It happens a lot. You watch a show or movie and they play this random song for the mood/scene and you just LOVE it. Back before the internet it was a BITCH to figure out what those songs were. YAY FOR MODERN DAY GOOGLING!


What are some TV shows or movies that have some ballin' soundtracks? I desire to discover some new tunes!

I remember seeing Ghost Rider in theaters while working at one and always catching this song. Like you said, before the net, it was a bitch. A single link with a download on some fishy site actually worked.


Otherwise there are no TV shows that click with me on soundtrack..

And my favorite to cleanse my brain of catchy tunes that I don't want. It kills averything else:

Game of Thrones will have to be something you check out, Ramin Djawadi is one of my favorite contemporary composers.



God dammit, that last one hits me in the feels every time.

I loved the sound track for Stalker, the TV show. Really added to the creepy factor, leaving you with shivers.

 
InuYasha and NANA have the best soundtracks in anime history in my opinion :D

As for movies, aside from almost every Disney movie in existence, I'd have to say the Fast and Furious movies have some pretty sweet tunes. I also love the theme song for the first Mortal Kombat film.

Also I can't neglect these beauties!

"How to Get Away with Murder" has so many songs I love that I likely never would have found out about.



 
This song from Orange is the New Black (season 3 maybe? I forget)


They played this song on Switched at Birth and I spent freakin forever searching before I finally found it D':


'Everything Stays' from Adventure Time, aka let's all have our hearts broken
 
Also Steven Universe. 'Nuff said.
