She weighs about 140 pounds after a good meal and stands about five foot seven inches in height. Her background as a high school cheerleader and an exotic dancer has given her incredible posture and flexibility. Valentine was the only daughter of Kella and Yolva Svetla. Her mother, Kella, was born here in the United States and met her husband Yolva in Russia when she went traveling during her late 30s. A few years after they met, the two got married, moved to the United States, and had Valentine exclusively on Valentine's Day. She was spoiled by her parents and was always encouraged to do what she wanted as well as take the stage when she found her calling. As a young girl, Valentine valued being the center of attention and nearly always getting her way. As high school approached, Valentine figured out that in order to continue getting her way she had to take a few drastic actions. She became the head cheerleader of the varsity cheerleading squad, she became vice president of the student council, and she joined the mathlete tournament during summer vacation. She climbed every social ladder until she had reached the stars. After high school, the ambitious blonde made her way to Las Vegas in search of a more luxurious and fast-paced lifestyle. Nevada was where she resided for years; working her way up from being a waitress, bartender, and security guard until she finally landed her dream job as a dance instructor. A year and a half later, Valentine began to fall in debt and decided another drastic course was needed if she wanted to keep her apartment. She began working nights at a gentleman's club as a bartender and sometimes she filled in for other dancers when they couldn't make it in. The tips helped her stay afloat and she was at home, on her day off, when her mother called from her trip in Moscow.
Her mother had asked her if she was alright and if the virus had made it's way to Nevada yet, but since Valentine wasn't exactly in tune with the news she had no clue what "virus" her mother was talking about. Had the measles become big again? Was chicken pox circling the country? When Valentine figured out how shitty things had become she geared up and listened to her mother's desperate cries as she tried to tell her only daughter about where she should go. At first, Kella Svetla had told Valentine to make her way to their home in Utah, but on the trek there Valentine had run into several problems until eventually she found out about the safehaven located in Oregon. By that time, the cellular phone lines had been cut and Valentine was alone in the world. She had no clue if her parents had hopped on a plane back to the states. Frankly, Valentine felt a whole lot better knowing that they were halfway across the world instead of by her side in this hellhole.
As weeks went by, the virus became more and more apparent. In less than 3 months the phone lines all went down and the television networks began to drop off the face of the Earth one by one. The world literally caught on fire until it seemed like truly nothing was left. At the recent 6 months mark the initial virus outbreak had begun to mutate violently. The first strand of zombies became stronger, more hostile, and uglier than before. Valentine began to see that some zombies even took on characteristics from their human days, which made some explode from their own fat juices and others spit out incredibly vile acid from their broken mouths. It became harder and harder every day to get to Oregon, but Valentine was determined to reconnect with others. What else was there to live for, but a little human interaction?

Personality:
ENTREPRENEUR PERSONALITY (ESTP, -A/-T)
+ Sociable; Valentine always has an impact on her immediate surroundings – the best way to spot her at a party is to look for the whirling eddy of people flitting about her as she moves from group to group. Laughing and entertaining with a blunt and earthy humor, her personality type loves to be the center of attention. If an audience member is asked to come on stage, Valentine volunteers – or volunteers a shy friend.
+ Leader; Valentine is full of passion and energy, complemented by a rational, if sometimes distracted, mind. Inspiring, convincing and colorful, she is a natural group leader, pulling everyone along the path less traveled, bringing life and excitement everywhere she goes. Putting these qualities to a constructive and rewarding end is Valentine's true challenge.
: Risk-Taker; Entrepreneurs are the likeliest personality type to make a lifestyle of risky behavior. Valentine lives in the moment and dives into the action – she is the eye of the storm. People with the Entrepreneur personality type, such as Valentine, enjoy drama, passion, and pleasure, not for emotional thrills, but because it's so stimulating to her logical mind. She is forced to make critical decisions based on factual, immediate reality in a process of rapid-fire rational stimulus response.
: Hands-On; This type of behavior made school and other highly organized environments a challenge for Valentine. It certainly isn't because she isn't smart, and she can do well, but the regimented, lecturing approach of formal education is just so far from the hands-on learning that Valentine enjoys. It takes a great deal of maturity to see this process as a necessary means to an end, something that creates more exciting opportunities.
: Rule-Breaker; Also challenging is that to Valentine, it makes more sense to use her own moral compass than someone else's. Rules were made to be broken, that's her motto. But if she minimizes the trouble-making, harnesses her energy, and focus through the boring stuff, Valentine is a force to be reckoned with.
