Since Ceru picked first (as well as PoS choosing the last set of facts), go right ahead and get your three facts up! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Welcome aboard Of Dirt! For those who haven't been caught up on the Skype chat, this was the GM of a previous roleplay Iz, Perry, Ryver and I were in and I look forward in seeing what you will bring to the table.

General Bio
Name: Thea 'Teddy' Palmer
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'7", colourful clothes and animated expression.

Superpower
Name of ability: Enhanced Visual Response
Description: Teddy can process what she's seeing more readily than most humans. Her flicker fusion threshold is high enough that moving things don't blur as readily and she can focus faster on whatever she's looking at. The world seems slower to her than it does to everyone else, because she can keep track of faster objects.

Level one abilities: At this point, she has a flicker fusion threshold roughly 2x higher than most other humans. She can track thrown or falling objects further along in their trajectory without losing sight of them and observe more details from one blink to the next. Her eyes can adapt quickly to small changes in lighting, although extreme light/dark changes leave her peripheral vision compromised for several minutes. Any quick motion around her is more likely to distract her, and the flickering of old lights can give her a headache.
Level three abilities: Augmented flicker fusion to roughly 3x that of other humans. She could keep track of a fruit fly if she wanted to… Her colour and depth perception are a little sharper during the day, but while she can see motion just as readily in the dark, she'll have a much harder time seeing anything staying still, even if she was just looking at it. The speed with which she is seeing and observing things is too fast for her to react to, and she would be slow by her standards. She'll still get headaches from most indoor lighting, unless it's very new, as it has a strobing effect, and any electrical screens, monitors(computers, phones) are harder to read. She also needs more food to keep her energy up, as the optical nerves and occipital lobe are using up more of it at a faster rate than her body is used to.
Level five abilities: Her reflex arc is caught up with her perception of movement and she can now react in conjunction with her visual observations. In other words, her reaction time is significantly shorter. While her body still cannot move any faster than a regular human, the commands to move are processed faster. She also has less difficulty seeing in the dark, though it still isn't fully back to what it used to be.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:] She'll get headaches from most old indoor lighting and even using computers or ipads or iphones too much. Fast movements are distracting to her and the dimmer the lighting, the harder she finds it to make out details.

History
History: Thea, she really does prefer Teddy, T-Bear if you want to get absolutely technical in your translation, grew up Deaf. She is proud of her heritage and of her parents' accomplishments and doesn't really see being deaf as a disability. She will acknowledge that it can be frustrating to be deaf in a hearing world, but sees no reason to think she's missing anything. Both of her parents are Deaf, most of her aunts and uncles and cousins are Deaf, many of her friends are Deaf. Her brother is only hard of hearing though, which he says is the worst of the deal, since he's neither nor. Needless to say, she's grown up in an environment where she wasn't the only one. So, she never really felt left out or different. Not to say that she's never had problems, or felt discriminated against, or been upset with someone else's opinion, family or otherwise, but for the most part, she's had a supportive and comfortable upbringing.

She went to a Deaf school during elementary, and took up gymnastics at her parents' urgings in the hopes that she wouldn't suffer her mother's dizzy spells. Or something. Actually, they might have been hoping that she'd just figure out how to keep her balance if she did wind up inheriting those, too. She's never been clear on the issue because it's been an age since they needed to explain it to her. She took to the sport like a fish to water and never looked back, so they didn't need any other reason to keep her in it. Brad, though most people call him Brat, took gymnastics for a little bit, though he prefers swimming these days. She did gymnastics all the way through middle school too, but her interest in it sort of petered out when her coach kept trying to get her to go farther in her competitions. She's a competitive girl when it means proving she can do it, but once she knows it's possible, she doesn't really see the point in putting herself through all that tension. She's recently begun taking up parkour instead. A different sort of athletic outlet…

After elementary, she did ask to switch into public school. That was her decision to experience the hearing world like other kids got to. She's never sure if she regrets it or not. She made new friends, definitely, but there's a big divide between what her parents see as acceptable, and what she thought was cool, and now she's got two different sets of friends she has to balance sometimes. She's grown up in a technological age where communicating isn't quite as difficult as it used to be. Her parents think she relies on her phone too much these days, they might be right, she's never apart from it, but she likes the equality of everyone texting everyone else. No middleman. They've gotten into fights about it, neither side entirely certain what they're advocating, whether or not her parents are trying to be traditional or just parents who don't want their kid spending all her time on her phone. And they aren't sure if she's using the phone as a crutch or just being the average teenager with her eyes glued to the screen. Brat just calls them all bonkers and doesn't get involved or someone might notice how often he's playing video games.

With only a month left before she graduates, Teddy's main focus recently has been studying and considering her options for the future. She's still not entirely certain what she wants to do, but she has a few ideas.
The day before the bus ride: She had a song stuck in her head. Mostly just the rhythm, and she couldn't quite remember how the song went and it had been in her head all day. It was driving her mad. So, she was taking the chance while the bus carried her on her merry way to a friend's to see if she couldn't drum out the beat into something a little more recognisable than what her mind had already come up with. If worst came to worst, maybe Dana could help her, she remembered just enough of the words to maybe not be told that it was like a hundred other songs out there. Otherwise, she was doomed. Doooooomed.

