Trump and his very...er

FACT CHECKING FERRET HERE!
To be fair, Huffington Post kinda started it.
You have a lacking of understanding of news media. This was done by Priscilla Frank. Meanwhile...
Then they get to post this garbage and act like they're taking some moral high ground.
This was written by Amy Gibson, two completely different people. Newspapers hire a variety of journalists to write for them, and each has their own political biases. It's why you can get award winning journalists alongside complete fucking idiots in the same news articles.
American media everyone, unbiased as all get out.
The second link is Canadian. The two Huffington Post companies are owned by the same parent company, but are ultimately unrelated subsidiaries. This makes about as much sense as claiming that water sold by Coke Cola Inc. Is unhealthy, because it's related to Coke Cola via parent corp. :ferret:
Let's not forget how it's okay when his opponents do it.
Except it's not, at all. It's a massive circus and all this outlet did was report that the two took potshots at each other. This was Rubio's side of things in response to this, reported on by a newspaper. This is still shitshow news 101: Shouldn't fuckin' matter what the shitflinging is, should only matter what policies are, but that's not how the news works.
But of course it's the regressive lefts blatant obsession with dicks..
Yeah, it's not like the right wing says anything completely insane either. No siree.

Both sides of the political coin have fucked up extremists on them. Don't blame this on the regressive left (which is totally a thing but not appropriate for this topic), blame it on the parent companies of these news agencies. Who owns the Huffington Post? AOL. Who owns AOL? Verizon. Now who owns shares in Verizon Wireless, and how much does Verizon Wireless throw into the political arena in terms of cash and employees? A fuckton. Hmm... Wanna bet that Verizon Wireless didn't throw any money into the Trump Wagon, and is now handing down the pyramid line orders to their subsidiaries to not fuck up relationships with candidates and groups they have thrown money at?

Because I'd bet pretty strongly this isn't a left wing or right wing problem. This is a blatant corruption problem, period. The regressive left and religious right aren't problems in and of themselves: They're just the useful idiots to bigger schemers, and useful shouty mad fuckers to distract the mob from the real power players.
All this fiasco is doing besides showing American's don't want what the establishment wants.
#1: Lol, over 50% of what she says is verifiably horseshit, so take her words with a grain of salt.
#2: Yes, people are sick of the establishment. No, this does not at all excuse Trump's horrifyingly shit behaviour. Advocating for war crimes via intentionally murdering the families of enemy combatants--mostly women and children--is not something that should be lightly swept under the rug. Is the GOP & DEM primaries full of shit? Yes. Absolutely. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, but the answer shouldn't be "that one guy who has fucked up almost every business he has touched after taking a small loan of a million dollars." Basic accountability should not go out the window just because he fights the establishment. (Or, at least, he claims to. The guy is a businessman: He makes his money off of lying to a certain extent.)
Showing they'd rather destroy their own reputation than let Trump be in charge and change things.
Than let Trump be in charge and call for fucking war crimes you mean? :ferret:

In all seriousness, yes, the GOP elite are fucking pieces of shit, but so are most elite. Refer to previous fact checking point for more.
Every single ad hom attack against Trump just makes more people turn to him. It's great!
It's horrible. Instead of choosing to take a third and refuse these political machines, people are sincerely stupid enough to believe in a man who has filed for bankruptcy four times since 1991 to lead them to salvation. Because he will somehow convince Mexico to pay for a wall they couldn't even afford to pay for even if they wanted to.

After a certain point, people should refuse what is given to them, rise up in large numbers, and forcefully demand change when the machine no longer serves them.

Instead, people are taking whatever scraps the machine is willing to give them.

The fact that Trump is, veritably, one of the only anti-establishment candidates in a party that should be about small government, is fucking astoundingly horrifying. Not only because the GOP is corrupt as shit, but because Trump is a fucking childish moron at every level. At the same time, no, this doesn't mean that everyone throwing shit at Trump is now magically part of the regressive left. They're just part of whatever subsidiary company has invested in his opponents and is now running down the grapevine "hey, puppets, dance, and tell the public what we want them to hear!"

