Daisy hadn't heard her mom's full question because she'd been too concentrated on trying to get buckled in. She was starting to get very frustrated with her buckle when she couldn't get it clipped. Daisy's hand-eye coordination wasn't always the best and her hand shaking wasn't making it any better.
"Y-Yes please, J-Jace." she stuttered when her brother offered to help her she put her hand up and let him buckle her in before the van started. Daisy grinned broadly very excited for the adventure ahead. She didn't fully comprehend how long the trip was going to be and really didn't care. Her family had been so uphappy after daddy left this was the first time they were all together in a while. She looked out the window watching the North Dakotan landscape roll past,
"Wh-when's our fir-irst sto-op?" she called up to her mom as she kicked her shoes off, Daisy didn't like wearing shoes and would take them off most of the time when she could. She leaned down and set her shoes next to her backpack ready to put back on when they stopped. She hoped they'd stop soon and see some of the awesome stuff in Ashley's book.
Daisy pulled out her Lisa Frank coloring book and her box on crayon, carefully putting the crayons on the seat next to her she started to finish coloring a picture of kittens she'd started last night while listening to her book. [/fieldbox]
