Untouched

A young girl hummed as she walked around a decent sized shop. She was moving things around and fixing things and making sure everything was okay. For this was her store and she wanted it to look nice before she opened it for business.

She was just sweeping the floor when "Allison!" was shouted. Stopping what she was doing, she turned to face a little boy who was rushing in, carrying a bag. "I was able to get everything."

Allison smiled as she placed the broom up before accepting the bag. It was silent as she stared inside the bag, eyes calculating, making sure that everything she asked for was in there. With a grin, she rested her gaze on the little boy, who was grinning back. She reached for his hair and ruffled it when her hand made contact with it. "Good job, kiddo! As promised, once I close shop, I'll go buy you some treats." The little boy cheered. "Now, run along. I'm sure you have other things you want to do." With that, the little boy was on his way.

Allison went back to sweeping once he was gone. When she finally finished, she took one last look around her shop before deciding that it was timebto open. Putting away the broom so it was out of sight, she made her way to the door and changed the sign from 'Closed' to 'Open'. The young teen went back behind the counter and began to wait patiently for her first customer of the day.

Mryllica casually strolled into town, her hair still damp from her morning swim. Her rough linen bag bounced on her shoulder, causing the contents to make a small clinking sound with each step she took. Today was the day she had to go into town to buy materials so that she could do her enchanting. Only a third of the items in her shop are imported, otherwise it's all enchantment she does herself. She took pride in her work, even though she mostly only did temporary enchantment. Permanent enchants took a lot of energy and overwhelming amounts of supplies. She'd go out of business too quick with those kinds of investments.

Unfortunately for Mryllica, when she arrived at the usual shop, the windows were bear and the inside looked dark. Mryllica knocked on the door, but there wasn't an answer. "Hello? Mr. Markenson? Are you there?" Still, no answer.
"Mr. Markenson moved to another town a few months ago," said a little boy who was passing by. Mryllica blushed in embarrassment, feeling foolish having knocked on the door of a vacant house. "But," continued the boy, "there is an alchemist down the road. Her name is Allison. I just delivered some supplies to her."
Mryllica smiled gently and crouched down to meet his gaze. [BCOLOR=#000000]"Can you take me to her?" He nodded happily and mentioned his hand for Mryllica to follow.[/BCOLOR]

After Kevin had captured and brought the elves to the Queen, he was taking a stroll through the streets. He noticed a young woman knocking on the door of a empty house and walked up to her as she was following after a kid. "Hello. Do you need any help?"

(Only did this because Gamer didn't post yet.)

Finding herself bored Athena pulled out her list to make sure she had everything she needed as she went down she realized she was missing something. Athena looked back and sighed she had had a wolf decide it wanted a piece of her and her flank had got the worst of it. Asking around she got directions to an alchemy shop. Hoping she could get a salve for her wounds and maybe a couple spells to make her traps more attractive to her prey. So walking down the street she headed to the shop.

Bella stretched her arms with a yawn then looked at SweetBlood and Doloras she walked forward "I'd like to go to the market, I like looking at the trinkets and thinks from around the world." She said with a smile she took Doloras hand "Come on, let's see if we can't find you something special!" Bella loved spending time with her people, they were each like children to her. Sometimes they misbehaved and that was okay they just need sometime in time out. At least thats how she saw it, she knew there were high hopes that soon she'd find someone to call the king but she wasn't in a hurry. Sometimes people would bring their children to Bella asking if she'd honor them with marriage, she'd smile and tell them that it wouldn't be true love in less she found it herself.

Mryllica stopped and blinked, surprised by the second offer of help. The child continued to walk, completely unaware that she had stopped following him. Mryllica looked the kitsune over, "If I had known the people here were so willing to help people in need, I'd come here more often." She giggled at her own attempt of humor, but then nervously coughed it away and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Well, I used to come here to buy supplies for my enchantments, but it seems my vendor has moved away. You wouldn't happen to know anywhere else I could get my hands on some supplies, would you? You know; fairy dust, fire salts, hagraven feathers?"

"I might. It's right down the street I think." He said, and started running to where he pointed at, his three tails waving behind him.

Mryllica stood still for just a moment as the kitsune bolted down the opposite direction. She began to wonder if anyone else was going to come and try to show her the way, but let out a small sigh and followed him at her own pace. "So, where exactly are you taking me?" Mryllica questioned in a friendly tone. She'd feel ridiculous if the dark-haired kitsune led her to the same exact place as the little boy. Either of them could have just as easily simply given her directions than exhausted themselves trying to show her the way. But, she shoved that thought out of mind; she was grateful there were so many helpful people in the town.

The young man soon stopped in front of a store, opening the door for her. It was across the street from where the little boy was headed.