: Keen Eye; With perhaps the most perceptive, unfiltered view of any type, Valentine's personality type has a unique skill in noticing small changes. Whether a shift in facial expression, a new clothing style, or a broken habit, Valentine can pick up on hidden thoughts and motives where most types would be lucky to pick up anything specific at all. Valentine use these observations immediately, calling out the change and asking questions, often with little regard for sensitivity. This type of interaction reminds Valentine that not everyone wants their secrets and decisions broadcast.
- Insensitive; If Valentine isn't careful though, she may get too caught in the moment, take things too far, and run roughshod over more sensitive people, or forget to take care of her own health and safety. Making up only four percent of the population, there are just enough of Valentine's personality type out there to keep things spicy and competitive, and not so many as to cause a systemic risk.
- Illogical; Theory, abstract concepts and plodding discussions about global issues and their implications don't keep Valentine interested for long. She likes to keep her conversation energetic, with a good dose of intelligence, but she would like to talk about what is – or better yet, to just go out and do it. Valentine leaps before she looks, fixing her mistakes as they go, rather than sitting idle, preparing contingencies and escape clauses.
Aspirations: Valentine just wants to find a group of uninfected that she could integrate herself in. She has walked such a lonely path these past few months that any real-life interaction would make her feel human again.
Regrets: Valentine wishes that she had visited her folks more and maybe even shown them that she could do more than just dance half-naked and serve cosmos with ease.
Skills:
Ability to Drive; Valentine got her license at 17 and has been without any tickets or warrants ever since. She has driven motorcycles, dirt bikes, quads, 4-cyclinder vehicles, 6-cylinder vehicles, and even an abandoned army truck that became her mobile shelter for about a month and a half. She has familiarized herself with basic vehicle maintenance (changing oil, chaning fuses, etc.) and is confident in her ability to hijack vehicles without making too much noise.
Knowledge of Nevada; Valentine has lived in Nevada for almost 7 years so she knows the area pretty well and has been making progress in traveling upwards toward Oregon.
Knowledge on How to Swim; Valentine learnt how to swim as a kid like everyone else so she is capable of crossing obstacles or keeping her head above an oncoming tsunami if that becomes the case.
Locating/Making Shelter; Valentine has lived in cars, trucks, tunnels, houses, and more since the initial virus outbreak. She can find a good nights rest virtually anywhere.
Skills at Arms/Basic Firearm Knowledge; Since the outbreak, Valentine has become more hands-on with firearms and other unique weapons. She found a Ruger 380 Auto LCP at work in the back office safe. It is a compact gun so she hid it within her boots when she first began her trek. She took a Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle from a torn-up old country man that was laying half-dead in the highway. She has since lost the rifle and has somehow equipped half a can of Pepper Spray, which isn't a firearm, but has become Valentine's favorite weapon.
Moral Outlook:
CHAOTIC NEUTRAL
"A chaotic neutral character follows her whims. She is an individualist first and last. She values her own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. She avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, she would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from herself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but her behavior is not totally random. She is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal."

Inventory: Valentine has a medium-sized pack. Her gun is usually always holstered at her side for easy-access, but she only brings out the gun for the big boys. Her sickle is her main weapon, however if she doesn't feel like holding it there is a strap on the side of her pack. The top strap holds a rolled up plush blanket as well as one of those dumb neck pillows you get on a long flight. Inside the pack is as follows: two rolled up t-shirts, one pair of jeans, one pair of shorts, two pairs of underwear, mix-matched socks, the gear listed below in various zippered pockets, a few loose scraps of wire, string, and a pouch of pennies. The pennies are used exclusively to lure hordes of infected out of her way. Her dead cellphone is also shoved at the bottom of her pack.
Gear: Flint and steel, an opened box of bandages, half a roll of tape, a small Swiss army knife (with two-types of screwdrivers, mini scissors, and a nail file), as well as a makeshift lock pick set. She has created a pair of makeshift leather gauntlets and shin guards as a precaution.
Preferred Weapons/Add-Ons: Valentine still carries the Ruger 380 Auto LCP with one box of ammo, but it is now equipped with a mini-flashlight at the top of it's barrel as well as a pink makeshift grip. She also carries an Ottoman Sickle (far left) with a red ribbon wrapped around it's handle and an incredibly sharpened point. Valentine also has a used can of pepper spray that has seen better days.
Fighting Style:
DIRTY FIGHTER
Valentine likes to taunt her enemies as well as fight a little dirty. She tends to get up close and personal and then avoid the others opposing moves at all costs. Sometimes, if she feels a battle isn't going well, she will flee or instead of agreeing to a fair contest she will return later for the rations that would have been hers anyway if she won. She tends not to get into the middle of hungry hordes unless they have something intriguing or worthwhile.
