[fieldbox="Mikki Jones, red, solid"]
Nickname: Iron Fist Mikki
Appearance: 6'3", 210lbs. Short black hair, a bit of stubble along his chin, and tattoos splattered across his body. He has a muscular build, like a boxer or a bodybuilder. Typically dresses in a hoodie, t-shirt, and jeans.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox="Race, red, solid"]Mostly human. However, his right arm is a sentient, symbiotic alien. Normally, the alien race attaches itself to the host’s head, then consumes and replicates the head, and tries to blend into human society. However, something went wrong in this particular bonding, and the alien did the same thing to Mikki’s arm. The symbiotes are highly intelligent, and learn at an astonishing rate. The creatures can morph their bodies into a variety of shapes and tools, however, they cannot replicate any complex machinery. Although they look identical to human flesh, their cells are much stronger and more durable. When morphing themselves into a blade, they can easily cut through steel. Shields made of symbiote flesh are nearly impenetrable. Additionally, symbiotes’ muscles are much more efficient than a human’s, making Mikki’s right arm much stronger than the rest of his body.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox="Personality, red, solid"]
Externally, Mikki is arrogant, rude, and holds himself high above others around him. He is a repulsive man, full of self-confidence and riddled with hubris. His personality attracts only those of that same mindset. However, this is only who he is on the outside. He acts this way to push away those who would be kind to him. Should someone manage to get closer to Mikki, they will find a man who is hurting. He has a burden like no other, and his only desire is to be rid of it. He’s seen men torn to pieces as they scream for the help of friends, family members, and deities. He has seen innocents killed without a second thought from the killer. He has experienced all the horror that a man can, and been able to do nothing about it. He is broken, and does all he can to keep people away from him, so that he doesn't have to experience losing them too.
The symbiote he shares a life with is cunning, logical, and often comes across as cruel. It considers bloodshed just another task, no more daunting than crushing an annoying fly. It experiences no emotion, and no attachment. It is truly a heartless being, both metaphorically and literally, since it is Mikki’s heart that pumps blood through its body. The symbiote has only two interactions with people, one is lethal, and the other is business-like. If a person has nothing to offer the symbiote, it will kill them on the spot, for the iron in their blood is worth more to it than what the person offers. If the person can offer a service to the symbiote, it will behave as a politician or businessman, and seek to make a deal with them that will benefit both parties.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox="His Wish, yellow, solid"]Mikki wishes to be rid of the alien that has consumed his arm, and destroyed his life. He wishes to return his life to how it was before. He wants to never see a symbiote again. However, Mikki requires the unnamed symbiote’s cooperation to get through the labyrinth. His specific wish is to have the symbiote moved to a new host of its choice. That way, the symbiote would be able to replicate its host’s head, as it was intended to, and Mikki would forever be free of the alien lifeform.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox="Magic/Mutation, red, solid"]Not really magic, but the symbiote’s abilities and transformations are pretty mystically magical and whatnot. So all the symbiote’s stuff counts. Just to sum up what it can do, it is exceptionally strong, incredibly durable, and capable of morphing itself into simple tools, like blades. The rules are pretty similar to the liquid metal terminator, but it’s more solid. Added into that is the symbiote’s love of toxins. It finds poison to be an extremely effective means of killing, and will often keep stores of toxins in specialized pockets it has built within itself.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox="Skills, red, solid"]Hand to hand combat, knife fighting, small firearms (pistols, handguns, etc), parkour, a touch of swordplay, can be very diplomatic when he needs to be. The Symbiote finds its strengths in logical thinking, deduction, and decision making, along with providing an incredibly accurate analysis of a fight or situation in short time.[/fieldbox]
[fieldbox="History, red, solid"]
Mikki grew up on the streets of Cronenburgh, the city in his world with the highest crime rate. As one might imagine, he was adopted into the gang life. Gangs in Cronenburgh were often short lived. Police found and raided gang hangouts on almost a weekly basis, and were never opposed to using lethal force. Few gangs were able to defend against the police, and those few gangs were what the rest hoped to achieve. Gangs rarely fought each other, they were formed mainly for safety in numbers, hoping that they would survive long enough against the law enforcement of Cronenburgh.
