoke drifting from the barrel. "..So how about this.." Kia stood and then stood by the males head. "..I already belong to hell, and I will greet you there."

Kia gritted his teeth, lifting his right foot before stamping down on the males head. He repeated the movement a few dozen times. The first few the male beneath him tried to move his hands to stop him. Every time he moved his hands Kia shot one of his legs. Eventually the struggles stopped and the man was now just a body, yet Kia continued to stamp his small platforms into the males ever breaking face again and again relentlessly. It was a while before he stopped and stood over his victim, blood and other bodily parts covering his shoe that rested inches away from the mutilated and crushed face of the man he'd killed.

He stood looking down panting slightly. He then lifted his head and turned around to see a third of his men and a few of the children watching with their eyes glued to the body. The kids trying to hold back their screams. Kia looked over their faces, nothing about him showed even a tad bit of remorse, although all the humanity had left him. He then opened his mouth and spoke in a soft tone. "Let's get this all cleared up and then get back to work yeah?" He smiled softly, everyone's faces even more in shock about his reaction to them. Before they nodded and scattered.

As they moved away he heard a few people mumbling to each other about him and he sighed. Then pulling out his phone:
16 Missed Calls
1 New Voicemail
He proceeded to listen to the voicemail, although she sounded okay, but he could tell by the tone of her voice that she had just witnessed something as traumatic; as he had performed. He then called back almost immediately. "Pick up.. Pick up.." He started to pace around watching everyone else slowly move the vehicles and bodies inside the building where they would be dealt with in a slightly more humane way than he had dealt with the male.

"Pick up Cassie, please pick up..."

Kuma District, Located on the border of Southern Island.

Cassie's apartment was in the Kuma district, it was known for being one of the lower grade areas on southern island. But Cassie couldn't be picky when she needed a place low enough that she could pay for a couple months in advance with the money she had saved. So she took what she could find closest to the metro station. So that commuting to middle island for school would at least be easier. Though right now none of that mattered....

Cassie laid curled up on her bed in the dark of her apartment. She felt so broken...the whole ride from middle to southern island she had felt like everything had crumbled. Maybe this was what being in shock felt like? Cassie wasn't sure, all she knew was that it felt like her mind was screaming out for help. But nothing was listening to it, her body just like it had shut down as she laid there curled in a ball. The only thing that Cassie had been able to do before scumming to her body's shutdown was call the police. She had anonymously called from a payphone stating that she had heard gunshots and screaming from her parents address. That was all she said before she hung up...She didn't even claim them as her parents. She had pretended that she was a complete stranger...

Cassie curled farther into herself as she tried to push away the horrifying memories that kept flashing before her eyes. Why had this happened? No, she knew the answer to that. It had happened because they were looking for her. This was all her fault! She should of spoke up when she first saw the men and heard them asking about her. She could of saved her parents...but now it was to late. Their blood was on her hands.

Cassie gripped her hair in frustration, she should of did something!

Suddenly the room lit up and the low rumble of Cassie's cellphone vibrating on the floor next to the bed filled the room. She ignored the phone for the longest in till it became apparent whoever was calling her was going to continue to keep calling. Cassie growled to herself before she forced her body out of the tight fetal position she had been in. Grabbing the phone, Cassie squinted her eyes at the bright light coming off of her cell. Kai. She stared at the name displayed across the screen. What was she going to tell him? She couldn't tell him the truth could she? If she did he would want to help her and the man had said that they would kill everyone to get to her. Even though Cassie knew Kai wouldn't care about any of that she couldn't be the reason he died to.

"Kai..I need you. I don't know what to do."

None of that mattered right now though all Cassie wanted was to see Kai and try to forget this whole thing. She needed her best friend, she needed to feel safe...Even if it would only be temporary. Cassie didn't stay on the phone long. All she needed to do was give Kai her address and she knew he was on his way. She could her the worry in his voice the whole time they had been on the phone. She had tried to sound alright but she knew if there was anyone who could see through her facade it was Kai. Cassie had wanted to get up and make some tea so that there would be some for Kai when he arrived. But she still couldn't find the will to completely get out of her bed yet. SO for now she just laid on her bed and clutched her phone as she waited for Kai.
