The year is 20XX, as far as everyone is concerned it is just a normal day for everyone as people head to school or work as they normally do. Suddenly random people hear pings on their phone as some check it immediately while others who are busy with whatever they might be doing ignore it for the time being. The pings constantly go off until the phone is picked up and finally viewed to show that everyone has received a mysterious app that no one remembers ever installing. Most people end up deleting the app believing that it simply some sort of spam or virus that is just attempting to scam them into some sort of marketing trick; while those that are too curious for their own good press the app and the unexpected occurs.

Those who pressed the app immediately have their world distorted around them as it appears to be a parallel world of where they are. The only difference is that once entering this world, a shadowy figure floats before them with crimson eyes; it demands the person to call out it's name. Although the person may not realize it immediately, they for some reason know the figure's name but only if they speak it first and not question anything else will a contract be sealed with the figure.
If the person does not immediately call out the name and question anything before them or the figure, they will be removed from the world and the app will instantly vanish.

If the person should call out the name of the figure and the contract sealed; to confirm the contract the figure shall speak the following phrase:

"I am thou, thou art I.
Thou hast acquired a new vow.
It shall become the wings of rebilllon that breakth thy chains of captivty.
With the birth of the <insert arcana here> Persona.
I have obtained the winds of blessing that should lead to freedom and new power..."

The day the first contract had been signed and sealed, reality itself had began to tear apart as massive holes in the sky started to rip open. The sky turned a crimson red as strange beasts poured out from the holes just to begin hunting down and consuming if not simply killing humans everywhere. No matter what military might attempted to battle against this threat, no weapon was ever able to kill the beasts. Only those who had accepted the contract are able to shift into the form of their new found power to battle and defeat these beings though it was soon found as fighting alone against this threat was impossible as those who attempted so were quickly overpowered and killed as well.

It has been five years since the day of the invasion of the beasts and now people live in hiding deep underground to avoid being caught and killed by the beasts. Many of those who did receive the app and end up learning about what it is capable of still dare not touch it now and prefer to stay in hiding rather than fight and die.

For as long as anyone can remember, the largest threat humanity has ever faced has been the Akuma; to ordinary people these were monsters that appeared out of nowhere or people's nightmares come to life, having no other objective other than to kill innocent people without need of a reason whatsoever. Many have believed there was no way to defeat these monsters until those who called themselves 'Exorcists' and stated that they worked for something called 'The Black Order' made an appearance while each using a unique weapon that differed with each person to defeat the Akuma.
These Exorcists also explained the truth about how Akuma were born and created by a single foe that all Exorcists have been fighting for as long as time itself known as 'The Millennium Earl' and that their objective aside from defeating him was to find someone or something called the heart of all innocence. Informing also to those who had special abilities were most likely chosen by an innocence as their wielder.

Those who ended up joining the Black Order became Exorcists and fought for the same goal as everyone else in the Order and it was thought that eventually The Millennium Earl would be defeated and the world would finally find peace; or so they thought.

Fifty years now have passed and each of the branches of the Black Order group is nothing more than ruins and the Exorcists are nothing more than a memory now. Without Exorcists hunting the Akuma, innocent lives have been taken one after another whenever someone dies and those whose emotions are too strongly connected cannot cope for the death of their loved one only to cause them to become Akuma as well after submitting to the Earl.
Now, most of the population of the world lives underground in hiding while few still live above ground while in hopes that they can somewhat live their lives without being caught one day by the sights of an Akuma.

Though, as long as the heart of innocence still lives on somewhere in the world, people are still chosen randomly to become another wielder of the power of innocence. Without the Black Order, it is up to those who find themselves with these said abilties to train themselves and stand up to the threat of Akuma and the Millennium Earl.

I'm living for that Persona idea. I am so excited they are releasing Nocturne onto the Switch. Cannot wait.

Thank ye for your interest!

The persona one seems interesting.

If the persona one is the one that moves forward, I do hope to get at least three more people at least before I create threads..

Hee-ho, so excited if we get more for the Persona campaign.