Mryllica thanked him for opening the door as she entered. She looked around the shop and was pleasantly surprised that most of the materials she needed were there. The shop was smaller than the one she was used to, and there was an odd smell of sulfur that bothered the siren, but not enough to think anything of it. The old woman who ran the shop was nice enough. She had thin, curly white hair and sunken eyes that could tell entire epics. She was one of those fragile looking people where it seemed like if you touched them they might just crumble apart. Though, her hearing was fading and Mryllica had to repeat herself several times to the woman.

"Dragon's Tongue. Do you have any Dragon's Tongue?" She relayed to the woman once again.
"Ragan's Mung? Why in the heavens would you want that?" The old lady squawked back, years of aging emanating in her tone.
Mryllica sighed, "No, I don't-- You know, Dragon's Tongue? The herb? It's used to prevent burns?"
The lady looked at her with a long, blank stare communicating that she still didn't understand. Mryllica shook her head and waved her hand in defeat. "I'll just take everything else, thank you."

After the woman wrapped up all of her items, Mryllica looked into the bag slightly disappointed that she couldn't make out with everything she needed. Nevertheless, as she exited the store and saw the bright-eared kitsune once again she put on a humble smile. [BCOLOR=#000000]"Thank you for showing me the way. That was very kind of you," she spoke with a pleasant tone.[/BCOLOR]

"I can bring you around town if you didn't find everything you needed..." He said, smiling at the somewhat of a compliment.

The blue-haired siren giggled. "You don't have to take me on a shopping trip. I can probably just find some growing outside of town. I'm sure you probably have better things to do than go on a shopping spree with me."

"Not really. I'm a mercenary, but this is such a little thing, and you're such a cute girl, I won't take money from you. No one else seems to need me..." He mumbled, looking around, then smiling at her. "Nothing else to do."

Allison was in her cat form as she roamed around her store. A few customers had come in and were surprised by how young Allison was. She just smiled. New customers were always surprised at her age, but, after a while, they got used to it and were just in awe that she had a successful shop at age 16.

She caught a mouse's tail with her paw, dragging it closer to her. She gently picked it up in her mouth, not wantinf to kill it. Padding towards the door, she poked her head through the cat opening that was made and set the mouse free, watching it scurry away. With that, she slipped back into her store, waiting for something exciting to happen.

Mryllica gave him a sweet smile and let out a soft, friendly laugh at the kitsune. "What a gentleman," she remarked with a tilt of her head. "There are only two things left that I need; Dragon's Tongue, which is a herb, not an actual tongue, and silvershine polish. After that I'll be all done." She rustled through her bag to make sure she had everything.

In the corner of her eye, something caught her interest. It was quick, almost unnoticeable, but Mryllica didn't miss it. She gasped, "Is that a cat?! Did that cat just poke it's head out of a cat door on that shop?" Mryllica didn't know what made her happier: the fact that the shop owner had a cat, or that they actually installed a cat door for it. Her magenta eyes lit up and a childish grin took its place on her face. She looked back at the kitsune, "You don't know how lucky you are you can have cats on land. All we have are catfish under the sea. They aren't nearly as cuddly. Just take my word for it."

Biting her lip, she decided that she had to go visit the kitty, but she didn't abandon her gracious escort. "Let's go visit the kitten, hmm, Mr. Kitsune?"

"Of course. Please though, call me Kevin." He said, walking with her to where the cat had been. He opened the shop door and moved aside, allowing her in with a small bow.

Allison's ears perked up as she heard the familiar jingle of the bell located above the entrance, indicating someone had come in. She ran to the back of the shop, shifting back to her human form. Slipping on some clothes, she came out, going to the counter.

With a grin, she greeted the newcomers. "Hello! My name's Castle. Allison Castle. How may I help you?" She's never seen them around here before. She let her eyes roam over the Siren and the Kitsune. She's never seen a pair like them either. It made her grin grow wider.

"Mryllica," the blue haired siren returned her introduction. She smiled before her eyes searched and seized the store, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Castle." She span in a complete circle looking the store over before she met Allison's gaze again. A disappointed look washed over her face as she put her hand on her hips and slouched to one side. "I swore I saw a kitten earlier. Do you not own a kitten Ms. Castle? Not that you alone aren't exciting, I just..." She trailed off, not exactly sure how she was planning on ending that sentence. With furrowed eyebrows and a tilted head, Mryllica stood completely confounded.

"I can find you a kitten for free, if you would like." Kevin said happily to Mryllica, watching her disappointment. "I know a woman that is about to die, and she wants to give away her kitten that she had recently bought. She's also giving away a half bag of cat food, and a mouse on a string."

Allison wrinkled her nose at the title 'Ms. Castle'. It made her sound a lot older than what she was. "Please, call me Allison. Ms. Castle makes me sound old," she pleaded. When Mryllica mentioned a kitten, she couldn't help grinning in a mischievous way. One that resembled the Cheshire Cat off of Alice in Wonderland.

"I don't own a cat, but," She paused for a dramatic effect. "I am one," she stated. They must have saw her when she poked her head outside of the cat door. She listened to the kitsune's suggestion, watching as he tried to cheer up Mryllica.