After years of gangs, raids, and killing, Mikki was discovered by a man who made a living managing and training small time MMA fighters. He saw Mikki fight off two men, one of which he K.O.ed in one punch. The man nicknamed him Iron Fist Mikki, and offered him a job in the ring. Mikki gladly obliged. Mikki was a gifted fighter, and was merciless in the ring. Iron Fist Mikki rose to popularity in the ring. He was on the top of his game, at the height of his popularity, and had even found a girl he’d fallen in love with. Of course, when you're on top, the only way to go is down.
Mikki was awoken one night by a strange noise in his kitchen. Going to investigate, he found a strange, worm-like creature on his counter. He reached to grab the creature, and it leapt at him, something Mikki didn't expect. Mikki was able to swat it out of the air, and it hit the wall with an audible thud. Mikki stepped forward to step on it, and end the life of the strange creature, but it leapt again. Expecting it this time. Mikki was able to catch the strange creature. He was about to swing it around to break its neck, but the snakelike being opened up like a blanket being unrolled, it's body wrapping around the arm that held it. Mikki shouted in pain as it seemed like daggers were being shoved into his arm, and it seemed that his arm was disappearing somehow. After a few moments, he blacked out. He woke up the next morning still in his kitchen, his alarm clock beeping at him from his bedroom. He looked at his arm and was half surprised to find it intact. There was no way he had dreamt it, it seemed too real. Getting up, Mikki thought his arm felt strangely heavy, but decided it was just because he had slept on it strange. He hadn't time to worry about it, he had a fight scheduled that day.
His fight resulted in what was technically another victory. But it shook Mikki to his core. He killed the man. Not only had he killed him, he killed him in one punch. He had killed before while in gangs, but that was in self defense. Killing in the ring was different. The man wasn’t there to fight for his life, he was there to throw fists with Mikki. Needing to clear his head, Mikki went to his girlfriend’s house to talk with her about what happened. While they were talking, a voice said “I need food.” The couple looked around the room confused, then the symbiote that was Mikki’s arm sprang to life. It morphed Mikki’s hand into a mouth, taking mass from the fighter’s arm and using it to extend forward. Before the couple could react, the alien life form had ripped a massive chunk out of the woman’s chest.
After fighting with the symbiote, Mikki fled the house, and fled Cronenburgh. The symbiote learned English over time, and as it learned more of the language, it had more ways to explain what it was to Mikki. Soon, Mikki understood that the alien was bonded with him, and that there was no way to remove it. The alien needed to kill to sustain itself, as it was unable to digest processed meats. It also needed much more iron than a human, and since iron is found mainly in blood, it needed the blood of raw, fresh meat. Over time, the pair agreed that if they were going to have to be killers anyway (and the symbiote would regularly kill random people passing by for no reason other than because it wanted to), the two might as well make a living off of it.
Iron Fist Mikki had become a contract killer, and his fist had become his weapon. It was at this time that the symbiote took an interest in toxins, and started to store them inside itself for when they were needed. When required, the symbiote would apply the toxins to the tip of a blade or spike, just enough of it to be a lethal dose. Then, once the target was dead, the symbiote could eat the corpse, separate the toxin from organic matter while it was digesting, and regain the poison it had used to kill with. The system was effective, and efficient.
One day, Mikki was approached by a figure who offered wishes. Fight for his life, and this thing that had changed his life would be removed. It was an offer he couldn't resist. He had tried to kill himself before, but the symbiote had always stopped him, since if Mikki died, so did the symbiote. Whether he won or lost, he would be freed from this nightmare. Of course, the symbiote would not allow failure, and Mikki also preferred winning to the alternative. They would get through the labyrinth. And they would kill anyone who stood in their way.[/fieldbox]