I mean, if it means anything, I'd vote for Trump over Hillary "I lie about literally everything that comes out of my mouth" Clinton, but I'd still go to sleep that night feeling pretty shitty about it. If I had to choose between any of these glorified meat puppets, Rubio seems the most reasonable in the GOP. I couldn't vote in good conscience for either Bernie or Hillary. The former is a socialist, like me, but his economic plan is suicidal and does not take into account how globalized the economy is. The latter is... Well... Hillary fucking Clinton.

If I could have things my way though, I'd advocate ripping both of your political parties to shreds and starting over, and going CTRL + ALT + DELETE on your Electoral College, and going into a PR system over FPTP for voting.

But that would make sense, and the people at the top don't want it to make sense. So it's never gonna happen.

I'm going to go hug a ferret now. If anyone wants to join me in hugging a ferret, just go find a ferret and hug it.
If Trump becomes President, I'll be building a nice big wall between me and him (aka on the Canadian-US border). #sorrynotsorry
I have an idea on how to build this wall.
  1. Get Americans who will flee their country up north to build a small section of it as repayment for all the services they'll need to initially use to settle into Canada.
  2. The wall will be done by Tuesday.
  3. Let's all get some beer and watch the Oilers lose in glorious HD at Timmy's, eh'?

Yup.

Honestly this is my order of Candidates I'd vote for if I were American.

1. Bernie Sanders - Wait, you mean actually pay attention to Europe's success and follow suit? This is a no brainer.
Seriously, I've followed Bernie enough I can go on for a bit. But when a guy has his history so consistent it not only goes back to being against the Persian Gulf War in 1991, or even be fighting against segregation it's pretty damn solid.

Plus, when you're dedicated enough to give an 8 hour speech straight, and the only time your delivery or sincerity feels weak is when Stephen Colbert has you doing a comedic intro (seriously, he can't act for shit) that's when I feel one's proven they're pretty solid.

2. Hillary Clinton - In most respects just another untrustworthy politician, with a notably additional concern about what kind of "Gender Equality" stuff she'd push forward seeing she's not about demanding the woman's vote because she's a woman (ignore the title, it's the only recording of it I could find). But... She's still better than the alternatives.

3. The Other Candidates - I admittedly haven't been able to follow all the Candidates as closely as the one's I've named specifically. But, the worst I got to fear for them (it feels bizarre talking of these con's as if they're not that bad) is pushes against children learning science, typical flip-flip on "Immigrants are bad, by my parents are immigrants!", pushes to get LGBT marriage legalization removed, and quite simply getting a leader who prefers to take part in shit flinging over tackling any actual issues. Basically my worst fear with the rest is that America would either stop advancing, or simply regress.

4. Donald Trump - This guy scares me... Like when he decides to bring back water boarding and worse, not to mention all the anti-mexican and muslim rhetoric he's given? Enough that George Takei felt the need to get involved. It is remarkably similar to a certain German, back during a certain War, with a certain 6 million genocide rate and 60 million death rate. I mean I know Donald Trump is a wild card, it's very likely a lot of the stuff he says will never go through (or even be pushed for). But that leads me to two big points. Firstly, Donald Trump is even more unpredictable than the others (and not in the good way)! Is that really what people want? While secondly, all politicans give stuff they never follow through on, but if I'm going by the promises they've given... Then Donald Trump's in by far the most terrifying.

Fun Note: There was a thing or two up there I originally added and was linking to. Only when doing so realized I misunderstood a bit. So Huzzah to learning! :D
I take no shame in volunteering for the Republican Party, both in my county and my state. What we're seeing with the likes of Trump is decades-worth of anger that is being released in one, massive (and more importantly) orange explosion. It's chaotic and destructive, but may pass over by the next election cycle.
Then I wish you luck. Hopefully the Republican Party can become more respectable come the next election.