Of course, having a song stuck in her head really wasn't the worst that could happen. She could have been all over bothered about getting a bad grade in her algebra test on Monday, and there was a good chance she might… She'd put off studying until this weekend and was putting it off again to spend Friday evening with Dana, who also, incidentally, was avoiding study. She felt a little guilty about it, but was hoping that they might get some review in while they entertained each other and maybe then she'd know just how screwed she was. So, yeah, focusing on that earworm was better than thinking about that. Right?

Drumming her fingers on her knees and surreptitiously signing the words one handed in what amounted to a whisper, she gave the woman across from her(who was looking rather confused by her antics) a sunny smile and carried right on trying to figure it out. She'd gone home after school to drop off her bag and grab her pjs, and toothbrush and let her parents know that she was hoping to sleep over. She had her phone if they wanted to text and yes, she'd leave it on and keep it to hand the whole time and if the plans changed she'd let them know, but otherwise they'd see her around noon tomorrow. They'd asked for Dana's number too, a precaution she'd been a little leery about, since Dana probably didn't want her parents texting her whenever they'd lost track of their kid. But it wasn't an unreasonable request, so she gave in after a moment more of thinking about it. They only wanted her safe. She… well, she liked being safe. No objections there.

When her stop came, she hopped off with a wave to the driver, even if he might not be able to see her through the crowded aisle, and skipped two steps down the sidewalk before jumping to swing on a tree branch up and over a very cracked paving stone and then jogging the half block to Dana's. Ringing the doorbell once she also knocked in case it wasn't working, then peeked through the window and waved at Dana's mum who let her in with a smile and pointed upstairs. She thanked her for the direction and then thumped her way up to Dana's bedroom door to tackle the girl with her song complaint and notion that they ought to go out running before dinner, because she wanted a right proper appetite to eat whatever it was her mum was cooking. It smelled good!

General Bio
Name:Frid Adalwolf
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Usual appearance along with the barely visible(In this image) shaved head.

Superpower
Name of ability: Cosmic Tethering
Description: Theories of cosmology have indicated that that objects that have once come in contact with each other will become tethered by a cosmic string. While this is invisible to the naked eye, and practically impossible to prove given current technology, it stands as a basis to Frid's power.

Level one abilities: He is unable to consciously trigger his ability. It may trigger itself in extreme cases, such as heightened adrenaline, pangs of panic or downright debilitating cases of rage. While this is the least controllable version, it is also one of the most accurate.

Level three abilities: At this point, through concentration, he becomes able to sense the Tethers and has the capability of consciously pulling on them. One at a time mind you, the universe is not lax enough to give way to someone playing too many of its strings at the same time or in quick succession. Fatigue mental or otherwise will render him unable to consciously pull any object. As the ability is not fully developed he cannot decipher what each Tether binds, but the ones he senses are all more or less helpful in the situation at hand.

Level five abilities: Frid's ability awakens to it's fullest. He becomes able to see and decipher individual Tethers. This allows him to pull most any item he wants, as long he is capable of holding it up one handed. One could say that his ability resembles that of a "spatial pocket" at this moment.

Weakness/drawback: Starting level one pulling on the Tethers is like pulling on the fabrics of the universe itself. This action becomes increasingly difficult for objects he does not own. Pulling items that he only had a brief contact would be like reeling in a shark with a river fishing rod. This remains unchanged for all levels of his power. So no going into a bank vault and touching all the gold bricks too pull em home later. (Thou theoretically if he should own a gold brick and build a strong Tether to it, he should be able to recover it after selling it).

Tethers are not eternal, while they will not break for items that he owns(bought or received makes no matter), others disappear as the objects themselves are forgotten. Also as previously stated in case of pulling on a relatively weak Tether it may break, causing a recoil against Frid(Similar to an elastic breaking...poor bloke).

Level Three allows only sensing of potential beneficial Tethers. This does by no means mean that the Tether is strong enough to be pulled. Or that the object is that that he hoped for. Leave it to him to reach for a stun gun but to end flabbergasted as he takes out a blackjack...

History
History: His first experience with free climbing was in his first year of high-school. But should we return to the origins of this hobby we would find a over passionate father that took his son on every hiking path within a couple hundred miles of NYC. At the age of ten Frid was signed up at the local mountain climbing club and soon reached to top of his age limit. But while all this was fun, it felt more like a constriction then the real deal. Thus we return to high school a few years later where a original way to ditch class was created. On that day he brought with him his climbing gloves since his classroom was on the third floor. Slipping out the window he moved across the window sills jumping from one window to another then finally to the drainage pipe. Climbing down was quite fatiguing but not to the point one would fall of, especially one trained in climbing. Everything working perfectly, well almost, since some feet of the ground a shriek broke his concentration and fell of. It seemed that one of the teacher had spotted him and panicking shrieked and caught the attention of the whole school. Harsh punishment awaited him, and he took it head high, he had finally found his way of climbing, "Ropes are for sissies" Became his motto for many years to come.

