Turned For The Worse [Onyx & Em]

Taylor's stomach growled slightly and she face-palmed in annoyance. She just ate, or well, she just fed recently so she shouldn't be hungry. Maybe it's because of this human? She glanced up at Daniel through her lashes and shook her head. Something was up. It was too early to follow him home, too many people, too much light. If she caught his scent correctly she could find him later.

He continued to eat his sandwich in silence not noticing her staring at him. Reaching forward he grabs his drink and takes a sip to wash down some bread.

She sighs. How long is this going to take? Her fingers dog-ear page thirty-one am then they grasp the handle of her coffee cup. She takes a long sip, finishing her coffee and calling the waitress over to order a strawberry milkshake. Taylor would need to waste time and wait for Samurai Jack to finish his meal and pay, then she could figure out his name and find where he lives.

He then picked up the sandwich and started to eat much faster than probably necessary as he remembered he had something he needed to do. Drinking the rest of his coffee he leaves a tip under the mug and the needed amount for the bill on the table. Standing up he makes his way over to the door to leave.

She watched the other finish his food, his coffee, and leave a tip before hurriedly leaving the diner with a new fire in his step. The blonde shut her book softly and payed for her beverage before pulling the hood up on her jacket and walking out. Tapping into her stealth-like skills, Ty followed the white-haired male, blending into the five o'clock crowd so well you could barely tell there was anything amidst.

He quickly made his way down the street unaware of his newfound follower. Turning a corner she would be greeted by a totally empty street and at the end a very large house grounds looking like something straight out of traditional Japan.

When Ty turned the corner she could barely believe her eyes. The house and grounds were colorful and full of beautiful and it reminded her of Tokyo, circa 1930. It was still daytime and it was risky to even dare scout the area now. Instead, she turned back, making sure to remember the street names before returning to her apartment. Once there she decided to kill time. It was going to be a fun night and she simply needed to prepare.

Daniel just continued down the street right up to the main gate and pushed it open strolling in then shutting the gate. Slowing down his walk a little he enters the house through the front door and takes off his shoes.

Taylor had taken a long, long bath and decided to curl up in her couch and continue reading. She had already gone over her plan in the hot water. This human was different and strong, after she fed she planned to change him. It had been many years since that situation occurred and Ty would be lying if she said she wasn't lonely.

Setting his shoes in the entry way he walks into the main foyer and continues out to the backyard and sits on the shaded wood walkway. Crossing his legs he closes his eyes and listens to his fountain and the sounds of the birds.

She eventually had halfway fallen asleep on the couch, her book spread open in her lap and a towel wrapped around her. She didn't dream, she simply laid still and relaxed half in sleep land and half out.

He could feel sleep tugging at his eyes. Sighing he stands up and walks out into the middle of his backyard lying down in the soft grass. Placing his hands behind his head he lets sleep drag his eyelids closed and fell asleep in the open.

It was dark by the time Taylor came back to. Her power snooze had turned into an almost full blown one night's worth of sleep. She stretched, letting her book fall closed to the floor before standing up. The old style grandfather cloak ticked and then chimed a total of... Nine, ten, eleven. It was eleven o'clock, the perfect time for her plan to begin. Calm and content, Ty picked out clothes; a long red skirt and white sleeveless top to match. If she wanted to walk there she had to look completely normal, like a teen on a stroll, but without shoes. She liked to look good during a hunt as well as stay free and nimble. It took her fifteen minutes to walk back to the male's house and once there she began to creep around the perimeter carefully.

He had fallen asleep a long time ago and was dreaming peacefully on the soft grass. His sword was still strapped to his hip. Softly turning over in his sleep he was now laying on his side with one hand still under his head.

Taylor had hopped the fence into the backyard of the large house, enthrall end by the beauty of the grass and trees. And then she spotted him. He was asleep, sprawled out across the grass looking peaceful and eerie. It was almost enchanting and like déjà vu. Taylor felt like this had happened before.

He heard her feet hit the soft grass and felt the slight shake but it was changed in his mind into his dream and he didn't stir at the sound. Murmuring a little a few strands of his silver hair fall to cover his eyes.

Taylor quickly put her hair up, trying to change the way her face stood out so she wouldn't be noticed at first. She gently tapped the male with her foot, running like the Flash around him to stand on the opposite side. She tilted her head and bent down so she could sit criss-cross applesauce beside him.

He mumbled in his sleep and turned onto his back one of his hands flailing a little landing right next to her foot.

She poked his hand. Fleshy. Super, super fleshy. His veins pippin. Slightly out beneath his skin. Taylor felt her incisors elongate and a thirst grasp her stomach, but she waited, and continue to poke his fingers. He was a heavy sleeper.

He mumbled and his breathing increased a little as if he was going to wake up. Then it slowed back down as he fell back into his sleep.
