It is said that brevity is the soul of wit. There is, without a doubt, a time and place for long paragraphs filled with wondrous descriptions. Other times, however, less is more. What can you create from the prompt using only two sentences?

Crisp
 
He savored on the bacon, chewing it in his mouth, smiling as he ate it. The crunching and crispness was the most beautiful thing he had tasted in a long time.

He split open the melon with his hands, the juice running in rivulets down his fingers and onto his forearms, satisfying crunch filled his ears as he began chopping and adding it to the fruit salad. He stabbed his fork into the crisp fruit chunks and took it in, savoring the flavor.

" Hmm, these breadsticks are just delicious." She smirked at him mockingly, noticing a flinch, as she bit off the doughy end with an audible crack, looking at the man in front of her as he nursed his broken arm, whimpering in pain.

The air was crisp as the girl walked through the autumn woodland that clung to the mountainside. She smiled as she heard the leaves crunching underfoot on the familiar walk to her favorite view.

"It's Krispy Kreme with a K, not a C!"

"That's just bad spelling, dude."
 
She laid the shirt to the board and ironed it until it was crisp with perfect lines down the sleeves and nowhere else. Hanging it with his best suit as she sipped the garment bag with a heavy sigh, and headed for the funeral home.
 
The words were harsh and crisp, and they left a bitter taste in his mouth. But sometimes the truth must be told.
 
There was no feeling better than to satisfy the craving for salt and starch after months of eating nothing but kale, carrots, seaweed, and quinoa. The man sinfully put the crisp in his mouth with as much sensually as a sailor indulging in a woman, the guilt a far-off thought as he savored that single, golden potato chip.
