Okay I have my char in my head lol.
A char with Pyrokinesis but who has Pyrophobia, so he would way too scare to use his powers... and if he does use it or sees fire he faints or stops breathing xD

I was thinking of a person who is afraid of blood being able to blood bend, or something along the lines of that

xD that's horrible lol. Or they feel sick when they see blood... almost throwing up xD

Age : 17
Gender: Female
Likes: Cats, manga, cute things in general, fluffy stuff, insects.
Dislikes: Dogs, ferocity / feral stuff
Fears: Drawing pins
Power(s): Mind Reading, Mind Influence, Mind Control (Yeah, gonna make a gamebreakingly powerful ability become stupendously weak!)
Ixchel can read minds, influence decisions and outright control minds like puppets. Really broken stuff. Unfortunately, when Ixchel tries to do anything with this, she finds herself forgetting how to speak any of her second languages. This means she can only read, influence and control minds that think in her native language. This wouldn't be too bad, if her native language wasn't Nahuatl, a language used by only 1.5 million people, mainly in Mexico. (Not Spanish; Nahuatl is the language of the Aztecs) This ability requires them to think in Nahuatl, not just know it, so someone who learned it as a second language would still be immune. Should she read a mind that thinks in English etc, she would only be able to make out a few words, usually simple ones, and influence / control would be impossible.

Personality : Ixchel is quite energetic and friendly, and doesn't let anything bother her. She only decided to come to the meeting in hopes of meeting people who aren't constantly fighting over their abilities. She loves friendly banter and is generally good at socialising, though she can be a little shy occasionally.
Brief Bio : Ixchel's family moved to the city for her father's work - his ability was a perfect form of her own and he is employed in the government, used to reveal secrets about opponents or outright force them to vote in favour of his clients' proposals against their will.

I think I have an idea (well,someone helped me after I failed at first x_x)...A girl who has the power of flight but is severely afraid of heights?? I have the whole character sorted out (at least I think so-I've had a friend look it over),I just don't have a dang picture...But anyways--

Name: Adelaide Montgomery
Age: 19 years
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Round lips,green/blue eyes w/gold flecks,lavender/fade mint hair-originally dark red,lip ring+snake bites (not worn at the same time),petite rounded nose,pale,standard lobe/industrial ear piercings,5'2", 113 lbs.,wavy hair/sideswept bangs,pastel goth style
Likes:
Cats,music,social media (ex. YouTube,Tumblr,Instagram), photography, traveling, playing piano/singing,stormy weather,forests,meditating,writing stories,the supernatural
Dislikes:
Most sports,staying inside more than 3 hours,being judged,being lonely,prejudiced people,being told she's wrong,being told what to do
Fears:
Heights,the dark,spiders,not being good enough (atelophobia)

Adelaide is very quirky and goofy. She is very likeable, but can become very detached at any given moment. She is usually more impulsive in a group of friends rather than alone.She's more of a night owl who stays up sketching, writing novels, or playing piano through the night. She's very peaceful and often meditates, but can also become oblivious to social happenings and ends up late to events. Adelaide suffers from bipolar disorder, often experiencing different mood episodes (mostly manic episodes,which make her very jumpy and irritable).
Brief bio:
Adelaide grew up with her four brothers and divorced father. When she was a young child, she had always wanted to fly. This was, of course, before she developed a fear of heights. One day,she decided to jump off the top bunk of her brother's bunk bed to see if she could fly like in her dreams. Right before she hit the carpet, she stopped in midair. She flew around the room for about five seconds before running into the hall screaming. She never told anyone about this ability, and to make her fears worse, when she was a bit older she almost fell out of a ferris wheel seat while the ride had been stopped.

Well, All of it's good.

Just one thing, you gotta make her like....super...afraid of heights or something. Cause if she's just afraid of heights then it's a very easy way in a troublesome situation to be like "And then she found courage!" and "Flew off into the sunset" If you know what I mean.

But anyway, accepted!

Also, After I get my character out (And sleep maybe) I Shall probably start working on the first IC post.

Just for notice anyone reading this, it's still open and will probably still be open after the IC opens
 
I'm super interested in this.
I was thinking maybe a girl with Duplication powers.
But she's terrified of seeing herself, like she can't even handle mirrors or anything reflective.
What do you guys think? I'm open to suggestions :)

Also maybe a guy that can shapeshift into any animal but only as long as he can hold his breath​

The Duplication thing could work, but how would the Duplication power work by itself?

Maybe that she could use it if she's not looking at them. Like the duplications come from behind her or she can close her eyes and tell them what to do. But this leaves her defenceless against attack and if she sees one or herself (via reflection) she'll panic and lose her concentration which causes her to lose her duplacations. I can picture her being surrounded by enemies and she'll have to use her duplication but is sitting in the middle in a fetal position unable to do anything.​

Likes: Sera became quite interested in manga and anime, since it was one of the few things that wasn't a weakness.
Dislikes: Pretty much everything, instinctively, until she learns it isn't going to hurt her.
Fears: Accidentally encountering a life threatening weakness.

Power(s): Achilles' Heel
Exactly what it says on the tin. Sera has all the weaknesses of most popular powers, and none of the strengths. For example, her right heel can be damaged normally by arrows. If you cut her hair off, she'll become weaker. If she locks eyes with her reflection, she'll turn to stone. Unfortunately, she doesn't gain the invincibility of Achilles, or the incredible strength of Samson or the ability to turn other people to stone; only the weaknesses.

Personality : Sera is probably what you'd expect from someone who has to avoid doing everything. She's shy and jumpy, because she never knows when something is going to end up as yet another of her weaknesses.
Brief Bio : Sera grew up behind a wall of plastic. This was actually true, for a short time, until large quantities of plastic turned out to be one of her weaknesses. When she aged and her immune system matured, the weaknesses began to die down enough for her to be able to go out into public, but she still has to be very careful.

What makes it even better is that she still classes as a human, and human eyes are constantly seeing their own nose (the brain just ignores it - y'know how if you think about your nose, you'll begin seeing a see-through nose where your nose is?) which means she can only be invisible if she herself has her eyes closed too :D