The day before the bus ride:
Frid stood in front of an aging mahogany desk. His balding boss was site across with Frid's letter as lecture. The young man had just resigned for one of the craziest reason he had ever seen. To resign because he was refused a prolonged leave of absence, to go rock climbing to boot..."This is crazy!" Said the old man with a tone of irritation. "You're a grown man...you...you mean that you'd rather quit this job." He had started his work just some time ago, well the reason he did start his job on the other hand was to gain the money he needed for this expedition. "To go and loose your self in some mountain range?" the boss continued. Frid had already been listening to this old man's ranting for some minutes now, with his head bowed as if he'd been sorry. But it was time to put an end to this, with a mocking smile on his face he retorted "Yeah, that's right. Who the hell do you think likes to work for you?" He took a deep breath of air just enough to let his boss feel he had a chance to talk again, and continued. "You know what the difference between a mountain and a so called corporate ladder? A mountain always has a crevasse or two to which you can hang on as you climb up. But a company stops having such things after a certain point, you just get stuck in the middle of the mountain with no way to go up or down." With that he turns towards the door and steps out of the office slamming it shut. From inside the chiefs office everyone could hear him screaming that he'd never work in this state ever again. Consequently that suited him just fine as he had no intentions of returning to the States. This was only the first of several fights he'd have today, since he didn't announce anyone of his plans.

Tomorrow he would board a plane headed to Europe, the mountains there are by far more interesting and still unconquered by him. But until that moment he still had to face some people. His family would be rather shocked but wouldn't try to stop him, he is his father's son after all. The real problem would be his girlfriend...well the girl that stuck to him because he was buff and slightly famous in some circles. She always said she loved him, and he would always lie that he loved her too. But it was time to put an end to this. Mind you, he never planned to hurt her, but one could see how superficial her love was, thus he kept her around because she was convenient, no doubt she would find some other schmuck to leech of within a week.

He arrived at home late that evening since he had to pay a visit to all utilities, he had to liquidate all contracts after all. His girlfriend had already gotten home and was taking a shower. Perfect timing...he thought as he started packing. Packing meant usually just his underwear and socks since he kept most his close packed in a backpack at all times. He left out a pair of jeans a t shirt and a jacket to wear tomorrow, but that was about all. He debated for a second weather he should say something to his girlfriend or not, and decided that he'd rather not be there when she'd find out that he left her. As he opened the door to the lobby she got out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around her head. "Where on earth are you going with that at this hour?" she asked, as a response he only spat over the shoulder a dry "Goodbye"

For those who haven't been keeping up with the skype group, @Regendorf was a prior member to Unlikely Heroes (actually one of the original members that joined during the first interest check). Since he falls under the exception for the character limit in the roleplay, Weaver and I looked at his new character sheet with an updated power and have accepted him. Welcome aboard!

Thanks!

Hmm I guess that was me. Seeing that both @Nemaisare and @Regendorf qualify to play the game, I'll repost the rules from the original post
Now to keep the OOC alive =D

... I just remembered a fab game I used to play in my previous RP site. Have any of you heard of this? It's called 3 facts.

So now -drum rolls- I'm introducing - 3 Facts UH Edition

The rules are simple:

The nominated person gives 3 little known facts about their character, an NPC or an established location in the RP (e.g. character's home, workplace, hometown or Reformer Base). Two of the facts are wrong and only one is correct. We let as many people submit their guesses (at least one or two replies) before we reveal the answer. The winner is the first person to guess correctly.

-----------------------

Other Rules:

Winner can nominate him/herself to submit the next set of character facts or nominate someone else.

We only accept facts for accepted characters, approved NPCs and established locations. =( This is to make things easier for the CS creation process </3 I'm very sorry Nemaisare.

Preferably we don't have the same people submit more than twice in a row. So, as far as I am concerned, I'd be happier if we all take turns nominating others in the RP. =) That way we can learn more about each other's characters.

-----------------------

Sample Submission (<.< also a legit entry)

Title: Facts about Callie Wright (we need this so everyone is clued in about which char/NPC/location we are discussing)

Fact 1: Callie's younger brother is called George.
Fact 2: Callie has more than one brother.
Fact 3: Callie's family has five children.

As for my three facts, this time around I'm going to go with Cameron seeing that he is about to make a reappearance pretty soon

1) Cameron wanted to join the TSP when the program first came out.
2) Cameron had connections with Wilson before the TSP which helped him to be one of the candidates for Gen Bravo
3) Cameron was convicted of a crime before getting involved with the TSP

2 sounds too specific to be a lie, but maybe it's a trap =p

I'm going with 2
