Unable to edit image in album?

Just wondering, once I put a picture in for a character, I'm unable to edit the image. Is this intentional?
 
You can't edit the image itself but you can edit the character entry. There should be a big button Edit Character on the top right.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Kind of a bummer I can't edit the image because that's what I was aiming for, but thank you for the help!
 
Why are we unable to edit the image? Would there have been some sort of bug if it was there?

EDIT: And would it be possible to present this kind of thing as an idea?

If I recall correctly, the reason you can't edit the image is because the character is the image, as far as the data is concerned. If you change the image, you are actually making an entirely different character, not just changing the image for your character. =\

Unfortunately, that's just the way it works, and the only way to change that would be to get a completely different character gallery system.
